JJ paused not knowing where exactly this was coming from but wanting to be careful with his words. He loved her with all his heart.

Jayne took the silence as something else and got up, hurrying out the door.

JJ went to stand up but Robert stopped him. "Let me."

JJ nodded to his future father-in-law.

Robert took Holly's hand and the two went to find their daughter. They found her sitting at the pier, wiping tears from her eyes.

"Jayne?" Robert said as they approached her.

Jayne tried to collect herself. "I just needed some air."

Robert went and sat down near her. "You know that's not why you left." Holly took a seat next to him.

Jayne looked at Robert and tried to keep it together. "I don't want to get hurt, I know I have you two and that's more than I have ever had but I'm just scared."

Robert wrapped his arm around his youngest daughter. "It's okay to be scared but I need you to realize you are a wonderful, beautiful, intelligent woman and JJ knows it. He's lucky to be marrying you."

"Your father is right. I know what the family has made you believe over the years because they have done that to me. Don't let them win, don't let them take your happiness again." Holly told her daughter as she took her hand.

Jayne listened to her parents, these were words she would have never heard before them. They really did mean everything to her. She hugged them both. "I love you two so much."

They both hugged her back. "We love you too and if you ever feel you aren't good enough I want you to remember how much you are loved and how worthy you are, I have no problem building you up. Just asked your mum." Robert smiled at Holly.

"No, he doesn't and neither do I." Holly told her daughter as she gave her a tissue.

JJ walked up. "Can I join you all?"

Jayne wiped her eyes and nodded. "I'm so sorry."

JJ shook his head and pulled her into a hug. "I didn't mean to hesitate. You are the most important person in my life, Jayne. I don't ever want you to doubt that."

Jayne looked into his eyes. "I'm going to try not to. I know we both want this more than anything."

"That's right." JJ gave her a kiss.

Robert and Holly decided to give them a moment, walking back towards Kelly's. "You did good." Holly told Robert as her arm was locked with his.

"Easy to do with my best partner helping me." Robert kissed Holly's head.
