Ch 9 Reunited Once Again, Only to Depart
Frankenstein's Mansion, Underground Laboratory
Underneath the Mansion was Frankenstein's Laboratory, one of many he made across the Globe for wherever he needed to move to another Country or continue his Research.
The Modified Human has situated Rai at a scanning Machine that help him analyze a Person. Specifically Modified Humans like M-21 and Takeo, in this case, Frankenstein wants to understand his master's current condition.
Never Frankenstein has encountered someone Reincarnated, let alone a Human who has the Power of the Noblesse. He was concerned with the Power of the Noblesse in the Human Body, it might lead to complications for Rai.
However, he admits that this is an interesting Subject to Study. A Human possesses the Power of the most powerful Noble on the Planet, never in a Million years or Centuries this situation would happen.
Frankenstein gave a hearty sigh, still rather complex by the analysis of his master's condition. Regardless, even though he's having trouble fully understanding Rai's Body and Powers,
The analysis of the Lycanthrope Blood is coming along nicely, soon Frankenstein would be able to develop a Cure for the remainder of the Lycanthropes.
The blonde Modified Human paused, hearing the Door to the analysis Room open. Frankenstein shifted his Head to the Door, seeing the young Noblesse exiting the Room and putting back his Sweater he came to the Mansion with.
Rai looks at his Servant who has a teary expression on his Face, "Master, it's truly wonderful that you have found your way back to us," Frankenstein said, standing up from his Chair and placing his Hand on his chest.
"Yes…" Rai said, addressing Frankenstein's relief for his return. However, as much as he wants to catch up with his Subordinates and Friends, there are still things to do. "Franken, is the Blood Analysis finished?" He asked,
Frankenstein flinched, realizing that his master reminded him of the situation. His Face turned stern, answering Rai's question. "It'll be another few minutes until the analysis is finished, master."
Rai nodded, turning to the Monitor filled with Data on the analysis on him.
Frankenstein noticed his master's gaze on the Computer, understanding his curiosity. "You're curious about the Data I collected on your Body, master?" The blonde Modified Human asked the young Noblesse.
The black-haired Boy nodded, turning his Body to fully see the Monitor. Rai listens to his Servant, explaining what he collected on his Body.
"Master, your condition is rather still new to me. Even with many Years of Scientific and other experience, I have never encountered this before." Frankenstein explains to his master his thoughts before getting to the information he collected.
"Regardless, master your situation is a unique one. I have collected immense Data on you, master." Frankenstein said, moving to retrieve the Tablet on his Desk, sharing the same results as on the Computer.
Rai shifted his Head, listening to his Servant on the Data he collected on him. "Your Body, unlike your previous Incarnation is Human. Nobles and Human Early development are somewhat similar, but Nobles take many Years to reach Maturity." Frankenstein explains to Rai his Body's development.
"In your case, your Body is Human, developing at the same rate as every Human Children." The blonde Modified Human continued, "I'm not sure what it might entail for your Adulthood and further, but I expect you'll reach your Teenage Years when you reach Thirteen."
"In any case, regarding your Powers as a Noblesse," Frankenstein said, his bow lowered when speaking about this topic. "As much as I want you not to use your Power, I don't have the authority to stop you. Regardless, I suggest you should be careful with how you use it, master." The blonde Man explains, wanting his master to take heed of his Words.
"From my analysis, when you use your Power, unlike your previous Incarnation. You use your Life Force to determine how Powerful you want your Attack to be." Frankenstein added, adjusting his glasses. "With your Body Human, I discovered that your Body is using the Food you consume as Power, something rather unconventional but a safer option. Also, another Power Source within your Body, based on your Biology it's right to assume you derive from what the Wizards call, a Magical Core."
Rai looks at Frankenstein, curious about how he knows this. "Franken, do you perhaps have experience with the Wizards before?" The young Noblesse asked his Servant.
The blonde Modified Human sighs, placing down his Tablet and answering his master's question. "Before we reunited Twenty Years ago in South Korea, a couple of Years I spent traveling the World in search of you, master," Frankenstein explains to the young Noblesse.
"During that Time I met countless Wizard Communities, many are hostile because of…heh, my tendencies." Frankenstein chuckles at how young and reckless he is. "In any case, there was one Community that was welcoming to my presence. It was a few Years back around Mid-Nineteen Hundreds when I met this young Wizard who offered me a teaching job at a School where I learn plenty of their Culture and Biology." The Modified Human explains his background knowledge of Wizard Biology.
"I see," Rai said, hearing that to be a reasonable explanation.
Frankenstein then got up from his Seat, removed his Lab Coat, and placed it on the Chair behind him. "In any case, master I'll take you up back to the First Floor. I'll give you an update about the Analysis of the Lycanthrope Blood once it's done processing. Which most likely take for quite a while"
Rai merely nodded, following his Loyal Servant back to the Elevator to the First Floor of his Mansion.
After being situated with Hot Jasmine Tea and a place to sit near the Window, everyone couldn't help but observe the young Noblesse. Mainly because they were still processing that the Strongest Noble had returned from Eternal Sleep.
"You're kidding, that can't be Raizel. Can it?" Yoonah said to her Husband, surprised that the Kid they had brought Home was the same Boy who had Girls gawking over him were the same. "M-21, how is it possible?"
M-21 shrugs, not having the full answer to give to his Wife. "I'm not sure Yoonah, despite the Boss's extensive knowledge of the Nobles. He's still perplexed with Rai's reincarnation," The grey-haired Werewolf said, turning to Muzaka who was distracted by the Television. "I'm not even sure that Muzaka has the answers as well."
Takeo approaches the Couple, overhearing their conversation. "From what I heard, Muzaka doesn't even know how Rai was able to come back." The Purple-haired Sniper said, entering their conversation with the Married Couple. "Despite being one of the few People who lived a long time on this Earth, he only heard that Reincarnation through Lukedonia's Myth."
Yoonah placed her Hand on her Chin, wondering about something. "Doesn't Lukedonia have a Library filled with Centuries of Knowledge gathered during the Years of existence?" The brunette Woman asked the Two Modified Humans.
"If we could go there, we can find some answers regarding Rai's revival," Takeo said, liking the Idea the only Human in the group gave. "However with that extensive Knowledge, it'll be most likely to be under careful watch."
M-21 looks at his Myth, adding his thoughts to the conversation. "We can always ask Regis, Rael, or Seria to permit us to see the Library in Lukedonia for information on Reincarnation." The Honorary Werewolf Warrior said, knowing the remaining Members of the RKs were coming to Britain soon.
Rai placed down his Teacup, causing the entire Room to fall silent. Everyone's attention were on the young Noblesse, curious why he did that action.
"Rai, what is it?" Muzaka asked his Friend, knowing that the action he made meant something.
Rai remains calm, turning his Head to the Elevator to the Underground Laboratory. The Elevator pings, catching everyone's attention once more as Frankenstein walks out of the Elevator.
The blonde Modified Human paused, realizing how large of a group they have in the Mansion. "Oh my, I didn't realize that we got this big of a group waiting up here," Frankenstein commented as he walked forward from the Elevator. "I should've prepared some refreshments for the wait."
Juraki shook his Head, looking at Franken. "No, you shouldn't have to prepare anything for us, Frankenstein." The blue-haired Werewolf said.
Muzaka agreed with his Subordinate, seeing this was unplanned for them to come. In truth they were trying to capture the Lycanthropes and take them back to the Territory to better help them. Or in the worst case, kill them out of their suffering,
"Juraki's right, we only came because we are worried about Rai there." The Lord of the Werewolves said, looking at the young Noblesse who was sipping his Tea. "In any case, I'd be lying if we weren't interested in the Cure for Lycanthropy Rai has ordered you to make," Muzaka stated,
Frankenstein raised a brow at what Muzaka said, causing the Werewolves to explain what they meant.
"Allow me to rephrase what Muzaka said, Frankenstein," Lunark said, clearing her throat as she continued with the explanation on being here. "It's been many Years since the Werewolf Clans heard anything regarding the Lycanthropes. Their Numbers were so small that anything regarding them was manageable." The grey-haired Woman explains.
Takeo looks up, hearing the explanation from the Werewolf Warrior. "However with everything that happened before and now, they became out of control and their Numbers grew expeditionary." The purple-haired Modified Human said, restating what he understood so far. "Is that what you're saying, Lunark?"
Lunark nodded, confirming that Takeo's statement was correct. "That's right,"
"And the reason you're here is to see if Frankenstein can develop a Cure to manage their Numbers to a manageable few." M-21 continued, assuming that was the case.
"That's pretty much the gist of it, M-21," Muzaka said, also confirming the assumption to be true. "I mean no remarks about them, however Lycanthropes are dangerous to Humans. Mainly because they can spread Lycanthropy via bite, however, if Frankenstein could provide a Cure then we can help the Humans that are unfortunately infected by the Disease."
Frankenstein and the rest of the Household understood what the Werewolves from the Territory were saying. Not only do they want to keep the Lycanthrope Population to a minimum, but also help anyone who is unfortunate enough to be dragged into it.
The blonde Modified Human shifted his Eyes to his master, wanting to see if he had an opinion on this topic. To his degree, Rai merely nodded, allowing him to continue with the development of the Cure. "I see, that is noble of you Werewolves to do. Though the Cure is far off from being complete, the Analysis of the Infected Blood should provide me some answers to making it." Frankenstein said, giving them hope.
Rai merely continued to drink his Tea as everyone celebrates on the hope his Servant gave.
A few Hours went by and Rai took a look at the Clock. The young Noblesse saw the Time and outside the Window, the Sun was about to make way for the Dawn.
The black-haired Boy stood up from his Seat, making his way to the Front Door of Frankenstein's Mansion.
"Master, where are you going?" Rai halted, hearing the voice of his Servant speaking to him. He turns around, sees Frankenstein standing right behind him. "It's already Dawn, you should rest after the Night you and everyone had," He said, already prepared a Room for his master, even before they met again.
As much as Rai wanted to stay with the Family he made in his previous Incarnation, the matter of his current one is still up for debate. "Franken…I cannot stay here in your Home." He said, causing the Modified Human to flinch. "In this Life, I have Relatives from the People who gave Life to me. Ever since their unfortunate passing, they have taken care of me to the best of their ability."
Frankenstein, as hard as he wished for his master to remain here with him. He couldn't deny the nobleness that Rai showed and the care for the People who raised him. "Of course, master." He sighs, fulfilling his master's wish. "I shall personally take you to your lodging, master. Please standby here at the Lobby."
The young Noblesse nodded, watching his Servant head to the Front Door, retrieving a Car from the Garage.
Waiting for a few moments, Rai senses another Person from up the Stairs. The young Noblesse gazed upwards, spotting a grey-haired Child with brown Eyes, similar to Yoonah.
"Um…" The young Girl fiddled with her Thumbs, not sure who this Boy was in her Uncle's Home. "Who are you? I never seen any other Kids around this Area other than me." She asked the young Noblesse.
Rai turns around, properly facing the young Girl. "I'm Rai Potter, consider me a Friend of Frankenstein and the others staying here in the Mansion." He introduced himself to the young Girl, "Might I ask who you are? Franken didn't mention anyone else staying here with him."
"Franken? Oh, you mean Uncle Frankenstein." The grey-haired Girl said, coming down the Stairs. "I'm Mina Han, my Mommy is Yoonah Han and my Daddy is M-21. Daddy's Name is funny but I'm sure it's some kind of Codename." Mina introduced herself to Rai.
Rai wasn't going to say anything regarding M-21's situation to his Daughter. It felt only right for both he and Yoonah to tell the grey-haired Girl on the reasons why M-21 was Named that way, among other things.
In the meantime, Rai merely nods to whatever Mina believes what the story behind her Father's Name.
Mina smiles at Rai agreeing with her, however, she can't help but wonder what he's doing here. "Hey, Rai I have a question." She asked the black-haired Boy. "If you're Friends with Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Frankenstein, and Uncle Takeo, how come you aren't with them in the Living Room?" The Girl asked curiously.
"As much as I want to stay more, I have Relatives in Surry that I need to go back to." The young Noblesse answered the grey-haired Girl.
Mina blinks, looking at the Grandfather Clock, seeing the Time it was. "Oh wow! It really is Late!" The grey-haired Girl exclaims, seeing at this Time she would've been sleeping. However, with the Voices echoing throughout the Mansion, and reaching her Bedroom, Mina found it hard to even close her Eyes.
The grey-haired Girl looks back at Rai, knowing why he needs to leave. "If I was out then Mommy and Daddy would be so worried about where I was," Mina said before hearing and smelling a familiar scent coming from the Living Area to the Lobby,
"Mina, what are you doing up still?" M-21 entered the Lobby, hearing some voices coming in this direction. He was surprised to see his Daughter awake where she was supposed to be asleep.
"Sorry, Daddy, everyone was talking loudly downstairs that it's hard for me to sleep," Mina explains to the grey-haired Man, smiling at his presence. She came down the Stairs, heading to her Father, hugging him around the waist.
Rai watches as the Little Girl hugs M-21 with much affection, as all Children around Mina's Age.
M-21 chuckles, placing his Hand on top of her Head. "You're such a handful, Mina. Much like your Mother." The Honorary Werewolf Warrior smiles at Mina,
The Modified Human turns to his Boss, assuming he has questions regarding him and his Daughter. M-21 looks down at Mina, moving his Hand to her shoulders, "Hey, Mina why don't you go upstairs? It's way past your Bedtime and if your Mother catches you out of Bed,"
"Then she'll be mad at me for being up," Mina said, understanding her Father's request. She nodded, turning to look at Rai one last Time before doing exactly what M-21 asked of her. "It's nice to meet you Rai, I hope you visit Uncle Frankenstein's Home," She smiled at the young Noblesse before heading up to her Bedroom.
M-21 approached Rai, his Eyes not letting off from his Daughter. "Surprising isn't it? That me out of all People would have a Wife and a Daughter to call me own." He said to the black-haired Boy, still comprehending the position he was in. "Even though I feel like I don't deserve all of this,"
Rai looks at the Honorary Werewolf, denying what he said about himself. "You're wrong, M-21. You have experienced a lot in your Life, suffering, Lost, and many more." The young Noblesse stated, causing M-21 to look at him. "You worked hard to fight for your Freedom and live as you wanted. Don't ever question what Life has given you,"
M-21 stared at the black-haired Boy, chuckling at Rai being helpful as always. The grey-haired Man smiles, crossing his Arms at him. "It's hard to believe that a Kid is somehow an Ancient and all-powerful Being. You know exactly what to say given the situation, Rai."
Rai accepted the compliment made by his Subordinate, he then paused. The Front Door of the Mansion opened, revealing Frankenstein heading back in.
The young Noblesse could see a Silver Toyota Camry parked in Front of the Yard. His Loyal Servant made his way back inside his Mansion, kneeling to Rai, and placing his Hand on his Chest. "Master, the Car is ready to depart to your Relatives' Home,"
"Thank you, Franken." Rai turns to M-21, wanting him to do something for him. "M-21, please give my farewell to Muzaka and the rest of his Clan Members. I'll be seeing him around soon," The Noblesse walked forward, passing Frankenstein as he stood up and followed him outside.
M-21 merely agreed to Rai's request, raising his Hand to bid him goodbye. "Yeah, you can count on me for that, Boss." The Modified Human said,
Riding in the back of the Car, Rai looked outside the Car Window, passing the Forest as they entered Surry.
In the Driver's Seat, Frankenstein's blue Eyes gazed upwards at the rearview Mirror. It has been his longest Dream since the Missile Crisis and his discovery at the Wizarding Village has evidence of his master's return.
Smiling, the blonde Modified Human spoke to his master finally having some Time alone. "Master, you have no idea how relieving to have you back after all these Years," Frankenstein said,
"Indeed, it has been so long, Franken," Rai said, also sharing his feelings about meeting everyone again from his previous Incarnation. "Everyone has changed during the Years I was away. It's nice," The young Noblesse smiles, wondering what happened to his Friends from Ye Ran Highschool.
"If you're wondering what happened to your Friends from Ye Ran, I can tell you, master." Frankenstein offered the young Noblesse, having information about the Human Children Rai befriended.
The black-haired Boy nodded, his curiosity was itching away at him.
Frankenstein nodded, answering his question. "Han Shinwoo has joined Korea's Military, his Martial Arts Skills have impressed the Scouting Agency that visited the School. Woo Ik-Han has worked for a Computer Company as an IT Person. Yuna is in her Third Semester of University, studying to be a Veterinarian, and Suyi became the Top Model for South Korea, appearing in many famous Events." The Modified Human explains what has happened to Rai's Friends after he Reincarnated.
"In all, they are all doing well," Frankenstein said to his master. "I made it my personal Mission to ensure that any of your Friends is watched well kept. We don't want anything to happen to them." The blonde Man explains,
Rai agreed, appreciating Frankenstein and the RKs kept working on protecting the Human World, especially his Friends. "Thank you, Franken. It put me at ease to know what their Friends were up to.
Frankenstein looks up at Rai once more, "Master…" The Modified Human frowns, wanting to make sure with him on this decision. "Are you certain that you want to return to your Incarnation's Relatives Home? You're very well they aren't strong enough to protect you if those Lycanthropes decided to Attack again."
"Franken, you're still the same selfish Man that I've known for Years," Rai said, seeing Frankenstein hasn't changed one bit. "Whenever it involves my safety, you're willing to put myself as your top priority. However, if the Lycanthropes are targeting Humans, I must protect them." He stated, deciding to stay with the Humans.
"Forgive me, master," Frankenstein said, understanding that Rai doesn't put himself First before others. The young Noblesse doesn't work like that, the fact he asked that question made him guilty.
Rai gazed his Amber Eyes to the front, seeing how disappointed his Servant was in himself. "If you're worried about my safety, Frankenstein, you and the others to visit me in Surry." The young Noblesse said, giving his Servant an ultimatum.
Frankenstein's Face brightens at what his master is offering. "Thank you so much!" He exclaims, happy he gets the chance to see his master whenever he wants to. In fact, he has an idea to see his master even more.
