Chapter one: Ninja and Yoma,
Hijikata sat at a desk inside Hanzo's library, trying her hardest to study for the upcoming exams,
To her friends any time the word 'exam' was mentioned their friend changed entirely, she'd knuckle down no matter how hard it was and study her butt off until the test was finished, then she'd revert back to her regular fun loving self,
And anytime she felt like stopping, her fingers would go to a locket around her neck, and when she really struggled, she'd pop it open and take a look inside, her expression would turn sombre, and she just sit and stare,
Inside the locket was a picture of her and a boy, both of them were very young, around five or six,
She'd brush her fingers gently over the photograph, "One day bud," she'd say,
Two chairs were pulled out opposite her, "Vas zat frau Knight?" a girl with pink neck length hair girl asked as she flopped down into her chair, followed by a tired looking short blue haired girl,
Hijikata looked between them, "Just..." she closed her eyes, "remembering an old friend,"
"You look sad Hiji," the blue haired girl said softly, "are you alright?"
The brown haired girl just tucked the locket behind her top, "I..." she started, "he's the man I wanted to marry one day," she admitted, "but I haven't seen him since we were kids, his parents... well..." she let out a breath, "and he just took off running after,"
"Mein gott," the German girl quickly tapped her forehead, stomach, and then her left and right shoulders, "Ze things he must've been through,"
"But he made it out alright didn't he?" the tired girl asked, "like he must've just gone to a relative right?"
Hijikata smiled, "Yeah," she said, but her hand went back to her locket, telling the two enough,
"Vhy not come vith us?" The German girl asked, she nudged the other girl who nodded,
"Yeah, let's hang out for a bit so you can get a break," Seimei agreed
Hijikata smiled, "Aw thanks girls, but I can't, I gotta study,"
"Vhy you'd get za top markz anyvay ja?"
"I gotta be smart Hilde," Hijikata said, "what if I run into him one day?" she asked, "he'll be all rugged looking and sexy, and I'll still be this baby faced cute childhood friend," she said, "If I'm not top six in all scores then I can't take care of him with my career,"
"Zomehow I doubt zhis boy vould care vas number your zcores are at," Hilde stated blandly,
"Though I think he would appreciate you wanting to take care of him,"
The girls realised that a teacher was coming over to them and sat straight, "Ladies the Principal has asked to see you," he said, "he" was Mr Fujiwara, the vice Principal, he wore a brown suit and had glasses, and he was one of the few members of staff that were Ninja,
"The principal?" Hijikata asked, "us?" she asked,
"That's right" Fujiwara stated, he leaned closer, "He wishes to see a dance cloaked in shadow,"
Hijikata's eyes widened, "U-us?"
"That's right," Fujiwara nodded, "grab your gear and meet him in the office,"
OCTOPUS-Much later-OCTOPUS
A young woman sat in her home eating her dinner clearly shaken by something, she was surrounded by several armed and armoured men and women,
"Miss Carson" several people entered the home, "the sweep is done, your stalker is nowhere to be seen,"
She stood up , "Oh thank you," she said quickly running over to the man and hugging him for dear life, "thank you,"
"It's uh... what we're here for ma'am," the bodyguard stated, "We're ready to escort you to your new shoot now,"
"Okay okay" she said taking a deep breath, "escort me to my car please,"
The gathered girls watched from above as the team took the model to her car, they were assigned a simple mission, Carla Pauline was being stalked by someone who seemed to want to do her harm,
It was a simple job, make sure that her stalker wasn't a problem, it would be their first real mission as ninja without someone watching over them, "Alright" Hilde said as she looked over her remote, "I'm following ze car now frau Knight," she said, decked out in what looked like WWII era gear, though she wore the uniform of an English general,
"Good Hilde, keep following it" Hijikata decked out in her full knight armour ordered,
"Jawhol," Hilde nodded,
"Seimei do you have a visual on anything?"
"Zzzzzzz"
Hijikata frowned and saw Seimei asleep on her weapon, a custom four shot rocket launcher with a blanket over it,
The lady dressed in Knight armour pinched the bridge of her nose, she kneeled down and shook the girl awake, "Mmm whowah?" Seimei yawned as she got up, "mmm I was having a good dream Hiji, you met your boyfriend in it, and we got two new members,"
"Nice dream but we're on a job Sei,"
"Mmmkay" the blue haired pyjama wearing girl stood up grabbing her weapon and trying to see if she could spot anyone using the rooftops,
Meanwhile the stalker was waiting using close back alleys to follow the car, as Hilde looked through the camera on her controller she saw something shine out of the alleys,
"Girls," she said, "back alleys,"
Seimei changed her view and Hijikata leapt across the roofs, she looked down and saw a hooded figure with a shield on his back,
"Hey!" Hijikata called making them freeze for a second, "Take the shield off your back, and wait for me to get down there," they took a breath, and then started running, Hijikata ran along the roofs and shouted to her teammates, "FOUND SOMEONE!" she cried while he took his shield off his back and charged out of the alleys dashing past the rockets and bullets shot at him by the ninja girls and the bodyguards fired at him,
He used his shield to slash through the hood of the car stopping the car dead in it's tracks,
Three bodyguards shot out and aimed guns at the young man, two on the side he was on and the third on the side he wasn't, "Quick ma'am this way!" he said pulling her out the car,
Hijikata leapt onto the ground and watched as the man ran past the guards shoving them aside, "STOP!" he roared as the guard and the lady vanished into the shadows, he charged after them and stopped as a gun was placed to his head, "No" he said,
Hijikata ran behind him, and her eyes went wide, "Oh god,"
The bodyguard's corpse was suspended by blades in the shoulders, as Paula Carson shed her human body like a snake shedding skin, her lower half replaced by long spidery limbs, "Stay back hunter!" she said hiding behind the corpse of the bodyguard, "you got my sisters but you won't get me or my children, I've laid eggs inside each of my bodyguards except this one, if you leave now they'll stay dormant inside them, but if you stay here I'll-"
The hooded man dashed forward slicing though the body and then slamming the Yoma into the wall behind her, "W-wai-"
He grabbed her head and yanked it off causing the two guards to groan and pass out, he put his shield on his back, "You're likely confused yeah?" he asked, Hijikata nodded, "well I'll start simply then," he said, "Paula Carson wasn't real, just an identity made up by a Yoma in human skin, known for dining on only the ''finest specimens of humanity,'' she was a relatively weak Yoma, she stood no chance against people like you," he stated, "or..." he looked down at his clawed arm, "things like me,"
Hijikata looked at his arm, "...Wait" she said, she walked over to him and pulled down his hood revealing the short blonde haired young man with two horns poking out of his head, "Kuma?" she asked,
He narrowed his eyes at her slightly, "Hiji?"
Hijikata's eyes went wide, "Oh my god! Kumadori how've you been?"
"I don't know Hijikata! I've mostly been running around killing Yoma, what about you?" he asked,
"Been training to be a ninja to take care of you when we start dating," She responded,
"What a trip it's lovely to see you ag-..." he froze for a second, "w-wait dating?" he asked,
Hijikata smirked and grabbed his top pulling the much taller teen down and then pressed her lips to his neck,
"HwhAT?" he cried his face turning bright red,
Hijikata started snickering, at how embarrassed he was, she turned to her team, "Hey guys come meet my boyfriend,"
Seimei and Hilde looked to one another before leaping down to the ground below, they walked over to the grinning knight and the blushing tall man with a big clawed furry right hand, "Guten morgen," Hilde said as she moved her tank into firing range in case this man did anything,
"Kuma this is Hilde and Seimei, they're my friends from school," she said gesturing to the girls, "girls this is Kumadori my childhood friend I told you about,"
"We uh got that," Seimei said,
"You forgot to mention he vas Yoma frau knight,"
"Oh he's only 1/3 Yoma," Hijikata said waving their concerns away, "the rest of him is human, at least as I remember from when we used to take baths together,"
"C-could you not mention that?!" Kumadori pleaded, "it's so embarrassing!"
Hijikata put her hands behind her back, "Why? imagining bathing with me no-,"
"No!" he cried, then shoved his head back into his hands, "I swear I remember you having a pure heart!"
"My heart is pure thank you very much," Hiji stated indignantly,
"Hold on," Seimei said, "so your childhood friend from the locket was actually this guy the entire time?"
"Yeah!" Hijikata said, quickly she wrapped Kumadori in a hug, "isn't he great?"
"Ve have so much to explain," Hilde stated,
The three kunoichi took the lone male and lone yoma among them back to Hanzo Academy hoping to explain what had transpired to the principal,
Successfully sneaking the large young man past the students of the school was somewhat challenging, but thanks to their ninja training they made it to the principal's office, they knocked three times and heard "Enter," from the inside,
They entered the office and found a large muscular man in a workout outfit deadlifting heavy weights, as soon as they entered he turned to look at them, at the sight of the tall boy with the arm behind his back he dropped the weight and walked closer to them popping his neck,
"A Yoma with my students?" he asked drawing twin Sai off his waistband,
"Wait Mr Principal I can explain," Hijikata said, "he's friendly I swear watch," she grabbed Kumadori and again kissed his his neck causing him to blush and put his head into his hands,
"Hiji stop doing that!" he cried,
Hijikata turned to the principal with a big grin, "See? totally harmless,"
The principal looked extremely confused, and also angry, though that was normal for him, "Alright you have one minute,"
"We're friends from childhood, I knew his mum and she was half Yoma,"
"Zere's a half Yoma too?" Hilde asked,
"Here," Kumadori said, he took his necklace off and opened it, showing in one side the same picture Hijikata had in hers, and in the other side of the necklace was a picture of the same small boy, a tall muscular tanned man with an axe on his shoulders, and an even taller brown furred bear yoma woman with tan skin covered in scars, with furry arms the claws of which looked like small knives,
"Those are my parents," Kumadori said, "As you can see my mother was not fully human,"
"Mein gott, I'd hate to meet ze grandparents of his mother,"
"You've already seen my grandfather," Kumadori stated, he brandished his shield showing a large menacing looking bear skull at dead centre, "grandpa's going through a little atonement for all the stuff he's done in life,"
"That's your Pap-pap's skull?" Seimei asked,
"It's all that's left of him after my mum got through with him," Kumadori stated, "she never told me why she went after him, just that she killed him and was glad he was dead, dad told me not to pry, sometimes I wonder if even he knew,"
He looked from the shield and to the principal, "My mum was a Yoma, yes, but she didn't believe on preying on the weak, she killed the Yoma that came to our town looking for an easy meal, and I've been doing the same," he stated, "that celebrity you sent these girls to protect was a Yoma in disguise, one who already-"
"Planted eggs into her bodyguards bodies?" The Principal asked, "I know, I knew that by sending these three ninja the problem would take care of itself, admittedly I assumed the ninja I sent would handle it, and then apprehend you, but that was obviously not what happened,"
"Vas?" Hilde asked, "You knew? how?"
The principal crossed his arms, "Someone here at the school has the ninja art of Foresight," He said, "but the predictions are vague, for example the one about that mission was ''Paula Carson is a demon, If you send Hijikata and two other ninja they'll meat a 1/3 yoma boy who hunts yoma and Hijikata will bring him to the academy''," he said looking at a piece of paper, "like seriously, what does any of that even mean?!" he roared, "how does someone even ''meat'' someone? was you all supposed to get turned into beef?" he raged,
The teens looked very confused, "Uh, zat sounded razer straightforward to me," Hilde said,
Principal Redshell gritted his teeth, "You don't understand," he said, "these premonitions are always either vague or what you think they're telling you is not actually what they're telling you," he took out another note, "for example, ''your winning numbers are 16785, use them now teens behind Principal Redshell and you'll be ritch,'' or how about this one, ''there's no one listening to you Redshell they left as soon as you mentioned being ritch'' and finally ''Sucker'' WHO IS SUPPOSED TO UNDERSTAND THESE CRYPTIC VISIONS?!" He roared,
The ninja girls(With Hijikata dragging Kumadori) went and cashed in their winning numbers, splitting the ten million three ways(because Kuma having not really lived in society for so long had no concept of money and opted out of splitting it four ways and was just happy they were happy,) Now they stood around wondering exactly what to buy.
