Today marks two years since the spell was broken. Since then, Belle and Adam –previously referred to as the beast– had a beautiful wedding that took place at the castle's garden and became king and queen of Belle's former town, Villeneuve. They also have used Adam's story to show others how important love is.

"Adam!" Belle screamed as she ran through the fully lit castle. "We need to get going or we will be late."

Prince Adam rushed down the stairs with a huge smile on his face; he and Belle had a big day ahead of them. As part of the broken curse celebration, they planned a town meeting. Ever since they had been over the village, no days were the same as the last.

As the crowd surrounded the town, Adam started his speech: "Villeneuve," he started, "I am thrilled to announce that today marks the two year anniversary since the curse was broken. It has been two years since the end of my beastly figure, two years since the end of my servants' spells, two years since me and Belle fell in love, and two years since the unity between the castle and this village started." Adam pauses as the crowd goes crazy and then continues, "Belle and I also have something else very exciting to announce."

Belle steps forward and starts to speak, "We have been keeping a little secret from you all for quite a while now. Adam and I are going to have a prince this coming spring."

Adam and Belle watch as the villagers' faces light up with excitement. There is only one person in the crowd that did not look as excited as the rest, the enchantress. When Adam noticed this, he did not know why she was not joyful after all he had overcome. He looked from side to side trying to find a problem, but he only realized when he looked into her eyes what the problem was.

"No… no… no," Adam said to himself as he made his way to the ground, adding more intensity with each word.

"What is it?" Belle asked, kneeling where Adam was to hear his response. Though, Adam did nothing but sob. Belle looked out at the crowd to see what could have upset him and when she did, she saw the enchantress coming towards their platform. "What did you do to him?"

"One part of the curse could not be overruled after the last petal fell," the enchantress stated. "The curse that was put on him was very clear that part of it could not be reversed by me if the petal had already dropped."

"What part is that?" asked Belle.

"When she cast the spell on me, it said…" Adam paused. "The curse would affect my future generations if not broken before the last rose petal dropped."

"So what are you saying?" Belle's lips quivered.

"Our kid is going to be a beast…like I was," Adam answered dreadfully. "I just completely threw that thought out of my head because I never thought I would ever have a kid."

Almost before Adam could get that statement out of his mouth, Belle ran off. This situation was too much for her right now, so she decided to go to the place that made her feel most at ease: where her father was laid to rest.

Belle arrived at the grave and immediately fell to her knees, sobbing. Her tears streamed down her face faster than she could think about the problem.

"Dad," Belle sobbed. "I don't know what I got myself into."

Then, Belle heard footsteps coming at her from behind, so she shouted, "I do not want to talk to you, Ad…"

"It is me," a familiar, soft spoken voice said. When Belle turned around, the voice continued. "I am sorry for the circumstances you have been put under, but you have to know that it was neither mine nor Adam's fault. I could tell by the excitement in his eyes that he truly did not remember this part of the spell that was placed on him."

"Why didn't you take it away?!" Belle did not know whether to be angry or upset at this moment.

"Sometimes, spells are cast that are too big to reverse once the time is up…" she paused, "and this was one of them, unfortunately."

Adam came out from behind the enchantress with puffy eyes.

"I am sorry, Belle. If I would have remembered, I never would have done this to us…" Adam quivered, "to you."

A few months later

The last few months were hard for the couple, but their bad situation also strengthened their relationship more than they could imagine. Currently, Belle is about to welcome her son into the world, even if he will be in a beastly form.

"He's almost here!" the nurse said, trying to make this moment as joyful as she can despite the awful situation.

Suddenly, the baby beast fell into the doctor's hands and she said, "Congratulations, your baby has arrived. Though, we do have to take it… him to get checked out, since he is unusual."

After the baby beast got checked out, the doctor brought him back to his parents, but instead of giving him to Belle, the doctor just laid him in the bassinet.

"No," Belle exclaimed, "I want to hold him! I want to hold Prince Maddix."

The moment baby Maddix was laid in her arms, Belle fell in love with him.

"I am going to take care of you either way, Maddix, no matter what you look like on the outside," Belle said.

"We will take care of you no matter what," Adam said as he laid one hand on Belle and the other on his son.

This instant connection of love between the three of them was very unexpected to everyone that witnessed it, but it was especially unexpected to Belle and Adam.

Though, the enchantress, looking in through the door's window, was not surprised by this extraordinary sight. She knew that this moment was enough to break the spell for good, but she could not undo this, Adam and Belle had to.

Adam and Belle both looked each other in the eyes, and then looked at their beastly son, knowing that they had to get four words off of their chests.

Without knowing what would happen next, Adam and Belle both said, "I love you, Maddix."

Instantly, Maddix's beastly form started to disappear, starting with his hairy body and ending with his claws. Maddix was now a human, but his look did not

The same love that Adam and Belle had for their baby beast was the same as the love that they had now for their baby human.

Adam, Belle, and Maddix lived happily ever after.
