You had just gotten off the phone with Leith Pierre, head of Innovation at Playtime, Co. You couldn't believe it. After months of unemployment, you FINALLY have a job! Not only that, but you are now an employee at one of the most prestigious beacons of child welfare in the entire United States!

You walk to the closet of your apartment and open it. Inside, you find a small doll; a Huggy Wuggy doll. He was your favorite when you were a kid. You were a Playtime kid through and through, and you grew up on their products, from their cartoons to their toys and other merchandise. Now a young adult, you wish to provide the same childhood to the future generations...or to advance humanity forward by any means necessary.

You look in the mirror in your bathroom. This time tomorrow, you will be starting work at Playtime, Co.

The next day, you find a book in your box downstairs. It's an orientation workbook of some kind. You take it back upstairs and open it up.

It details every single available role. You know which one you applied for, but you can't help but look at the others.

Playcare Counselor – Bring up and guide the youth of Playcare as a counselor! Your job would be to mentor the Playcare orphans and to act as parental figures to them. Big brothers and big sisters! Mothers and fathers! It would be up to you to ensure these children feel safe and loved!

Innovation Scientist – Work under one of the brightest minds in the United States, Dr. Harley Sawyer, and help as he pushes humanity (and Playtime) further into the future!

Factory Technician – Work in our state-of-the-art production facility and help build the nation's favorite toys, bringing smiles and joy to kids around the world!

Security Personnel – Work within our esteemed security program and keep our factory, the children, and everything else belonging to Playtime, Co. safe! We pride ourselves on our toys and excellent childcare, but we also pride ourselves on our security.

You look at the bottom of the page. Scrawled on in pen is...an ad for Warrenbach Construction? They're just an outside contractor. They're not part of Playtime, Co. Why are they there?

The choice is yours; which position did you apply for?

A/N: I will be working on the next chapters soon. All five positions will have its own chapter released at the same time, each labeled the position title accompanied with the chapter number. So, please follow this story if CYOA stories are your thing! There won't be many choices in this story aside from this, but there might be some. I'm not sure when or where, though. Thank you for reading through this and I hope you stick by and read more!
