"Happy birthday, Dad." Trent smiles hugging his adoptive father.
Anton Mercer nods, releasing his former White ranger son. "Thank you Trent, your mother is waiting for you in the car."
"Right, see you after school." He chuckles dryly as he heads out his father's home office.

"How were the kids?" Her husband asks smiling as he enters her principal office.
"The usual; no detentions, sadly had to break up a food fight, yet with no Monster of the Day things are calmer. Actually that's the unsettling thing to me."
The former evil couple chuckles at that. "Oh dear, Trent thought you'd come to see me before the bell. Happy Birthday Anton." His wife kisses his right cheek, offering a wrapped gift.
He smiles curiously, feeling it definitely a framed picture. Carefully ripping the paper, a tiny gasp escapes the stoic business man.
"His drawing skills are flourishing." Elana gives a motherly smile beside Anton, he too beams with pride.
"The detail of our wedding photo is inspiring. I'm actually ashamed before long I didn't believe in Trent's artistic endeavors." The blond man chuckles dryly.
Elana hugs him from behind. "Well we both weren't acting good at the time." Her implication gets her husband nodding.
