Ch 25 Rescue

Simba and his lionesses neared the Dark Land border. Simba immediately saw Scar and his eyes darkened and he growled. Nala, who was right beside her mate heard the growl and she gently nudged her mate. This caused Simba to regain him composure and focus on his current goal, which was getting his daughter back. "Scar," Simba hissed, glaring at his Uncle.

"Why if it isn't my nephew," Scar said, mockingly. "To what to I owe this visit?"

"Cut the act Scar," Simba spat out. "I know you have my daughter! Return her to me and there won't be any need for bloodshed."

"Oh Simba you really are a fool," Scar said with an evil chuckle. "But that's not a surprise considering who your father was. My brother was always a fool. That's why it was so easy disposing of him!"

"You bastard!" Simba snarled, lunging towards Scar. But Nala quickly stopped her mate.

"Simba please calm down," the creamy coated Queen whispered. "Scar is purposefully trying to provoke you into attacking him."

"Nala's right Sim'," Tojo said, coming up beside Simba. "Remember Scar is King of the Dark Lands now. If you attack him in his own Kingdom he'd be within his rights to kill you."

"That bastard took my daughter," Simba snarled. "So to Hell with..."

"Dad please listen to Mom and Uncle Tojo," Kopa pleaded, getting in front of Simba.

"Yeah Dad," Kion chimed in. "If you do something stupid then Kiara is as good as dead. And...and so are you." Kion swallowed as he blinked back tears. Simba noticed this and his expression soften.

"Don't worry boys," the King said softly. "I won't do anything foolish." Simba gave his boys a small smile before turning back towards Scar. "I know you had your lionesses kidnap my daughter! I have witnesses that saw this. Return her at once or it'll be war!"

"Oh Simba," Scar said, his green eyes gleaming. "Why should I return her? She and I have been having so much fun. And I think Nala knows just what I mean by that." Scar cackled evilly when he said this part.

"No!" Nala gasped, her blue eyes wide with horror as she realized what Scar was implying.

"That's it!" Simba thundered, her amber eyes flashing with anger. "This is an act of war!"

"Then so be it!" Scar thundered back. "Attack!" With that Scar's lionesses charged towards Simba and his lionesses. Simba let out a loud roar as he and his Pride went charging towards Scar's Pride. The two sides connected and the war was on.

TLKTLKTLK

Nguvu stayed back along with Hai, neither one of them wanting to join in the battle. Just then Nuka and Kovu came charging toward them with Vitani right behind them. "You!" Nuka snarled, his ruby eyes blazing as he saw Nguvu. "Time for some serious payback!"

"Nuka wait!" Kovu cried out, stepping in front of his brother. "Don't attack him!" But his words fell on deaf ears as Nuka blew right past him and lunged himself at Nguvu, taking him to the ground.

"Time to teach you a lesson you bitch!" Vitani snarled at the same time as she lunged at Hai, taking her to the ground as well.

"Guys stop!" Kovu cried out, desperately trying to get his siblings to listen to him. But Nuka and Vitani were to focused on their goal that they didn't hear Kovu's cries.

"The cave!" Nguvu cried out as he shoved Nuka off of him. "Kiara's being held in the cave in the back!"

"We'll help you free her if you let us!" Hai declared as she kicked Vitani away from her.

"Elephant shit!" Nuka snarled, glaring at Nguvu. "You're on Scar and Zira's side!"

"Yeah!" Vitani growled, glaring at Hai. "We're not stupid enough to believe whatever lies you're trying to feed us!"

"I think we should!" Kovu piped up, causing both his siblings to look at him with surprise. "Look guys I don't think Nguvu and Hai are our enemies here!"

"Damn straight we're not!" Nguvu cried out.

"Yeah sure you're not!" Nuka cried out. "You attacked us! You gave my kid brother that scar!" Nuka gestured towards Kovu's right eyes, which did indeed have a small scar on it.

"That was an accident!" Nguvu declared. "I swear it was!"

"Nuka I believe him!" Kovu said. "Please lets not waste anymore time here! Kiara needs our help!" Without waiting for a response Kovu shoved Nuka off of Nguvu and cried out, "Take us to Kiara right now!"

"Follow me!" Nguvu called out as he and Hai took off towards the cave where Kiara was being held. Kovu quickly followed but Vitani hesitated at first.

"Are we really doing this Nuk'," the young lioness said.

"Well I'm damn sure gonna make sure Kovu is safe!" Nuka declared as he ran after the group. Vitani sighed and followed her brother while silently hoping they weren't making a huge mistake.

TLKTLKTLK

Meanwhile Simba and Scar were facing off the two lions were circling around each other, neither one of them willing to strike first. "Give it up Scar," Simba snarled, glaring at his evil Uncle. "I beat you once and I'll beat you again!"

"Oh Simba you really are a fool," Scar cackled, his emerald eyes gleaming with hatred. "You should have let me die all that time ago! Now you, your brats and your precious mate will all die! Except for your daughter. She and I are going to be having a lot of fun together!" Scar let out an evil cackle when he said this part.

"You bastard!" Simba roared, lunging for Scar, taking the old lion to the ground. When Scar's Pride saw their King get taken to the ground they hesitated to help him. Zira saw this and hissed.

"Help him now or the brat dies!" The Dark Land lionesses exchanged looks and they reluctantly raced to help Scar. Simba's lionesses were watching and they quickly intercepted the lionesses and once again the fight was on.

TLKTLKTLK

Meanwhile Nguvu, Hai, Kovu, Nuka and Vitani had reached the cave where Kiara and Chaka were being held. "Move or die!" Nguvu snarled at the lionesses that were guarding the cave.

"Oh yeah?' one of the lionesses sneered. "You and what army."

"This army," Kovu snarled, coming beside Nguvu with Nuka, Vitani and Hai right with him.

"Its not worth it Guama," another lioness whispered.

"Yeah," a third lioness said. "They'll rip us to shreds." Without waiting for a response the lioness left. Once they were gone Nguvu, Kovu and Nuka ran and moved to boulder to the cave.

"Kiara!" Kovu cried out.

"Oh Kovu thank the Kings you're here!" Kiara cried out running up to her love and nuzzling him.

"It was really scary in there," Chaka said, latching onto Nguvu's front leg.

"I know it was buddy," Nguvu said, rubbing Chaka's back soothingly.

"Uh hate to break off the love fest," Vitani said. "But don't you think we should stop the war that's happening right now?"

"Lets go!" Kiara said, taking off towards the fighting with the rest of the group right behind her.

TLKTLKTLK

Simba threw Scar to the ground and slashed his face hard. "I'll kill you you bastard!" the Pride Land King snarled, his amber eyes blazing with fury. Simba went to attack his uncle but Scar's lionesses intercepted him and took the golden lion to the ground.

"Dad!" Kopa and Kion cried out, racing to help their father. Nala had tried to help her mate but Zira had intercepted and the two lionesses were having a battle of their own. Kopa quickly jumped in to help his father but when Kion went to help he soon found his path blocked by Scar.

"Well now," the old lion cackled, his green eyes gleaming. "Isn't this a pleasant surprise?'' Before Kion could react Scat hit the young Prince in the face, sending him to the ground. Before Kion could recover Scar hit him again, causing his head to snap back. Scar continued his assault on Kion. "And now," the old lion said, his voice low and cold. "You'll die for your betrayal." With that Scar raised his paw, fully prepared to end Kion's life.
