"Well, that was a tough day of filming," Sonic said wearily. "Time to kick back and relax in my trailer!"

The blue hedgehog zipped off the movie set and made his way through the studio. He had just finished a day's work of shooting his latest motion picture. He was looking forward to a rest. It was tough work to be a supersonic movie star as well as an action hero. The third instalment in his movie franchise was proving to be the most demanding to make yet.

Sonic smiled to himself. He was confident all this hard work would pay off when the movie would hit theatres. It was sure to be a huge hit among his fans - especially since a certain someone they all loved was making his big screen debut in this one.

It took Sonic no time at all to reach his trailer. He was about to zip inside, intending to spending the evening ahead eating chilli dogs and posting the latest selfies he'd snapped on set to his social media page…

…when he screeched to a stop, his eyes widening in shock.

The door of his trailer no longer had the blue hedgehog's name on it.

Instead, the golden star emblem which had been painted upon it had another hedgehog's name inside.

Sonic clenched his teeth. He had no trouble recognising the name of this hedgehog. It was the one who was co-staring in the movie alongside him - and had now seemingly claimed his trailer for himself.

Kicking open the door, Sonic burst into the little house on wheels - and his jaw fell open when he saw who was inside it.

"Shadow?!"

Sure enough, Shadow the Hedgehog was inside Sonjc's trailer. He was sprawled out comfortably on the large luxary bed inside. The Ultamite Lifeform was surrounded by several pretty women who were all pampering him and spoiling him, yet he was paying no attention to any of them as he fixed his hard stare onto his blue fellow cast member.

"Whadda want, Sonic?"

"An explanation!" Sonic fumed angrily. "What are you doing in my trailer?!"

"This is my trailer now, Sonic," Shadow answered bluntly.

"No it's not! You know darn well it's not! You've seen my name on the door! Only I get to stay in this trailer as I'm the star of the movie!"

"I think you'll find that I'm the star now, Sonic!" Shadow grunted. "I'm the one who the fans will be flocking to the theatre to see on the silver screen!"

"You can't be the star!" Sonic hollered. "That's ridiculous! It's my name that's in the movie's title!"

"Well I got my name to replace yours on the trailer door! Replacing your name with mine in the movie's title should be just as easy!"

"You can't do that, dude! That'll doom this film! No one will wanna go see a movie called Shadow the Hedgehog!"

"Wouldn't they?!" Shadow sneered mockingly at Sonic before picking into a walkie-talkie to speak into it. "Omega, get this intruder out of my trailer!"

No sooner had Shadow given his orders than a large shape looked behind Sonic. A knot tightened in the blue hedgehog's stomach as he swung around - to find himself face-to-face with E-123 Omega.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Sonic cried. "You ain't got a job here!"

Omega paid no attention as he grabbed Sonic in his metallic grasp. The hedgehog hailed and kicked and flailed as the giant robot lifted him high into the air - before throwing him out of the trailer.

Sonic yelled as he flew through the air. He left his trailer behind as he soared over the stunned cast and crew members - before crashing down on the studio floor in front of his two co-stars.

"Sonic!" Tails cried, dropping to his fallen best friend's side. "Are you okay?!"

"Ooh, that looked like it hurt!" Knuckles winced. "You really oughta get yourself a stunt double, Sonic!"

With shaky hands, Sonic tried to lift himself up from the floor. Tails and Knuckles took a hand each to help him to his feet. The blue hedgehog rubbed his purple bruises he had picked up from the floor. He cast a look back towards the trailer he'd been thrown out from, a deep glare on his face as he started to irritably march off.

"Sonic?" Tails exclaimed, bewildered.

"Where are you off to?" Knuckles asked.

"I'm gonna have a little talk with the movie producers…" Sonic answered bitterly. "I'm gonna try to persuade them to tear up Shadow's contract - before I rip him a new one myself!"

"Good work, Omega," Shadow said. "I know I can count on you to take care of that pesky blue hedgehog who I'm so gonna totally overthrow and replace as the star of this picture!"

"So does this mean you'll give me a job in this movie like you promised, Shadow?" Omega asked hopefully.

"Why, yes, Omega! There's certainly a job for you in this business - as my minder!" Shadow sneered. "Gotta have you around to protect me from my overly-obsessed fans - and to smash the cameras of the pesky paparazzi! Can't have cameras flashing in my face when I'm trying to preform Chaos Control!"
