After killing the Red Death, Hiccup and Toothless leave and explore the world.

Ten years after Grimmel's attack on New Berk, Hiccup and the other riders have a sudden desire to return to Dragon's Edge. As they return to a place that holds many memories for them, both good times, and bad, Zephyr and Nuffink get a chance to learn more about their parents and the bond that held the Dragon Riders together during the trying time they faced on the Edge.

Unfortunately, an unexpected turn of events has caused the conflicting dragons to work together to mend their friendship with her.

For as long as Hiccup could remember, he's been seeking somewhere or someone to belong to. When he and Toothless are captured by the Dragon Thief, he thought he could finally get answers from the person he's always dreamed of knowing. However, it becomes painfully obvious that his life will never be easy, and not even his dreams can survive reality's cruelty.
