Same Night: The Kyln Prison
Inside: Showers
Twilight explains to Applejack that Pinkamena is not the only woman that has tried to kill her by telling Applejack her past scars that are from the woman she's been with before she got together and married Sunset.
Twilight pulls her collar down a bit to show Applejack another scar on the right side of her collarbone, "I got right here, a Kree girl tried to rip out my thorax." Applejack looks away to Pinkamena as Twilight continues, "She caught me with this skinny little A'askavariian who worked in Nova Records." She lets go of her shirt, holding her arms out again, "I was trying to get information. You ever see an A'askavariian? They have tentacles and needles for teeth." She looks at Sunset, "Again, we were broken up at the time. Means nothing." Sunset rolls her eyes, still not looking at her as Twilight turns back to Applejack, saying to her and Sunset, "If you think I'm seriously interested in that, then..." Applejack turns her head and gives her a cold look. Twilight is taken back but recovers quickly and states the obvious, "You don't care."
Sunset interrupts Twilight before she can say anything else, "But here's the point." She points to Pinkamena, "She betrayed Sombra. He's coming back for her." Applejack glances at Pinkamena before looking back at the couple.
Twilight cuts in and tells Applejack, "And when he does, that's when you..." Twilight draws her right finger across her throat to indicate slicing Sombra's throat.
Applejack narrows her eyes, confused, and asks Twilight seriously, "Why would I put my finger on his throat?"
Sunset is taken aback by the weird question, "What?" She and Twilight exchange a look before confusingly looking back at Applejack, who is looking at them questioningly and seriously.
Twilight realizes that Applejack doesn't know what the finger across the throat means. Twilight explains this as by repeating the motion, "Oh, this is a symbol. This is a symbol for you slicing his throat."
Applejack says slowly and darkly, "I would not slice his throat. I would cut his head clean off."
Sunset quickly explains, "It's a general expression for you killing somebody."
Twilight turns her head to Sour Sweet and asks, as she draws her finger across her throat repeatedly, "You've heard of this. You've seen this, right? You know what that is."
Sour Sweet nods in agreement with a smile, "Yeah. Yeah."
Twilight looks back at Applejack, satisfied that Sour Sweet agrees with her, and Sunset, "Everyone knows."
Applejack looks at Sour Sweet with a slight glare, and Sour Sweet immediately shakes her head and frowns, "No, no."
Sunset shakes her head in annoyance while Twilight looks down and sighs in disappointment. Sunset gestures to herself and Twilight with her hand as she explains, "What we're saying is you want to keep her alive. Don't do his work for him." Twilight nods in agreement.
Applejack looks back at Pinkamena, debating for a couple of moments. Pinkamena looks at Sunset and Twilight, who both glance at her before looking back at Applejack, who then lets her go. Pinkamena drops down to the ground and coughs from lack of breath.
Applejack looks down at the knife in her hand and says to Sour Sweet, "I like your knife. I'm keeping it." Applejack walks off and leaves the room.
Sour Sweet looks down sadly, muttering, "That was my favorite knife."
Catwalk Hallway
Pinkamena, Sunset, and Twilight walk back to their cells; Pinkamena walks in front of Sunset and Twilight calmly and casually while Sunset tells Pinkamena, "Listen! I could care less whether you live or whether you die."
Pinkamena sharply turns to the couple, "Then why stop the blonde girl?"
Twilight and Sunset stop walking, and Twilight tells Pinkamena, "Simple." She points to herself and Sunset with her thumb, "You know where to sell our Orb." They're standing in front of Twilight's and Rainbow's cell.
Pinkamena smartly asks the obvious, "How are we gonna sell it when we and it are still here?"
Twilight smirks confidently and looks to her left, "My friend Rainbow, here,-" Pinkamena looks at Rainbow to her right as Sunset crosses her arms and leans forward a bit to look at Rainbow, "-has escaped 22 prisons."
Rainbow, leaning against the catwalk railing with her arms crossed, says confidently, "Oh, we're getting out." She looks at Sunset and Twilight, pointing at them, "And then we're headed straight to Tempest to retrieve your bounty."
Sunset asks Pinkamena, "How much was your buyer willing to pay for your Orb?"
Pinkamena straightens her head and takes a second before looking at Sunset, "Four billion units." Sunset's eyes widened in surprise.
Rainbow exclaims in surprise, "What?!"
Twilight comments in surprise and disbelief, "Holy shit."
Pinkamena looks down before looking at Sunset, "That Orb is my opportunity to get away from King Andrias and Sombra." Sunset looks at her in understanding, "If you free us,-" She looks at Rainbow, "I'll lead you to the buyer directly-" She looks at Twilight, "-and I'll split the profit between the four of us."
Suddenly, Fluttershy's voice says, "I am Flutter." Pinkamena, Sunset, and Twilight turn their heads to look at Fluttershy standing inside the cell, looking at them as she holds the bars.
Rainbow translates for Fluttershy, "Five of us." She tells them, "Asleep for the danger, awake for the money, as per frickin' usual." Fluttershy grunts in agreement.
Inside: The Dark Aster
Crystal Warship
The Other has contacted Sombra on his ship. Sombra stands in the middle, looking up at the hologram of The Other on the wall. Maud stands behind Sombra, a few feet from his left. The Other's voice informs Sombra, "You have been betrayed, Sombra."
Sombra says, "We know only that she has been captured." Maud looks down, bored and careless, "Pinkamena may yet recover the Orb."
The Other's voice exclaims, "No! Our sources within the Kyln say Pinkamena has her own plans for the Orb." With her head still lowered, Maud looks up at The Other when he mentions Pinkamena, "Your partnership with King Andrias is at risk." Sombra stares at The Other as he speaks, "King Andrias requires your presence. Now!" The hologram disappears, ending the conversation, and Sombra looks away in annoyance and a slight fear.
Space: SANCTUARY
DOMAIN OF KING ANDRIAS

Sombra meets King Andrias as requested. Sombra stands in the middle, The Other stands on his left, and Maud sits on a rock on his right. She is fixing her mechanical left forearm with a laser pen, and King Andrias is sitting on a massive chair made of rock, hovering in the air with his back to Sombra.
Sombra says to King Andrias, "With all due respect, King Andrias, your daughter made this mess, and yet you summon me."
The Other quickly tells Sombra, "I would lower my voice, King Sombra."
Sombra ignores The Other and continues, "First, she lost a battle with some primitive."
The Other tells Sombra, "King Andrias, put Pinkamena under your charge."
Sombra again ignores The Other, "Then she was apprehended by the Nova Corps."
The Other blames Sombra for Pinkamena's current situation, "You are the one here with nothing to show for it." Maud boredly looks up as she silently listens.
Sombra looks at The Other angrily and says, "Your sources say that she meant to betray us the whole time!"
The Other shouts and demands, "Lower your tone! I may be your-" Sombra tilts his hammer-like weapon and uses his shock wave power to twist and break The Other's neck, killing him.
Maud looks up with a straight face but is surprised. Sombra glares and watches The Other fall dead. Sombra looks up at King Andrias, who has not turned around. Maud nervously looks between Sombra and King Andrias.
Sombra confidently tells King Andrias, "I only ask that you take this matter seriously."
King Andrias turns in his massive hovering chair made of rock to face Sombra, telling him sternly, "The only matter I do not take seriously, boy, is you." Sombra bravely looks up at King Andrias, who faces him, still in the chair, "Your politics bore me. Your demeanor is that of a pouty child. And, apparently, you alienated my favorite daughter, Pinkamena." Maud shakes her head a bit, looks down, and sighs, upset at the mention that Pinkamena is King Andrias's favorite. King Andrias tells Sombra, his voice echoing in the silent air, "I shall honor our agreement, Sombra, if you bring me the Orb." King Andrias leans forward, saying sternly, "But return to me again empty-handed, and I will bathe the stairways in your blood." Sombra, looking nervous, shakes a bit before looking down.
Maud finishes working on her arm. She turns off the laser pen, and her arm closes. She casually stands up and says, "Thanks, Dad. Sounds fair." She walks to Sombra, saying, "This is one fight you won't win." She passes him, "Let's head to the Kyln." Sombra looks at Maud and then looks back at King Andrias before following Maud. King Andrias leans back in his chair and smiles darkly.
Next Day: The Kyln Prison
Inside: Cafeteria
Rainbow says as she, Twilight, Sunset, Pinkamena, and Fluttershy get their breakfast, "If we're gonna get out of here, we're gonna need to get into that watchtower. And to do that, I'm gonna need a few things." They follow Rainbow while holding their trays, "The guards wear security bands to control their ins and outs." They look up to see a guard putting a code on the security band on his arm, and the door to his right opens, "I need one."
Pinkamena, walking beside Sunset, looks up to the security guard, assuring Rainbow, "Leave it to me."
Rainbow sees and refers to the male prisoner with a prosthetic left leg, walking by them, "That dude, there. I need his prosthetic leg."
Twilight asks Rainbow in disbelief, "His leg?"
Rainbow holds in a chuckle, "Yeah." She mutters seriously, "God knows I don't need the rest of him. Look at him, he's useless." Twilight and Sunset share a confused look.
Twilight glances back at the prisoner before reluctantly agreeing, "Alright." They arrive at an empty table by the watchtower.
Rainbow tells them, "And finally, on the wall back there is a back panel." They set their trays down on the table, "Blinky yellow light. Do you see it?"
Twilight and Sunset turn their heads to look at what Rainbow is talking about as they all sit down; Rainbow sat at the head of the table with her back to the watchtower, Pinkamena and Sunset to Rainbow's right, Twilight on Rainbow's left across from Pinkamena with Fluttershy beside Twilight across from Sunset.
Twilight answers Rainbow, "Yeah."
Rainbow explains the black box with the yellow blinky light, "There's a quarnyx battery behind it. Purplish box, green wires. To get into that watchtower, I definitely need it." Fluttershy doesn't sit down. Instead, she walks towards the watchtower.
Sunset asks Rainbow, "How are we supposed to do that?"
Rainbow looks at Sunset, "Well, supposably, these bald-bodies find you attractive. So, maybe you can work out some sort of trade."
Sunset glares at Rainbow, "You must be joking."
Rainbow tells Sunset honestly, "No, I really heard they find you attractive."
Twilight does not like the rumor she just heard about her wife and goes back to the point, referring to the black-panel box containing the battery Rainbow wants, "Look, it's 20 feet up in the air, and it's in the middle of the most heavily guarded part of the prison. It's impossible to get up there without being seen." As Twilight is talking, Fluttershy stops in front of the watchtower.
Rainbow tells the three as Fluttershy grows her legs a bit to reach the black-panel box, "I got one plan, and that plan requires a frickin' quarnyx battery, so figure it out!" Applejack, holding her own tray, stops walking a few feet from Fluttershy, watching what she's doing.
