CatNap turned his head around to look at DogDay
"... You look relieved to see me..."said CatNap plainly
"OF COURSE I AM"said DogDay immediately hugging him
However despite having the purple cat in his arms he felt nothing, as if CatNap had been stripped from his body entirely. He didn't reciprocate the hug, he didn't wink an eye or even both pulling away
"Hey... Im sure whatever's going on we can sort it ou-"said DogDay
"You don't get it... do you?"said CatNap
"Get what?"said DogDay
"HOW MUCH OF A MONSTER I AM"yelled CatNap
"Hey hey, shhh lets just calm dow-"said DogDay
"NO, THE OLD ME IS DEAD! GET OVER IT... and who I am now... doesn't want love, forgiveness or even pity..."said CatNap looking back over the cliff
DogDay is on the verge of tears but he stands strong as he tries to diffuse the situation by just trying to get him to come home
"Well can this you come back home for me..."said DogDay
"No... not after what I did"said CatNap
"... Then Im'a stay here with you until you decide to come back"said DogDay
"By sunrise... I'll be at home"said CatNap
"What's that supposed to mean?"said DogDay
"You'll find out"said CatNap
"... Please CatNap... I don't care what you did"said DogDay
CatNap said nothing not even looking at the desperate toy
"What happened?"said DogDay
"... I should may as well tell you..."said CatNap
DogDay tilted his head in curiosity
"... I... was... in the kitchen... there was this monster creeping up behind me..."said CatNap

CatNap nods
"But our home doesn't have any monsters..."said DogDay
"Only I can see or hear him"said CatNap
DogDay felt a shiver shoot up his spine
"CatNap... are you okay?"said DogDay

"Sigh, yeah I know"said DogDay
"All I am anymore is tired... at first I was angry at Player for saving me, then I was just angry with myself but then the depression hit and I didn't even have enough energy to be angry anymore... and then the depression became too much and now Im too tired to feel much of anything, only thing Im forced to feel is fear and rejection... because thats when the monsters around"said CatNap
"... You're still there CatNap... you're just tired"said DogDay
"I don't wanna be there... I don't wanna be here... I haven't earned it or did anything to deserve it"said CatNap
"You can earn it now by coming home... facing whatever you did..."said DogDay
"Its hard when I slit Bobby's throat!"CatNap snapped
DogDay immediately flinched and trembled while tearing up
"Y... you did what?!..."DogDay quivered
CatNap started crying as well
"I didn't mean to... I just want to kill the monster, I took the knife and slashed at it but Bobby was there! I DIDN'T MEAN TO"yelled CatNap feeling the river run down his face destroying all the walls he built around his feelings, contradicting CatNaps departure
"CatNap..."said DogDay
"JUST SAY IT, SAY I'LL NEVER CHANGE, TELL ME YOU DON'T KNOW WHO I AM ANYMORE, TELL ME YOU'RE LEAVING, JUST TELL ME THE THINGS I DON'T WANNA HEAR"yelled CatNap
DogDay leans into him crying
"I don't want to anymore, I don't want history repeating itself"said DogDay
CatNap was shaking, destroyed between wanting to push DogDay or letting him back in
"I don't care if you slit my damn throat! I still love you Moon and if I lose you again I'll lose my mind too! You aren't dead because you're crying, you aren't dead, I can't lose you again... we aren't there anymore"said DogDay
"IM STILL CAPTURED... I WANT OUT"yelled CatNap
"I KNOW DAMMIT BUT YOU WON'T LET ME HELP YOU LEAVE"yelled DogDay soaking the cats matted blood stained fur
CatNap stays silent letting DogDay cry, every sob brought back some piece of who he was
"Only time anyone wanted me they just wanted to hurt me..."said CatNap
DogDay nods
"Yeah... I know..."DogDay sniffled
CatNap looks back at the sky and the orange orb slow started rising shading the sky in hues of red, pink, orange and yellow in gorgeous fashion
"Sunrise is beautiful... I'll miss seeing it... it was the closest I ever got to freedom"CatNap says standing up against the edge of the cliff turning towards DogDay
"Sunshine..."said CatNap
DogDay looked at him shaking slightly
"You were the only one who made me believe I could escape... I finally found hope... even if it didn't last long"said CatNap lifting the sharp rock up to his neck
DogDay immediately stood up gob smacked
"WAIT CatNap! CatNap! You don't have to do that!"DogDay yelled panicking
"I thought I'd feel free... I haven't, Im still stuck"said CatNap
"THEN I'LL RUN BACK FOR YOU... I'LL PULL YOU OUT JUST DON'T DO THIS PLEASE, IF I DON'T HAVE YOU I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING, YOU'RE MY OTHER HALF REMEMBER! YOU'RE MY MOON!"yelled DogDay
CatNap's grip on the rock loosened
"ALL YOUR DEATH'LL DO IS HURT US MORE, IT'LL RUIN ME FURTHER, SEEING YOU ALIVE WITH ME HELPS ME FORGET ALL THE PAIN PLEASE I DON'T WANNA LOSE YOU AGAIN"yelled DogDay
"Im scared DogDay"said CatNap shaking
"So am I... so don't let me be scared alone... I wanna be scared with you... please... you don't know how much you mean to me..."said DogDay
"... I can't keep acting like The Prototypes gone..."said CatNap
"... Then don't... open up to me... let me keep you close to me, away from him... I just wanna protect you... that all I wanted to do please Moon... you make me feel free"said DogDay tearing up whilst reaching his hand out for the jagged rock
CatNap drops the rock getting on his knees while letting an onslaught fall from his orbs
"I just wanted freedom... I just wanted someone to show me a way out... someone who loves me"said CatNap
DogDay immediately wraps his arms around him pressing his head into his chest
"I'll show you the way out... and I do love you Moon... I love you... do you believe me?"said DogDay
"... Yes... I don't know why you still love me but yes..."said CatNap
DogDay sobs against CatNap in sheer bliss
"Good... then in that case... DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN, IDIOT"DogDay yelled
"Okay... Im sorry Sunshine"said CatNap
"Shhhhh its okay... lets just go home... you're pretty beat up"said DogDay
CatNap giggles slightly and sniffles standing up, wiping away his tears
"Yeah... you promise you'll stay by me when I have to face everyone?"said CatNap
"Of course... I won't let anyone hurt you"said DogDay hugging him
CatNap hugged back
"Can we stay for a bit... I wanna enjoy the sunrise..."said CatNap
"Of course Moon... whatever you want"said DogDay holding the battered cat as they both watch the sunrise
"You should've done it, I won't leave"
