Chapter 9—The Closing Of One Chapter

Bella's POV
Fred just closed the gates on the store for the last time and handed the keys over to the mall manager. His boss was in earlier to supervise the last of the move out with all of the counters and such. Fred had packed up what was his office and I and Charlie loaded it up in the car.
"Well, that is it," Fred said.
"I am sorry that it had to be this way," The manager said.
"Yeah," Fred said.
"You okay, honey?" Casey said.
"Yeah," Fred said.
"This is depressing, in a week it will be something really depressing," Charlie said.
"Yeah, like a Baby Gap," I said. I saw Casey holding herself around her middle a couple of times today. She was holding herself as we were saying goodbye to the store. Almost as if she were… Nah she couldn't be.
"Well onto bigger and better things, right Casey?" Fred said.
"Yeah, come on kids, let's go home," Casey said.
