Once again, Deku drove down to the Todoroki abode, mainly because Todoroki had invited him over for supper. While he still hadn't gotten over the shock of finding out they were actually distant cousins, he figured that as long as they weren't first cousins, then they were still good in regards to their relationship. Besides, they'd come too far in their relationship to break things off now. After parking his Caprice behind her Oldsmobile, he shut the engine off and got out. Once he took his shoes off and got to the door…

"DEKU!"

Once again, Todoroki gave Deku a big hug and kiss. Even if it was something he'd experienced many times over, it never got any older to him. Every time he felt her soft, warm cuddly body against his as well as those sensual lips of hers, he just wanted to melt. Granted, it didn't last exceedingly long, but for him, it was long enough.

"You're just in time, honey!" said Todoroki. "I'm almost finished cooking our food!"

Deku followed Todoroki into the dining room and sat down. Eventually, she came out with their usual food, katsudon for him and zaru soba for her.

"Thank you, Shoko!"

"You're welcome, lover!"

Deku grabbed his chopsticks and ate. Upon taking the first bite, though, he noticed something unusual:

"This doesn't taste like my usual katsudon. What's up with it?"

Todoroki smiled. "Oh, I thought I'd surprise you! I made you oyako katsudon instead of the usual!"

Deku curiously eyed the piece of meat in his chopsticks. He hadn't expected her to make katsudon with chicken in place of his usual pork, but he gave his response thusly:

"To be honest, I much prefer pork, but I'm actually glad you did this for me because it's nice to switch it up every now and then. Since you did this for me, I should make you a different variety of soba sometime.

Todoroki smiled. "Well, like you, I say nothing can compete with my usual zaru soba, but I'm curious as to what you had in mind."

"Well…I was actually looking up random recipes for soba, and I found this one variety called 'shinshu soba'."

Todoroki got a more serious look on her face. "Oh? Never heard of that variety before."

"It originates from Nagano. Only noodles with 40% or more buckwheat flour in them may carry the 'shinshu soba' name."

Todoroki smiled. "Sounds fascinating! I think I'd like to try it someday!"

Deku swallowed a piece of chicken. "Considering I enjoy whenever you make zaru soba for me, we'll definitely have to try it someday."

"And this is one of the things I love about being in a relationship: sharing food with each other."

"I know, right?" Deku stroked his chin. "Come to think of it, I wonder what other kinds of katsu exist…"

"Actually, I also read about gyukatsu, which is katsu made with beef in place of pork."

Deku nodded. "Never tried that, but it could be interesting."

"Indeed."

Deku and Todoroki continued to eat, eagerly awaiting whatever culinary adventures would come next.
