Legacies and Lightning: Chapter 17
Land of Lightning; 4 days after leaving Konoha: With Naruto, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo
Naruto, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo were all walking through a mountain pass as they and their large group of genin and jonin made their way to Kumo; so far the trip has been uneventful as they were not attacked. Considering that there was the Hokage, 12 jonin and 32 genin it would not be smart to attack them.
Naruto felt his blood begin to pump as he and his team continued to walk along the path "we have to be close by now; I can feel it" Naruto said as he marched ahead. Kurenai looking at him smiled and nodded.
"I believe it's a few miles ahead according to the map" Kurenai said before she heard huffing and puffing; Kurenai turned around and saw both Anko and Yakumo looking exhausted "what's wrong with you two?"
"The air is so damn thin" Anko said breathing a little hard "I've never been in the mountains before".
"This is quite unpleasant" Yakumo said and Kurenai and Naruto sweat dropped.
"Huh? Really?" Naruto asked as he breathed in "I feel fine".
"Probably because you're more of a physical fighter than Yakumo" Kurenai said "I on the other hand actually have experience in mountain environments so I'm probably better suited to this than Anko".
As the group continued walking Hiruzen spoke up and "there it is, Kumogakure" Hiruzen said loud enough for everyone to hear; as Naruto and his group crested the hill they saw Kumo from a distance.
Kumo was built into the mountains with building being built into the tops of them and dozens of stairs on the outside and presumably more on the inside; in between the mountains there were bridges connecting them for people to go across.
"Holy crap" Naruto said in awe "they built their village into the mountains".
"Wow, I wonder how they did that?" Yakumo said amazed at their ingenuity of Kumo.
"Come on you two; stay focused and lets get there" Anko said "and we can finally take a damn break; I'm beat".
Kurenai sweat dropped at this 'you're a jonin and your complaining about being tired' Kurenai thought shaking her head 'Kami help us all'.
(1 hour later) In the Raikage tower's assembly hall: With Naruto and the others
Naruto, his team and every other Konoha ninja were in a large assembly hall looking at a podium waiting for the Raikage to come in; there were several Kumo ninja standing around, mostly the chunin and genin who helped them process their documents.
Naruto looked around trying to see if he can find Yuui or Uzui 'man where are they? I really hoped they'd be here' he thought.
Before he could do anything the doors to the room opened up and a large dark skinned man walked in; Naruto recognized him as Yuui's dad A, or at least he thinks that's his name since he only met him for a minute.
A walked up to the podium and spoke "Greetings and welcome to Kumo; I'm not big on ceremony so I'll keep this short" he said looking out at the crowd "we welcome you here as guests of Kumo for the chunin exams; I hope this will help our villages unite and mend old wounds".
Neji hearing this scoffed 'nothing can make me forgive you for what you're village did to my father' he thought in anger; Guy seeing the sneer on Neji's face put his hand on his shoulder in case he was planning on doing something rash.
"With that being said all I have to say is enjoy Kumo to the fullest extent; and please respect the locals" A said looking around "as you can expect tensions are high and a lot of them haven't forgotten the war".
Hiruzen walked onto the platform and stood next to A and spoke "I will not allow any kind of debauchery or any bad behavior among you; if you mess up here, you'll be under Kumo's watch and will be punished by them" he said. "We are guests in this village and you'll behave accordingly" Hiruzen said with finality "is that clear?"
"Yes Lord Hokage" everyone said and Hiruzen nodded.
"Very well then, you all got your quarters for where you'll be staying; the exams are in ten days, don't be late" Hiruzen said and everyone nodded "dismissed".
Naruto, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo all stood there for a second as everyone around them began to move about; Naruto looked to the platform and saw A was about to leave. He was about to start walking over to ask him about Yuui when someone spoke up.
"Hey loser" Sasuke said making Naruto turn around and look at him; Sasuke, Sakura and Sai were all there looking.
"Not now Sasuke; I'm busy" Naruto said as he began to walk away and Sakura spoke up.
"Hey don't walk away from us" Sakura said.
"Watch me" Naruto said flipping her off and continuing forward trying to get to A.
"Hey Naruto" came a voice and Naruto looked to his side and saw Shikamaru walking up with Ino and Choji beside him "haven't seen you in a while".
"And now you're going to not see me again; I have someone to talk to" Naruto said cutting him off as he began walking again 'geez, all of a sudden they want to talk to me; why now of all times?'
"Naruto my youthful friend" Lee said as he, Tenten and Neji walked up "how are you doing today".
"Sorry Lee I'm in a rush; I need to go" Naruto said to Lee who understood; Naruto looked around and no longer saw A "aw crap where'd he go".
"Who?" Lee asked and Naruto spoke.
"The Raikage; I need to ask about Yuui" Naruto said and Ino scoffed.
"Oh please, like the Raikage has the time to talk to a street urchin like you" Ino said jabbing at Naruto "he'd probably talk to Sasuke, but not some clan less orphan". Naruto looked at Ino his patience reaching it's breaking point and he began to fume.
"You know what Yamanka" Naruto said walking up to her.
'Oh shit' Anko thought as she walked forward ready to stop Naruto if he starts a fight.
"How about you take Sasuke's dick out your mouth and sew it shut" Naruto said making everyone go wide eyed "because I don't have time for your annoying bullshit right now".
Hinata, Shino and Kiba just walked up as Naruto said this; Hinata hasn't seen Naruto in years and now he was pretty angry from Ino comment. "U-ummm… maybe I should wait until he's calmed down" Hinata said quietly and Kiba looked at her.
"Oh what?" Kiba said not believing what he was hearing "you're the one who wanted to talk to him; all of a sudden you had a change of heart?"; Hinata merely poked her fingers together trying to gain the courage to talk to Naruto.
"What the hell did you say to me" Ino shouted at Naruto who was beginning to lose his cool.
"I said, for you shut the fuc-" Naruto began but was stopped before he could finish as a blur flashed by and grabbed him; everyone was looking around until they spotted someone holding Naruto several feet away.
"NARUTO! I FOUND YOU" cheered a girl as she was literally lifting Naruto off the ground; Naruto was stunned for a moment until he recognized the voice.
"YUUI" Naruto cheered back as Yuui put him down; Naruto shook his head and looked at her "oh my god I was just about to- holy crap"; Naruto and the others all got a look at Yuui and were stunned. Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo in particular were especially stunned; they all looked at Yuui from the picture Naruto had and they couldn't believe this was the same girl.
Yuui stood at 6 feet 2 inches tall, towering above Naruto who was at 5 feet 1 inches after a recent growth spurt; Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo all saw from the picture that she was maybe 5 feet tall 4 years ago. Another thing that surprised them was how muscular she was; she had an athletic body with muscular arms and legs but with a shapely figure and perfectly toned abs. Her face wasn't nothing to scoff at either as her tan skin was smooth and flawless, along with that she had no fat in her cheeks and had a heart shaped face; she also wore no makeup at all except for what appeared to be chap stick. Lastly the big thing that popped out to Anko, Kurenai, Yakumo, Hinata, Tenten, Ino and Sakura was her large breasts that had to be at least double D's pushing triple D's.
Yuui's blonde hair was no longer short as it now was in a pony tail running down her back to her tail bone; her cloths consisted of tight mid thigh shorts, fishnet armor covering her legs until they reached her ankles where she wore white sandals. Yuui also wore another layer of fishnets covering her from her neck to her waist and grey turtle neck long sleeve high shirt that was cut to exposed her midsection. Lastly she had a belt that held her holsters, pouches and a tanto on her right side, the other white glove on her left hand and her Kumo forehead protector tied around her forehead.
"Holy crap Yuui… look at you" Naruto said wide eyed "you let your hair grow!"
Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo all face faulted upon hearing this and when they got back up Kurenai looked at him and spoke "her hair?" Kurenai shouted as she got up and began walking over "that's not even the main issue here". She stopped next to Naruto and dug the picture out of his pocket and looked at it; Anko and Yakumo rushed over and did the same.
All 3 women looked at the picture before looking back at Yuui who just stood there smiling.
"Are you really this girl in the picture?" Anko said as she turned to picture and showed it to Yuui.
"Oh my gosh Naruto; look at how small you used to be" Yuui said pointing at the picture.
"H-h-how did you grow so tall?" Anko asked "you look like your five feet tall in this picture."
"Oh that" Yuui said waving it off "I just had a little growth spurt is all".
"You call turning from a little girl to a six foot tall muscle mommy a 'little growth spurt'?" Anko asked and Yuui scoffed.
"No… I happen to be six foot two" Yuui said making everyone sweat drop.
"Oh my god Yuui, it's been so long" Naruto said not caring how much Yuui has changed "I've been waiting for this day for forever"; Yuui looked at him and smiled and Naruto walked over to his team. "Yuui, these are my teammates" Naruto said as he began his introductions "this is my sensei Anko".
"'Sup" Anko said giving her a smile and a wave.
"Woah you look cool" Yuui said and Anko chuckled "love the trench coat and fish nets; it totally gives you a fierce but sexy look".
"That's exactly what I go for" Anko said giving her a wink; Naruto continued the introductions.
"This is Kurenai sensei; she's Yakumo's sensei but is more or less my unofficial second sensei" Naruto said introducing Kurenai who bowed.
"Hello Yuui, it's nice to finally meet you" Kurenai said before rising up and giving her a smile.
"Oh wow, you're so pretty" Yuui said and Kurenai blushed "you give off like a lady vampire vibe; you like use your beauty to catch people off guard then strike them".
"Well genjutsu is my specialty" Kurenai said with a smile "but I always thought of myself more as a rose; beauty but with thorns"; Yuui nodded and Naruto went to the last one.
"And this is Yakumo, my unofficial teammate" Naruto said introducing Yakumo "she's one of my best friends from Konoha; Lee and Tenten over there are second and third"; Naruto pointed over to team guy and both Lee and Tenten gave a polite wave.
"Well it's nice to meet you Yakumo; any friend of Naruto is a friend of mine" Yuui said reaching down and scooping her up in a hug "welcome to Kumo".
Yakumo was wide eyed at how easily Yuui lifted her up; Yuui then put her back down and Yakumo spoke.
"N-nice to meet you too Ms.Yuui" Yakumo said before asking a question "Um… I just have to ask; when you picked me up just now, did I weigh anything to you?".
"Nah, you're pretty light" Yuui said with a smile "although I can squat three fifty without using chakra".
Naruto was about to speak but was cut off "hey, who the heck are you?" Sakura shouted gaining Yuui's attention before pointing at Naruto "and how do you know that dumbass?"
Yuui hearing this lost her friendly demeanor and turned to Sakura and crossed her arms " the name's Yuui; me and Naruto are old friends" Yuui said "and who are you?"
"Sakura Haruno" Sakura said confidently "well then 'Yuui', you might want to stay away from that idiot; you'll only get trouble when hanging out with him".
"Oh is that so" Yuui said "well who do you think you are to tell me what to do?"; Yuui clenched her left fist and white lightning began to crackle off her knuckles. Yuui got a smirk and spoke "you want to fight pinkie; I'm always ready to throw down" she said; Sakura hearing this felt like she was in danger as she may have over stepped.
"Hey you can't threaten her like that bitch" Ino shouted at Yuui "who the hell do you think you are?"; Naruto hearing this got a little smile on his face.
'Oh boy this is gonna be good' Naruto thought.
"I'll tell you who I am bimbo" Yuui said making Ino fume "I'm the only child of the Raikage; and future heir to the Raikage title"; upon hearing this everyone felt their stomachs drop at the revelation. "And believe me when I say this" Yuui said her voice getting dangerous "I can have your dumbasses kicked out of the chunin exams and out of Kumo faster than you can blink; this is my village". "So unless you want to leave Kumo on a stretcher, you better watch your mouth" Yuui warned; suddenly there was a hand on her arm and Yuui turned to see Naruto there holding her back.
"Nah, don't do that; ignore them" Naruto said looking at the slightly cowering Ino "no reason to be that petty"; Yuui hearing this turned off her lightning and spoke up.
"Come on Naruto; lets go and meet my team" Yuui said before looking at Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo "you guys wanna come too?"
"Hell yeah" Anko said with both Kurenai and Yakumo nodding.
Yuui began to lead them all away and Naruto walking beside her "things in Konoha still suck for you?" Yuui asked and Naruto let out a sigh.
"Yeah" Naruto said before looking behind him at his team; Naruto got a smile on his face and spoke "luckily I'm not alone though".
Yuui smiled at this as she's been worried about that for years "glad to hear it" Yuui said as they all walked out the doors and away from the other Konoha ninja "well then, time to show you the sites".
Other side of Kumo: With Naruto, Yuui, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo
Naruto and his team were all following Yuui through the village as they made their way to meet her team; as they walked through the mountains and across the bridges connecting them Naruto and the others couldn't help but over here the whispers from the civilians and shinobi around them.
"What is Lady Yuui doing with those Konoha ninja?" "why is she walking next to that blonde boy?" "Do they know each other or something?" The people whispered; Naruto didn't look at them but on the inside he was a little happy.
'Wow, for the first time ever I'm walking down a street and people are whispering things that aren't malicious or death threats' Naruto thought as he walked beside Yuui; Yuui looking over to Naruto smiled and spoke.
"So Naruto tell me what have you been up to since I left Konoha?" Yuui asked and Naruto looked at her "did you're life get easier or what?"
Naruto gave her a weak smile and rubbed the back of his head "well…" Naruto said "I graduated the year after you left, almost got assassinated that night by my former teacher, almost got killed by Anko there, also almost got killed by Yakumo when a demon in her head escaped and up until seven months ago I never completed a C-rank mission". Yuui went wide eyed at this and her jaw dropped.
"Seriously?" Yuui asked and she spun and looked at Anko and Yakumo "You two almost killed him?"
Anko rubbed the back of her head "yeah… that wasn't my best moment" she said.
"I didn't mean for my Ido to get loose" Yakumo said poking her fingers together bashfully; the group entered into another mountain continuing the conversation.
"It's amazing, I'm the only one here who hasn't almost killed Naruto" Kurenai said looking at her student and friend respectively "and I don't intend to try".
"Oh and here this Yuui; you know how I'm an orphan right?" Naruto asked and Yuui nodded "well I got a letter from my dead mother and apparently there were two people who were supposed to take care of me; a jonin by the name of Kakashi and some guy named Jiraya".
"You're joking?" Yuui said floored by this "what happened with that; did you talk to them?"
"Well when i found out about Kakashi I told him off, said I hated him and I never want to see him again" Naruto said before rubbing the back of his head "that was years ago and now things are different". "I mean… I still have some resentment; but I'm wondering if I should just bury the hatchet with him" Naruto said "I mean he, unlike this Jiraya guy actually made an attempt to be there; even though it was late as hell".
Yuui hearing this nodded and patted Naruto's shoulder "it's not my place to say, but you might want to hear him out" Yuui said and Naruto nodded "sometimes you gotta be the bigger person you know".
"Yeah I get it" Naruto said looking down; Yuui then slapped his back nearly making him stumble.
"Hey dude, no being sad here; this a positive vibes only zone" Yuui said trying to cheer him up "we're two friends who reunited after nearly five years apart; lets have some fun".
"You're right" Naruto said as he continued walking with Yuui; Anko and the others only smiled at the conversation between them, they both talk like they've never been apart.
After walking for a few more minutes Yuui led the group to an arcade/restaurant "this is my teams hangout; they're here waiting for me to bring you guys" Yuui said as she led them inside.
A elderly man looked at Yuui and spoke "Lady Yuui; how are you today" he said and Yuui spoke.
"Oh come on pops, you known me for years; just call me Yuui" Yuui said and the old man chuckled.
"Sorry, just a force of habit" the old man said before looking at her company "hello there, welcome to my arcade; please have some coins for games and a coupon for food, any friends do Yuui is welcome here". "Oh and Yuui dear; your mother is here at the usual table" he said and Naruto went wide eyed.
"Ms. Uzui is here; what are we waiting for?" Naruto said excitedly and Yuui motioned for them to follow her.
They walked through the parlor until they found a large table near the back and there were 4 people sitting at the table; one was a large muscular dark skinned man, a petite dark skinned girl and a blonde haired girl who looked around their age.
Naruto's eyes however landed on Uzui who was drinking a soda at the table "Ms. Uzui, is that you?" Naruto spoke up gaining the entire tables attention; Uzui looked over and jumped from her seat and hurried over.
"Oh my goodness Naruto" Uzui squealed as she opened her arms and gave him a big hug; Uzui then gave him a kiss on the cheek and began to nuzzle him "look at you, you gotten so big".
"Good to see you to Ms.Uzui; you haven't aged a day" Naruto said and Uzui broke the hug and Naruto saw the large dark skinned man walking over.
"Hey kid, been a while; seen you grown up a little" the man said and Naruto went wide eyed; Naruto recognized the voice and the speech pattern.
"Doki; is that you?" Naruto asked and the man nodded.
"That's my anbu name; my real name is Tonoi" Tonoi said crossing his arms "had to keep my real name a secret; couldn't have my enemies knowing who i really was, can you dig it?"
"Holy crap I see your face for the first time and you have a mustache" Naruto said and Tonoi nodded.
"Damn right I do; no one ever touches my 'stache except for my bitches" Tonoi said before getting a slap on the back of the head by Uzui.
"Tonoi" Uzui said chastising the man.
"Sorry" Tonoi said rubbing his head "I mean was chicks I pick up and bars and take home to bang"; Uzui groaned and Tonoi chuckled.
Anko walked up and spoke "so you're 'Doki' huh?" Anko said looking at him and he looked back "names Anko, I'm a jonin and Naruto's sensei"; she extended her hand and Tonoi took it and shook it.
"Pleasures mine; and if I may say you look like a dangerous bitch… are you a dangerous bitch" Tonoi said with a smirk and Anko got a smirk of her own.
"Trust me Mr.beef cake; I'm not a push over" Anko said "maybe later I we can spar; can you dig it?"; Tonoi chuckled as they broke the shake.
"Sure thing baby; I'm always ready to rumble" Tonoi said.
Yuui smiled as she walked over and grabbed her two friends and walked them back over to the group "Naruto, these are my two teammates" Yuui said as she pointed at the petite girl first. "This lovely lady is my BFF Mayui" Yuui said introducing her and Mayui waved before going to the blonde girl "and this short stack here is my teammate Koyoi".
"Hey, what's up; you're Naruto huh?" Mayui asked and Naruto nodded "nice to meet ya, I'm Mayui"; Mayui was a petite girl slightly below Kurenai's height, standing at 5 feet 5 inches with short cut wavy brown hair and dark skin that was a few shades darker than Yuui but still lighter than Tonoi. She had small breasts, slender waist and shapely hips showing that her legs and lower body had most of her strength; she wore a white gi top with a red black shirt underneath, grey gi pants, black sandals and a red sash acting as a belt. She wore her Kumo forehead protected on her left arm and did not have any weapon pouches on her at all which Anko and Kurenai picked up on.
'She must be a close combat type' Kurenai thought 'but why no weapons; even Lee and Guy carry shuriken and kunai?"
"Hello there cutie; I'm Koyoi" Koyoi said in a soft and elegant voice while blushing and hiding her face as she waved at Naruto and Naruto blushed in return; Koyoi was the shortest of the group standing at only 5 foot 2 inches and had milky white skin, shoulder length blonde hair hidden in a hoodie and green eyes. Koyoi wore a dark pink hoodie with what looked like a clan symbol on the left chest, black short shorts that ended mid thigh and had bandaged wrapped around her legs until they reached her white sandals. Koyoi had kunai and shuriken pouches sewn into the sides of the hoodie and had a Katana on the back as well; lastly Koyoi wore a Kumo forehead protector around her neck.
"Nice to meet you Mayui, Koyoi" Naruto said with a smile "you both seem like lovely ladies"; upon saying that Yuui, Mayui and Tonoi all began to chuckle at Naruto's comment. "What… what did I say?" Naruto asked and Koyoi looked at Naruto.
"No silly, I'm not a girl; I'm a boy" Koyoi said and Naruto, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo's jaw dropped.
"WHAT!?" Kurenai shouted in surprise and Koyoi began to giggle like a school girl "then why are you wearing obviously girl clothes?"
"Because they look super cute don't they" Koyoi said doing a little twirl "I didn't like boy cloths that much so I started wearing girl clothes because they make me feel pretty".
"Woah… what is up with all the femboys" Anko said gaining their attention "we ran into another ninja named Haku not that long ago and I'm not gonna lie, he had nicer hair than me and the other girls".
"Wait… when you called me cutie; did you mean it" Naruto asked and Koyoi looked at him and nodded.
"Yeah; I like both boys and girls" Koyoi said before looking at Kurenai "keep that in mind while you're here beautiful"; Koyoi gave Kurenai a wink and Kurenai blushed.
"Ummm… I'm already dating someone " Kurenai said before smiling "but thank you for the complement". 'I mean… if I wasn't dating Asuma' Kurenai thought before looking at Koyoi 'it would be nice to have a partner to go to the spa with'.
'I have never been more sexually confused in my life; but I'm like ninety nine point nine nine percent sure I like women' Naruto thought trying to clear his head.
"Ok, now with that out of the way lets go and play" Yuui said gaining all their attention "how about kunai tag and we make jumbled teams".
"Sure" Naruto said.
"Sounds great" Yakumo said; Koyoi trotted over and wrapped his arms around them both.
"I call being on their team" Koyoi chirped as he got close to the both of them.
Koyoi's scent hit both Naruto and Yakumo and they both looked at him 'why does he smell so nice?' They thought.
2 hours later; at the table
Naruto and the others were all eating pizza, wings and other foods at the table and chatting amongst themselves "- So I used the static strings to grab the senbon and hit him from behind; after that I took the sword and had it ever since" Naruto said retelling how he killed Aoi and got the 'Sword of the Thunder God'.
"Wow, that's so cool" Yuui said before biting down on her pizza "you should really get some lessons on how to use it; could be very helpful".
"I'm trying; I just haven't found the right teacher yet" Naruto said sipping his soda "but I prefer my shuriken; I used and trained them longer, the sword is my last resort".
"Good idea kid" Tonoi said gaining his attention "a sword is a good weapon, but it takes years to master; good thing you didn't ditch your other weapons once you got it".
Naruto nodded and looked to Yuui "so Yuui, you're seventeen right?" Naruto asked and Yuui nodded "why aren't you a chunin yet?"
Yuui's team stopped cold when Naruto said that and Yuui began to shake before looking at Naruto; Naruto was afraid he pissed her off but Yuui looked at him with anime tears running down her face.
"It's not my fault damn it; I just have bad luck" Yuui whimpered out and Uzui put her hand on her daughters shoulder.
"What happened?" Yakumo asked and Uzui looked a t Tonoi who looked away.
"First time this jackass and my husband mixed up the dates by two days and they were disqualified before even getting to Iwa" Uzui said and Naruto and his team looked at Tonoi.
"Yeah uh… my bad" Tonoi said 'the damn six looked like and eight to me'.
"The second time we entered we went out to celebrate and eat" Mayui said speaking up "next thing you know Yuui and Koyoi were wrecking a bathroom due to food poisoning".
"Oh god" Anko said "how bad was it?"
"I was in the hospital for four days due to dehydration" Koyoi said "Yuui here couldn't leave the mansion because her father was freaking out".
"And the third time?" Kurenai asked hoping it wasn't that bad.
"Oh… now that one was the worst" Tonoi said as he looked at "so we got to Taki right and we passed through the gates and got to the hotel". "When we stayed there for maybe two days before I found this little shit in the bedroom with four jonin sensei from different villages" Tonoi said as he pointed at Mayui who blushed and stuck out her tongue.
"Yeah… uh… turns out sleeping with one jonin is illegal; and with four it was four times as illegal" Mayui said; Naruto, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo's jaw dropped.
"You got disqualified because you had an orgy" Kurenai said not believing what she just heard and Mayui blushed.
"Yeah… totally worth it though" Mayui said with a chuckle.
"NICE" Anko shouted before leaning over the table and holding out her hand "give me five girlfriend"; Mayui leaned over and she gave Anko a high five and the entire table sweat dropped.
"Anko" Kurenai said disgusted.
"We got disqualified because she couldn't keep her damn legs closed" Tonoi said and Mayui shrugged.
"Hey, sex and violence is what I live for" Mayui said "besides you banged multiple chicks before at the same time".
"Not on an important mission you dumbass!" Tonoi shouted.
"So wait, this is your first actual chunin exam?" Naruto asked and Yuui nodded
"Yes it is; also it's an important diplomatic opportunity too" Yuui said and Naruto cocked an eyebrow.
"Huh; how so" Naruto asked and Uzui spoke up.
"Yuui here is going to in a political marriage" Uzui said Naruto and his team "Kumo is using this chunin exam to vet clan heirs and other important genin in order to find her a suitable candidate".
"I don't want to marry some random douche" Yuui said "I want to marry for love and strengthen Kumo by making an alliance". "In fact several suitors came from Konoha with you guys; and I'm supposed to go on a date with all them before the chunin exams begin" Yuui said and Naruto spoke.
"Oh yeah; who you going to meet?" Naruto asked curiously and Yuui pulled out a list from her pocket.
"Ummm lets see here" Yakumo said looking at the list "Sasuke Uchiha-".
"Oh god, that prick; seriously" Naruto groaned out loud.
"Jeez you got him?" Anko said slightly disgusted "my condolences".
"What; what's wrong with the Uchiha?" Uzui asked "from what I hear he's handsome, rich, from a famous clan-".
"He's arrogant and narcissistic" Anko said cutting her off.
"He doesn't play well with others and he's mean" Yakumo said poking her fingers.
"He tried to take my sword and attacked me from behind with a full powered fire jutsu" Naruto said and Yuui, Uzui, Tonoi, Mayui and Koyoi went wide eyed.
"What!?" Yuui shouted and Kurenai spoke up.
"He attacked Naruto after a friendly sparring match out of spite" Kurenai said; Yuui took out a pen and began to scribble out his name.
"Ok, that's a hard Fuck No" Yuui said "thanks for telling me"; Yuui then looked at the list and continued. "Ok we also have Shikamaru Nara" Yuui said.
"He's a lazy bastard" Naruto said.
"Shino Aburame?" Yuui asked.
"He's super quiet and kind weird but seems like a good guy" Naruto said honestly.
"Kiba Inuzuka?" Yuui asked and Naruto groaned.
"An asshole who thinks he's top dog" Naruto said "I kicked his ass to pass the graduation exam".
"Neji Hyuga?" Yuui asked.
"Almost as big of an prick as Sasuke but with six foot long gilded stick up his ass" Naruto said "also his dad was the Hyuga who died for the kidnap attempt ten years ago".
"Oh shit" Yuui said as she crossed his name off too; "Choji Akimichi?" Yuui asked hopeful as her list was getting shorter and shorter by the minute.
"Ok now he's a definite good guy" Naruto said "he's a nice dude, one of the few who never hated me; he's also fat but unless that's a deal breaker you should be fine with him". "And as a bonus his family owns restaurants and they're pretty good" Naruto said before he pulled out a Akimichi food card with 8 out of 10 stamps punched "two more meals and I get half off and a free appetizer".
"Ok then; good to know" Yuui said glad to hear some good news "I'll put a star by him as a maybe". "Thanks for giving me the heads up; it's better than walking in blind" Yuui said and Naruto nodded.
"Hey, you're my friend; I won't let you date some asshole who'll make you miserable" Naruto said "I'm doing the same thing for Yakumo here so she can get with Lee".
"I think we're making good progress" Yakumo said to Yuui "we like to exercise together and he helps me on my taijutsu".
"Good for you" Yuui said before looking at Naruto "now that is being a real friend"; Naruto smiled and rubbed the back of his head. "Well tomorrow is when I'll meet the first one for a date" Yuui said putting up her list "I never been on one so I might need some help with it".
"I can give you some pointers" Anko said speaking up "I've dated my fair share; I can help you".
"So can I" Kurenai said "I'm good at small talk; I can help you break the ice".
"That would be awesome" Yuui said before looking at Naruto "but… I really don't wanna just leave Naruto alone during the day; we just reunited".
"It's ok Yuui" Tonoi said and she looked at him "me, Mayui and Koyoi can hang out with him until you get done".
"Hell yeah we can" Mayui said with a smile.
"It would be fun for me to be able to hang out with another boy for once" Koyoi said and Naruto smiled.
"Thanks guys; that sounds awesome" Naruto said and they all nodded.
"Well if I'm lucky I could be done with these four dates in like four days" Yuui said "unless the other three arrive"; Yakumo hearing this spoke up.
"Other three ?" Yakumo said.
"Um yeah; one from Kiri and two from Suna" Yuui said as she took out the list once more "umm the Kiri slot is blank but the Suna has two potentials". "A 'Gaara' and a 'Kankuro'" Yuui said and Naruto nodded.
"Well, pick the least shittiest person I guess" Naruto said as he took a bite of his pizza; Naruto chewed his pizza and had began to think 'man getting married for a political alliance'. 'Glad I'm not doing that' Naruto thought.
(Meanwhile) At the Land of Lightning Border
A team of four people were walking along the road to enter the land of lightning; the leader was a man wearing a head covering and a piece of cloth covering his right eye, the second was a teenage blonde girl with a fan on her back, the third was a teenage boy who had what appears to be a mummy on his back.
The last one was a short boy with red hair, dark rings under his eyes, a tattoo with the Kanji for 'love' on his forehead above his left eye and carrying a large gourd on his back. All four of them had Suna forehead protectors showing their allegiance.
As they reached the border there was a chuckle from behind a boulder; a figure appeared from the other side and it was a pale skinned man with long black hair, snake like eyes and a wide creepy smile.
"Hello everyone; pleasure meeting you here" the man said "it's Baki right; Rasa mention me to you?"
"Yes and I was informed about you as well Lord Orochimaru" Baki said to Orochimaru who smiled "but Lord Rasa did not tell us what we were to be helping you with"
"Oh yes, well; don't worry about that for right now" Orochimaru said "I'll have my subordinate inform you about your objective soon enough". "But in the mean time go along as planned and ensure that you and your team passed the exams" Orochimaru said before looking at the red haired boy and licking his lips "especially you young Gaara; I wish to see you in real battle".
"I do not care about you're wishes" Gaara said in a monotone voice "all I wish to do is prove my existence; so stay out of my way or else".
Orochimaru looked at the young man and chuckled "adorable isn't he?" Orochimaru said to Baki who gave no response "any how, I better get going; I have a team to enter myself". Leaves began to swirl around Orochimaru and he spoke "ta-ta" he said with a dark chuckle before vanishing in a swirl of leaves.
Baki narrowed his eyes at this 'why the hell is Lord Rasa even bothering with a monster like him?' Baki thought before looking behind himself and at his team "Gaara, Kankuro, Temari; lets get moving".
"Shut up" Gaara said as he walked past Baki crossing the border into lightning country 'I know there will be someone there; someone truly powerful and who can give me a challenge'. A creepy smile crept across Gaara's face as he walked down the road 'I will spill blood for you mother… just be patient' he thought as he continued towards Kumo with his team following behind him.
