Little Magikarp in a Big Pond

"HAHahahaahahaaha so after all that you lost hahahha!" Giselle laughed as Slate replayed how his gym battle went. "Maybe we should reevaluate our travel conditions." her laugh lingered a little longer.
Slate rolled his eyes Giselle's attempts at Taunt failed."Everyone loses it prevents you from getting to cocky." Slate responded standing before his team each varying in different states.
"Better lose now rather then when it really matters."
Nidorina was as cheerful as ever standing at her trainers feet purring as he scratched her behind the ears. Like her teammate Scyther was cool as ever leaning against a tree but one look at him could tell he was paying attention. After some prodding from the Professor Slate exchanged Beedrill with Sheldor who as always looked pose to strike. It was the last three Slate had the most focus on Ivysaur smirked clearly content with his results of his battle, the others won't so much as both Poliwhirl and Gible looked like they'd seen better days.
"Get that look off your face, you won mostly because Surge got cocky, next time it won't be so easy." The took the smug smirk of the grass starters face his trainer was right if he wanted to remain the lead pokemon of a champion he had to get stronger. No way was he playing second to any of his comrades.
"Gible this was mostly my fault I figured type advantage would make up for it for your lack of experience. But that won't happen again not to you not to any of you, we are going to train, battle and get stronger everyday so we'll never be caught off guard again." Slate said with a determined eye all but two of his mon shared.
As Sheldor remained ever indifferent where as Poliwhirl glared down at the floor recall its match against the Electabuzz especially that last move that only blasted through his move but also knocked it out.
"Will you stop sulking we both know why you wanted that battle so quite looking like Giratina is back with avengence. Like I said we're gonna train and let's kick there asses next time!" Slate said knowing its rivally with Paul's Elekid (most likely at this point an Electabuzz itself) and how it wanted to prove it's strength.
"WHIRL!" getting to its feet the water type locked eyes with its trainer again no words were exchanged between the two both knowing that a lot of battles, strategy, and training were in there future.
Giselle could raise a brow at the interaction between her travel buddy and his pokemon even after a loss he didn't let it get him down, he simply picked himself up and got back to the work. Even the highest ranking students at Poketech would be a little depressed after a loss there was even that one student whose paperwork accidently went missing after he won one to many battles against a bunch of third years.
Maybe she should have watched the battle instead of what she was doing bbbbbuuuuuut she needed her thing done such is life.
"Well that pep talk was nice but that's enough, it is time I show you why I was the number one first year student of PokeTech. The most beloved, respected and admired there wasn't a single student that wouldn't freeze and stare at me in awe." she boasted and without another word she strutted out, head held high, hips swinging.
"I think there were factors at work there." Slate's eyes lingered the bombshell of an ex-student knowing a good part for the admiration as he watched her cute, plump ass as it swayed in her hasty retreat.
Throwing his hands up the Pallet Town native followed after it'll be something to do beside it might give him an edge next time.

"Honestly. I actually expected you back in a week. Not one day."
"Not here to battle just to watch." Slate said with a lazy wave as he made his way to the sidelines.
"Really?"
"Yes! Your challenger is I the one and only Giselle!" she declared crossing her arms under her breasts giving them a slight lift. A cocky smirk overtook the students face, finally her time to shine she'll show Slate that academics will allows trumpet that real experience he preaches about and finally prove his win was a fluke.
Surge said nothing as he stared at his new opponent more accurately the girl's bouncy funbags as they were pushed into eye view. "Not as big a Erika but man she is definitely a head turner." Surge thought a bit of drool fell from the corner of his mouth.
Noticing but simply not caring about the effects her cute face, curvy, sexy and just plain dynamite body had on the electric type gym leader it'll be all the more amazing once she dominated this battle. With a usual flourish that only she could have Giselle withdrew a pokeball. "Seeing as this the my first official gym battle I'm told the rules are different based on the badges earned."
"Ahem." Clearing his throat Surge threw his own. "Since it's your first battle one on one should do. Go Raichu." Out popped a familiar Eletric Mouse only smaller then the one he battled.
"Aww a pure Electric type lets see how you deal with this. Go Cubone!" Out popped a small, bipedal, dinosaur-like Pokémon light brown hide that covers most of its body, small claws and its face was covered in a skull while holding a bone in its hand.
"Okay Girly I'll start this off Raichu Thunderbolt!" With an aggresive smile Raichu's cheeks crackled with yellow electricity- "RRRaaaiiii-CHU!" and it releases many powerful bolts.
"Hahaha do you think that's going to work on a ground type." Giselle haughty laughed as the bolt of lightning crashed down.
"It's called a distraction, don't under estimate a Gym Leader Girly." Surge gloated clearly back in Gym Leader mode.
A dust cloud engulfed the Lonely Pokemon, the smirk on Giselle's face quickly faded as Raichu burst through the cloud its white glowing fist shot out. The Cubone gasps in pain as the Mega Punch struck it in the gut lifting it off the ground sending it skyward.
While in the air Giselle could see tears welling on Cubone's face. "Use Fling." with his eyes still closed Cubone tossed his bone that soared through the air the mousse pokemon could only roll it's eyes as it ducked under the flying bone.
"Never let your pokemon close its eyes in the middle of a battle."
"Crap that wasn't even close." She heard the electric gym leader was a meathead that relied on power so she went with an ground type to neutralize his biggest advantage. Who knew the guy could use stratagizes. She couldn't lose not like this what were those classes for if she couldn't beat her first gym battle. It looks like she needed to use that move.
"Cubone use Earth Power!" As it made it's descent Cubone's eyes shot open as it's body briefly flashes with yellow energy. Once on the ground Cubone slammed it's tiny paw into the ground creating glowing gold cracks toward Raichu.
"Dodge it, then use Focus Punch!" Rushing toward the gold cracks Raichu does a light hop off the ground then a long jump to the right just out of range of the Ground attack. Back on both feet took into a sprint as its fist glows light blue.
Smug smirk plastered on her face as Giselle gave an order. "Hit him with Stomping Tantrum followed by Bone Rush!"
At the order Cubone began stomping the ground repeatedly before hitting the ground with both of its feet at once, at that moment splinters of the ground flying at the opponent.
This did little to the the Eletric Mouse as Raichu simply started punching through every rock in it's mad dash barely slowing.
Cubone's bone glows light blue as it grows longer. Rushing forward the two clashed in the middle each hoping to over power the other.
This clash lasted only a moment as Raichu's superior strength, experience and raw power of its attack it was very only natural that Cubone would be sent soaring as Raichu stepped on its down swung club delivering a straight to the chin.
Giselle stared in shock at her Cubone, her starter who layed on the ground in defeat.
"C-Cubone!" Again it happened again when she had the type advantage and again she's losing in what should be an easy matchup. How is this happening she was top of the first years of her school that placed her at least two badges. They always told her that the Poketech was where the best of the best went in order to make it to the league. What was the point of the steep tuition hiring the Elite Trainers turned teachers (weird they claimed they were ranked as Elite trainers but always refused to battle the students, always something about not breaking their expectations). This was her first gym battle weren't they suppose to be easy. Wasn't this whole traveling trainer thing suppose to be for trainers to poor to just go to school. Arceus in the back of her mind she always thought Slate only won out of luck, he was a no named trainer after all with no background supporting any supposed level of potential. So how? How is this happening!?
Cubone was thinking something similiar as it rose to it's feet bone club held shakenly before falling back to the ground. How did this happen his trainer was brilliant and he was a ground type who just lost to an Electic type.
"Well I guess that was that." Surge said as he patted his hands clean. He was not prepared for this honestly he expected more of a struggle guess money can't make up for skill. "Come back whenever you want a rematch." He said before rubbing his chin eyeing her chest lustfully. "Or something else." he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
And this old man with hitting on her just after beating her. No don't get angry. Now being the mature, beautiful, brilliant, sexy, wonderful girl she was she will handle this with diginty and grace:
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Giselle used Screech and by the way Slate and Surge's eyes rolled into the back of their heads despite holding their ears it was super effective. This lasted for about a minute before she finally stopped causing the two to sigh in relief. That relief ended as Giselle began taking a deep breathe.
"Nope." Having enough of that Slate rushed over throwing the girl over his shoulder using his jacket to muffle the potential screams.
"I-Is she gonna be alright?" Surge asked not sure if he should call a doctor or not.
"Private school just learning how deep the ocean is compared to her little pond." Slate explained knowing this was probably going to happen. Oak always drilled into them that the cocky got put down the hardest and how for some it would require several weeks of defeats to get their heads straight.
Oh well not like any of the Pallet town natives would fall for that nonesense.
