AN: Happy new year everyone!. (Ok i know I'm late for that but come on give me a break lmao) I had a great year during 2024 so i hope you all had a good year too, so let's brace ourselves for 2025 and see what the future has in store for us this year, hopefully for the better. Anyways now I'm back so I'll try to be ad much active as i was but can't promise anything, so enjoy this chapter.
It was getting late at nighttime and the trio decides to head back home to the Guild after completing their first mission as a team.
Unfortunately Lena is still bummed out because after all that they didn't get the prize money award no thanks to Aiger.
"Unbelievable. Who in their right minds would turn down 2 million jewel!?". She whined and complained while looking completely upset and disappointed.
"If we had taken the money then it wouldn't look good on us you know". Aiger reasoned trying to convince her why he had to do it for the sake of their Guild's reputation despite all the destruction he always brings. "Try to think more of Fairy Tail's reputation".
"Aye true that". Spyro agreed.
"But we've made him happy didn't we?". Lena still not buying it. "We got the job done and now we're walking home?".
She then sighed before chuckling sarcastically. "And then we find out he's not even wealthy?". She picture in her head after finding out Ace's real home is actually a small cottage and the mansion was only a place he's renting and imagining him chuckling embarrassingly. "He was just renting that mansion so everybody would think he's riched".
So yeah Aiger might've figured that out himself so that's why he turn down the reward cause there's no way to the Client would ever be able to afford that much.
But Lena just scoff. "Like that would matter, we would've taken the job either way". She protest.
"I don't know about you". Spyro shrugs.
"Of course i would!". Lena argued back.
"Sure greedy". He replied sarcastically not believing her.
Then they decided to take a break by making a fire and cooked some meal since they're a little hungry.
The tree of them sat around a campfire with roasted fish cooking on the flames. Aiger and Spyro just ate while Lena just sat there wondering about something.
While they were eating she suddenly brings up a question to Aiger. "By the way. The house". She tried asking curiously. "How did you figure out that it wasn't really his?".
Aiger swallowed his meal for a second before replying to her. "Oh that was easy, cause it smells like someone else's house. Just seem really obvious to me". He answered casually while continuing eating.
"Sure...For you two animals really". Lena sighed and shook her head. But then it changed to a smile. "Not me though, I was still lost in the clouds from reading that book".
Aiger then looks up at her with a bit of suspicious smirk. "Okay, i got you all figured out now". He said teasingly. "All those papers i found at the desk at your place?".
Lena flinced and gasped panickingly remembering when Aiger and Spyro were snooping around at her new apartment and the part where Aiger was going through her things.
Especially the ones he found a bunch of papers writing on her desk which then he instantly figured it out. "You're writing a novel aren't you?". He smirked now figuring it all out.
"Ooohh. So that's why she was such a bookworm". Spyro stated that as it makes much more sense.
Lena couldn't help but squeaks and her entire face began to blushed like crazy with her face red as tomatoes. "Promise me you won't tell anyone about it okay?, pretty please?". She begged in embarrassment before looking away with her face heating up.
"Why not-". Spyro tried asking but was interrupted.
"BECAUSE I'M A HORRIBLE WRITER AND IF ANYBODY EVER FINDS OUT I MIGHT DIE FROM EMBARRASSMENT!". Lena whines as she covers her face with both of her hands to hide her blushing.
"Geez relax will ya?. Nobody's going to read it anyway". Aiger just shrugs not really finding that to be a very big deal.
Lena just groaned and glared at him not really what she's trying to say. "That doesn't sound very helpful to me". She grumble but just scoff anyway.
"But it was not bad". Aiger then suddenly compliment her which she did not expect that. "At least for my opinion. You're pretty talented you know. I like that".
Lena just stayed silence before looking at Aiger and see he was being sincere and honest which did made her feel a little better.
"Thanks". Was all she just said smiling but still tried to hide her blushing. But hearing that from Aiger is really appreciated.

"I don't know about this you guys". Horologium says speaking for Lena as she found herself inside the Clock Spirit after summoning him a couple of minutes ago. "Are you sure we're going the right way?. She asked".
Aiger groaned as he couldn't believe Lena had to summon that annoying clock guy again just because she didn't want to walk on her feet. "Spyro says this is the way home so this is where we're going, so i answered". He said annoyingly as they're making their way past the swamp in the middle of the forest.
"Have some faith in me will ya, I'm a dragon i have a great sense of smell". Spyro said with confident and proudly. "My nose shall lead us home in no time".
"It's dog that has great noses, and what does smell have anything to do with directions?. She asked bluntly and annoyedly". Horologium speaks for Lena translating everything she says through him.
Aiger groaned once again feeling so annoyed at this. "Why don't you go do your own walking for once?". He argued and glared at Lena.
"Because I'm tired you Dum-Dum. She scoff exhaustedly". Horologium says as Lena sticks out her tounge from inside the clock spirit much to Aiger's annoyance.
"Oh brother". He groaned before slapping himself.
However suddenly both of them could feel like something is watching them as they walk passed by. Or should rather say someone is watching them close by.
In instinct Aiger immediately jumped into action leaping against the few feet bushes that where he sense someone is spying on them.
"Who's there!?". He shouts as he began tackling whoever is behind the bushes. "Come on out now!".
"Do you always have to fight!?. She says worriedly". Horologium says for Lena directly.
"You can take whoever it is Aiger!". Spyro cheered for his partner.
Luckily it wasn't that long until Aiger came out of the bushes along with however it was that was behind it in the first place.
And to their surprised it was the Ice Wizard who likes to stripped out of nowhere. The genius smart guy Yusei Fudo.
Spyro gasped when he saw who it was. "It's Yusei!?". He says in surprised.
"What's he doing here?, and why is he just in his shirt and underwear?. The lady asked embarrassedly". Horologium translate that for Lena.
"Trying to find the bathroom". Yusei said seriously trying to find the right excuses so they don't get the wrong idea.
"But why would you stripped down before you found one?". Aiger asked strictly and glared at him. "And who the heck ever heard of a bathroom in the middle of the forest!?".
"I wanted some privacy, I didn't expect a idiot kid to barge in". Yusei replied coldy defensively before getting into Aiger's face despite being tall for his size.
"Man they're so childish". Lena says annoyedly and unbelievably as she facepalm and not realizing she's no longer inside Horologium. "I thought that guy is supposed to be an adult".
"She says to the dragon". Spyro said mockingly pointing out to Lena that her time must be up to use her clock spirit.
...
"Oh, so you're on your way back from a job". Lena asked as they all gather on a cliff near a lake where Spyro tried fishing.
"Yeah there's a shortcut through these woods and i can make it back there in no time". Yusei points the direction he was heading.
"See?. I told you so". Spyro brags as he points out he was right.
"Yeah well if your nose is so great than how come you didn't even know Yusei was right in front of us?". Lena points back at how she doesn't believe that's the case. "Smart guy".
"Somethings you don't want to smell". Spyro teased as he didn't want to say exactly what he smelled.
Yusei grunt and glared at him. "What's that supposed to mean?". He looked offendedly.
"I agree. So go on home and we'll smell ya later". Aiger smirked teasingly trying togetting him to leave.
Which he scoff and get up. "Fine i will, and unless you want trouble you should too". Yusei said it almost sounding concerned for some reason.
"Why do you say that?". Lena asked.
A few seconds of silence before Yusei answered. "Because Sakura is due back anytime now". He said honestly and seriously.
Aiger gasped in response hearing while Lena just looked confused. "Who?". She wonders not knowing who that person is.
"You don't know Sakura Blossom?". Spyro asked in surprise munching a fish on his mouth. "She's one of the strongest wizard in all of Fairy Tail".
"Really?. Sorry but i don't i think i ever heard or seen her in the news of even magazine". Lena apologize for not having to know this person. "What's she like anyway?".
Both Aiger and Yusei flinced in a bit of fear before saying. "Scary". In unison.
"A wild animal". Yusei added.
"A beast". Aiger added.
"More like a full-blown MONSTER!". Spyro added the last past as Lena can't imagine her as a giant size monster with black figures such as black skin, black horns crashing through the buildings with her feet breathing fire from her mouth.
"Oh come on she's NOT that big as a monster you guys". Spyro complained as he can see through Lena's imagination.
"She's a big enough monster for me". Aiger mutters quietly.
"One thing we can actually agree on". Yusei said in agreement as well. "She is definitely that scary, maybe there's a word beyond that?".
"Nope, she's definitely THAT scary". Aiger corrected him.
"What?, i guarantee you she could take down 3 mountains with a single kick". Yusei commented.
"I think that's a little exaggerate Yusei". Spyro said getting that's a little much before correcting him. "It's more like 2".
"You know guys even if she could take down a mountain with a single kick. It's just scary". Lena gulped now actually sounding worried.
"Like i said we should get moving". Yusei said with a warning.
"Crap, we better get moving!". Aiger gets up preparing to leave as soon as possible.
Out of nowhere a cloaked figured hold his hands out in front as magic circle appear before them causing an explosion happens where the four of them are sitting.
As the smoke clear they were all laying on the ground, Lena coughed from being almost burried completely but managed to get out of it, Yusei only has half of his head above the soil ground, while Aiger has his entire top half under the buried soil ground.
"What now?". Yusei asked annoyedly.
When Aiger manages to uproofs himself he noticed Spyro was gone. "Spyro!?". He cried out as sand came out of his mouth.
Turns out his dragon partner got captured and is being hanged on top of a fire limps strung up tide up like a fresh caught meat, a group of wizards then circle around him with the intention of wanting to roast him alive and eat him.
"Help me". Spyro gulping as he's being surrounded by group of five wizard who obviously are bad news.
A purple mandrill, wears blue gloves and pants and a white lab coat. On his head is a plug for interfacing with his large mutants. He holds his face in a constant grimace.

A salmon-pink pegasus filly, curly light blue mane and tail, scarlet eyes, and a cutie mark of a rook.

Twins brothers. Two of them had similar medium length, orange hair and orange eyebrows with three spikes expect one is lighter orange and the other is darker orange and each is swept in the opposite direction. Both have slim, athletic build and his eyes are a dark blue color. The other wears attire consists of a red sleeveless jacket with a high collar, worn over a gray-white tank top. The jacket is gray along the edges, at intervals down the front, and on two small circles on the collar. He wears gray-white finger-less gloves that extend past his elbows and end with a red band. Around his waist, he wears two belts. One is brown with a silver rectangular buckle, and the other one, to which his launcher is attached, is red with an oval-shaped buckle. His trousers are black with silver buttons and have pockets on the thighs. He has short, brown boots with a gray patch on the front and gray soles. The other is similar to his brother expect his color is blue compare to him.

And lastly a large chiken in a rotund humanoid with yellow skin, spiky red hair, and a red, wattle-like beard. He has beady black eyes, a triangular mouth and no apparent nose and ears. He wears blue overalls with two lighter colored pockets in the rear and a pair of red shoes for footwear.

(AN: I couldn't think of anyone fitting to be the Eisenwald Chicken guy in Fairy Tail cause it's too hard so i decided to let him be himself rather than hurting my head trying to think of anyone. Sorry)
"We're finally gonna get some real protein". The one known as Dan spoke as he began to drool over his mouth.
"No berries for us tonight". The twin brother known as Reiki agreed as he too start to drool over his mouth.
"A future holds a feast". The smal pegasus filly called Cozy Glow mutters softly as she holds what it looked like to be a crystal ball.
The Chicken who almost like someone wearing a custome doesn't spoke and just crows agreeing.
Suddenly Spyro start to shake.
"Whoa". Reiki noticed that.
"Look at him shaking in fear". Dan points out smirking.
"Relax. You're gonna be in our belly's soon enough so there's no need to be scared". The one calling himself Dr.M reassure evilly thinking that's the case.
But turns out. "Actually... I'm not shaking because I'm scared". Spyro said almost embarrassingly as he just blushed madly. "I gotta use the bathroom real bad".

...
...
"Huh!?". They all gasped in unison and just straight up confused with a question marks on their heads.
"I-I-I-I can't hold it much longer you guys!". Spyro freaks out even more and just shakes even crazier. "And i betcha it's going to make me taste weird and nasty".
But Dr.M just scoff not really buying the act. "Who cares?, now cook it!". He demands to the Chicken man who nodded and starts lighting up his magic staff with fire magic.
"I'll take mine medium please". Cozy says it ladylike in a good manner.
"H-Hey I'm serious!". Spyro cried out as he tried to show he's not joking around. "It's gonna make me taste funny, come on you gotta trust me man!".
Luckily help is on the way. "HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!". Shouts Aiger calling out to them as he, Yusei and Lena manage to find their kinapp dragon friend.
"Spyro!". Lena called out to Spyro to see if he's alright.
Which he is as he sighed in relief. "Oh thank goodness, now I'm not going to taste weird". He says still whining yet relief at the same time.
"Pipe down!". Dr.M glared.
"That's our friend you're trying to roast buddy, sorry but your going to have to make other plans for dinner". Aiger warned them as he clutches his fist together preparing for a fight.
"You're all wizards aren't you?". Yusei asked even though he already knew that. "Which Guild are with?".
But Dr.M just smirked evilly. "I'm not telling". He says mockingly before ordering the others. "Get e'm!".
"Yusei, let's do this!". Aiger spoke confidently.
"Right. But don't go on telling me what to do". Yusei replied coldly not taking orders from a kid. Much to Aiger's annoyance.
"Spear bomb go!". Shouts Dr.M as he punches the ground creating a swirl of wind that caught Aiger the moment he dives into it and it circle around into a or of sand just floating above the air
"Aiger!". Lena cried out.
"Don't worry he's fine". Yusei says calmly amd reassuringly he's good. "Just go and helped Spyro".
"Right!". Lena nodded before running to where Spyro is still being tide up.
The twin brother's strike at the same time toward Yusei but he just dodge them before knocking them both out punching and kicking them without having to use his magic at all.
While Lena went on ahead to freed Spyro.
"HELP!. Lena's gonna eat me!". He dramatically cried out whining even though he knows she's just trying to save him.
"Oh shut up Dragon!". Lena just groaned and glared wondering if she should just let him get eaten if he's going to act like that.
Suddenly the Chicken guy approach them wielding a staff with magic fire.
Lena scream. "PLEASE DON'T KILL ME MR.CHICKEN!". She begs but luckily was saved by Yusei who kicked him till he's out of her way to escape in time.
"Who's next?". He smirked a little cockily feeling this is way too easy.
But then he spoke too soon as Cozy Glow approach him mysteriously with a purple crystal ball.
"I see someone's special but the stars pointed great trouble with roses and women". She then says it innocently as she's telling his fortune.
"You telling me my fortune kid?". Yusei looked confused before spanking to her butt, he doesn't like hitting children but this is an expection.
"He's not even using any magic". Lena softly spoke to herself looking rather impressed until she saw Yusei taking his clothes off. "Put some clothes on!".
"Crap!". He gasped embarrassed at how he ji strips out of nowhere again.
"Where did these brats come from anyway?". Dr. M wonders furious before gasping when hecss Aiger manage to escape his orb of sand. "Oh uh".
"You jerk, now i got a mouth full of sands and it's all because of you". Aiger groaned and spitting the remaining sand before calling out his attack. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!".
And just like that Aiger's attack caused a huge explosion and soon enough all four of them were tide up together around a tree knocked unconsciously.
"Don't you think you might have gone overboard Aiger?". Yusei facepalm at Aiger's overwhelming attack.
"So what if i did?. I got the job done didn't i?". Aiger just scoff not seeing what's the big deal is.
"Would you just grow up already?. Your an embarrassment to the Guild". Yusei argued.
"What!?". Aiger angrily looked offended as he got into his face. "Shut up!".
Lena just sighed as she just decided to ignored the two boys and turn her attention to the bad guys before Dr.M starts to mutters something.
"Lu...LLa". He mutters through half unconsciousness.
"Huh?". Lena narrows her eyebrows im confusion.
"Lu...Lla...By". Was all he said before he's once again unconscious completely.
But Yusei managed to get a clear what he's saying. "Lullaby?". He asked confusingly wondering why would he say something so randomly like that.
Suddenly without them knowing or realizing there was an ominous shadow that came out of nowhere and Spyro senses it quickly.
"Incoming!". He called out but was too late.
The ominous shadow form a big hand over the bad guys that's being tide up against the tree.
Lena, Aiger and Yusei were in shock and disbelief when the ominous shadow took the bad guys before disappearing into the ground taking them away.
"What was that!?". Lena gasped in shock and confusion.
"Who was that?". Aiger had the same reaction as she is.
"Well whoever it was they're fast". Yusei points out the fact. "I can't even sense him or her anymore".
"But what could this mean?". Aiger asked looking confused as what was that all about.
"Lullaby...". Lena has no idea what even means too. But she can't help but feel it could meant something bad is going to happen that they'll figured out sooner or later.
