So, uh… no offense to those on FFN, but it's giving me some problems lately. It won't let me change the cover picture or anything… at this point, I think I might just be on Archive of Our Own or Wattpad if it keeps giving me problems.
… Tai's not here yet, so it's just me. I'm gonna work on the first chapter for the Ash x Helluva Boss story after this chapter and kinda do a back-and-forth for a bit. At least that's the plan.
(The world between time and space)
Dialga and Palkia were staring at a glowing line, concern on their face as they saw a piece of it flickering. Arceus then appeared before them in a flash, his majestic presence catching their attention as he turned to face them.
"What is it you wanted me to see now?" Arceus asked.
"Sir, it's the timeline, there's something off about it." Palkia states while referring to the flickering part. "It's rather concerning."
The Alpha Pokemon got closer to examine the piece, however, before he could say anything a bright glow emitted from the line, making the three back up. They were concerned, especially as further down the line more parts of it suddenly glowing.
The glows then died down, and the flickering was done, much to their relief and wonder. However, then they started to notice strings emerging from them and straightening out before they started to slowly stretch in random directions.
"What?" Palkia says in surprise. "What is this?"
"The timeline is… branching out." Dialga says.
"Into alternative timelines." Arceus says as he watches it happen. "I was wondering when this would happen."
"Oh… wow this one took a while." Palkia says.
"What do you think we should do?" Dialga asks.
Arceus hemmed and hawed in though before examining one point. It was at the very beginning before he had sent Ash to the other world's Hell and it had hundreds of lines branching out from it already. Another point was when he was sent back from Heaven, which had less but still a lot emerging from it. Each one seemed to be slow in forming its events as if it was still deciding.
"Interesting. I say we leave them be." The Alpha Pokemon says as he floats over to the other two. "As of right now, I suggest we stay focused on the primary canon. Though I do say we check in on at least a few of them every once in a while to see how things are progressing and maybe get an idea of where the primary canon will go."
The two looked at each other, then nodded in agreement. As things continued, Arceus would take one more glance at all the paths that were being created before putting his attention on the actual timeline. However, our sights are not on the primary timeline, but one in particular. One where things go so much differently.
(Timeline 2, Pallet Town)
The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the Pidgeys were chirping, and the Dodrio was cawing to alert everyone that it was morning. And here the sun shines into one home specifically. Going into one window in one room was a married couple of three.
A one-eyed angel named Vaggie, whose wings were out and covering her other two lovers, her wife: the Princess of Hell: Charlie Morningstar, whose hair was the messiest of them all, and their human husband: Ash Ketchum, who was in the middle of both of them.
The three of them were all lovingly cuddled up and snoozing away without any worry in the world. Months went by after they got married and they couldn't be happier where they lay now and everything was perfect at that moment… until the sounds of crying woke them up, remembering the few weeks that had gone by since their children were born, right before the alarm too.
Well, had to wake up at some point.
(A minute later)
Ash was in the kitchen getting breakfast prepared. Vaggie and Charlie were in the living room, Vaggie breastfeeding her baby sons while the princess was changing her daughter, Pikachu attempting to help.
Once he was done making food and removing the pot from the stove that was boiling the milk, Ash checked the time. "Shoot, it's that late already? Hey, girls, it's almost ten!"
"Shit!" Vaggie says before covering her mouth, remembering her sons.
"Got it! Just gotta call Delia." Charlie says before picking up her daughter. "Ready to see Grammy, my little Aurora? ~" She says in a cutesy tone as the child just waves her arms, making her mother giggle.
"Got three challengers coming to the Battle Pyramid today." Ash says as his Pokemon hops onto the counter next to him. "Gonna be a fun one, ain't it, Pikachu?"
"Pi, Pika." Pikachu says to him.
(Later again)
In their room, the girls were getting dressed in their hotel uniforms, Vaggie finishing doing Charlie's ponytails before the blonde did the angel's head bow. Ash was finishing putting on his Battle Pyramid outfit, adjusting his ring a bit after putting on his gloves.
"Alright, I'm gonna drop the kids off with my mom." Ash says before going over to the girls and handing them his Arc Phone. "You sure you don't need my help with anything in the hotel?"
"Sweetheart, we'll be fine." Charlie reassures him while taking the phone.
"Trust us, Honey, we can handle things down there." Vaggie also says.
"I know. Doesn't hurt to ask." He says before giving them each a kiss. "Love you."
"Love you too." Charlie says while waving before starting the phone.
"Love you too." Vaggie says while also waving before they teleport away.
After that, Ash sighed before stretching. "Okay, let's get the kids to Mom's place before they wake up. Ready, Riolu?" He says before the other Pokemon appear at his side.
"BAU!" The jackal says.
"Alright, let's go."
(Later that day in Hell)
"Okay, everyone!" Charlie says as she stands in front of her crew with a clipboard. "Everyone understands their roles, right?"
"Yes, ma'am!" They all say.
"Okay, good."
"Yeah, ya know, it's been fucking months since we tried to focus on this shit." Angel says.
"I know, I know, progress hasn't been the best, but now we're gonna try to pick things up. Especially now that we finally have the time."
"You heard her, let's get to work, everyone! Vamanos!" Vaggie then says while waving to get started.
Niffty was on cleaning duty, there being little bugs in the premises for her to hunt. Husk went over to man the bar… more or less got drunk by it. And Alastor was… nearby.
"Remember, 'Grand Opening'. Let's try to keep the message… not sexual as possible." Charlie states while having crayons out.
"Yeah, yeah, we got it." Cherri says as she takes out the paint.
"C'mon, doll, what do ya take me for?" Angel says as he is writing.
"Just making sure." Vaggie says while walking in with tools. "Whew, back to the drawing board, huh?" She says while kneeling next to her wife.
"Yeah, it's gonna take some time to get used to this, but we can get through this." Charlie says. "I wonder how Ash and the kids are doing."
"Right, still not used to being a mom."
"... Same, honestly."
(Pallet Town, later that day)
Ash covered his face as dust flew by him. This was his third challenger and he was having a bit of a struggle while using his Buizel. He dusted his outfit off as he stared at a young girl who had a Milotic. He went to tip his hat, only to remember that he didn't have it with him, and sighed before looking at the Pokemon on his shoulder before quickly regaining his composure.
"Alright, not bad." Ash says while smiling at her. "But now we're gonna get serious."
"Bring it on! Me and Milotic have been training hard for this." The trainer says.
"I can see that. That being said, I won't go easy." Ash then pumped his fist forward. "Buizel, use Sonic Boom!"
"Milotic, use Disarming Voice!"
Buizel jumped into the air and his tail began to glow before he fired a blue ray at his opponent. The Milotic reeled back before releasing a loud echo while firing a pink beam from its mouth that collided with the other and created a booming explosion.
(Sometime later… again)
"Careful with him, Mimy!" Delia says while Mr. Mime uses Psychic to make Aaron fly while the child is giggling up a storm. "Just make sure he doesn't bump into anything."
"Mime, mime!" Mr. Mime says in reassurance.
She then felt something tugging at her leg and looked down, finding her granddaughter pulling at her before reaching for her to be picked up.
"Aw, come here you." She says while putting Aaron down and picking up the girl who immediately reaches for her face while smiling. "You are so adorable. Yes, you are. ~" She cooed.
Then she heard a quack and turned back, watching Levi and Riolu playing tug-a-war with the duck that Lucifer gave the angel boy. Levi managed to pull it away before falling back on a pillow, then for the Jackal to run up and lick his face. She simply laughed before someone knocked at her door.
"Yes?" Delia says while opening the door with the baby demon still in her arms before smiling. "Oh, Ash! Welcome back."
"Hey, mom. Got off early. Hi, sweetie. Did you have fun with Grandma?" Ash says while taking Aurora into his arms. "And…" He says before looking behind her and seeing Mr. Mime giving a piggyback ride to Aaron while Riolu was squeaking the duck with Levi. "See the boys are having fun."
"They are so energetic and so cute. Are Charlie and Vaggie gonna be here soon?"
"Yeah, they should be getting off soon. Sorry, I can't stay longer. Riolu, Aaron, Levi! Time to go!" He calls as the jackal picks Levi up with his duck before Mime comes over and gives him Aaron.
"It's fine. Just, come visit again. I miss having you around here… even though I should be used to it by now."
"Don't worry. I promise we'll have a proper visit when we get the chance." Ash says before kissing her cheek. "Love you, mom."
"Love you too, Ash!" Delia says as her son and his Pokemon start to leave. "And say hi to Rosie for me!"
"Will do!"
(Later… again)
Ash sighed as he walked inside and set his kids in their high chairs before checking the time. It was almost time for dinner. He went and got changed into his casual outfit with an apron then came back to the kitchen, and put a pot in the sink before filling it with water for dinner.
"Don't worry, kids." He says while giving the children all head pats. "Your moms will be home in just a little bit. Then we can all eat!"
He then went back to the kitchen and checked the pot before starting the stove. He was suddenly stopped, seeing Pikachu and Riolu staring up at him with their eyes wide and sparkling. One sigh later, he gave the two head scratches as they looked happy.
(Again later-)

Ash uses a strainer and puts the food in separate bowls. "Alright, and…" He says while holding his hand out, being given a bottle and was about to open it. "Wait…" He saw it was the ketchup he was given. "Pikachu." He says while glaring at the aforementioned Pokemon.
"Pi… Pikachu." Pikachu says while nervously scratching his head.
"I told you, ketchup doesn't go with spaghetti." He says before Riolu hands him a jar of homemade tomato sauce. "Thank you, Riolu." He says before setting it next to him. "Is the porridge ready?" He then asked as the electric mouse nodded. "Okay, good."
Then he heard a familiar blaring noise and got a sly look on his face before leaving the kitchen. He stepped behind the flash where his girls then appeared before he grabbed them from behind and picked them up as they yelped.
"Welcome back!" He says cheerfully.
"Woah, Ash!" Charlie says in shock.
"Honey!" Vaggie yelled at him as he put them down.
"Sorry." He says as she lightly hits him on the shoulder before he leans down and pecks her cheek. "Still, welcome back."
"Yeah, good to see you, sweetheart." She says while kissing his cheek before childish babbles catch her attention. "Oh, hi, my sweet little Sunshine!" She says while going over to Aurora. "Oh, Mommy missed you so much!" She says before littering the child's head with kisses as she giggles.
"I especially missed you two. Haven't been giving your granny trouble, have you?" Vaggie says while going over to the boys.
"They've been behaving. Least my mom didn't complain." Ash tells them before making his way to the kitchen. "Just in time for dinner."
"Ooh, you hear that, Aurora? You excited for daddy's cooking?" Charlie says to her daughter who just waves her arms around.
(Insert cut here)

(Child 1)
"Okay, it's… is it recording? I can't tell?" Charlie says as she holds up a video camera.
"Yeah, the lights on." Ash tells her.
"Okay…" The blonde says before clearing her throat then putting her face in front of the camera. "Babies' first time trying porridge."
"Is this necessary?" Vaggie says as she puts her hair in a ponytail.
"Yes! I wanna capture their reactions."
The women were now dressed in their casual clothes while wearing aprons and along with their husband were recording. First was Levi who had a small bowl of porridge in front of him. Vaggie took the spoon took a scoop and held it up to the boy's mouth.
"Open wide, sweetie." She says.
Levi opened his mouth and let her gently place the spoon in his mouth and close it before she pulled away. He kept the same blank expression even as he swallowed, but reached for another to which his father gladly helped feed him more.
"I think he likes it." Vaggie chuckles as she watches the boy eat.
(Child 2)
"Okay, you ready, Aurora?" Charlie says as she's with the little girl.
Same setup as earlier, except Vaggie, was the one holding the camera and they were doing it with Aurora. She opened her mouth and eagerly ate the spoonful, slurping it down. Her eyes sparkled and then she squealed before reaching and trying to pick some more up, nearly knocking her bowl over, and getting her hands and sleeves covered in it before her father stopped her.
"Oh, okay. She likes it." Ash laughs while properly feeding her before she bounces in place as her mother laughs.
(Child 3)
"Alright… A-Aaron, stop eating that." Vaggie says while pulling her son's mouth away from the table.
It went back to Charlie holding the camera with Vaggie in the frame, this time with Aaron.
"Now, open wide." She says while holding up the spoon before the small angel tries to chomp at it. "Woah, okay-" He tried to chomp again. "Aaron, open-" He chomped at the spoon again.
"Aaron, stop trying to bite your mother." Ash says with his finger up. Aaron looked at him, then at his finger, and started trying to eat his finger before he pulled away and snorted. "No-ho, Aaron." He and the girls laughed. "Alright, Aaron… ah." He made the motion with his mouth.
"Ah." The baby angel then opened his mouth.
"Good."
Vaggie took the moment carefully put the spoon in his mouth before he closed it, then pulled away. His eyes almost immediately, then he giggled and practically jumped onto the mini table, flinging the bowl up into his face, and splashing the porridge all over him before he was pulled back, but also on his mother and father the three all laughed loudly as their son continued to eat whatever porridge he could reach.
"Yeah, he likes it alright." Charlie says through her laughter.
(Later)
After the mess made from dinner, it was family bathtime. They were all in the bathroom, the tub filled high enough where the children wouldn't sink and the adults had towels covering them. The bathtub was big enough to have all of them in it.
Vaggie was busy cleaning Aaron's face, who was being a little fussy. Ash was behind her cleaning cleaning her wings. Charlie was across from them, humming as she was scrubbing Aurora's head while said child was splashing the water. Pikachu then came over and started splashing along with her, giving the adults a smile while Levi was playing with his rubber duckie along with Riolu. Keekee was on the edge of the tub, not wanting to get wet.
"Dirt begone!" Charlie says after rinsing off her daughter. "Does that feel good to clean again, sweetheart?" She asks before Aurora makes her lips flutter which makes the woman giggle before nuzzling.
Vaggie smiled at the sight, wishing she could take a picture before she felt a tug at her towel. "A-Aaron-" She starts to say before the boy pulls one side off and then latches onto her breast.
"Heh, someone's still hungry." Ash chuckles.
"Yeah, even though we just fed you. Someone's greedy."
"Okay, now it's your turn, Levi." Charlie says before picking up the other angel.
She puts baby shampoo in his hair and starts scrubbing. It was all normal without the child reacting at first, but when she started scrubbing his back around his tiny wings, his eyes slowly widened. Then his eyes slowly closed before suddenly leaning back into the woman's hands.
The adults were surprised at first, but then they heard quiet snoozing from the child which made Charlie's smile widen as she adored his sleeping face. Ash and Vaggie simply chuckled before Aaron stopped drinking from his mother, yawning and falling limp before loudly snoring.
"Everyone's sleepy tonight." Ash says before looking at Aurora who was clinging to her mother's thigh. "Except her." He says before she suddenly lays her head against said thigh and closes her eyes. "Aw, never mind."
Charlie laughed again before rinsing off the angel boy who woke up for a moment before going back to sleep.
"Okay." She says before standing and getting out of the tub then wrapping each of the two kids in a towel on the floor before reaching in for the third. "I'll get them dried off." She says while wrapping the last child in a towel as the Pokemon gets out. "Be back in a bit."
Pikachu and Riolu pick up one each while Charlie takes the third and they leave the bathroom. That left the other two in the tub. The angel sighed before leaning back against the chest of her husband.
"What a day." Vaggie sighed.
"So… how was your day at the hotel?" Ash asks.
"Nothing special. We're ready for the Grand Opening, but as usual, there's no new guests."
"Gotcha. Guess even though the Exterminations have seemingly stopped, people are still being stingy." He says before hugging her from behind. "Still, means we have more time together."
"I know." She says before turning her head back under his chin. "So, what about you? How were your challengers?"
"Well, the first challenger I beat. Second challenger I narrowly won against. The last one though ended up beating me."
"Sounds like they got lucky. Sounds like you had more fun than us."
"Ya know, I could come and help next time."
"Think I might take you up on that offer." She says before thinking. "Ya know, after all the shit that Heaven gave us, I'm worried about what'll happen if they find out about… them… our kids."
"Don't think about that, Vaggie." He says before combing his hand through her hair. "I won't let them do anything to you, to Charlie, or our kids." He says as she looks up at him. "I will protect you."
Vaggie smiled before chuckling. "I should be the one protecting you. Especially considering how much trouble you get into."
"Well, good thing I'll be having my guardian angel with me." Ash says before kissing her on the cheek, making her giggle.
"You are so cheesy." She laughed before she undid and removed her towel, throwing it over the side before turning around, and brushing her wing feathers against the man's face as he blinked for a moment while she rested the front of her body against his, staring at him with bedroom eyes. "Me encanta eso de ti, mi amor. ~"
"Yeah, there's a lot more I love about you. ~" He says while caressing her cheek.
Her smile widens before she pulls him into a loving and passionate kiss. It went on for a moment before they stopped and pulled away, then got out of the tub.
(After the bath)
Ash got changed into a white shirt and blue shorts, Vaggie put on her nightgown and Charlie was now wearing her red pajamas. The three were in the nursery and getting done dressing the children in their PJs while giving them pacifiers.
Aurora was sleeping soundly in a Sentret onesie with the same Pokemon plushie in her arms. Aaron was wearing a Charizard onesie with a Scyther and Pikachu plushie next to him, and Levi, who was the last to be put in his crib, was dressed in a Pikachu onesie while clinging to the Psyduck plushie and of course, the rubber duck given to him by Lucifer… mostly the duck.
With all the children in their cribs, the adults took in the sight of them.
"Look at them." Charlie says as quietly as she can with still a lot of joy. "They're all so beautiful."
"They really are." Vaggie says as she looks at the three of them. "Honestly, looking at them now… I just… wanna snap the neck of anyone who touches them."
"You're not the only one." Ash says, which makes the two look surprised. "It's just instinct. I wanna keep them safe too. And like I've said, I will."
"We know you will, Sweetie." Charlie says before kissing him.
She and Vaggie then gave their kids kisses and said goodnight to them before leaving the room, leaving the man the only one there. Ash looked back at the children, then smiled. He gave them each a kiss on their little foreheads before he left as well.
He stretched as he walked to his bedroom, opening the door, and catching Charlie on top of Vaggie, kissing on the bed. They stopped in stunned silence for a moment before the man chuckled.
"Starting without me?" He joked while leaning his elbow on the doorway.
"Just getting caught up in the mood." Charlie says as he enters. "Sweetie, Vaggie wants to try being the one in the middle tonight."
"Really?"
"Yeah, what do ya say?"
"Alright, I can roll with that."
After agreeing, Ash lifted the covers and got in bed while wrapping his arms around the two. Vaggie had her wings retracted for comfort and had her arms wrapped around the two. Next to them in a smaller bed were Pikachu, Riolu, and Keekee huddled up and snoozing away.
"It's times like these I wish could last forever." Ash says while pulling them closer.
"I know." Vaggie says as she rests against him.
"Ya know, I still miss when you were shy back then." She says while resting a hand on his chest. "But I still like this version of you. ~" She says as he smiles back at her.
He gave them both goodnight kisses and they did the same with each other, ending the day perfectly. Everything was all in a good day's work in the end. One big happy family that had no worries at that moment and were… well… at the risk of sounding like a broken record, happy. However, they had yet to know what was to come of their future.
(Elsewhere)
Lucifer was walking through the halls of his castle, doing his best to be as quiet as possible, not that the hallways were loud either way. He stopped at one door that was slightly ajar and took a peek inside. In there were his youngest children sleeping on the couch while the TV was on.
Connor was in a button-down sleep shirt and boxers with his head leaning back on the couch, Cecilia was wearing a red robe while sleeping on his thigh, and Charles was wearing red pajamas while lying on the other side of him, mouth open and drooling as one of his legs was up and on the back cushion. She chuckled before going inside, turning off the TV, then looking back at them.
A minute or two later, he tucked them all in their respective beds the last one being Charles as he closed the door. He didn't mind.
After that, he went to the main room. Rather than the floor being littered with rubber ducks, the ducks were all moved to… well, he had to make a completely separate room just for the ducks, there were so many.
As he walked inside, he went up to one of the family portraits. He looked at his former wife and took a deep breath before putting his hands together.
"Hey, Lili. Hehe… uh…" He starts to say while scratching the back of his neck. "So, a lot of stuff happened. Adam is dead now… ah I probably should've started with something else. Uh… our little girl has done a lot lately. She actually fought in the Extermination and… guess what. Charlie got married recently. She's in a poliga… p-polygon… polygam… whatever it's called. She's dating this girl… and a guy at the same time?"
Lucifer cringed a bit as he tried to figure out the best way to explain his oldest daughter's relationship.
"Like, the girl's name is Maggie is an… ex-exorcist, which is kinda… ya know, it's amazing, kinda like us when we first met. An angel coming down to… yeah. And the guy: Ash, he's a human… surprisingly very young, but hey, everyone has their interests. And in other news. We're officially grandparents! Charlie has three kids!"
Lucifer laughed to himself before looking up at her smiling face. After a moment, he frowned and sighed before straightening up.
"To be totally honest, recently, I kinda started to realize some things. I can't let her know about this. With Adam dead, Heaven is likely to find out about what happened. And I'm afraid that if they find out that Charlie had children with a human and angel, much less the fact that the children are… hybrids, that they might… do something bad."
He takes another deep breath.
"Wherever you are right now, I don't know if this might be the best time to come back, but I really would… I could use you being here right now. Just here, at any point. At least to see her, see her kids… see her family… it'd really make her life. We really miss you." He says before resting his hand on the portrait, his wedding band gleaming for a moment before he sighs. "That's all I have to say. Goodnight."
He stepped back, then left the room back to his bedroom to sleep for the night. If only he knew where she was.
(Elsewhere)
"I beg your pardon?" The woman asked as she towered over the two angels, glaring down at them. "What do you mean by this 'boyfriend'?"
"Uh… w-well, you see, this guy is dating her-OW! OW!" Tenant started to say before Lute yanked him by the ear.

"Shut up! Stop talking!" She threatened him.
"So, my daughter is dating someone?" The woman asks while putting a hand on her hip. "Well, must've really gotten under your skin. And considering things…" She says before examining their injuries, mainly the missing arm and wings. "He must be a powerful one."
"Well, as powerful as a human who beat up Adam-OW! OKAY! I GET IT!" Tenant shouts before his ear is let free.
"... A human, beating that fucker up?" She asks in a questionable tone.
"... Yes?"
The woman stared before lowering her sunglasses, revealing herself as the one and only Lilith. Her brow furrowed.
"Bullshit." She says.
Lute looked back and forth before letting out a sharp exhale through her nostrils. "Yeah, it should be bullshit, but it happened. The point is-"
"I couldn't care less what my daughter is dating nor for that spoiled, self-righteous asshole, but if you expect me to believe that a simple mortal somehow could kill an angel, get your story straight." The woman says while turning around.
"Whether you believe it or not, I don't fucking care."
"A-and it actually wasn't the human who killed him." Tenant says while looking away as Lute was about to hit him before Lilith grabbed her hand mid-throw. "It was some tiny cyclops girl with an angelic knife."
The woman stared for a moment before smirking then laughing as she let go of the other angel. "That is fucking embarrassing to go out on." She pushed up her sunglasses. "Now, tell me why I should care?"
"I do not give a fuck whether you care or not!" Lute practically screamed at her out of anger.
The cat angel looked nervous as his one-armed lieutenant was getting frustrated while the woman didn't appear bothered in the slightest.

"Adam is dead, and I'm in charge! So you better go down there and sort out that little brat of yours and that human!" Lute yells at her.
"Again, I beg your pardon?" Lilith asks.
Lute: The deal is done.

Tenant just stood there as he listened to the singing suddenly start.
Now, the demons have won.
You best get up 'cause there's a brand new dawn.

Lilith: Haha… is that an order?

They took down Adam, that's no joke,
this situation is severe.

"Excuse me?" Lute says in disbelief.

As she sang, Tenant looked back at his missing wing then appeared ashamed. Then Lilith tossed the halo at them.
I'll just keep doing as I please, and who are you to disagree?
Now move, you bitch, you're blocking my sun!
"What?" Lute yelled, insulted while Tenant looked into the sky, not seeing a sun anywhere.
You mustn't know me very well,
You're speaking to the queen of Hell!
I could bring you down, have you begging on your knees.
When singing, Tenant noticed the sudden light shift and looked around as the hairs on his head and under his uniform rose.
I couldn't care less what you lead,
My power simply far exceeds,
Your authority and that's a guarantee.
"Uh, Lute-" Tenant tried to say.
"Oh, I'm sorry your highness-" Lute says as she stomps up to the woman. "But we've never needed your help until now, so with all due respect(Not really), get up-!" She then pointed downward. "And do someth-AGH!" She suddenly gagged as she was grabbed and lifted into the air by her throat.
"SHIT!" Tenant yelled while stepping back.
"What was that?" Lilith asks, horns out as the angel choked from her now demonic hand. "Mmm, that's what I thought."
She then chucked her right at the other angel, knocking them both back into the sand. Tenant groaned while rubbing his head as Lute sat up in his lap, rubbing her throat. She then looked to the side and hurriedly grabbed the halo.
Lilith: I always win…
The sky suddenly turned red as smoke filled the area and they looked frightened as Lilith approached.
I'm gonna make you wish you died with him…
For your sins.
Tenant attempted to crawl back with one arm while holding Lute in his other.
'Cause when I'm done…
Smoke surrounded them, filling them with more fear as the woman's blood-red eyes pierced through the sudden darkness.
You'll barely recognize what you've become.
Oh, this will be fun.
Tenant was stunned, unable to remove his gaze from the woman out of fear of what she'd do to him. His arm tightened around Lute's waist, but she didn't even react to it, clutching the halo close as she looked in horror… tears streaming down her face as she realized coming here was a mistake.
