Hello, everyone, and welcome back to "A Long Distance Ship". In the last chapter, Ash and his friends arrived in Fallarbor Town for May's second Pokemon Contest! The previous chapter covered Ash's battle against Drew and most of the first half of AG050. This chapter will finish off the events of that episode as well as all of AG051. And we will also have another person join in the emailing. Here we go with the next chapter!

Subject: Battle with Drew

Hey, Misty. The contest is going to be happening later today, so I decided to talk to you about yesterday's battle. After spending the night thinking about what you and Drew said, I think you guys were right. My confusion DID lead to me losing to Drew, and I truly DO need to work on the bonds with my Pokémon. I have five more badges to go, and as we head over to my gym battle in Lavaridge Town, I am going to work on the bonds with all of my Pokémon! As for the contest, I think I am going to have May tell you about it. I already gave her your email address, so expect an email from her soon! Hope Tracey's visit goes well!

Hey, Misty! Ash told me all about the emails you two have been exchanging ever since he left for Hoenn, so I decided to email you as well. My second contest went much better than the first, but that doesn't mean that it was smooth sailing. Before the contest, me and Grace (the girl with a Medicham that Ash told you about in a prior email) ended up encountering Team Rocket. They were selling phony PokéBlocks, but we ended up dealing with them easily. During the contest, I ended up facing off against Team Rocket AGAIN, as Jessie was competing with her Dustox. She was using a machine to help boost her Pokémon's appeal (read: cheating), but Beautifly and I were able to beat her. Ash and Pikachu helped send Team Rocket packing after they were exposed. The contest went smoothly after that, and Max was able to get some good highlights of the show. I saw that Togetic was interested in my contest practice, so I decided to send them over for you guys to see. Hope it is going well at the gym!

Subject: Tracey's Visit

Hey Ash! Glad to hear that you are learning from a trainer with a different skill set from you, even if it did take some convincing from me. Tracey's visit to the gym went pretty well for the most part. He loved our new Pokémon. But of course, he wasn't the only old "friend" who stopped by the gym today. Cassidy and Biff from Team Rocket decided to drop into the gym and steal our Luvdisc, something about removing love from the world; that sounds stupid, and I am not saying that just because I am a girl. We ended up beating them up, the Luvdisc especially as they finally bonded with each other, which is a good thing. As for May's contest, tell her that Togetic loved seeing the highlights of the show, and that she definitely deserved that first ribbon! Talk to you soon!

Misty
