Hello everybody and welcome back to another exciting chapter of "A Long Distance Ship"! In the last part, Ash Ketchum had his gym battle against Norman, resulting in him winning his fifth gym badge! Misty also had a gym battle in her gym, and she just sent highlights of the battle to Ash. How will Ash react to the highlights? And where is he going next? Well, let's find out! The regular schedule return starts now!

Hey there, Misty. I just saw the highlights of your battle with Gilbert, and I got to say that I am really impressed with how he has grown since his last match with you. Anyways, today we decided to stop by Professor Birch's lab as our first leg of our journey to Fortree City and my sixth gym badge. We ended up learning that Professor Oak traveled all the way here from the Kanto region to see Professor Birch, and he brought over a set of Kanto starters. Gives me happy memories of my own Bulbasaur, Charizard, and Squirtle. If only I could get them all together for one more battle sometime… Anyways, we ended up getting wrapped up in a Team Rocket plot as they wanted to steal both the Kanto and Hoenn starter sets for themselves. But thanks to some quick thinking from our groups (Brock, Birch, and I in one group, and May, Max, and Oak in the other group), we were able to get the Pokemon free and send the TRio blasting off yet again. Anyways, the ferry for our next stop leaves tomorrow morning. I don't know when I will talk to you next, but I hope that it is soon!

Ash

Hey Ash! Glad to hear that you enjoyed seeing my rematch with Gilbert. As for what happened today with the professors, I think that it could have gone a lot better for all of you even without Team Rocket's involvement. Glad to hear that May and Max got to see the Kanto starters for the first time. Even if she didn't get any of them, I have to admit that some of the Kanto starters are good fits for her team, and maybe if she gets one someday they will fight by her side in the Grand Festival the same way your Bulbasaur, Charizard, and Squirtle fought by your side in the Indigo, Orange, and Silver Leagues. And especially the former as some of the best battles they had came from the Silver Conference. Squirtle vs. Quilava… Bulbasaur vs. Meganium… Charizards vs. Blastoise… *smile* Anyways, good luck on the road to Fortree City! My Pokemon and I will be rooting for you!

And that is it for this edition of "A Long Distance Ship". It was fun to post a new chapter every day from the first to the seventh, but I am glad to get back to my normal routine of posting on Mondays and Fridays. From now until the end of Season 7, I will be doing that upload schedule (and I totally didn't hold off last Friday's chapter so I could post the Season 7 finale on the birthday of one Jesus H. Christ.) Anyways, you guys showed your support all throughout Pokeshipping Week. We got the 50th person to follow the story in Nix Seven, and two reviews from Jeannot2978. Thanks for your support guys. You also gave the story a lot of views... at least... IF IT WERE NOT FOR THAT STUPID BUG! It has been almost two months, and that stupid bug that has been preventing us from seeing new viewers STILL hasn't been fixed! Like, come on! I would have had 20K viewers for this story and 3K for Misty Chronicles by now if it weren't for this buggy ass website! That is why I need your support, guys. Email the support team, spam fictionpress on the site now and forever known as Twitter, and do whatever you can to get the fucking view counter to work! Oh, and favorite, follow, and review this story as well...
