Hello, everybody! Welcome to another exciting chapter of "A Long Distance Ship"! In the last part, May got a new Pokemon for her team, while Ash had a brief reunion with one of his! Now they are back on the road to Fortree City, but are going to make a stop along the way. What is the stop for, and how will it go for our heroes? Let's find out!

Hey, Misty. I am glad to hear that you got a new evolution! And I think you were right, Kingdra would have been awesome to have in the Johto region. Who knows, maybe it would carry you through important battles. Anyways, it was quite the journey from our last stop to here. The day after my brief reunion with Bulbasaur, we met a fisher who was trying to capture this enormous Whiscash. He had a Master Ball, which could supposedly capture any Pokemon without fail. "Supposedly" because the Whiscash ended up eating the Master Ball. Yesterday, Pikachu and I ended up separated from the others in a foggy mountain, where we met this girl named Castilla. She is an aspiring archeologist, and I ended up helping her aspire to learn more about an ancient civilization with a future version of herself (long story). That leads us to today, as my friends and I have decided to make a pit stop here in Rubello Town. May learned there is a special contest happening for trainers with at least one ribbon to her name. And because she has earned two ribbons, she decided she will take a shot at winning number three tomorrow. We ended up meeting Drew here, and he will be entering as well. But he won't be the only challenge May will have to go up against, as we also met a coordinator named Savannah who is a part of a group of Pokemon loving mothers (who honestly gave me some North Petalburg flashbacks). May got to spend some time with her, which I think will be helpful for her to win. May is currently training outside with her Pokemon for the contest, which I am sure will go well for her. Anyways, May and I will talk to you after the contest!

Ash

PS: Yeah, I guess you are right… but I doubt that any of our fights got as bad as the one May and I have had the other day…

Hey there Ash! Glad to hear that you have made it to town safely. I looked up a picture of Whiscash, and I have to say that it is such a cool Pokemon. It would have been so awesome if it was caught, especially with how big it was based on your descriptions. And if I was in the Hoenn region with you, Whiscash would have been an amazing addition to my collection of Pokemon… My bias towards Water-type Pokemon aside, the contest sounds like it is going to be an interesting one, and with some tough competition with all of her competitors having at least a single ribbon. Tell her that Togetic and I wish her luck on winning her third ribbon!

Misty

PS: "honestly gave me North Petalburg flashbacks" Lol. Were they as insane as the North Petalburgians?

And that is it for this chapter of "A Long Distance Ship". We got some reviews last chapter from our old friend Ian, who hasn't been reviewing as much, and only covered the first three chapters of the story since we started up again. But hey, better late then never I suppose. (Especially since the damn view counter isn't working. It has been over two months, so WORK ON IT!) Anyways, remember to favorite, follow, and review to show you support for the story, and I will see you on Friday!
