Hello there, everybody, and welcome back to another chapter of "A Long Distance Ship"! In the last part, May ended up losing in the Rubello Town Pokemon Contest, but ended up picking herself up for next time. Anyways, we are back on the road for Fortree City, but not before Ash is stopping at a Pokemon Center once again after a little competition. What happened? Well, let's find out!

Hey there, Misty. We are at a small town Pokemon Center resting up as a lot has happened today as well as on our way from Rubello Town. Not long after leaving Rubello Town behind, we encountered a Spoink who lost its pearl. My Pokedex says that the pearl is very important to a Spoink, to the point where it would die without it. We helped it get it back, especially when Team Rocket wanted to get the pearl for themselves. After a little more traveling, we ended up learning about PokeRinger. It is where Pokemon take to the skies and try to get rings into a hooked goal. May and I ended up entering with our Beautifly and Taillow respectively. We were not the only ones who ended up entering, as James ended up entering too, borrowing Jessie's Dustox. And, believe it or not, didn't even bother using an alias to hide the fact that he is a known criminal! The two of us ended up facing each other in the finals, as something great happened for my Pokemon. What was it? Well, you are just going to have to watch the coverage of the finals that I attached to the email! All I am going to say now is that it is awesome. ;)

Ash

PS: Yeah… May acted very similar to how I did in Dewford Town…

Hey there, Ash! Glad to hear that you made it to the next Pokemon Center safely! I just watched your video of the finals between you and James, and I got to say that I am really proud of you for getting a new evolution and for winning your first ever PokeRinger competition, Ash! As for what happened right before that, Spoink sure sounds like a weird Pokemon, literally being unable to live without its pearl… who on earth can explain that? Anyways, today was an interesting day for me. A challenger came over to my gym, and I decided to use a Pokemon I haven't used in a long time in Starmie. Starmie ended up learning a new move in the process, which I am very excited about as it will give me even more options to battle with in my future gym battles! I will keep up the good work as a gym leader, and you better keep up the good work during your gym challenge, Ash. Fortree City isn't too far away from you now!
