Hello, everybody and welcome back to another chapter of "A Long Distance Ship". In the last chapter, Ash and friends started their path to Lilycove City, a stop before their main destination of Mossdeep City. Now, we are stopping at another major city for the seventh Pokemon film, and the second one in this story, Destiny Deoxys. Honestly my least favorite of the four Hoenn films, but how will it go for our heroes? Let's find out!

Subject: LaRousse City

Hey, Misty. May, Brock, Max, and I are currently in LaRousse City. LaRousse is a big city in the Hoenn region known for its advanced technology. There was so much to do here in LaRousse City, but unfortunately no gym. But they DID have a place called the Battle Tower, where I took part in a battle with a boy named Tory Lund. The two of us ended up losing pretty badly to our opponents. I soon met Tori's dad, who explained that he has been afraid of Pokemon ever since an event four years ago. His only friend was a mysterious green spirit. I spent most of the rest of the day trying to help Tory out. The following day, the craziest thing happened, as Rayquaza AND Deoxys, two legendary Pokemon, appeared in the city, and we ended up trapped as the two Pokemon fought. We soon found out that the Deoxys was in LaRousse because it wanted to reunite with its friend, which turned out to be Tory's strange little green friend. We had to try and help the Deoxys out, and at the end of the day, we ended up having the city's security system work a little bit too well as we were all attacked by blocks. But we were able to get out of the situation, and Tory managed to finally be able to touch Pokemon again and even befriended a Plusle and Minun. Anyways, we plan on heading out of LaRousse tomorrow and resuming our journey soon after. We should reach Lilycove City by the time I talk to you next. Can't wait to talk to you again!

Hey there, Ash. LaRousse sounds like a pretty fun place to be with how far advanced it is, and from how you described it. And with so many different Pokemon that you met within the city limits, it kind of makes me wish that I was with you in Hoenn. But you know my sisters, they are unable to do any serious things relating to the gym without me there… I looked up what Deoxys and Rayquaza are like, and they sound like crazy Pokemon, as well as some very powerful Pokemon. I am glad that you were able to get out of another dangerous situation, but please, Ash. Try and keep yourself out of danger if you are able to. I don't want you to end up dead whenever you meet a legendary Pokemon again. Good luck on the rest of the path to Lilycove City, Ash.
