Hello there, everybody, and welcome to the final chapter of "A Long Distance Ship" (at least, for Season 7.) Ash and his friends are about to start their journey to Mossdeep City, but it is going to take them a lot longer to get there than they expected. How will the first day of their island hopping journey go? Well, let's find out! And make sure to read all the way to the end for a major announcement!

Subject: Bomba Island

Hey, Misty. I am currently on Bomba Island after we got on the wrong ship because I decided to stuff my face like a Piloswine. And because there isn't a direct route to Mossdeep, we are going to have to do a little island hopping. I am sure we will run into several rare water Pokemon, and I will tell you all about the ones we see. Anyways, we ended up meeting this trainer named Jimmy, who was at a school for judges of Pokemon battles. He ended up judging a battle between me and Brock, but it didn't end up going so well because of Jimmy's lack of self confidence. He told me he used to be a trainer like I was back in the day, but he only got a single badge, and only from helping the Cerulean Gym Leader clean up the gym's pool. And I know that you would never do such a thing, so it must have been one of your sisters. In fact, he hadn't won a single Pokemon battle when we met him, and believes he got his Pokemon from luck alone! But Professor Serena, the woman who runs the school, says that it was his heart that earned him his Pokemon friends. She was proven correct when THEY decided to steal all of Jimmy's Pokemon. Jimmy clinged onto the machine they were using to try and break them out, and when it failed, the Pokemon attacked until his Wartortle evolved into Blastoise and sent the TRio blasting off again. Serena then suggested that Jimmy go off and try being a trainer again, something I agreed with. Anyways, the boat that is taking us to the next island is coming, I should probably get going. Talk to you when I get to the next island.

PS: Yeah, thinking about it, running off from May's contest to help Swellow master Aerial Ace was a pretty selfish idea. I know it is too late to apologize to her for the Lilycove Contest, but I promise that I won't run off on one of her contests to train my Pokemon.

Hey, Ash. Sorry you couldn't make it to Mossdeep City. But island hopping is a good way to see more of the region. It will be just like our time in the Whirl Islands. Such good times… catching Corsola, competing in the Whirl Cup, beating you, encountering the legendary Lugia… Anyways, that place sounds like a cool place to learn, and sort of makes you think about all of the hard work that judges of Pokemon battles have to go through. I am glad that you helped out Jimmy during your time on the island. Hope you enjoy your island hopping adventure, Ash, and don't forget to tell me about all the cool Water-type Pokemon that you encounter!

Misty

The moment that Misty hit "Send", she got out of her seat and headed to her sister's room.

"DAISY! DID YOU GIVE AWAY ONE OF THE BADGES WHILE I WAS AWAY FROM THE GYM?! I HAVE PROOF THAT YOU TOUCHED THEM! AND I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT!"

And that just about wraps it up this chapter of "A Long Distance Ship". And that also means that Season 7 of "A Long Distance Ship" is coming to a close. Like with Season 6, I am going to be taking a break from this story to focus on "The Misty Chronicles". I already have an outline for some of the episodes, but I haven't gotten around to writing any of them just yet. Add "Make sure to work on both of my stories in the ALDS-verse at the same time" to my New Year's resolutions 2024 list. "The Misty Chronicles" Season 7 will come out sometime in spring 2024, and we will resume Ash's travels through the Hoenn region in the summer after "The Misty Chronicles". I already watched all of Seasons 8 and 9 and I'm just starting Season 10 so I know when Ash will be at a Pokemon Center and talk with Misty. Merry Christmas to you all, and I hope to see you come back to the story in 2024!
