Unaware that Lancex hadn't left but followed the medic, Red went to Aquaformer. She was waiting impatiently for him to come. And while he was scanning her, she noticed the bot who had followed the medic. She hadn't recognized him before when he was busted, but now that he was repaired, she knew him instantly. She had been a royal guard/nurse bot as Lancex grew up in the palace he was sparked into. Neither had realized that the other had survived. Both had assumed that the other had not survived. Aquaformer was about to say something when Lancex shook his helm. She understood instantly. He wanted her to say nothing for now. She merely nodded and allowed Red Alert to perform his assessment.
"I don't even want to ask what you think you were doing, Aquaformer" Red uttered as he repaired her.
"Well, I am not telling you either. Only when Optimus is available will I explain anything" Aquaformer retorted, knowingly driving the medic nuts. She was much older than he brother, so much that they hadn't realized they were brother and sister at first. A data scan had revealed that. She was an adult and had left home just before he was sparked.
"Well, Does Optimus even know you went on a mission or did you leave on your own again?" Red asked, fearing he already knew the answer.
"I don't have to answer that" Aquaformer shot back. This time, not only did Red shake his head but Lancex took. True, Aquaformer was a fierce defender and had taken down big mechs and such, but she was as stubborn as they came at times, refusing to listen as well. Only when she noticed Lancex shaking his head did she answer truthfully. "I went out on my own. Optimus was talking about that map thing and I thought I had a lead on it. I didn't want to let things get away from us."
"Map thing?" Lancex asked, startling both Red and Aquaformer. Red hadn't realized he was there and Aquaformer hadn't expected him to ask.
"Yes, Vector Prime had a universal type digital map he had created to help us get rid of the black hole. An evil tyrant known as Megatron stole it" Aquaformer explained to her former charge, one she fiercely protected when she originally guarded/watched over him.
"And what did you find?" Red asked, warily, hoping that Aquaformer made this worth it. Aquaformer wasn't sure she should show this before telling Prime. She looked between the two, not sure if she should reveal what she found yet or not. She really only wanted to explain things once. Red, frustrated but competed in his assessment, called for Optimus. Red knew one thing, if one bot could make Aquaformer talk, it was Optimus for some reason. Or at least it had been in the past.
