I don't own Star Wars Rebels

Chopper, keep an eye on our surroundings," Hera ordered the droid, which had taken off its charging station and connected to the system.

They were rapidly moving out of Lothal's atmosphere, entering the open compass. The entire crew, minus Ezra and Sabine, was in the cockpit, ready for the mission.

"Commander Sato said that the fleet has temporarily withdrawn," Kanan said.

"I don't want to be caught off guard," the Twi'lek clarified.

In a couple of minutes, they were over the part of Lothal where the ship they were supposed to reach was located. In appearance, it resembled a miniature star destroyer, with several hemispheres located on its wide planes that looked as if they could open up.

At first glance, the ship did not have any guns, but if you looked closely, you could see pairs of guns on the side surfaces. Plus, he probably had at least a few TIEs in the inner hangar. Although, given the ship's status, it probably wasn't carrying any Imperial fighters at all.

"So... relay ship, short for 'RELS', in line of sight. Chop, make us invisible so I can dock, " the Twi'lek said.

"Woob, woob!

After receiving confirmation, Hera yanked the wheel back on herself, lifting the ship sharply skyward, across the imperial ship. They were rapidly approaching the bottom of the ship, and already they could see the four passageways leading to the inner hangar.

"Once we're inside, Chopper and I get out and head to the nearest connection port to get access codes. Hera stays on the ship for a sudden retreat, Zeb covers the ship.

Chopper suddenly spoke up. "Woob, woob, woob!"

"The plan is changing," Hera said, turning the wheel and steering the Ghost toward the sides of the imperial ship.

"I didn't understand what he said," Lasat grumbled, when the Ghost docked (or rather 'stuck') to the side of the RELS.

"You'll see," the Twi'lek replied и, turning off the ship's power supply so they wouldn't be detected. "Chop, switch off.

- Woob!

- Chop.

"Woob, woob, woo..." The droid clicked off.

"I suggest you don't turn it back on," Zeb suggested, chuckling.

"If it wasn't for the mission, I would have agreed," Kanan chuckled.

"Kanan!

"No more talking, no more talking," the older Jedi said, but he exchanged glances with Zeb, laughing softly.

The giggles stopped after a minute, and the crew began to stare out into space. A couple of minutes later, two modified Imperial starfighters that somewhat resembled the Grand Inquisitor's starfighter popped out of hyperspace.

"This is an unpleasant complication for us," Kanan said. – I'm not a hundred percent sure, but there may be two new Inquisitors in these fighters.

"Are these the ones Ezra met?" asked Hera.

"Probably," the older Jedi nodded. – I don't think there will be more than two Inquisitors in our Outer Rim sector.

"Then I suggest we meet them and avenge Ezra," Zeb said, banging his fist together.

"Revenge is not the business of the Jedi," Kanan said philosophically.

"You're the only Jedi here," Lasat snorted. – And I don't think Ezra would listen to you about it, either."

"Ezra..."

"You can bet on it after the mission is over," Hera interrupted, still watching the fighters fly by below them, apparently heading for the hangars.

"We'll wait another ten minutes and start the mission," Hera said, getting up from her chair and going to the Chopper to turn it on.

As soon as the droid became active again, it began to swing its arms, performing some "combat" techniques.

"Hush, hush," Hera reassured him. – We'll wait a while and get down to business.

"Woob, woob," the Chopper piped, then rolled up and connected to the port, ready to dock the ship for entry.

They sat in silence for about ten minutes, mentally preparing for the task at hand. Then Kanan stood up, Zeb behind him, and Chop bringing up the rear.

"Given that the plan has changed, I'll need some help, since I can't handle two Inquisitors at once," the Jedi said.

"I'll watch your back," Lasat said.

A few minutes later, they were descending the stairs, and a few minutes later, Kanan was using his lightsaber to burn a hole in the wall that they were about to climb through.

"Spectre-2, we're inside," the Jedi said over the comlink, watching as Zeb dragged Chopper across the passageway.

Once they were all on this side of the wall, they moved slowly down the corridor, occasionally checking for stormtroopers or other Imperial troops.

However, after ten minutes of running slowly through the corridors, they didn't encounter any Imperials (nor any connection ports).

"Spectre-2, do you see anything?" Kanan asked over the comlink.

"All clear, Ghost 1," the Twi'lek replied. – Is something wrong?"

"We didn't see anyone, not even an Imperial," Kanan complained.

"Find a port and connect," Hera said, ending the call.

Only after an additional ten minutes had passed did they discover the first connection port of all time. Without much thought, Chopper rolled up and connected to the system.

"Go ahead, take the codes and we're off," Zeb grumbled, not liking the absolute silence.

"Woob, woob! Chopper squeaked, turning his head but not disconnecting from the port.

- What? - Kanan asked, turning his head in the droid's direction. – Since when has the Empire so protective of its ports?"

"It doesn't matter," Lasat said. – As I understand it, we'll have to go to central headquarters.

"I'll inform Hera of the change -" the Jedi began but was interrupted by the droid.

- Woob! Woob, woob, woob, woob!

"Are you sure?" Kanan asked.

"Woob, woob! Woob!

"What does he say? I don't understand a damn thing."

"Chopper says you can try to get access codes in the hangar instead of going to the main building," Kanan explained. – Can you get any other information?"

"Woob," the droid beeped, turning toward the port. After a second, to disconnected from the port. "Woob, woob, woob.

"There aren't many people in the hangar at the moment," Kanan translated. – If we're quite enough, we can do this without anyone noticing."

"–Chop, lead the way to the hangar."

The droid rolled in the right direction, and Lasat followed.

"Spectre-2,"Kanan called, pulling out his comlink.

"Spectre-2 here," a Twi'lek voice said. – Is something wrong?"

"The plan has changed," the Jedi said. - The nearest ports do not issue access codes. But Chop suggests we can get them from the hangar.

"The Inquisitors?

"They don't seem to be there." We'll get in and out quickly.

"You don't have any explosives with you?"

"Uh... no, I'm used to Sabine doing most of that," Kanan said awkwardly, scratching the back of his head.

"You mean everyone else is doing it, except you and me," Hera chuckled into the comlink. – That's all. Go ahead and bring us the security clearance codes.

"Spectre-1is out," Kanan said.

With that, the Jedi slung the comlink on his belt and started to catch up with Chopper and Zeb, who were already at the far end of the corridor.

After thirty minutes of walking through the same empty corridors, both Kanan and Zeb were worried and on edge. Not a single stormtrooper for more than forty minutes – this is a serious mess. Once every ten minutes, the Jedi contacted Hera to check on her and make sure that no one else had arrived on the ship.

"Maybe it's all a trap," Lasat suggested, holding the weapon in his hands, ready to attack or defend at any moment.

"Then it's a long time coming," Kanan said. "They could have done it half an hour ago, but they're not doing it yet.

"Then it doesn't make any sense," Zeb grumbled, " the ship has experimental status and has to transmit a huge amount of information. For such a "warehouse", there must be a lot of fighters here to protect this very information.

"Well, it's just a test ship for now," Kanan said. "So..."

"Woob, woob!" The droid piped up.

"We're five minutes from the hangar," the Jedi translated for Lasat, then pulled out his comlink to notify the Twi'lek. "Spectre-2, we're almost at the hangar. As soon as we collect the security clearance codes and head back, I'll contact you again.

"Noted," Hera confirmed.

So Kanan put away his comlink, then picked up his lightsaber, and Zeb took the weapon in a more comfortable grip so that, if necessary, he could swing it and take down nearby stormtroopers. Even Chopper pulled out his stun gun, which the Jedi took a step away from, because no one knows what's in the droid's "head".

Armed, they continued to advance. Five minutes later, they were at the closed doors that led directly to the hangar. Zeb shifted his hands and was ready to shoot back. Kanan went to the panel and pressed the necessary buttons.

A second later, the doors opened and... the hangar was empty. Rather, in the hangar were two modified TIEs belonging to the Inquisitors. There were also a couple of transporters to transport the imperial troops. But there were no stormtroopers or other personnel.

"Well, that's even better for us," Zeb chuckled, easing up on the bench press. "Chop, connect, download the codes, and let's get out of here."

"Woob!– " the droid said, agreeing.

Chopper removed the stun gun, then rolled to the port located a meter from the entrance and connected to it. He stood still for about a minute, then passed out.

- Woob!

"Super," Kanan nodded as he received confirmation that the security clearance codes had been uploaded. – We can go back.

"Uh," Lasat mused. "Given that there's absolutely no one here, can we steal the ships?" Disable the tracker, and there will be new ships for the fleet.

"We don't know if there are any other anti-theft devices," the Jedi disagreed. "But we could-chop, can you blow up the ships somehow?"

"Woob, woob, woob!"

"Ah, next time, I'll definitely thank Sabine for all her explosions during missions," Kanan muttered to himself. "Okay, let's go back.

With that, the three of them turned around and headed back down the path they had taken earlier, but they were walking faster now, eager to get off the ship as quickly as possible.

However, twenty minutes later, they were met with closed doors that had been open before. And there was no port nearby for the droid to open them. Zeb noticed, however, that Kanan hadn't drawn his lightsaber as he had in the beginning.

"Why don't you just carve a passage?" he asked.

"We don't need them to know we were here," the Jedi explained, then turned to the droid. "Chop, find us an alternative route.

A second later, the droid turned ninety degrees and headed down another corridor.

Zeb grumbled under his breath, clearly annoyed that they would have to make a detour when they could have just cut a passage. And the doors would open sooner or later, and then no one would notice. But Kanan simply followed the droid, and Lasat trailed after him.

They had been walking for about twenty minutes, turning from time to time, still not meeting a single stormtrooper. At one point, the Jedi contacted Hero to clarify the status of the mission.

Suddenly the Chopper stopped. An antenna popped out of his head and started spinning. He stood there for about a minute.

"Chop, is something wrong?" Kanan asked, alarmed.

"Woob..." the droid squeaked slightly, then removed the antenna, turned around, and drove back at full speed. "Woob, woob, woob!"

"Zeb, let's go quickly!" - translated by the Jedi, and then also ran.

"What's going on?" lasat asked quickly, catching up.

As an answer, there was the sound of running feet behind them. They turned their heads and saw about a dozen stormtroopers running straight towards them, clearly aware of their presence.

"Spectre-2, our presence has been declassified!" Kanan spoke into the comlink.

"Spectre-1, I'm... in... Ghost..." came the reply.

"Communications are being jammed," Kanan said. "Chop?"

"Woob!" the droid squeaked sharply, clearly indicating that this wasn't the time when stormtroopers were chasing them.

"Uh... I think we missed our turn," Zeb remarked at one point.

"Woob!" the droid squeaked, still rolling.

- Can we fight? - lasat suggested, glancing back at the previous turn, where no one had yet appeared. "The Ghost is in the other direction."

"As soon as we find a connection port nearby, we'll stop and fight," Kanan agreed. "Chop, be ready to close the door if anything happens.

Five minutes later, they were at a door that had a port next to it. Chopper connected, ready to block the passage at any moment. They waited for the stormtroopers.

Five minutes later, there was still no one there.

"Can we go on the offensive then?" Zeb counter-offered.

- Chop? -Kanan called.

The droid pulled out its antenna again and twirled it.

"Woob, woob.

"Hmm, it's strange, but now he can only see two people," Kanan said, looking at the droid in confusion.

"That's all you need," a gruff voice said from behind them.

They turned their heads and saw two people. High and impressive, and a low but elegantly technological pair. Their description matched what Sabine had told him.

"That's probably the one -" Zeb snarled, ready to jump in and kick their ass at any moment but was stopped by a hand.

"Don't get worked up," Kanan said, but he also lowered his hand to the weapon at his belt.

"Ah, so that's what a boy's teacher looks like," the girl purred. – Looking at you now, it's no wonder he couldn't fightback properly when he has such a meek master.

"However, under the leadership of the new Grand Inquisitor, he will be able to achieve higher achievements," the man standing next to him said loudly.

"Grand Inquisitor...?" Kanan almost choked.

"Don't worry about the boy," the Seventh Sister said, pulling a weapon from her back. – After his new training, you will see each other at least once more. At your execution.

After a moment, all three lightsabers activated.
