Before we start this new chapter, I wanna apologize for the lack of an update in January like I originally promised. I caught Da Ronia during Christmas, which was the worst gift I ever received. I'm fine now, don't worry, but my head felt like I was boosting around nonstop and I crashed headfirst into every spike trap along the path. As a result, I barely had time or energy to actually write. Plus my YouTube channel has gotten a massive spike, going from 108 subs to 291, pretty much doubling in size. Much of my focus went over there from that reason, and I think I'm doing something right. Not begging for subs or anything, just being transparent on what's been going on.

Now back to the reason you actually came here…

We're back! Back the to newest Arc of Sonic DxD, and the start of the moment you've all been DYING for! The introduction of the main purpose of this story: The Chaos Emeralds! This Arc will feature even more high-speed action! Thrills and chills! Twists and turns... and one Boss Battle much later on like you've never seen before! In fact, I guarantee its gonna make you stop and reread the paragraph before said battle to make sure you read it correctly. NONE of you would have ever seen it coming.

Of course, this all comes at a much later date, but for now grab your favorite snack and hold onto your favorite Waifu; cause its gonna blow you away! Lets respond to reviews and start the Riser Arc of Sonic DxD!

Bakuganann that was hilarious making a Take That at McDonald's by having one of Eggman's robots advertise it by selling it to Raynare. You made a very brilliant joke with McDonalds there.

Bakuganman: ...? Ok... I saw the little drama between you and someone called "Da Man", can we not have that in my comments section? While yes, he was a bit of an asshole, how did you mistake a robot selling and advertising Raynare McDonalds? Not only does that not make any sense, but you kinda confirmed to me you just skimmed through it and not read the actual story at all. You said in your second review quote: "since a Fallen Angel receiving a McDonalds form Eggman's robot ( which Eggman stole) is incredibly unexpected not to mention random in the right way possible." Repeating the same mistake Da Man called you out on, as that isn't what happened at all and you didn't go back and check the context like he suggested.

I also don't appreciate using autism as an excuse. As I don't know you, I can't say if you have it or not. If you do, then that's fine. Nothing against you. I have many friends who are also fellow writers on this platform who also have it; but I have serval nieces and nephews with this same disorder, and they don't get things that wrong unless they rushed through something, which happens with anyone if they don't get all the information.

If this does happen again, just ignore it. Don't feed the trolls under the bridge, they'll just move to another one without goats or little girls with talking backpacks to feed on.

Yo! I'm back once more, and I'm not gonna lie. this bonus chapter is very interesting. I do hope that Raynare do get some redemption in the story, cause she was treated like a wet rag in the anime, so I do hope she gets another chance. Also XD Eggman eating some McDonald's and having it wrong, at least he knows most people's pain with wrong orders. And again with these little puns XD Eggman eat an Egg Mcmuffin LMAO. But again, this little team up between these two will be very interesting. I believe Eggman will have a bit of an involvement in the Excalibur Arc, but it'll probably be one of his minions. either way I'm excited for the Riser Arc.

Bakuganman: Glad you liked the Bonus Chapter, but Raynare is long gone in this story sadly. The Bonus Chapter takes place AFTER Raynare's first Boss Battle when she trapped Sonic in his memories, and around the same time Rias was summoned to heal Issei on that same day. I do find her an interesting character as stated before, but how much redemption can you give someone that emotional manipulated you and a nun, as well as trying to kill both of you and your alien Hedgehog friend several times with no remorse before, during and after the fact? Even though Sonic has been known to turn people good, even former enemies, doing that after all the build-up and dynamic between him and Raynare would just seem VERY forced. I do have plans for her in another story called The Italian Dragon Emperor, though that story is pure DxD without our Blue Bomber.

If people want it, I'm willing to write more bonus chapters to give more insight to how exactly Raynare and Eggman's relationship went on behind the scenes, but haven't gotten any feedback on it as of yet. And yeah, had to make some Egg-puns with Eggman. It was too good to pass up. XD Keep being you bro, never change *thumbs up emoji*!

Chapter 22: A New Roommate!

Issei's eyes began to open once again for another new day in Kuoh. In fact, he actually woke up seconds before his alarm went off. As soon as the beeping started, he immediately shut it off, not in the mood to hear what the "Waifu of the Day" had to say. Its been about 4 days since Raynare was finally defeated by him and Sonic, then blasted beyond oblivion courtesy of Rias. They still haven't found any of Sonic's Chaos Emeralds yet, and even Issei was beginning to wonder if they even existed at all. He DID believe Sonic wasn't from this planet, that news reporting did find that large piece of a possibly larger UFO, though no new information ever came about it; which made Issei wonder if that was just clickbait from the network in an attempt to pull in some views. Nothing interesting happened ever since.

His routine did change a bit now that he was a Devil. For starters, he had to get up and get to school an hour sooner for club activities, not that any were scheduled in his time with the Devil Club as of yet, and he arrived to said club half-asleep because of it. Other than that, it was an adjustment that currently had no affect on his life… unless you count him getting caught with Asia's bra in his hands.

It wasn't his fault! He wasn't trying to be a pervert that time, it was an accident! She had hung up her clothes on a clothesline while she was using the clubhouse shower! She was staying at the clubhouse as with the Fallen now driven out, she had nowhere else to go. By the time he realized he walked into a "titty hammock" that latched on his face, he also realized he had walked right into trouble!… Koneko didn't help the situation either…

As for Sonic, he went back to assisting Rias via being the delivery boy again with the flyers (they still argued at times, and they could easily go on for over an hour if no one stopped them), and even Issei had to do it as well. Why? Apparently that's how you climb the ranks of the Devil totem pole, but in addition to delivering, Issei also had to make actual contracts as a Devil now… he had yet to make one however, despite that his customers left him high-praise reviews.

This was of course after he showed up on his bike, for his power as a Devil was too weak to go through a teleportation glyph on his own (which Rias commented was the first time ever hearing that, in her's or ANY Devil family). Sonic did offer to take him, but both Rias and Issei agreed that was a bad idea. The last thing Rias wanted was more attention but when asked about it, she shut down. If these clients knew about the supernatural and DID see Sonic, then what's the problem? They'd probably mistake him for a Youkai like others have already.

She never gave them an answer, or at least not a straight one, so the boys just dropped it and never brought it back up again. It was probably more politics, but they couldn't be sure. Besides everything mentioned, it wasn't too much of an inconvenience to Issei's life.

But hey… at least he wasn't bothered by sunlight anymore.

He got to school on his own today, and Sonic hadn't shown up yet, and Rias hadn't sent him out for a flyer run either. Issei figured out pretty quickly that was just his thing, the Hedgehog ran with the wind, going wherever it takes him. It was probably also a way for the rodent to cope while being stranded in an alien world until they could find a way to send him back. With how much he loved to run, it made Issei as well as his new club mates wonder what Sonic's world was like. From the pictures he once showed, it had a variety of environments and at least one city, like with actual people, but he would always go on about the loop-dee-loops… a favorite of his, no doubt.

Though he once mentioned if he didn't get a set time of sleep, it spoils that incredible speed he possesses...

While the club was sitting around in the clubhouse, no one doing much at the moment, Rias called Issei up to her desk. "Uh, if this is about that last contract…" Issei went to try and explain, thinking Rias called him over for all the times he did not make a pact. Don't misinterpret her however, she was disappointed but understood the mistake as he wasn't a Devil for very long. Now if she was Sona, she wouldn't let it fly once, but Rias had her own way of doing things. She waved off Issei off with a warm smile before he could finish.

"Don't worry about it, Issei. There's plenty of other opportunities for them," Rias assured him, which did calm Issei down a bit now knowing Rias wasn't mad at him. "I was actually thinking you could use some early morning training."

"Training?" Issei asked, not getting why Rias would bring such a thing up. Ever since unlocking his Boosted Gear in its initial form, he's been training with Sonic nonstop in that same abandoned construction site the blue alien had found, and Rias knew this. So again, what was the point? "I'm out with Sonic almost everyday afterschool." He added.

"While yes, it is great to see you take initiative, our battle with the Fallen Angels made one thing very clear," said Rias, praising Issei for doing that on his own even before being in Rias' employ, but there was still the... events... that occurred during that same battle. From the reports she had gotten from Koneko and Kiba (not to mention it was slipped by Mittelt already), they too had battled some form of advanced combat robots. Whether or not they were created by the Fallen didn't matter either, for they were still a threat as also implied by the Fallen, there were more out there.

She didn't tell Issei or Sonic this for 2 reasons:

A) Issei had been through mental, physical and especially emotional trauma thanks to the actions of one Fallen in particular; not to mention he had become one of her kind that same night, so she didn't want to add more to Issei's stress.

And B) It was her problem, in HER territory, and the last thing she wanted to hear was another argument with Sonic over it. Not that she didn't trust him or anything, she just didn't think it was necessary to involve him with her problems out of respect for him for saving her life. He had his own mission to get back home anyway, so this would only be a distraction for him. She could handle this and her personal problems on her own.

"Even though you did beat Raynare, she underestimated you, allowing you the time you needed to charge up enough to defeat her. But what about next time?" Rias' question did make him blink in realization. "Regardless if she was acting on her own accord or not, someone else maybe want to just finish the job quickly or worse: recognize your Boosted Gear." Rias explained, which Issei couldn't deny. Raynare toyed him, mistaking his Boosted Gear as a Twice Critical, and never took him as serious of a threat because of it; unlike Sonic, whom she had seen what he was capable of and wanted him out of the way first.

In short, Issei might not get so lucky next time.

"We need to get you up to your peak physical condition as quickly as possible. In turn, this will also maximize the usage of your Boosted Gear." Rias finished.

"Oh, yeah. Guess that makes sense" Issei said, not able to come up with an argument. Aside from Asia, he was easily the weakest member of the team, but she didn't have a Longinus-tear item in her body like Issei did. Her's specialized in recovering damage while Issei's dealt the damage. The stronger he gets, the harder he can pound the way he saw it… though this did require extra work.

"I'll come by your place tomorrow. Five sound good?" Rias asked, which Issei couldn't help but mentally groan. That wasn't a bad time or anything, it was just little earlier than he was used too, not to mention tomorrow's Saturday… Regardless, he agreed to meet up with her at that time and then went off to pass out flyers. "Oh, and one more thing…" Rias added just as Issei turned to leave. "Invite Sonic to join us too."

Issei blinked. "… Why?" He had to ask, emphasizing on the word he used.

"I figured he might like an early morning run" was Rias' answer which to be fair, sounded like something the Hedgehog would like considering he went off on runs quite often. "Not only that, he might actually benefit from it." She added, which was honestly nice of her. It seemed like she finally wanted to help out Sonic, or maybe it was just to call things even after saving her hot ass from the church explosion but either way, it was a nice gesture.

"Uh... I don't know..." Issei said, scratching the side of his head with a finger, which got Rias to raise an eyebrow and cock her head to the side. "If he doesn't sleep for at least eight hours..." He said.

Hummmmmmmm...

Crimson aura flared around Rias like the hue of a sunset.

"OK, OK! I'LL ASK HIM!" Issei waves his hands in defense, promising to talk to the blue rodent about it, which in turn Rias dispelled her power and gifted him a warm smile.

"Great! See you both tomorrow!" She said cheerfully with her eyes closed and still had that warm smile on her face. Issei just sighed and left the room, finally heading out to hand out flyers and then head home afterwards. Once he left the room, Rias looked at Asia who was sitting on one of the sofas. "Asia?"

"Yes?" Asia said, reacting to her name being called.

"I think its time we talked about more permanent sleeping arrangements..." Rias said, still smiling.

A few hours later…

Issei had just finished his homework and was about to get ready for dinner downstairs when he heard 2 knocks on his bedroom window. Of course, there was no one there as it was the second floor and his room didn't have a balcony, so he had to walk over and see what it was. He had a sneaking suspicion whom it could be, so he also opened the window as he walked over. Sure enough, a blue Hedgehog jumped on in. Issei wasn't worried about this because even before he had Devil hearing, he could always hear someone coming up those steps. The enhanced sense just made it easier. So if someone was coming up, Sonic could just jump out the window again, or go into a doll-like state according to Rias.

"I swear, Ruin Princess has some weird customers." Sonic said. "Ya know that apartment complex down the street? On the second floor? Room 206?"

Issei sweatdropped, slightly cringing. "Yeah… I know…" He said, then got nervous. "Wait! Did he…?"

"Nah. He didn't see me." Sonic said, then hopped on Issei's bed and laid down against its headboard, which got Issei to relax. It wasn't because he was afraid the 206 tenet would see Sonic. He was a client and thus, was already aware of Devils and such. It's just what he'll probably ask Sonic to do was the problem. "Which is more I can say about you and Asia." The hedgehog added.

Issei flinched. He knew about that? "It was an accident! I was walking around and her titty hammock just ended up on my face!" Issei defended himself again.

"And your first instinct was to try to put it on?" Sonic asked with a cocked eyebrow, unsure if Issei was being fully honest. He had heard Konkeo's side of the story, but he knew the newly-reborn Devil wasn't a bad guy, he just had… issues.

"It all happened so fast! Then she smacked me with a lobster!" Issei defended himself again. Sonic eyed him some more. "I'M SERIOUS!" Issei practically begged Sonic to believe him now.

Sonic stared at the Boosted Gear Devil a bit longer before finally closing his eyes. "Ok, I believe ya." He said. "But seriously, pal; sometimes you should just tell yourself 'no'."

"Easy for you to say! Your not surrounded by insanely hot girls 24/7, 365! Your out running around like a virgin in a titty bar!" Issei countered, which that then reminded him of what Rias requested. "Oh yeah, and Rias asked me to train with her. She's coming early tomorrow at 5:00."

"Kay. Have fun." Sonic said while waving to him, not really interested in the topic. Despite him saving Rias' life not too long ago, it was a rocky relationship they still shared.

"She and wants you to come too." Issei added.

Sonic opened his eyes, his pupils going in Issei's direction, and the Hedgehog cocked his eyebrow again. "Why?" He asked the same way Issei did to Rias a few hours ago.

"She thinks it'll benefit us." Issei said.

Sonic stared at Issei some more before answering. "Look, pal. I'm not some pet dog she can order around. I'm a Hedgehog!" He said while looking up at Issei's ceiling, closing his eyes again.

Issei sighed, slowly facepalming. "Look, I know how you feel and all, but she's right. I'm the weakest member of the team right now, so she figures should the Fallen or something attack, I can be better prepared for it." He said, which was sadly true. Even though Asia recently joined, she's used her powers since she was very young and therefore, had much more experience in the field than he did. Issei has only had access to his own for just about 2 weeks, now it had reached a new level a few days earlier. Including the fact he can't even teleport via magic circles, he still had a long way to go…

"Besides, it sounds like she really wants to help." Issei continued, which did get Sonic's attention back on Issei. "It's just like you said: she didn't need to tag along with me to save you and Asia, she could have just left it to me like I asked her too. But instead, she allowed me to become a full Devil upon request, sent everyone else with me, then she finally showed up after we beat Raynare. She even had enough confidence that we'd both take her down, so its not like she hates you… HELL! You both had a moment to yourselves about Raynare's punishment."

Sonic couldn't deny what Issei was saying wasn't true. That moment the Hedgehog had debating Raynare's fate with the Devil was probably the first time they had a genuine connection with each other, however short it lasted and her denying it. Sonic didn't hate Rias either, he just couldn't agree with her on certain things.

"Just think about it, bro. Maybe… this is her way of bonding with you." Issei finished. Sonic could see his point. Rias wasn't a bad person and he could sense that. She seemed to be a kind character and was clearly compassionate towards others with her going out of her way first to help Asia from Freed despite the clear conflict of interest, not to mention finding a loophole to exploit for assisting Issei (again, denying it had anything to do with Sonic at all), so she did have a few things in common with Sonic in that regard.

But at the same time, she was also kinda spoiled and competitive. She probably went through a large majority of her life without being questioned or given a different perspective on things. As a result, it also made her a bit stubborn and won't back down on what or who she believes in, which was also similar to Sonic with his never-give-up attitude. Perhaps Issei was onto something… maybe… she did wanna finally open up a bit, but the only way she knew how was like this.

"I mean… its not the worst idea I've ever heard since a Big Wave ops mission," Sonic said, which got Issei to cock an eyebrow. Ops mission? As in a military mission? And Big Wave… what kind of stupid name was that? Sounded like something only an idiot would come up with after standing around for a minute and a half… "But at five in the morning? If I don't get my 8 hour sleep…"

Normally Issei wouldn't care if Sonic didn't want to come and do his own thing, that's just who he is. But seeing as Rias would probably kill him, then revive him a third time if only to kill him again, not to mention the lack of actual work he's been accomplishing under her name, Issei knew he had to get Sonic to come with them... or the King Devil would get royally pissed off! He could already imagine a small chibi of himself, crying and running from the demonic fireballs of a larger chibi of Rias whom was flying over and after him...

This fantasy ended with a VERY large ball of Rias' Destruction magic over her chibi body, the size of the globe itself, the tiny anime character holding it over herself with one hand before dropping it. The poor tinier version of Issei couldn't outrun it and when he looked back, the screen cuts to a large Demonic Power-fueled explosion that just occurred.

Issei got his phone out of his pocket. He didn't want to do this, but he had little options. "Sonic... I really didn't want to have to do this..." Issei said as he began dialing a number. This got Sonic confused.

"What are you doing?" He asked the Boosted Gear Teen. Surely he wasn't gonna call animal control, right? What would THAT accomplish?

"Your leaving me no choice." Said Issei, putting the ringing phone to his ear. After a few seconds, whomever he was calling it answer. "Hello?... Yeah, he said he's not coming..." Again, Sonic was lost. So he was tattling on him now? What was this supposed to do, make him feel guilty somehow? Cause it wasn't working. "Yeah, can you put her on the phone for a sec?" Issei asked whom he called, which Sonic was assuming was Rias at first, but then Issei asked to put someone else on the line? Maybe it was Akeno then, cause it certainly wasn't gonna be Koneko. "It's for you," Issei tossed the phone to Sonic, who caught it expertly.

"Hello?" Asked Sonic in a confused tone.

"Hey, Sonic?" Asked a cute, innocent voice on the other end of the line, making Sonic freeze up. It wasn't Rias... it was someone worse...

Asia: Is it true?… Are you going to join us tomorrow?

Of ALL people to put on the line, Rias and Issei chose Asia. It made Sonic feel uneasy. "It's just… well, Rias also requested I'd come along too. So when I heard Issei was gonna convince you'd also be training with him and Rias, I also said yes… it'd sounded like it'd be allot of fun." Asia continued to say, which anyone could tell she was reminiscing about the time she'd spent with Sonic and Issei both together and separately.

Sonic wasn't sure of they put Asia up to this or not, because even if they didn't; this was an indirect (yet genius) way of guilt-tripping him. Sonic began scratching the side of his head while lowly groaning in a 'I feel really terrible' way. The girl sounded really excited in her own cutesy way. "You are coming, right?" Asia asked him innocently.

Sonic didn't answer right away, but when he did, he dragged out his response. "Yyyyyyyeaaaaaaaaaaaasssssss…" He said, which he could practically sense Asia's eyes sparkling with happiness on the other side of the phone. What could he say? There was no way he could say 'no' to that innocent of a voice, cause he felt he would sound like a jerk. In fact, that's one the reasons he'd often let Cream tag along during certain adventures despite his better judgement.

"Really?! You mean it?!" Asia asked, cheerfully.

"You know it" Sonic strained to say, but this appeared to be lost on the Devil Nun.

"That's great! Then I'll see you tomorrow!" Asia said, sounding very happy.

"Yeah. Later." Was all Sonic could say as both callers hung up their ends of the call. Sonic looked at Issei, whom was smiling at him. All Sonic did was hand the phone back slowly.

"Be sure to go to bed early," said Issei, heading out his room and downstairs for dinner. As he left, Sonic mocked him by mouthing what the Pervert said, then laid back down on the to relax a bit. He'll head out to the roof later, he needed a soft patch to lay on for now.

The next day…

Issei and Sonic almost sleep in too late, but thankfully Issei's stupid alarm clock got them up, this time being a anime girl dressed as a military solider that told the boys to: "Rise and shine, soldier! Go kick some ass!"

Rias was literally in front Issei's house that morning waiting in Issei said were one of the many varieties of the female uniform, gym edition. It wasn't anything too special, just a track suit. Plus since it was very early, barely anyone would be awake anyway, so there was no need for Sonic to disguise himself. And even if someone DID see him, Rias could just do her hocus pocus memory thing again.

The first thing Rias had Issei do was jogging, doing some runs around the block while she rode on a bike. Sonic didn't need to really try and keep up, cause this was honestly slow compared to HIS jogging speed.

As for Issei, Rias wasn't sure. He had good form and all, which was most likely from the training he had done with Sonic prior, its the speed that was the issue. No, she didn't expect him to break the sound barrier like a certain someone can by simply walking, but even Issei was still a tad bit slower than he should be since being reborn as one of her kind. In hindsight, considering he can't use magic circles on his own, this shouldn't have come as a shock to her either.

"Not bad form, but has anyone mentioned you run like a girl with toast in her mouth?" Asked Rias.

"Yes ma'am, all the time…" Issei said with a sigh. At least with Sonic, he was allowed to stop and take a breather. But Rias made him run several laps in one sitting. 'Didn't expect Rias to be this intense about training' he thought as he looked back to Rias, whom was still riding her bike, and Sonic pretty much walking next to her. 'Man, why couldn't that seat be my face?' Issei continued thinking to himself.

"Come on! My servants will NOT be seen as weak, so pick up the pace! You can do better than this!" Rias suddenly said, which could or could not be interpreted as a result to Issei's extended look-back.

"I'm trying my best here!" Issei said, quickly looking back ahead and sped up a bit, though not by much.

Sonic had an idea though, and he grinned as it flowed through the rest of his brain. "Yo, Ruined Princess," He whispered to Rias, who looked at with a questioning face, but saw his grin… what was he up too? It was like he was saying 'watch this'. "Hey Iiiiisseeeeeeeei…" Sonic called out to the training Devil, which the said Devil looked back at. He saw Sonic's grin and the hedgehog held that position and his running pace for a few more seconds…

ZWHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Issei: GAAAAAAAAH-HAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!

Sonic Spin Dashed after the kid, but at a controlled pace so as to not actually run him over or in worse case, through him. It certainly helped Issei speed up, since he's seen several times what damage that move can cause. Of course, this was an obvious joke to everyone but Issei, and even Rias couldn't help but crack a small smile. Even though Sonic annoyed/aggravated her at times, she couldn't deny this was somewhat entertaining.

They stopped at the park, which Issei thought they were gonna take that break at, but Rias had him drop to the floor and do sit-ups. She even clung to his back for extra weight. "In the Underworld, intelligence is good and all, but not nearly as much as strength. So you gotta get stronger in both mind and body." Rias said.

"Sounds great…" Issei said while struggling to do another sit-up. Of course, as Rias was still clinging to his back…

SMOOSH!

'Oh, snap! Nipple contact!' Issei couldn't help but think. As this was going on, with Rias then telling Issei to do push-ups, Sonic pinched the bridge of his eyes from the obvious effect this was having on Issei. No, he didn't blame Rias as it was clear to him that she wasn't trying to be flirtatious, and while her actions were in the right place… parts of her were pushed into the right places.

"The stronger you get, the more powerful you are. The more powerful you are, the more you can accomplish. And the more you accomplish, the faster your rank increases." Rias said, as she was now sitting on Issei's back as he did his push-ups.

"Sounds simple enough…" Issei strained as he had to lift both his weight and Rias'. As he did his 13th when he had another perv-moment, thinking about Rias' soft buttocks on his back as he lifted himself up. He couldn't help it.

This got Rias to smack his own buttocks and the unexpected attack shocked Issei that he lost his hold and fell to the ground, with Rias still firmly on top of him. If anyone came by, they would immediately assume some sort of fetish between them. "And don't I think I don't know you've been having dirty, sexually-charged thoughts about me the entire time." She said, which she normally didn't care if that was the case, but this wasn't the time for them.

"What do you expect him to think?" Sonic commented, which did get Rias to look in his direction with narrowed eyes.

"Exactly! It cranks up my animal lust being 10 feet near a hot girl, and can't help wondering what she looks like naked. Not my fault!" Issei said.

"Speaking of which, what's keeping Asia?" Rias asked, either ignoring or ignorant to what the boys told her, and looked back and forth around her. "Your the class pet, why don't you go fetch her?" She directed that to Sonic.

"I'm here!" Came Asia's voice in the distance before Sonic could respond to Rias. Sonic noticed her first as he was facing her direction. She was carrying a basket while running over to the ground. "So sorry I'm late, I promise it won't…"

TRIP!

"WAAAAAAAAH!"

SPLAT!

For the second time since meeting her, the poor girl tripped on herself. "Oooooh… why did I keep tripping out of nowhere?" She moaned in a cute voice. The other 3 just stared at the girl whom tripped, and Sonic then remembered what Issei said about imagining someone naked. He kneeled down to Issei…

Sonic: You better not…

Issei: I'M NOT!

Asia got up on her own and offered Issei a drink from a bottle she had brought and had inside the basket. Issei was extremely thankful for this, he seriously needed a breather, and thanked Asia for the cold beverage. As they sat on a bench, ironically the same one as when they had that "date" just before going to the burger joint, they spoke about a few things like 'how've you been adjusting to Devil life' and such.

This only applied to Issei, Asia and Sonic however; as they noticed Rias staring into space. And she's been doing this quite often, like she was transported to another world entirely, and would only return if you called her name a set number of times.

"Yo! *snaps fingers twice* Princess!" Sonic snapped his fingers in Rias' face to get her attention. She was taken aback, and also blinked twice, by the sudden sound and sight of gloved hands in her face. She didn't have a smart response either, mainly cause she wasn't prepared for her thoughts to be interrupted.

"Is everything ok?" Issei asked, as this wasn't the first time this had happened. Ever since Sonic saved her from the church explosion, Rias would sometimes just seem to drift away into her own subconscious. It couldn't be fear or anything from that incident, as there would be obvious body language for that. She would only appear to be thinking to herself in heavy thought.

"Something bothering ya?" Sonic asked in a genuinely concerned tone. "Ya've been staring into space allot lately."

Of course, Rias could detect the genuine concern in both Issei's and Sonic's voices, but it wasn't just the church thing. Sure those robots were a mystery, and they honestly did scare her a bit with how powerful they were, so much so some of them required exploiting a weakness of some kind before they were finally destroyed; but what she was actually thinking about right now was again one of her personal problems.

"Nothing. Nothing at all, probably just the heat" Rias said, brushing it under the rug and making an excuse. "Now that Asia's here, we should go back."

While Sonic and Issei were confused, Asia glanced away with a red tint on her face, but this wasn't noticed by anyone. "Go back?" Asked Sonic. Rias went through all the trouble to organize this exercise, this having gone on for a few hours, but NOW wanted to go back? But where? The clubhouse maybe?

"Go back where?" Issei asked, thinking along the same lines as Sonic.

It was here Rias gave her signature grin. "Where else?… Back to your place."

When they got back to Issei's house, Sonic and Issei stared at it in shock. No, Issei's parents didn't see the Hedgehog, nor was there anything wrong with the house itself, but when the camera panned around to also show the front door…

"Uh, where'd these boxes come from?" Asked Issei, as his family rarely ordered things online and even when they did, they would tell each other to expect a delivery. Not only that, the most that would come would be a single box… not six! 2 stacks of 2 were behind 2 more on the floor side-by-side, placed neatly in front of Issei's house door.

"Yeah, that's my stuff…" Asia said, half-normally and half-bashfully.

"WWWhy's your stuff in boxes?" Issei asked.

"I'm sorry. I had more than I thought…" Asia answered in the same tone as before, also bowing a bit in embarrassment.

"That's not what he means, Nurse Twilight," Sonic said, reading what Issei was actually thinking because frankly, he had the same question. "Why is it on his porch?" As Sonic got a better look at the boxes, he noticed something in the side of one. Zipping over to one, he looked down to see a symbol of some kind of one box… in fact, this same symbol was on ALL of them! He turned one of boxes on the 2 stacks around with a deadpan expression, showing that the boxes had a VERY similar symbol to Rias' magic glyph from her Destruction Magic.

"The Gremory symbol?" Asked Issei, then turned to Rias who still had that grin on her face. "Rias? What's going on here?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I must've forgot to tell you," Rias said, STILL grinning. "Starting today, Asia'll be staying at your house with you and your parents." Hearing those words immediately gave Issei some dirty thoughts, such as accidental walk-ins when in bathrooms and such involving Asia, but dismissed them just as quickly. Before he could respond, she continued: "Don't worry. I had my families servants deliver everything, avoid the hassle of renting a truck." She sounded proud with that statement, but was missing the point.

"And you didn't think to ask first?" Asked Sonic.

"I did actually," Rias said. "She can't stay in that drafty clubhouse all the time, so when I asked her where she'd like to live, the first 2 words out of her mouth were 'Sonic' and 'Issei'. Isn't that sweet?" She continued, the addition of Asia's answer to her own question made the blond nun look down and blush again.

As Issei still tried wrapping his head to the sudden change, Sonic eyed Rias… that sneaky Devil… THIS was her plan all along! It had nothing to do with boosting Sonic at all! Since Sonic liked to take naps on Issei's roof, her being very much aware of this, she invited him along for the ride on purpose for if he stayed behind; he would have seen the act take place at Issei's door. But now there was no way to stop it! It already happened!

"And if he has no room?" Sonic tried to counter Rias.

"Its a standard home, can easily fit 4 people." Rias countered back, cooly. Sonic has been in the house of course and could not argue that point, its not that there wasn't room. Either Rias was being a smart-ass, or she really didn't understand. Both were also likely, but then again this could be an act.

"What if I didn't want a roommate?" Issei asked, considering he sort of had one from outer space.

"So you, don't want a cute girl living under your roof?" Rias said, smartly. Issei had no answer… Crap. She got him that time. With no other arguments that could be made, the 3 Devils began to head inside to tell Issei's parents the news.

"Then I'll be on the roof." Sonic said before jumping up to the roof with one jump. They weren't worried, for he would most likely see someone coming before they saw him and dash off before they got a good look at him. It also still amazed the Devils he could do that, which of course they could do too, but for someone from another dimension to have that same ability was impressive.

As the Devils went in, Sonic couldn't help but find this somewhat familiar. Rias shoving a girl into Issei's home was kind of how he would crash at his little brothers workshop from time to time for a little break. He looked up at the sky… 'Hmm… wonder how he's doing back home?…'

POV - Unknown:

Somewhere else that had a large, deep blue sea; we zoom in towards a long cliff that had a small house towards the back. This house had a small pond next to it with gears turning in this pond… perhaps this house's owner uses hydropower?

There was someone sitting on a small set of stairs that lead into the actual residence itself, a pink Hedgehog-like being dressed in a red dress, looking as if she was waiting for something. She then heard the sound if engines getting closer and closer before looking in the direction of the long cliff. She saw a blue-colored airplane of some sort heading toward this small home, and just as the plane approached, the plane of this plane pressed a button in the aircraft and that caused the cliff to start opening up to reveal there was a runway underneath.

The plane landed on this runway and began slowing down, before coming to a complete stop just before the hanger on the side of the house. Once that happened, the pilot of this plane hopped out. It was a yellow fox-like creature, wearing gloves like Sonic and wore red shoes. But the most distinguishing feature (or rather features) was the fact it had not one… but TWO fluffy tails behind it. The fox was also carrying some kind of a yellow handheld device upon getting out of his plane.

This was Miles Prower, or just Tails as he preferred to be called, and this "house" was one of his many workshops. He is considered to be Sonic's little brother, as they are hardly ever seen separated. While Sonic held the speed and their friend Knuckles had the strength, Tails had the smarts. In fact, they rivaled Dr. Eggman's. Whether it be planes, trackers, RC vehicles or even fake Chaos Emeralds so close to the original that even the smartest machines couldn't tell the difference… Tails was your guy who could build and fly!

"Did you find him?" Asked the pink Hedgehog, standing up and walking over to the fox. This was Amy Rose, Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend but in fairness, he HAS offered to take her on a few dates. She was a kind and cheerful girl with a pure heart, befriending almost everyone she meets. She has boundless energy and a positive attitude to match… but is slightly erratic and thats matched with a scary temper. Not to mention she's a bit obsessive over Sonic as she used to follow him everywhere, though this has died down a bit with age.

"Nothing… I don't get it." Said the fox as he lifted up the device he was holding so the pink Hedgehog could see it. "I've looked everywhere. The Icecaps, the city, deserts and islands…" the device showed the globe of the planet, along with a silhouette of Sonic himself. Unfortunately, the words: 'No Data Available' were across the screen. This was Tails' Miles Electric, named after himself of course. It could do all sorts of things, but mainly translate languages, and scan items and living beings. Tails used the latter function to try searching for Sonic as he had not yet returned from his battle with Eggman after finding the Chaos Emeralds by locking onto Sonic's unique energy signature. However no matter where he went, he couldn't get any readings of Sonic's power at all.

"But I can't get a reading of him anywhere! It's like he vanished into thin air." Tails concluded.

Now Amy was nowhere near a tech wizard by any stretch of the imagination, only having basic knowledge. Of course it improved when Tails has his meltdown during the Phantom War and she had to take over, but not by much. Tails was still the go-to guy when it came to this stuff.

"Did you try another kind of reading?" Any asked.

"I already did. Sonic's, Eggman's, his robots… heck, even the Chaos Emeralds but still nothing! It doesn't make any sense!" Tails said. Tracking other forms of energy was smart, but not so much the Chaos Emeralds as they had the nasty habit of spreading out after each use, so it wasn't practical and was only a last resort or if your actually looking for them. Now of course, if Tails got a lock on Chaos Energy, he'd track it and hold onto it for safekeeping… but even the Emeralds didn't have any readings either! Not a single one! And he's been all across the globe thanks to his plane, the Tornado 2, which did need an Emerald to function properly, but artificial Chaos energy was a decent substitute… he could only fly for a few hours before having to recharge however, which in turn just meant twice the work.

And even after all that… No Sonic. No Eggman. And no Chaos Emeralds… it was so bizarre. He'd think he'd get at least ONE kind of reading… but got nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero.

"Maybe he just went on another vacation and didn't tell anyone?" Amy suggested, as Sonic DID have a habit of running off to his next adventure, more often than not without telling anyone. She's lost count how many times that happened. Now don't get her wrong, she missed and was worried about Sonic too. But after all the years she's known him… this was kinda his shtick.

He'd run off the see/save the world, collect certain items if necessary, and when all was said and done, he'd run off again for a vacation. Rinse and repeat. That's just who Sonic was, he can never sit still for too long or he'll get bored and/or antsy. Though if you called him, he'd be the first come running to assist you even if he was in the middle of something, which was one of the many reasons Amy liked him.

Though this doesn't excuse the amount of times he'd forget a date she and him scheduled ahead of time… She'd then have to, to put gently: knock some sense into him, no matter how many times he'd beg her to "put that hammer away".

"I don't know, Amy… this doesn't feel right…" said Tails as he let go of one side of the Miles Electric, and used this newly free hand to cup his own chin before rubbing it. Not getting an Emerald reading or Sonic running off on his own was one thing, but the fact Eggman hasn't taken advantage of this in some way was concerning. Just like Sonic, the mad scientist can be impatient, especially when it comes to world domination. And when Sonic wasn't around, he'd usually get started straight away as even a minute wasted would be too long. When said plan was complete, or of it was close to completion (like a 3-day window or something), he'd announce it to the world because of said impatience with a hint of overconfidence/arrogance.

And maybe because he loved hearing himself talk on a loudspeaker, but that was besides the point.

Amy didn't know what else she could really say. She was as concerned as Tails was, but where they supposed to do? Even her 'Sonic Radar' (which was Cream's name for Amy's scary ability to track Sonic down and sense if he was in or has been in the area) couldn't find the Blue Hedgehog. "Keep trying, Tails. If anyone can find him, its you" Amy told him as she put a hand on his shoulder for comfort, being optimistic for his sake.

Tails looked at her with a smile. "Says the one who has a built-in radar." He joked.

Amy smiled back before removing her hand. "Well, I gotta head back to the city. Just call me if you need anything" She offered friendly before starting to walk away from the workshop. Tails said his own goodbyes and waved, and when Amy was out of sight, he looked back down at his Miles Electric with a sad expression.

"… Sonic… where are you…?" He asked his machine as if it would respond, but all it fid was continue to show no readings of the Blue Blur ANYWHERE on planet Mobius…
