Also, could you explain how to manually turn it on? Not getting Gmail notifications makes it difficult to know when a new chapter is actually up, as sometimes the actual app notifications appear for stories when they aren't even given new chapters. I think it's merely an edit to a previous chapter and I can get a notification.
Bakuganman: Ya gotta go into account settings and turn it on. Should be the first thing there. It's automatically turned off for everyone since the update was made, so it shouldn't be that hard to spot. Thanks for the support for my Sonic DxD. I also have a discord as well if that's any easier.

Bakuganman; I've done some thinking on this since the last time I answered this question, when I was unsure very early on in the story. Sonic's Excalibur has 4 pieces. DxD's has 7 (Coincidentally, same amount as the Chaos Emeralds). Not only that, DxD's were made from the souls of dead children, Sonic's were from a storybook. That's not me saying Excalibur Sonic won't be happening or appearing, it's just gonna be tough to mix-match them or even pull off without feeling like fanservice for the sake of fanservice.
I have a rule when it comes to this story regarding the lores of both franchises: If it can be meshed fluently, then it can be done without an issue, while respecting BOTH source materials and NOT prioritizing one over the other.

Anyways, it's the same waterfall that you go to fight the first Titan at. Gianto was the Titan's name? Yeah that's probably it. Also the game is surprisingly fun and good, I thought it wouldn't be good, but they surprised me with the exploration, the view, the enemies, and the combat system for Sonic.

Yes, Rias ended up in front of that huge waterfall, that and Sonics location were probably the easiest ones to figure out. Game was fun too, and the triple update will make it that much better.

So, I am loving this story, honestly was kind of afraid going in because DxD is extremely pervy, combined with Sonic and a... Special portion of it's fanbase, I was extremely worried about that, you dispelled that worry very quickly by stating it'd be a familial bond. Also I found this story today and binge read all of it so far lol. Good job! I will say the camera change thing was a bit strange, but actually effective. Never thought of that as a concept but it works. At least for your writing style. I also think you've done great at capturing Sonic himself and making him give positive changes on Issei, thank you, Issei has honestly been the biggest reason against watching DxD since he cannot be serious for like 5 minutes without boobs popping up somewhere. Also very excited and wanting a Dark Sonic scene! That is probably the best thing in my opinion from Sonic X. 4kids did ruin it, not that I had anyway of seeing the good version before. I missed a lot guaranteed because I had to resort to YouTube for it when I was younger haha. Keep up the good work and enjoy time outside writing too!
Bakuganman: That "Special Portion" gives most of us a bad name. In fact, the official author had to turn off his comments on Twitter because of that special section. I swear to god, DxD's fanbase is just as passionate as Sonic's, and here I come along making a successful crossover for them… ironic despite the different target age demographics.

As sort of interesting as a Smash Bros Arc sounds I find it rather weird to put in this story I'm okay with little references to it as well as other similar stuff but a full blown multi crossover in the middle of this ehhh I honestly prefer this as a Sonic and Highschool DxD crossover particularly I think I did mention how I prefer my crossover stories in a previous review comment but this is your fanfiction and you have your preferences so you do you
I though you would just shoehorn some references to Frontiers like you did with other Sonic media previously but whatever not really into it but again your fanfiction not mine speaking which I may not be all that into a Smash Bros Arc but I am kind of stuck between the Inkling or Steve being in it as they both could bring some interesting interactions to the table between characters hope to see more chapters really enjoying your work
Bakuganman: Like I said, the smash mini arc is a long time away. Honestly, it might not be until after or during DxD season 3. Since Frontiers is brand new as this story takes place after Forces as at the time that was the last mainline game, I'll have to add lore from Frontiers eventually, Plus it'll probably be more interesting for the DxD cast to join that adventure.
Just an Update/Story Roadmap
Sup everyone. You all had a good and happy holiday and new year? I had a blast myself. I could go on about that, but how about we stick to the reason we're here? Its the year, this story is about to turn a year old in February. I feel that's a fitting time to officially return to Sonic DxD, with the 1st Rating Game and season finale just around the corner.
Everyone's been talking about the Sonic Frontiers update roadmap, though mostly part 3 of it mainly. 1 and 2 are nice, but the real thing I'm looking forward too is the new story and, would you believe it, OTHER PLAYABLE CHARACTERS?! What timeline are we living in?
With that being said, that has some good news and some bad news regarding of this story. I've been playing around with the plot I have planned and found I can bring Frontiers earlier into the story… though it can also be a double edged sword. The new story for the game, depending on what it is, may have an impact on what I plan on doing. Of course, we won't know what that story will entail until either it finally is released, or if SEGA forgets about metadata again…
Regardless, I figured I'd make my own roadmap for the end of season one. there will not be any heavily spoilers, but this will be a general idea of what's going to go down later on. make of these what you will, I wrote them vague for a reason. But if you're smart enough, can you figure them out? I'll be watching the comments very closely.
Here's to blasting off 2023 with super Sonic speed… at least, by February. I'll be seeing ya!
Update 1 - The Riser Arc (End of Season 1): Sonic and the ORC travel to a Gremory private property to train for the battle against Riser and his peerage. It's for Asia and Issei mainly, being the newest members of their group. However, instead of the ORC members teaching Issei and Asia skills and valuable lessons, Sonic will end up teaching the teachers some tips and tricks for them as well…
Update 2 - Season 1 Epilogue: After beating Riser and learning the truth about the Chaos Emeralds, the quest for the other 6 mysterious gems begins anew. While spreading throughout Kouh Town and finding the second one, Rias ends up experiencing something quite Special…
