Kellie backed up from Angel and Spike horrified and confused.

"What the hell?" Kellie exclaimed.

Angel let his face shift for Kellie to see, bringing back her recollections of the night she met Angel. When Ethan's men had tried to kidnap her and she'd shot them all dead. Then Angel showed up and chased more off. But some of the second group had looked like Angel and Spike did now.

"You're vampires, like actual vampires?" Kellie asked as it clicked, "The hallucination or dream I had when I met you, Angel."

"Not a hallucination," Angel said, shifting back to his human face, "the second group was vampires that smelled the blood from the bodies of Ethan's men. With all you had going on at the time, we figured it was better to let you continue believing it was a hallucination or dream."

"I have a lot of questions after we finish with this," Kellie said, looking at the building, as Spike let go of Angel.

"I'm sure you do," Spike said, standing up and checking his somewhat healed gunshot wound, "You don't by chance have any stakes, crosses, holy water, or any silver by chance."

"No," Kellie answered, "You think there's vampires inside?"

"Our intel indicates a group of vampires has been turning these foster kids into vampires," Angel said, "They're probably building a nest."

"Is beheading a vampire an option?" Kellie asked, putting her guns away, "Of course none of my weapons are large enough to slice someone's head off like that. Provided it even works to kill a vampire."

"Yes, beheading works," Angel said, "Any chance you'd sit this one out?"

"I may not be able to kill a vampire with my usual weapons," Kellie said as Angel reluctantly handed her a stake, "But obviously I can at least still hurt them."

"It's not your typical gunfight, Pistol," Spike said, handing her a second stake, "Vampires are stronger and faster than humans. And more than just vampires exist. So you stick close to me or Angel. You stake any blood suckers you can right in the heart where you shot me."

"I'm sorry I shot you," Kellie apologized, hesitating then continuing, "Well sort of."

Spike chuckled as Angel said, "Don't be."

"I suspect you and I will get along just fine, Pistol," Spike replied, "Besides its Angel's fault you shot me since he apparently couldn't bother to fill you in whatever you walked into years ago."

"You should consider yourself fortunate she didn't know," Angel said, "She probably would have staked you instead."

"You can make up for it by telling me your story once we're done here," Spike continued ignoring Angel, "I have a suspicion it's a doozy."

"More like a soap opera depending on the day," Kellie said, hiding one of the stakes in her jacket while keeping the other out as Spike caught a glimpse of a knife and noted her ankle. holster, "Today apparently I've walked into a horror film of sorts. Anyway, so all the windows are blacked out and I can't see inside. I saw one hooded figure enter the building from the front. I thought going in the back would be the best option."

"We could just break out a window here and go in," Spike said.

"Why don't we try picking the lock first," Kellie said, holding up a lock picking kit, "Keep the element of surprise on our side."

Kellie moved forward towards the nearest back door as Angel watched Spike mentally count the number of weapons he knew Kellie was currently carrying.

"She's a walking, talking, arsenal of weapons," Angel said, "I'm sure she has more we haven't seen. We shouldn't let her get too far ahead."

"Who exactly is this girl?" Spike asked as they followed Kellie.

"In a nutshell," Angel said, "Crime Family Royalty and that doesn't even begin to cover it."
