Meanwhile, Faith had shown Kellie to her room while giving Kellie.

"So Spike and Angel are vampires with souls," Kellie asked, "How does that happen?"

"Spike went through some trials to get his," Faith said as Spike entered, "And Angel was cursed with a soul by the Romani.

"If he ever experiences a moment of perfect happiness," Spike said, "He loses his soul and reverts to his bloody psychopathic demon known as Angelus."

Kellie looked at Faith and Spike with a mixture of confusion and horror.

"She probably didn't need to know that right now," Faith said, "Eventually sure."

"And that is why Lorne warned me never to invite him in if I ever saw him again," Kellie said, "What about you, can you lose your soul?"

"Not to my knowledge," Spike said, "Even so, you would have less to fear from me. I will not turn into the sadistic mind game playing demon Angel would."

"it's true," Faith said.

"So what is Lorne then?" Kellie asked.

"Anagogic demon," Spike answered, "he can read people's future's or destiny's when they sing."

"Well, I don't sing," Kellie said, "Although he apparently didn't need me to sing when I met him. He knew things he shouldn't have about the me."

"Occasionally, someone's aura is strong enough he can read it without singing," Faith said, looking at Spike as if tell him they'd make sure she sang for Lorne.

Spike nodded at Faith in acknowledgement.

"And you said you're a vampire slayer?" Kellie asked Faith, "Kind of like that show Muffy vs. Vampires."

"Kind of," Faith said, "Although, I think the show is too rom comish for being about vamps."

"That's a conversation for another day," Spike said.

"So your kind," Kellie said, pointing to Faith and then to Spike, "would usually kill his kind."

"And save the world and all that other stuff," Faith said, "It used to be just one girl in every generation. But then we changed it so there's more of us."

"There was a girl here when I was here before holed up in a room writing on the walls, Fred I think her name was," Kellie said as the door to the room opened, "Did things turn out alright for her?"

"Better than alright," Fred answered as she and Johnny entered the room, "I eventually recovered my senses."

"Good," Kellie said.

"Looks like things turned out well for you too," Fred said, edgy, "aside from whatever this Lilith thing is. But we'll sort it out. Anyway, I'm going to work with Wesley on the research."

Fred bolted out of the room.

Spike and Faith looked at her strangely.

"Did she show you where your room is, mate?" Spike asked Johnny.

Johnny nodded.

"I'd like to talk to Kellie privately," Johnny said.

"Five by five," Faith said, dragging Spike out.

"But I have questions for Kellie," Spike replied, "Like why does she carry so many weapons and how is she familiar with Helena Cassadine."

"Her father is Sonny Corinthos," Johnny said, "That's all you need to know."

"What…the mob boss on the east coast?" Spike replied.

"Exactly and I used to work for him," Johnny said, "While you may be a vampire, I do know how to make people disappear. Pretty sure I can apply those skills to vampires."

"You don't have to be all grumpy about it," Spike replied as Faith pulled him out the door.

Once Faith and Spike were down the hall.

"Did you catch Fred wigging out in there?" Faith asked Spike.

"Not Fred, Illyria," Spike said, "Fred was agitated like she gets when Illyria wants to come out. Fred stayed in control, but llyria wanted out bad."

"Just what we need, Illyria clashing with whoever this Lilith is," Faith said, "The Queen of the Vampires I'm assuming based on what happened tonight. I can't say I paid much attention to her in my studies. I'll go see what Wesley and Angel have found out already. You stay here and make sure Kellie stays put and keep Ilyria away from her if necessary."

"hey why do I have to be the potential punching bag?" Spike asked.

"I thought that was part of your job description here," Faith said, running off.

Wesley's Study

Fred bolted into the study and closed the door as Angel and Wesley looked at her concerned.

"Is everything alright?' Wesley asked.

"Illyria wants control," Fred said, "As soon as I entered the room where Kellie was."

"Do you know why she wants out?" Angel said.

"She won't tell me unless I give her control," Fred said, "And I get the sense Illyria does not have friendly feelings towards Kellie or this Lilith."

"Let's start with the books and internet," Wesley said, "And leave consulting Illyria as a last resort."
