"Do you want to explain to me why when you found out vampires were responsible for for Rachel's disappearance, you didn't let the friendly neighborhood vampires here take care of it instead of jumping into the fray," Johnny asked, "Shootouts, the mob, even the Cassadines, you have experience with. But vampires and sacrificial rituals."
"I was not expecting to walk into a ritual and end up the sacrifice, Johnny," Kellie said, "I thought I could help. Obviously, some of the people around here are human."
"Except this isn't something where we send you to the hospital to get patched up," Johnny said, "Or know if it's even reversible."
"Johnny, can you just stop," Kellie said, "I know I messed up. I'm scared enough as it is."
Kellie slammed her hands on the dress in the room, causing it shake violently.
Johnny jumped back.
"I'm sorry, kid, I didn't mean to…" Johnny said, "But you are going to have watch how hard you hit something. And I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact tales my great granny told are true. Did this crew really help you stay ahead of Ethan and get you information for law enforcement to take down his operations?"
"Enough information for me to know where to infiltrate and get the evidence," Kellie said, "Gave John Durant and the PCPD enough to bust him for trying to get my dad to run drugs through Port Charles as well the FBI shutting down his operations."
"They obviously must know what they're doing," Johnny said, "So we'll stay here and hope this just wears off while they try to figure it out. In the meantime, I'm going to call Tyler and Lorenzo tell them some cult is looking for you and you need to lie low."
"Johnny, have Tyler take the kids to island tonight," Kellie said, "I don't want to chance it."
"Obviously a video call is out of the question," Johnny said, "but you are going to have to call him and the kids yourself."
"Tomorrow, okay," Kellie said, "I can't. Not when I don't even know if I'll be able to go home to them."
"I'm holding you to that," Johnny said, "Now maybe just try to get a good night's sleep."
"I'm wide awake after all this," Kellie said.
"Well, try," Johnny said, "I'll be in out in the hallway making some calls."
Johnny found Spike in the hallway.
"Do you want to explain why Fred got twitchy as soon as she was in the room with Kellie?" Johnny asked.
"How much do you know about Fred?" Spike asked.
"That's she's got some demon personality lying dormant," Johnny replied.
"That personality is what made Fred twitchy," Spike said, "No idea why yet?"
"Should I be concerned?" Johnny asked.
"What do you think I'm standing guard here for?" Spike said, "Partly to make sure Kellie stays put. No offense, you won't be able to stop or her keep up with her if she decides to flee."
"I should take offense," Johnny said.
"The other part is to make sure Illyria stays away from her," Spike said, "You might as well make your phone calls and get some sleep. If anything happens we'll let you know."
"If you anything happens to her, you'll answer to me," Johnny said, disappearing into his room.
Spike shrugged off Johnny's threat and knocked on Kellie's door.
Kellie cautiously opened the door.
"What do you want?" Kellie asked, "And where's Johnny?"
"Your bulldog is in his room," Spike said, "He seemed tolerable to the idea that I'd be standing guard."
"Sure," Kellie said, skeptically.
"And how are you?" Spike asked, "To say you had a lot of unexpected revelations tonight would be an understatement. Probably knocked your sense of reality around a bit."
"Wasn't yours whenever you found out vampires were real?" Kellie replied and open the door wider to let Spike in.
"You make an excellent point," Spike said as Kellie shut the door too hard.
"Sorry," Kellie said.
"You planning on sleeping anytime soon?" Spike asked.
"Can't," Kellie said.
"You've got energy to burn you're not used to," Spike said, "Come on."
Spike opened the door and waved Kellie to go ahead of him.
"Where are we going?" Kellie asked.
"Training room, gym," Spike said, "Help you work off some energy and learn to control your strength. Not to mention, you owe me your story in exchange for me letting go of that fact you shot me."
"Drama queen," Kellie said, rolling her eyes, as she walked out the door.
"Remember to let your bulldog know where to find you," Spike said, paused and then added under his breathe, "Mafia Queen."
