Johnny looked back and forth at Angel and Teagan confused. Angel rubbed his forward, realizing Teagan knew who he was.
"I take it you're well versed in your family history," Angel finally said.
"It's your family history too," Teagan said.
"What are you talking about?" Johnny asked.
"You're looking at the vampire that killed however many great-grandma Cahira's sister's family," Teagan replied.
Johnny looked at Angel stunned and confused.
"You can't be serious?" Johnny said, "that great-granny's tale about some relative slaughtering an entire branch of the family is true and he's still alive today."
"It's unfortunately true," Angel said, looking away from Johnny and Teagan.
"That would make you and Angel cousins," Cordelia said, "A lot of times removed, I think."
"This is…." Johnny stuttered.
"Seriously, Johnny," Kellie said as she and Spike approached the group having overheard enough of the conversation, "You lived in Port Charles where long lost everything pops up frequently. Did you think you were immune to a long lost relative showing up? What is this about a cousin you contacted showing up here that I know absolutely nothing about?"
"A vampire?" Johnny exploded before Gunn and Faith gently pulled Johnny of to the side.
"We'll help O'Brien here regain some sense of equilibrium," Gunn said, "You do your research thing and fill us in."
"Johnny is really bad at keeping in touch since he let us all think he was dead," Teagan said, turning to Kellie, "I'm Teagan by the way. You must be Kellie and obviously the chosen vessel for Lilith's resurrection."
"I hear you might be able to help with that," Kellie said.
"Tell us everything you know," Fred said, moving away from Kellie.
"It's not much," Teagan said, "But Lilith created vampires and other demons. She was queen of all the beings for thousands of years until The Old Ones fought in an uprising against her. They kind of killed her. Legend has it her essence was sent to a dimension it couldn't escape from unless her acolytes performed a sacrificial ritual. However, the ritual can only be performed every ten thousand years when that dimension either aligns more closely with earth or barriers weakens. To be honest no one's entirely sure how that works. The resources are scarce. My coven has been trying to dig up information in preparation for this because we knew it was almost time for the ritual."
"Do you anything about the ritual?" Wesley asked.
"It involves her crown," Teagan said, "Her crown is the source of her power. We did run across a prophecy or part of one. That "Lilith will walk the earthly plains again when her worshipers unlock her essence to merge with an abandoned one with power. At least that's how my coven's been able to translate it."
"The abandoned part would indicate why these vamps were going after foster kids for the sacrifice," Spike said, "It doesn't explain how abandoned fits Kellie considering she's a got a family."
"Except she did grow up in the foster system," Cordelia said.
"Seriously?" Spike asked Kellie.
"My mother over dosed and Papa Godfather didn't have any idea about me," Kellie said, "So I grew up in the foster system."
"But none of the fosters they'd been trying to sacrifice had power," Angel said.
"Magical or otherwise," Wesley said, "The prophecy wouldn't necessarily mean magical power. It could be any kind of power."
"Like the kind of power that comes from being the daughter of an alleged crime boss," Kellie said, "The niece of a former crime boss."
"Except you've been a crime boss yourself," Wesley said, "A spy, you own a casino. Even through you're not an acting mafia queen right now, you command the respect of one in addition to having a lot of money. Not to mention your husband is from a somewhat old money family and he has biological ties to Russian royalty."
Fred visibily struggled to keep control.
"That's exactly the kind of power Lilith would look for in this world," Fred/Illyria spit out viciously, "Lilith has the magic, but she would want the resources you command."
"Fred, are you alright?" Wesley asked as Spike backed Kellie away from Fred.
Before anyone could answer, Fred screamed.
"No, no, no," Fred yelled more to herself or Ilyria and physically struggling against llyria taking control, "Go away."
"I will not be silenced or stopped," Illyria screamed, forcefully taking control, and proceeding to storm over to Spike and throw him out of the way as Kellie scrambled to move away.
Spike slammed into the desk as Illyria shoved Kellie against the wall.
