9. PROLOGUE III (Chapter 005)

PROLOGUE CHAPTER 005

HIMARI'S POV:

As I felt the warm rays of the sun touching my face… I groggily tried to cover myself with a bed sheet.

"Neesan… neesan…" I could hear Tsukiko calling to me and gently nudging me.

"Mmm…ggrrrmmm…. 5 more minute Tsuki…." I grumbled…..I lazily turned to hug something warm and furry.

"Uuunnn… nyaaa…. Like she said…." A voice grumbled back. I could feel a pair of fluffy paws wrapping around my neck.

"Hee hee heee…. Shouldn't you two be up already… to clean the school?"

"Laze about too long… and you'll never wake up again."

"Just like us…. Eheeheehee."

"FGNYAAAH! IT'S THOSE GHOSTS AGAIN! HEY YOU WAKE UP!"

I suddenly sat upright the moment I felt someone bop me on the head. I had to rub my eyes for a bit to look around. So it wasn't a dream… we really are in another world. I then jumped up as I saw hovering above us were the 3 ghosts from last night.

"You guys again?!" I cried out.

"Neesan, it's ok." I turned to see Tsukiko who was wearing what appears to be a dark blue jumper with short white shirt underneath. I gave her a 'WHAT THE F' look while pointing at the Ghosts. She just gave me a nervous smile, the skinny looking Ghost hovered down near her as he asked gleefully, "Are you all going to live here? You're going to get pranked! Kekekeke!"

Grim was looking more annoyed at seeing these spectral pests muttered, "Shoot! We'll get rid of you eventually!"

The 3 ghosts just continued to cackle. Soon I heard footsteps and both Hoshiko and Mr. Crowley appeared holding trays of waffles, sausages, eggs and a pitcher of orange juice.

"Hima-nee…. Grim chan… good morning!" Hoshiko chirped happilly.

"Good morning everyone." Mr. Crowley greeted us cheerfully as well, "Did you all sleep well?"

"Yeah… it was ok" I yawned stretching out my arms in the air.

Grim huffed as he said, "Well not me…. I was all sprawled out then I fell out of the bottom! Just how ramshackled did you let this place get? Then the ghosts woke me up… ugh this is the worst."

"Grim…" Tsukiko said looking at the furry creature worriedly.

Yet even what Grim said can't seem to break the Masked Headmaster's cheery mood. "Even though you and your sisters were just tossed over here from another world, you can still be cheeky. Wonderful!"

With a wave of his hand one of the small round desks magically moved closer to us, as he and Hoshiko started to set food and pitcher on the table.

"I came to speak to you all about your work for today." He said, "but before that, come and eat…. Remember, breakfast is the most important meal of the day."

"Yes, thank you so much…." Tsukiko said, "it's really so kind of you, sir."

I could swear if Mr Crowley was a girl he would actually be gushing like crazy. He smiled proudly as he said, "Oh come, come, my dears…. It is only natural for an educator such as myself to always lend a hand to those in need… for I am gracious."

I simply chuckled and shook my head slightly. The guy may be weird and egotistical… but his generosity and kindness really is sincere. All three of us clasped our hands together and said "ITADAKIMASU!". Grim was already munching away with the waffles as we began to eat as well. Mr. Crowley smiled watching us enjoy our breakfast before magically summoning a tea pot and teacup. The teapot magically tilted and poured the small cup hot brewed coffee, He then took the cup and took a sip.

Huh…. It feels strange… this warm and nostalgic feeling… when was the last time we had a pleasant breakfast like this?

It feels so nice…..

After breakfast we went downstairs to the lounge as Mr. Crowley began to give us the task we needed to do today. "Today you four will be cleaning the campus." Me and my sisters nodded, while Grim glumly frown. "… However, the campus is quite large, even for the four of you. Cleaning it all without magic would be impossible. So, I'd like you to clean up Main Street, from the main gate to the library, understood?" We nodded again as he continued, "Please be sure to watch Grim closely so he doesn't cause a scene like yesterday."

"We understand…"I said. Tsukiko and Hoshiko also nodded in agreement.

"I'm counting on you, my dears." He said happily, "You all have permission to have lunch in the school cafeteria. Take care of your work enthusiastically." With that he gave a low bow and disappeared.

"Che… no way I'm doing any cleaning." Grim huffed while crossing his arms. "I wanna go to class and BANG! BA BA BOOM! Use a bunch of awesome spells!"

I had to muster every single bit of self-control to keep myself from giving this little furball a Mega Chop. Ugh…. It's too early for me to deal with his issues…

My sisters on the other hand were not as irritated as I am. Hoshiko giggled and carried Grim saying, "aww… its okay Grim chan… no more frownies." The little furball was still pouting, but he seemed to be okay with my sisters cuddling.

"Tell you what Grim, "Tsukiko said in her motherly toned voice, "once we finished with our chores for today, we can all head to the library, ok?"

Grim looked at her and a twinge of pink appears around his cheeks before looking away and grumbling.

Okay that's it… sorry, but…

BOP

"FGNAA! OUCH!" Grim cried out rubbing the sore bump on his head.

"Quit being such a baby!" I said.

"Neesan!?" Tsukiko scolded me.

Hoshiko just giggled some more.

MAIN STREET

The four of us soon arrived at Main street, we could already see the school and some of the other campus buildings from a distant.

"Uwaaah! Amazing. So this is Main Street." Grim said in awe. Got to admit, the place looked much better during the daytime. We all were looking around when we noticed the 7 tall statues.

"I didn't get a good look yesterday, but what's with these statues?" Grim said, "all seven of them look pretty scary. This granny looks especially snobby"

We all silently agreed with what Grim said, these statues do look scary, kinda like Villains from a fairy tale.

"You don't know about the Queen of Hearts?"

We all turned around to see a young man wearing what we can assume is the schools uniform. He had red spiky hair and a heart mark around his right eye.

"Queen of Hearts? Is she important?" Grim asked.

The young man nodded while smiling kindly as he explained, "In the past, she was the queen who lives in the Rose Maze."

We turned to look at the statue of the Queen of Hearts, the guy continued, "She was someone who valued the rules and discipline above all, strict in all things from the march of the Card Soldiers to the color of the rose bushes. It was a land of madness where all submit to her rule. Why do you ask? Because or else it was off with your head!"

Tsukiko gasped at the last remark, Hoshiko whispered in awe "wow…"

Grim shivered as he cried out, "That's terrifying!"

I nodded, "that's a bit too extreme don't you think?"

The guy laughed and said, "It's cool! I like it. Nobody would listen to a queen who was just nice all the time right?"

"I suppose. A strong leader is better." Grim agreed.

"Still…. It sounds a bit too cruel, "Tsukiko whispered.

"Uuuhhm… yeah… sure…" I mumbled, I looked at the guy and asked, "By the way, who exactly are you?"

"I'm Ace. A fresh-faced first year. Nice to meetcha." He said cheerfully.

Before I could say anything, Grim stepped forward and announced, "I am Grim. A genius who'll become the greatest magician. The dimwit over there is Himari and her two sisters Tsukiko and Hoshiko. They're my henchmen."

"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL US YOU LITTLE-" I yelled, Both Tsukiko and Hoshiko had to hold me back to prevent me from kicking this little furball straight to the moon.

"You guys sure got an odd sounding name." Ace remarked.

"You got a problem with our names?" I said glaring at him. He looked a bit scared and backed away for a bit shaking his head.

"N-neesan, pls calm down." Tsukiko pleaded.

I looked at her and calmed down I then took a deep breath before I gestured, "Like that little furball said, I'm Himari Akari. The one on my right is Tsukiko Akari," Tsukiko gave a polite bow saying, "Nice to meet you.", I then gestured at my younger sister, "and this one Hoshiko Akari." Hoshiko grinned saying "Nice to meet you, Ace-chan!"

Ace smiled once again and gave a friendly wave.

"Hey Ace." Grim asked pointing to another statue. "The lion over there with the scar, are they famous?"

"Of course." Ace replied.

"This is the King of Beasts who rules the savannah."He continued, "However, he was not born to be king, but he took the throne through effort and elaborate planning. After becoming king, he even allowed the loathed hyeanas to live in his Kingdom without discrimination."

"Ohhh.." we all said looking at the statue.

"That's so kind of him." Tsukiko smiled and looked at the Lion statue.

"I guess he was a rock not held captive by his status." Grim remarked. He then pointed this time to another statue, "Who's the lady with the octopus legs?"

"The Sea Witch who lives in a cavern in the deep." Ace said, "Her purpose was to help all unfortunate merfolks. As long as you could pay the price, she could transform you, help you find love, anything. If it was within her power, there wasn't anything she wouldn't do. They say her prices were pretty high, though. That's what it costs for 'Anything'."

"No offense, but she kinda sounds like a shifty loan shark to me" I thought.

"Nyaha," Grim said, "So what you're saying is I can get rich if I become a great magician!?"

"So what about that guy with the big hat?" Hoshiko asked.

"The Sorcerer of the Sand. He was a cunning vizier to a foolish sultan and saw through a fake prince, who was actually a street rat trying to deceive the princess. Then he got a magic lamp and became the most powerful sorcerer of all! With that power, they say he became sultan."

"Ho hoh! So it is important for magicians to be the center of attention!" Grim said excitedly.

"I don't think that's really what he meant Grim," I said yawning, I turned and asked Ace while pointing at another statue, "so Ace, what's the story about this lady?"

"She's very pretty," Tsukiko remarked.

Ace nodded and said, "She is the Beautiful Queen. Every day she checked the 'beauty ranking' in her magic mirror. And when it looked like she might fall from the number one spot, she never hesitated to do anything to get it back. I guess she had the strong will to remain the most beautiful in the world. So freaking amazing."

"Beauty ranking? Seriously?!" I said in a deadpanned voice.

"Well aside from that, they say she was even adept at making poisons." Ace added.

"Oooh… She's pretty but… no thanks…" Grim said.

"You think?" Ace said he put his hands behind his head as he said, "but it's cool that she has something she'll never give up."

"Well… I suppose that is a very good trait to have. "Tsukiko said, though her tone sounds unsure.

"Oh wow!" Hoshiko said excitedly, "That guy looks like he's on fire, but in a cool way!"

"Lord of the Underworld!" Ace explained, "He rules a land crawling with evil spirits on his own. No doubt he is extremely skilled. Even though he's got a scary face, he did that detestable job without ever taking a vacation. And his sincerity won over Cerberus, the hydra, even the titans to fight for him."

"So cool!" My little sister said in awe.

"Hmmm… so having talents doesn't mean you get to be haughty." Grim remarked, "and the last one, with the horns?"

"That is the Witch of Thorns from the Magic Mountains. Noble and elegant, even within the seven. She is top class in magic and curses. She can summon lightning and storms, cover an entire country in thorns. Her magic in on a whole other level. There was even a time she transformed into a huge dragon."

I kinda perked up on the "DRAGON" part. I always thought Dragons were the coolest types of creatures. I heard Grim saying, "Oooh! A Dragon! All monsters look up to them!". I couldn't help but smile and look up at the Witch of Thorns statue, okay… now she, I actually do like.

"They're all so cool…. Unlike, a certain raccoon."

We all turned to look at Ace who was now looking at us in a mocking manner.

"FGNAAAH!" Grim growled.

"Pffttt…. Ahahahahaha… I can't bear it anymore! Ahahahahaa" Ace laughed holding to his stomach.

My sisters and I stared at him dumbfoundedly. Awww crap… he's THAT type of guy.

"Aren't you the guys who went crazy at the entrance ceremony?" Ace jeered. He looked at me and my sisters as he continued, "You three were summoned by the Dark Mirror, even though you all can't use magic and to top it all off, girls…" He then looked at Grim saying, "and you, monster, weren't called but still trespassed. Ah… it took everything I had not to lose it at the ceremony."

We just stared at the laughing red-headed jack-ass. I frowned and was already clenching my fists. Tsukiko just looked down… I'm sure she was feeling embarrassed, while Hoshiko just continued to stare blankly at Ace.

"WHA!? YOU'RE A RUDE ONE!" Grim cried out angrily.

"And now you aren't allowed in and regulated to Janitors? Hahahaha, how lame." Ace laughed.

"Grrrr…" Grim growled.

"On top of that, you girls don't even know about the Great Seven. How ignorant can you be?" Ace continued mocking us "I recommend you go back to kindergarten before coming to Night Raven Colle-"

MEGA CHOP

"OW! WHAT THE HECK?!" Ace cried out a huge bump forming on the top of his head. His eyes grew even wider when I grabbed him by the scruff of his uniform as stared at him while saying in a quiet but deadly voice. "Now you listen here you dumbass little prick! We may not know much about this world or about these Oh so Great Seven shit… but let me tell you something, my sisters, Grim and I can definitely beat you or any snot nosed pampered preppy boys who look down on us at any school related subjects anytime, anywhere."

The red-haired teen looked really scared for a moment before his face changed into a snarky smirk as he said, "pffft… hahaha…. Wow you sure are a feisty chick aren't you?"

Oh that does it! I raise my hands ready to punch his arrogant face, but I was then held back by my sisters.

"Neesan, don't!" Tsukiko cried out.

"Yeah Hima-nee…" Hoshiko replied, "that jerk isn't worth it." She then looked at Ace and stuck out her tongue at him.

For a minute, I thought I saw Ace looking a bit relieved that my sisters intervened. He quickly looked at us again with that arrogant smirk as he continued, "I thought, I'd just mess with you a bit, but you really blew my expectations away. Unlike you four, I actually have classes to attend. Keep this school squeaky clean, ladies." He then waved us off and started to walk away.

"Its ok neesan," Tsukiko said to me soothingly, "remember what the headmaster said… he's not worth getting yourself into trouble for."

"Grrrr this jerk!" Grim growled, "He's gonna say that and leave! I'm pissed off now! FGNAAAH"

FWOOM

Fortunately for him, Ace leaped away quickly from the spot where Grim was breathing out his blue flames.

"Oh my! Watch out!" He cried, he looked back at the monster cat in shock, "What're you doing?"

"It's what you get for making fun of me!" Grim smirked, "I'm gonna light up that fire head of yours!"

"Grim don't" Tsukiko pleaded.

"Fire head, huh? You really got guts picking up a fight with me. I'll turn you into a puffy, little toy poodle!" Ace said looking a bit annoyed.

It was getting obvious these 2 idiots aren't even listening to Tsukiko's pleas. I groaned in annoyance and was about to step in to stop them when Grim started to blow another burst of blue flame. Oh heck! This looks really bad!

"Uh oh, gotta watch out. Take that!" Ace took out what looks like a pen with a red crystal of some sort. He then pointed at Grim and a huge gust of wind blew directly at the little furball.

"GAH!" Grim startled, "This guy is blowing wind all over the place! My fire gets all twisted up!"

"Oh wow!" Hoshiko cried excitedly, "so there's magic for controlling the wind also? That's amazing!"

"Hoshiko, now's not the time to be amazed!" I scolded her.

"What's happening? A fight?"

"Yeah! Get 'em!"

We turned to see that some of the students are gathering around to watch. "This is not good…" I said, "at this rate…"

"A flimsy little fire like that wont hit me." Ace taunted. Grim's fur started to bristle with anger as he said, "What? You better be ready! Eat this!"

FWOOM

"NO GRIM! PLEASE STOP!" Tsukiko cried out louder.

"YOU IDIOTS! YOU'RE GOING TO GET US INTO MORE TROUBLE!" I yelled. I needed to step in but with both Grim's fire and Ace's wind…. Its hard to get close. Both are still at it, when Ace waved his pen or wand thingy as he said, "And I just change the trajectory with wind like… that!"

We then watched in horror as the fire ball zoomed directly at the Queen of Hearts statue causing it to get burned

"Oh no!" gasped Tsukiko, covering her mouth in horror. I just stood there in shock while Hoshiko just nervously smiled and muttered "Uh ooooh!"

Even both Grim and Ace looked scared now. "AAAAAH! CRAP! THE QUEEN OF HEARTS' STATUE IS CHARRED!" Ace cried out, "IT'S CAUSE YOU'RE BLOWING THE FIRE AROUND! JUST LET ME FRY YOU!" Grim snapped. "You really think someone is gonna let you fry them?" Ace snapped back at Grim.

That's it! I was going to beat the crap out of this two morons when all of a sudden, the headmaster magically appeared in front of me. "ENOUGH!" He yelled out angrily, "Just what is going on here!"

"Guh! Headmaster!" Ace blurted out looking even more scared now. Grim also looked scared, he cried out, "He's gonna tie us up with the 'LASH OF LOVE'! Get outta here" He turned tail and was already trying to run away but….

WHUPSHHH

"OOOOWWWW!" Ace cried out, both him and Grim were quickly bound up to the Headmasters magical cord. "FGAAAH!"Grim whimpered, "Hurts just as much the second day in a row!"

"This is my Lash of Love! It'll be another hundred years before you can outrun me!" Mr. Crowley said, still looking very pissed. He then sternly looked at the two as he continued, "I told you just yesterday 'not to cause any trouble', didn't I?" He then pointed at the 7 statues which were unfortunately badly burned from Grim's fire. He put his hand on his hips as he said, "Then you go and char the statues of the Great Seven! I very much like to see you expelled."

Both Ace and Grim now looked even more scared as they cried out, "Wait! Not that!"

"And you three," He said now turning to look at us. "This is not how you supervise Grim."

"W-we're sorry," I mumbled looking a bit embarrassed. Both Tsukiko and Hoshiko also looked ashamed and apologizing.

"My goodness…." Mr. Crowley grumbled, he then tugged his cord and it magically retracted back to his hands. He then looked at Ace and asked, "You, what's your grade and name?"

"Ace Trappola," he said nervously, "First year."

"Then Trappola, Grim, Himari, Tsukiko, and Hoshiko. As punishment, I order the 5 of you to wash one hundred windows around the campus!"

"EH?!" We all cried out in shock. That's not fair…. Why were me and my sisters being punished also?

"NYAAA!? It's all cause this joker was making fun of us!" Grim said pointing at Ace accusingly.

"Ehh!? Me too?" Ace asked in disbelief.

"Most definitely!" Mr. Crowley said still looking at us sternly, "After school, meet in the cafeteria. Understood?"

I was about to say something, but I felt Tsukiko holding my arm. I looked at her and she silently shook her head. I then looked back at the headmaster and now could see he was in no mood for any snarky back talks. So I just took a deep breath and said, "Yes sir…."

Both Ace and Grim also resigned and mumbled "Fiiinne…", "Ugh, nothing but misery since yesterday!"

TSUKIKO'S POV:

After that incident all four of us started to do our tasks in cleaning up the area. Even though half the time Grim was still complaining about wanting to attend the classes and learning magic. I could see Nee-san trying her best to control her temper.

Soon we were able to finish our tasks and now were at the cafeteria, waiting for Ace to come before we started doing our last task for the day.

"Uuugh… I'm already beat from cleaning all day…."Grim whined out. He was already sprawled on the table looking a bit haggard, "now we have to wash a hundred windows too…."

"And whose fault do you think is that, huh?" Nee-san said giving a light bop on top of Grim's head.

"YEOUWCH! That hurts!" Grim cried out.

"Nee-san, that's enough… what's done is done." I sighed. Grim grumbled before jumping off the table and landing on my lap, he then said, "that Ace guy is sure taking his sweet time. Who does he think he is, making me wait? I'm pissed."

"….."

5 minutes later

"…"

20 minutes later

"…"

1 hour later

"….."

"GRRRR! I DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENED!" snapped Grim, "THIS IS TOO LATE!"

He's right…. Classes should have ended already so where is he?

"W-Wait, he wouldn't skip out, right?" Grim asked.

"Uuuhhh… yeah most likely," Hoshiko said lazily playing with one of her ponytails.

We just stared at each other in dumbfound silence before both Grim and Nee-san abruptly stood up and shouted, "THAT SON OF A-!"

"I'm not gonna let him get away with putting all the punishment on us!" Grim growled. "Let's go, henchmen! We're gonna catch Ace and make him do all the window washing!" He then jumped off my lap and sped off.

"QUIT CALLING US YOUR HENCHMEN YOU DAMN FURBALL!" Nee-san shouted, running after Grim. Both Hoshiko and I looked at each other before following our sister and Grim.

"HEY! Where's Ace!? We're not gonna let you hide away! Aahhh… there's nobody here" Grim said.

We all followed him towards an empty classroom.

"No. I'm here"

We all jumped as we saw that a portrait of a European gentlemen suddenly spoke.

"GYAAAA!" Grim cried out, "THE PICTURE TALKED!?"

"OH MY GOSH! THAT'S AMAZING!" Hoshiko exclaimed.

"What now? It's not uncommon for paintings to talk at this school. The Wall Lady over there, the Wall Gentleman over here, everyone can speak. Portraits can speak because they have a mouth. That's normal you know." The gentleman in the portrait pointed out.

We looked around the classroom and all the portraits showed different types of aristocratic looking people, all of them looking at us and agreeing with what the Man on the portrait just said.

"Oh, I see… but you know from where we come from Paintings don't normally speak," said Nee-san scratching the back of her head.

"Your 'normal' and my 'normal' differ in regards to our quirks. Isn't that true?" The gentleman replied, "that aside, who are you looking for?"

Grim shook from his stunned state as he said, "A guy named Ace. He's got a heart mark on his face and hair that sticks up.

"Ah yes, I know him," the gentleman replied, "He's one of the freshmen that started today. He went back to his dorm not too long ago…."

"Whhaaat?! So he did try to get away!" Grim said angrily. He's fur suddenly bristled and turned around only to almost faint with fright seeing our sister looking ready to explode. We were no shaman or miko, but we could already feel an aura of rage surrounding our elder sister.

"Hehehe…first that little weasel insulted us and caused us to get punished on our first day…." My sister said in a calm but scary voice, her eyes already widening as she started to crack her knuckles, "… and now he had the nerve to just dumb his shit on US?!" Both Grim and I jumped in fright as she raised her voice at the last part. Hoshiko, as usual just giggled finding the whole thing rather amusing.

"Hey, you!" she said at the Gentleman (surprisingly he looked rather calm, but then I saw a trickle of sweat falling from his left face.) "Which way did he go?"

"The entrance is behind the East Building." He replied.

"Thank you." She said calmly and turned around while saying, "come on, Girls… Grim."

Hoshiko and I both gave our thanks to the Gentleman before following our sister.

I could still hear the Gentleman as he said, "Whew…. I do feel sorry for that young man should they catch him!"

HALL OF MIRRORS

We quickly arrived at the entrance of the Eastside of the school, building. The hallway had around 7 archways each with a full sized mirror. As we got closer we heard Ace grumbling and saying, "No way am I washing a hundred windows. I'm gonna head on home…"

"HEY YOU!" Grim cried out.

Ace turned around in shock as he said, "GAH! YOU ALL FOUND ME!"

"You jerk!" Grim said angrily, "Hold up! I won't let you be the only one to escape!"

Ace soon recovered from his shock and then smirked at us saying, "I'm not just going to wait around for you! I'm outta here!" He then started to run away from us.

"HEY! GET BACK HERE YOU JERK!" Neesan snapped, running after him, Grim followed suit saying "It's not fair for only you to get out of it! I want to skip out too!"

All of us soon gave chase to Ace, soon another student appeared up ahead looking surprised to see us all running.

"Huh?"

"Outta my way! Outta my way!" Ace cried out shoving past the boy aside.

"Eh? Wh-whoa!" the student said looking rather surprised and confused.

Oh no… at this rate we'll never catch him!

"Catch him, please!" I pleaded towards the young man. He looked at me in surprise before he turned and said, "Magic to capture someone? I should freeze their legs…. No… how about restraining them? Or I could…. Umm…" He was trying to think of something.

"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT KIND! JUST STOP THAT GUY!" Neesan yelled at him. He jumped a bit but nodded and said, "Okay…. Anything is fine so come on!" He then waved a pen-like wand, that looks similar to what Ace was using earlier, "SOMETHING HEAVY!"

All of a sudden a giant black kettle magically appeared on top of Ace and landed directly on him.

"GAHHH! WHAT THE HECK!? A POT!?" Ace blurted out looking flabbergasted and struggling to free himself from the heavy load.

"GYAHAHAHAHAHA! Check it out!" Grim laughed hysterically, "Ace is as flat as a pancake under that cauldron! Soooo lame."

Hoshiko also started laughing saying, "aww you look so cute under there Ace-chan!"

The boy just looked a bit more confused as he said, "I didn't think I'd get a cauldron. Did I overdo it?"

I approached the young man to give my thanks. Now that I see him more properly, he was also wearing the same uniform as Ace with the same red armband tied on his sleeve. He had short blue hair and teal eyes. On the right side of his eye, was a large black patch shaped like a spade. He was still thinking about his actions when I said, "Umm… thank you very much for helping us." I smiled.

He suddenly blushed and said, "U-Uh… n-no its my pleasure… I'm glad that I was able to help."

The black kettle soon disappeared, and Ace then started to get up while rubbing his sore head, "Man, this hurts…."

He stopped as Neesan stood in front of him, "A-Ah… hehehe" Ace laughed nervously. Neesan looked at him and then suddenly gave a friendly smile before she went…

ULTRA MEGA CHOP

Ace groaned in pain as he feel again on the floor. Then Neesan began to pull a choke hold on him. "Owowowoowow! STOP… I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! PLEASE LET GO!" Ace gasped trying to free himself from my sister's hold.

I just sighed, while the boy next to me looked scared. Even Grim was shaking in fear now muttering how he should never ever make neesan mad. Hoshiko was holding her stomach and trying to stop her laughter.

Soon my sister released Ace and stood in front of him her arms crossed together and still looking rather pissed. Ace now slowly tried to get up again as he muttered, "man, you're brutal! I don't know why you're so mad… I mean you girls should be fine. Those 100 windows should be clean in a flash." He suddenly flinched when he saw Neesan's frown grew deeper.

"Cleaning a hundred windows is not something you do in a flash," my sister growled slowly, "and besides… my sisters and I were just victims who got involved in the punishment from yours and Grim's stupidity!"

"Washing a hundred windows as punishment…" the Blue haired boy curiously asked, "what in the world did you all do?"

Ace scratched his head as he glared at Grim, who just smirked back. "I got into a bit with that furball and we might have charred the Queen of Hearts' statue a bit."

"You damaged one of the Great Seven statues!? That's definitely something people would get angry with." The boy gasped. He then shook his head as he continued, "You get into a prestigious school, then do something like that on the first day…."

Ace now looked annoyed glared at the blue haired boy saying, "shuddup. And who are you?"

"I'm Deuce, Deuce Spade." He replied, "would it hurt to remember your classmate's faces at least?" He paused and looked at Ace, "ummm…."

Now Ace shook his head as he muttered, "You haven't memorized them either."

Deuce now looked a bit embarrassed, then blurted out, "A-anyway! If you were ordered to by the headmaster, that means you need to take it seriously. Also…" He looked at me and my sisters as he continued, "it's not fair to let them pay for your mistake."

Ace then looked at us for a moment and we could see he looked a bit guilty. He then agreed saying, "Yeah, yeah. Understood…. Then let's get it done and over with."

I nodded and smiled gratefully at the two boys. Neesan also seemed to calm down more and smiled a bit. Wait a minute… somethings a miss…. It's a little too quiet….

"Uuum, Hima-nee… Tsuki-nee…. Grim's gone!" Hoshiko said.

We all looked all realized that the feline creature is nowhere to be seen.

"AHHH! THE FURBALLS GONE!" Ace cried out.

"THAT LITTLE CREEP!" Neesan screamed.

I sighed, and just when things would finally calm down.

"Dumb cat! He made me take his place!" Ace said angrily. He then turned to Deuce and said, "Hey! Uuummm… Juice?"

"I'm not Juice! Deuce! Deu!" Deuce said looking rather annoyed.

Ace just ignored what Deuce said and told him, "You're partly responsible so help us catch that furball!"

"Why me?" Deuce asked

"These deadweights can't use magic, so they don't count!" He jumped again when he saw my sister glaring at him angrily, "D-Don't look at me like that! You girls can't really use magic!"

"It doesn't matter whether we can use magic or not!" Neesan said, "let's just focus on finding Grim ok!"

We all nodded and ran off.

We soon caught up with Grim who was floating around the cafeteria. We all tried to catch him but he keeps moving away.

"Crap! He's darting around everywhere!" Ace said looking already pissed.

"Ha ha ha ha! Catch me if you can, suckers!" Grim taunted.

"GRIM, YOU BETTER STOP THIS RIGHT NOW OR I'LL…" Neesan said in a loud and firm tone. The little Cat monster just laughed some more and blew raspberries at all of us. We then watched as he flew up towards the chandelier of the cafeteria.

"Grrr…. Getting on the chandelier is an underhanded move!" Deuce said, "we haven't learned the magic to fly yet…"

We all looked up at Grim who was swinging on the chandelier back and forth.

"Grim!" I called out, "please, come down from there! You could really get hurt!"

"Hah!" Grim smirked back, "as if I would listen to a dumb human like you!"

Hima-neesan looked ready to jump up the chandelier herself, she then grumbled, "Grrr… wait till I get my hands on you…."

Meanwhile Deuce was trying to think while muttering, "We need to get up there and also catch him… Maybe we could…. No….." He face changes as he cried out, "Ah! I got it!"

Ace on the other hand was also muttering to himself, "I've gotta think of an idea….whoa, whoa… wait a second! Why are you pointing your magical pen at me!?"

My sisters and I turned to look to see Deuce pointing his pen-like wand at Ace.

"W-wait… Deuce!" I said nervously, "What are you going to do?"

Neesan's eyes widen as she realized what's about to happen, "Oh crap! Don't tell me you're…"

"I'll just throw you!" Deuce said.

All four of us looked at Deuce in outmost shock, both Neesan and I cried out for him to stop but…

"Y-You're joking!?" Ace cried out, but it was already too late. We just watched in horror as Ace slowly starts to float from the ground. "WHOOOAAAHAAA! DON'T MAKE ME FLOAT! ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO THROW ME!? KNOCK IT OFF!" Ace screamed.

"NO STOP PLEASE!" I pleaded out.

"YOU IDIOT DON'T" Neesan yelled out.

"Catch him, ya hear." Deuce said, "take aim… and… FIRE!" and with a flick of his hand he magically tossed Ace towards the unsuspecting Grim.

"GAAAAAAAH!"

"FFGAAAHHH!"

BAM

CRASH

All we could do is just watched in utmost horror as when Ace collided Grim head on, they both ended up colliding into the chandelier as well. Due to the impact the huge furniture crashed down shattering into several pieces.

"Th-the chandelier!" I squeeked in fear.

"Those morons!" Neesan muttered in shock

"Ooooh boy!" Hoshiko whispered.

Fortunately for both Ace and Grim, they weren't hurt too badly, although Grim is now swaying on the floor looking rather dizzy.

"Cough cough cough! I can't believe it!" Ace said while coughing from the cloud of dusts that appeared from the impact.

"Fgnaaaah"

Deuce now realized what he has done, looked even more scared as he stuttered, "I-I screwed up! I didn't think about the landing!"

"ARE YOU AN IDIOT!?" Both Ace and Neesan angrily shouted out at Deuce. I just stood there looking around more nervous at the whole mess.

"I can't believe you!" Neesan continued, "you're lucky no got really hurt!"

"Hey! I got hurt here!" Ace snapped at my sister, he then looked at Deuce as he said, "And you…. We may have caught Grim, but if the headmaster finds out we busted the chandelier…."

"If I…find out?"

All of us felt a sudden chill of dread. We turned slowly to see Mr. Crowley standing by the doorway, his arms crossed and his glowing eyes glaring at us.

It was strange but this sensation felt the same as when Neesan is at the high peak of her rage…. Oh dear….

"Ah….H-headmaster…" Ace cried out.

"Just…What… Exactly… ARE YOU ALL DOING?"

I closed my eyes and cringed as the headmaster's voice echoed within the hall. He really is scary when he is angry. I could see even my sisters looked rather frightened by the dean's angry tone.

"Fffnnyaaa… the room is spinning…"Grim whimpered. He was still dizzy from the fall. I quickly scooped him up and nervously looked on.

"YOU WEREN'T SATISFIED WITH JUST DAMAGING THE STATUE SO YOU DECIDED TO DESTROY THE CHANDELIER!?" Mr. Crowley roared angrily, "THIS IS THE LAST STRAW! I WILL HAVE ALL OF YOU EXPELLED!"
