PROLOGUE CHAPTER 007 (FINALE)
HOSHIKO'S POV:
We arrived back to the school with the help of the magic mirror. As soon as stepped out of the mirror, Mr. Crowley was there waiting for us looking rather surprised.
"What?!" He gasped, "You really went to Dwarf's Mine to find a magic crystal?"
"Huh?!" We all exclaimed. Waitaminute… didn't he just said we needed to go and get a crystal in order for us not to get expelled?
He looked away looking a little embarrassed as he stated, "I really didn't think…. You'd not only go but then return with a crystal in hand. I quietly completed the paperwork for your expulsion."
We gaped at him in utter shock before I almost gave him my ULTRA MEGA CHOP (He should be thankful that Hoshiko and Tsukiko held me back!) "WHY YOU…." I growled. "N-n-neesan please calm down!" Tsukiko pleaded, "yeah Hima-nee… easy now… quiet cayoteee*" Hoshiko said.
"FGNNA! The nerve of this guy!" Grim said angrily, "While we were off fighting some crazy beast!"
"Beast?" Mr. Crowley asked looking a little more confused.
Ace nodded and said, "There was a monster there! It was super gross and crazy strong! It was awful!"
"Could you explain in more details?" The masked headmaster asked looking more interested now.
We then told him the whole story, about the Dwarf's mine and the ink monster… well… we haven't mentioned about what happened to me and my sisters yet.
"I see…." Crowley said, "A mysterious monster living in the coal mine." He looked at us in astonishment as he continued, "and the six of you worked together to defeat it and bring back a magic crystal?"
Me and my sisters just nodded, but the guys well…
"We didn't really work together…" Ace replied.
"It was more like…. Our goals were aligned…" Deuce added.
"Ooooh…. Ooohh…. OOOOOHHH! OOOOHHHHH! SOB! SOB! SOB!"
"M-Mr. Crowley, Sir?! Are you all right?" Tsukiko cried worriedly.
We again gaped and watched in shock to see this full grown man falling down crying.
"What is with this guy?" Grim asked me looking just as surprised as I am. "Why is an adult bursting into tears?!"
"How should I know?!" I cried back.
Tsukiko quickly walked towards the Headmaster to help him up and console him. He looked at all of us while wiping away his tears saying, "In all the years that I've been headmaster….For the day to come that the students from Night Raven College go hand in hand to face and defeat their enemy!"
"WHAT?! I did not hold this guy's hand!" Deuce cried out looking weirded out.
"I would never do that! Gross!" Ace agreed, looking also freaked out. He then looked at the man curiously and asked, "But headmaster…. How old are you?"
"I'm overwhelmed with emotion." Mr. Crowley sniffled.
Sheesh… He's not really listening to us, is he.
Mr. Crowley stopped his tears and looked to us now with a more satisfied look. "This incident confirms it!" He then looks at me and my sisters as he said, "Himari, Tsukiko, and Hoshiko… without a doubt, you three have talent as a beast tamer!"
"Huh?!" We gasped.
Mr. Crowley nodded as he continued, "Students of Night Raven College are budding wizards called here by the Dark Mirror. However, they are of a superior class that makes them prideful and egotistical people… That have not even the slightest inkling to work with others. Making many of them selfish and self-centered."
"You're really not saying anything good." Grim said
"Oooohh…. In short, this school if full of Snobby, prissy, and jerky rich boys" I said with a friendly smile on my face but with a sarcastic tone.
"Neesan…"Tsukiko wailed, slightly shaking her head in disapproval.
"Yipes… she's just as bad as that guy!" Grim cried out.
Suddenly, Mr. Crowley paused and noticed something. "Ms. Akari…. What is that on your shirt?" He asked pointing at my sun amulet.
"Oh… ummm… well…" I began to say.
"Oh yeah that's right!" Ace cried out. He stepped forward looking a bit excited as he said, "Hey headmaster… it seems these girls were holding out of us! They CAN do magic and not just any magic, it was strong enough to destroy that Ink monster!"
Mr. Crowley's eyes widened as he looked not just at my amulet. But Hoshiko and Tsukiko's as well. His hand started shaking as he stuttered in pure shock, "I cannot believe it….. these are…. The legendary Trinity of Light!"
"Trinity of Light?" Deuce asked.
"They are legendary gemstones of light that were believed to possess strong Light Magic. I had always assumed it was merely just a fairy tale." He said. He pointed at each one as he further explained, "The one that Himari possesses is called the SUNDROP, while the one Tsukiko wears is called the MOONSTONE, and finally the one of young Hoshiko has is called the STARLIGHT. Legend has it that those with strong magical bloodlines are the only ones whom these gemstones will deem worthy as it's masters."
"Whoa! Are you serious?!" Ace cried out in shock.
"So all this time you girls can actually do that kind of high level magic!?" Deuce cried out in awe.
"FGNAAH NO WAY?!" Grim exclaimed.
"Wait hang on!" I cried out. "This whole thing is just as crazy as when we first arrived here. Like Tsukiko said before… we can't possibly be magic-users. If we were then we wouldn't have….." I then stopped myself before I said anything else. I gritted my teeth in frustration as I remembered all the times my sisters and I suffered back in our world.
I suddenly felt Mr. Crowley gently placing his hand on my shoulders as he seems to notice my frustrations. I was surprised to see him looking a bit concerned, he then said, "Ms. Akari… do you remember what the Dark Mirror said when he was analyzing you and your sisters?"
My eyes widened as I recalled the Mirror man's words:
"….Although I sense a spark from these three, there seems to be some sort of shadow covering it…."
I slowly nodded…
"Well it seems the incident in the Dwarf's mine perhaps triggered these gemstones to appear in order to protect you three….." Mr Crowley then looked at us before breaking into a joyful smile, "Since it has come to this I can see now what needs to be done! "
We all blinked and looked at him in utter confusion.
"As of the moment, you three can't seem to use your magic very well… but maybe, precisely because of that that, means that you three could give instructions to wizards and get them to cooperate. Perhaps that mediocrity is exactly what this school needs right now!" He said now looking more excited.
I can't help but feel even more annoyed at what he just said.
"He's not saying anything nice now, is he?" Ace said.
Mr. Crowley then looked at Me and my sisters, beaming with pride as he said, "I have no doubt that your existence is essential to the future of this academy. So say's my educator-senses"
….. oookay…. I just continued to stare in confusion, I also have a feeling my two sisters are sharing the same confused feeling.
He now looked at all of us as he announce, "Trappola. Spade. Along with rescinding your expulsion, I shall give you ladies the qualifications to attend Night Raven College as a student!"
"Wha?!"
"Are you serious?!" I gasped in disbelief. I looked at both Tsukiko and Hoshiko who looked ready to jump up and down with joy.
Mr. Crowley smiled more as he said, "Yes. For I am exceedingly gracious."
All three of us cheered and hugged each other in happiness until Mr. Crowley added, "But, there is one condition." We looked at him as he said in a more serious tone, "We still do not know the full knowledge regarding your gemstones or what type of magic you three might possess. You probably won't be able to complete all your lessons."
We nodded in understanding. That's fair… I don't feel any spark or something… maybe it was just a spur of a moment kind of thing.
He then turned to look at Grim saying, "That is why, Grim… you have proven to me that you posses enough talent to become a wizard. Therefore, I shall allow the four of you to enroll together as one student!"
Grim's eyes widened upon hearing those words. "I…. I can go to this academy too…." He whispered, "Not as a handyman, but as a student?"
"Yes. Provided that…." Mr. Crowley's face suddenly turned stern as he said, "You don't let an incident like yesterday occur again! Do we have an agreement?"
Grim's eyes began to water and soon big dollops of tears fall down on his cheeks, he stuttered, "Fffgnaaa….fnaaa… We-we can…."
All 3 of us quickly scooped the little cat monster smiling and saying, "Congratulations, Grim!", "Let's do our best Grim-chan!" Grim's face then broke into a huge smile and bounced on our arms as he cheered happily "FGNAAAH! I DID IT! We all laughed and jumped more in joy.
The men smiled and looked at us celebrating. Mr. Crowley then approached us smiling and said, "Well then, I shall give the symbol of your status as a student of Night Raven College, a magic crystal, to Grim."
With a flick of his hand, a purple crystal magically appeared tied around Grim like a collar.
"Magic Crystal?" Grim asked looking at his new accessory.
"It is the norm for students to have their magic crystals in the form of a 'magical pen'…. But you wouldn't be able to grip it in your paws right?" Mr. Crowley explained. "It's a special custom. I pay attention to even the smallest details! Aren't I too gracious?"
"I did it! I'm so cool! I got my own special magic crystal collar!" Grim chanted happily, he started waving his arms up and down enthusiastically.
"He isn't listening at all…" The headmaster sighed out. He looked at us again as he said, "Do you understand? As you three can see, Grim is not accustomed to human society. It's up to you my dears to take the reins and supervise him to prevent him from causing anymore trouble!"
We nodded. Suddenly Ace and Deuce approached closer to us, the red-headed student then teased at me saying, "Ahahaha, Look at you. School's just started but you're already a supervisor!"
Deuce smiled as he added, "I see… since there's only the four of you in your dorm…. So you've been entrusted with supervising Grim, and Himari, being the oldest… that makes her a supervisor."
I blushed and cried out, "H-Hey! Quit giving me random titles?!"
Hoshiko and Tsukiko just both laughed, "Actually Hima-nee… you do tend to act like a supervisor most of the time!"
I grew even red and cried out angrily, "H-HOSHIKO?! REALLY?!"
Ace laughed louder "See, even your sisters think so too… But isn't that unheard of? For there to be a supervisor student who doesn't know who to use her magic?"
"Why don't you come closer to see if I can?" I glared at him, ready to give him my special MEGA CHOP.
Ace held both his hands up still laughing nervously. He then smiled at me warmly as he said, "But you know… it's cool. You can be a supervisor student who doesn't use magic."
I blinked and then smiled brightly as I said, "I'll do my best."
Ace grinned back and said, "Ahahaha… Good Luck supervisor!"
"I see…. A supervisor…." Mr. Crowley contemplated…. "I do have a work request and having a title makes it very convenient…. This is wonderful!" He then snapped his fingers and a vintage looking brown camera magically appeared by my hands. "Supervisor, I entrust you with this!"
"Umm… what is this" I asked. My two sisters then came closer to me to check it out as well.
"This is nicknamed the 'GHOST CAMERA'. " Mr. Crowley explained.
"Ghost?!" I gasped looking at him nervously.
"Ah… I think my grandma told me about that." Ace said, "It's a super old magic tool right?"
I could hear Mr. Crowley let out an angry humph as he grumbled, "It is not 'super old'…." He cleared his through and explained further, "It's true this may have been invented during your great grandmother or great great grandmother's time. There is a very special spell cast on it. It not only captures the subjects' form, but also a part of their soul."
"HHIIII! A-A PART OF THEIR SOUL?!" Tsukiko squeeked out.
"Awesome!" Hoshiko whispered out.
"We call this 'MEMORY: A FRAGMENT OF REMEMBRANCE'." Mr. Crowley said, "Furthermore, the most interesting part of this magic camera is that the souls of the photographer and the photographed become deeply connected and…. The memory in the photo comes jumping out!"
"That is sooo cool!" Hoshiko exclaimed, her eyes sparkled with excitement.
"It comes jumping out?" I asked, inspecting the camera.
"Depending on how close the subject and the photographer are, the picture could move like a video, or bring to life the situation in the photo. Fascinating, right?" Mr. Crowley stated.
"Bringing the photo to life?" Deuce pondered, before realizing, "It's like a ghost photograph!"
The headmaster nodded and beamed saying, "Yes. Therefore, it is called a 'ghost camera'. They say it was made before the time of videos for when people wanted to leave behind vivid memories."
"Ooooh…." Me and my sisters said.
"Spade was correct. In the past, people would scream 'GHOST!' in surprise when the memory came jumping out." Mr. Crowley laughed a little as he continued, "They were paralyzed in fear at the thought of having a photo taken with this camera."
"A camera for freaking people out…"Ace muttered, shaking his head.
The headmaster looked at me and said, "Supervisor…. Please take photos of Grim and the other students to leave behind many memories of your lives in this academy."
I nodded, holding the camera closer to me.
"La la lalala…" Grim pranced closer to me as he said, "Be sure to take lots of cool photos of me!"
Mr. Crowley cleared his throat and sternly added, "… especially, always make sure to get 'MEMORIES' when someone steps out of line. It's a most suitable way to report to me, right? Keep an eye on your surroundings and take memories as the supervisor." He then gave a sideways glance and dramatically said, "To generously give you a rare item… that can be used by non-wizards…. Ah ha hah… Does my graciousness know no bounds?"
I just blankly stared at him and muttered out slowly…."Uh-huh….."
I took a deep breath and gave a humble bow to the principal as I said, "Thank you very much sir."
Both my sisters also followed suit.
Mr. Crowley smiled more and said, "It is getting late. Let's save the detailed conversation for tomorrow. Return to your dormitories everyone!"
"Pardon out intrusion!" Deuce said.
We nodded and then left.

"Haaaahhh…. Expulsion rescinded… I'm beat…." Deuce sighed out.
"Boy, oh boy…." Ace mumbled.
All 6 of us were walking down the quiet hallways. All of us looking very tired… well… with the exeption of Grim and Hoshiko who were both skipping merrily.
"La lala…. I start as a student of Night Raven College tomorrow." Grim cheerfully sang out, "I'm gonna leave you all in the dust and take the top spot!"
I sighed out, while both Tsukiko and Hoshiko just smiled happily.
"You talk big for someone who is only a quarter of a full student…" Ace jokingly said, "Anyway, it's fine."
"We're classmates tomorrow, Himari, Hoshiko, Grim…" He then looked at Tsukiko and shyly continued, "and Tsukiko."
My younger sister smiled warmly at them as she said, "Once again, it is very nice to meet you both."
Deuce smiled more… I could see his cheeks turning a slight shade of red…
Hmmm… please don't tell me he's…
"Yeah! Nice to meet you both, Deu-kun! Ace-kun!" Hoshiko chirped happily.
"Augh… what's with the weird nicknames?!" Ace groaned looking a little annoyed, "hearing that is really embarrassing. Will you stop?"
"Nope!" the youngest of us just smiled more…. Tough luck for you… once Hoshiko nicknames you… she sticks to it…..
Deuce chuckled in amusement saying, "Pfft… that's true. Even if we don't want to, we're going to see each other everyday. I mean… I'm even in Heartslaybyul with this jerk."
Ace smirked and retorted back, "Thinking about seeing your serious mug everyday, no thanks!"
"That's my line, truant Ace." Deuce huffed.
"Sure, sure. Almost expelled, crybaby Deuce." Ace said, he then looked at me, "Alrighty, see you tomorrow…. Supervisor." He then gave me a teasing wink before him and Deuce left.
I sighed and mumbled… "Ahhhh… that guy…."
Hoshiko giggled, "I think those two might make a good combo!"
Grim nodded and said, "They're the 'Fight because they're so close' type."
Tsukiko joined in the laughter saying, "You both might be right."
I looked at them and sighed before I stretched my arms out saying, "Whew! This day really was eventful!"
Grim smiled more and leaped into my arms as he said excitedly, "Well then, we better head back to the dorm! Tomorrow, we aren't handymen! Finally…. Finally…" He said tears again forming on his eyes, "Our bright and shiny academy life at Night Raven College begins!"
"YEAH!" We all cheered along.
In the midst of our little excitement, we did not notice our three gemstone and Grim's crystal giving a light glow.

FINALLY THE PROLOGUE IS FINISHED! YAAY!
How do you like the story so far!
I haven't been this excited for quite some time now. Can't wait to work on the HEARTSLAYBYUL ARC! First though… will have to work on Tsukiko's birthday story… hope you will enjoy it as well.
Just be warned… April to July is the busiest time of the year, so the next chapters will be a bit shorter than the prologue parts. But I will do my best to give my all to the story….
But seeing as how I do here… I need to reflect and put the same effort on my Original Comic series… I really missed doing that as well….
So thank you all for reading and enjoying this story. See you in the next one!
Enjoy and have a great week. Stay safe everyone.
