Lorenzo groaned as he woke up in a room he didn't recognize and felt his head throb. He started to sit up and felt someone help him.

"Easy, Lorenzo," Tyler said, helping him up, cautiously.

Lorenzo felt his neck and found fang marks then determined he still had a pulse. He breathed a sigh of relief.

"How long have you known vampires existed?" Tyler asked, edging away from Lorenzo.

Lorenzo looked questioningly at Tyler.

"The vampire that kidnapped us sucked your blood while you were passed out," Tyler said, "And you just checked to see if you had a pulse after checking for fang marks."

"Since I was nineteen," Lorenzo said, "My mom had come to visit me at college for reasons unknowns to me. I'd taken her out to dinner. She'd gone to wait outside while I got the check. The vampire managed to sneak by the guards and take her. I found them in the alley. When I got there I him sucking her blood. My guards weren't far behind. But I couldn't stop him before he took off and left her dead. One of the cops specialized in vampires and couldn't explain what I saw away. I got the briefest of explanations on vampires and other creatures. What did the vampire who sucked my blood look like?"

"Brown eyes," Tyler replied, "Hair color close to yours actually. I heard another vampire she was with call her name Martina."

Lorenzo groaned, "I'd hoped I was seeing things."

"Do you know her?" Tyler asked.

"She's my mother, I think, obviously turned instead of killed," Lorenzo said, reluctantly, "Has she said anything else to you? Provided any information on the situation we're in."

"I've been pretending to be knocked out until I heard you wake up," Tyler said, "Which in some respects has been easy because I think for my safety I need the vampires to believe that and not so easy because my senses are all over the place. I feel like I could hit the wall with my first and not flinch. Then there's the reddish gold tint around my skin. Care to explain that?"

"The girl that Kellie went searching for was kidnapped by vampires," Lorenzo said, "When Kellie was scoping out the warehouse she tracked the girl to, she ran into a private investigator and his team that she apparently crossed paths when she was on the run from with Ethan. They go into the warehouse and find the girl about to be sacrificed by a whole group of vampires. Kellie ended up undergoing the sacrificial ritual instead, but the ritual was interrupted. However, the interruption only appeared to slow down what the ritual was doing, not stop it."

"What is the sacrifice for?" Tyler asked, "Wait, Kellie's eyes were purple. Someone said it was a dye for the ritual."

"Not a dye," Lorenzo said, "Your eyes are currently reddish yellow. The ritual is supposed to bring back Lilith, a fallen angel, vampire queen, known as Adam's first wife in the Bible and I guess her mate, Lucifer. The people helping Kellie think since your Kellie's husband, the ritual chose you for Lucifer. I don't have more information. When you passed out, the focus was on getting you to where Kellie is and the people helping her. I figured I'd get more information at that point."

"Did my father and the kids get on the plane?" Tyler asked.

"I don't know," Lorenzo said, seeing Tyler edge further away from him and turn his face away from him, "But I hope so. Are you okay?"

"I have no idea," Tyler said, "I can smell your blood. Although the vampire blood I'm smelling is more enticing."

"You are absolutely not sucking vampire blood," Lorenzo said, "Not sure human blood is any better in this situation. But we might be in a bind if you absolutely need to drink blood right now."

Tyler's face contorted uncomfortably as his fangs grew out.

"I'll hold out," Tyler said.

"I don't have a lot of knowledge about vampires," Lorenzo said, "If you don't feed, you might lose control and go on killing spree."

"I still have to try," Tyler said, "I'll look for a way out. Maybe we can escape."

Tyler tried to open the one door to the room, but it was stuck hard. He attempted to kick and bang against the door hard with no luck.

"Reinforced steel, I'm guessing," Lorenzo said as Tyler tried again, "Maybe only opens from the outside."

This time the door opened inwards slamming into Tyler and sending him flying backwards.

Lorenzo looked to see Martina standing in the doorway.

"If it isn't my long lost spawn," Martina said, "I can't believe you're still alive. Figured the mob would have killed you by now."

"Unfortunately for you mother that's not the case," Lorenzo replied, "I'm frankly surprised to see you somewhat alive. I didn't think you'd actually been turned all those years ago."

"Well, I had to ensure there was no doubt I was dead at least to you, your brother, and your father," Martina said, "We both know your father would come after me to stake me at the very least if not try to take me prisoner. He couldn't allow me to leave him. Never mind that he was a cheating bastard. The only misfortune here is the key to resurrecting Lilith lies with the offspring of his mistress's whore of a daughter."

Lorenzo saw Tyler trying to regain control of his senses, his fangs, however that looked.

"You really haven't changed a bit," Lorenzo said, "As cold and uncaring as ever."

"At least I waited to be turned until you and your brother grew up," Martina said, "You could join me, son. Let me turn you. Just think of the power you would have. You wouldn't have to worry about the mob killing you at some point, especially Sonny Corinthos. I know you have some sort of deal with him to allow you walk free. But how long do you think that will really last. I think you being his daughter's uncle only gets you so far."

"I'll take my chances," Lorenzo said.

Martina got closer to Lorenzo and let her fangs out.

"Maybe I should just finish you off now," Martina said, picking Lorenzo up with one hand, "Make sure you won't be a problem ever again."

Lorenzo struggled, flailing, as Martina was about to bite him.

She was stopped by Tyler grabbing Lorenzo from her. Tyler shoved Lorenzo out of the way harder then he intended.

Martina laughed hysterically as Tyler lashed out, grabbing her, biting her, and sucking her blood.

"Yes," Martina said, "Drink it up."

"Tyler, don't," Lorenzo yelled as the aura around Tyler got stronger.

Hyperion Hotel

Cordelia and Johnny found Spike and Kellie in the kitchen.

"Spinelli was able to identify the vampire that kidnapped Tyler and Lorenzo," Johnny said.

"That was faster than I might have expected," Kellie said, "Considering there might not have been a modern record of this vampire at least in his usual channels. Actually does Spinelli even know he's looking for a vampire?"

"No, he does not," Johnny said, "We figured he could stick his usual tactics which surprisingly yielded a result."

"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Kellie asked.

"Madam vampire is your grandma Martina Alcazar," Cordelia said.

"What?" Kellie asked, "I don't have an Alcazar grandmother."

"Kellie's no relation to Lorenzo's mom," Johnny said, "His father liked to get around."

"Got it," Cordelia said.

"Spinelli got a hit so fast because he ran facial recognition against known connections," Johnny said, "Given the number of people that never really die connected to Port Charles, he included dead relatives connected to your families."

"So uncle's mommy dearest is a vamp," Spike said, "Was he aware of this?"

"I don't think so," Kellie said, "He always told me his mom died when her lover stabbed her. I don't have any reason to think he knew any different. He saw her die."

"If he saw his mom die," Johnny said, "He saw the vampire. He figured out when he saw Tyler we were dealing with something other than humans."

"He may not have known she was turned," Spike said.

"Any known addresses?" Kellie asked.

"Not yet," Johnny said.

"She may be operating under several different names," Spike said, "And we don't know who she may be working with."

"According to Wesley's watcher journals," Cordelia said, "Martina was turned by her lover, Sam Lawson and they ran around together until just before he came to LA and Angel dusted him. No record of who she's been consorting with these days. But she is a nasty piece of work. Nice little reign of terror she had all throughout Central and South America.

"You've got to be kidding me," Spike said, "If Sammy boy turned her, that explains her nasty streak."

"You know this Sam Lawson how?" Kellie asked.

"One and only vampire Angel turned when he got himself a soul," Spike said, "To keep us all from dying on a Nazi submarine in World War II. Peaches left Sam to fend for himself and he eventually came back for revenge resulting in his dusty demise."

"Wesley found a few exploits with Druscilla as well," Cordelia said, "Let's hope your insane ex doesn't make an appearance."

"Bloody hell," Spike said, "That's the last thing we need."

"Well, now that we've cleared that up," Cordelia said, "Has she sung for Lorne yet?"

"I'm not singing," Kellie said, "Any word on the search in the tunnels?"

"Not yet," Johnny said.

"Sorry, Pistol," Spike said, "You are going to have to sing for Lorne."

"No thank…" Kellie said before her body jerked, her fangs appeared, and she froze. Her body shimmered grey again as it began to levitate mid-air.

"Tyler," Kellie yelled as Spike and Johnny grabbed Kellie to keep her closer to the ground.
