BIRTHDAY SPECIAL CHAPTER 001 : TSUKIKO AKARI

NCR Interviewer : Happy Birthday!
TSUKIKO : Thank you so much. I really wasn't expecting any of this.
NCR Interviewer : You really didn't have have a clue that your sisters and classmates will throw you this celebration?
TSUKIKO : (Shakes head) No not at all… it really took me by surprise, celebrating this with a lot of people. Its' usually just me and my sisters whenever its' any of our Birthdays. This birthday had me so overwhelmed with joy I cried a bit… sorry I almost cried again.
NCR Interviewer : It's ok…. If it's not too much of a trouble to ask… how do you celebrate your birthday before coming to Night Raven College.
TSUKIKO : Oh… well usually my sisters and I go out and have a simple dinner at a local food place. Sometimes Neesan buys a nice birthday cake for me. Once my birthday was on a weekend so we celebrated it by visiting the aquarium and even a beautiful garden maze. We had such a good time. Even though I was the celebrant I prepared a wonderful packed lunch… well because I didn't want Neesan to trouble herself with the cooking… ehehehe…Oh and also She and Hoshiko gave me a beautiful handmade journal and a delicious strawberry cake. I really loved it. Although we almost couldn't get out of the maze that time… it was still fun.
NCR Interviewer : You and your sisters seem really close.
TSUKIKO : Yes…. I love them dearly… and I can't imagine my life without them.

NCR Interviewer : You seem to love books and gardening. Would it be ok to ask you about them?
TSUKIKO : Sure, I don't mind at all
NCR Interviewer : What types of books do you love to read? History, Art, etc?
TSUKIKO : Hmmm… well I am rather fond on books about History, especially about this world Twisted Wonderland. I also enjoy reading about the basics of potion making and spells… oh and the books about magical plants and herbs. I really love to read literature, especially about the princess and the raven prince series. Azul gave me the latest volume of the series as a birthday present and I am very excited to read it!
NCR Interviewer : Wow. You really love to read.
TSUKIKO : E-eh!? Oh my gosh, how embarrassing. I'm sorry I must have babbled a lot
NCR Interviewer : No it's great that you love reading. Most people nowadays mostly watch videos or scan the internet.
TSUKIKO : Tee hee… I love to read… we don't usually watch television often back in our world. Neesan likes to spend time outdoors while it's Himari whose into social media. I really enjoy reading ever since I was a child, my favorite was "A LITTLE PRINCESS" and "MOMOTARO". I also love "THE TALES OF GENJI" and "SENSE AND SENSIBILITY"

NCR Interviewer : We also noticed that you spend a lot of time at the Botanical Garden.
TSUKIKO : Yes…other than the Library, that place is one of my favorite areas. I love the plants and flowers there. Some of them I actually have never seen before in our world.
NCR Interviewer : So you take care of the gardening all by yourself?
TSUKIKO : Hmmm… well yes but often times other students help me as well, like my sisters if they have free time. Then Deuce sometimes comes over to help me as well. Even Leona helps me sometimes with the gardening… well since he often goes there to take a nap, it seems fair. There are occasions some of the fairies come by and help me out with the gardening.
NCR Interviewer : Do you also grow other types of plants.
TSUKIKO : On one part of the garden I have an area where I'm tending to a small strawberry and vegetable garden.
NCR Interviewer : Vegetables?
TSUKIKO : Yes, like potatoes, radish, tomatoes, and among others. When its harvest time I collect them and use them to make wonderful dishes for me, my sisters and Grim. Even Jamil and Ruggie sometimes asks for some of them. The strawberries are also delicious, when they are ripe I harvest some and give them to Trey to make delicious tarts and cakes.
NCR Interviewer : That sounds delicious.
TSUKIKO : Thank you… it makes me happy when they enjoy it… especially Neesan, as she is not very fond of vegetables.
NCR Interviewer : Okay…. Just for the fun of it… and it is off the record… is there anyone among the guests that you may particularly be interested in? You know… more than friends type (wink wink)
TSUKIKO : …. E-EHHH… ANOO … EHHHHHH?! C-can we please change the subject…
NCR Interviewer : Lol… sorry… okey, okey…. Aside from reading and gardening, many say you're an excellent cook… is there any specific dish that you enjoy to eat?
TSUKIKO : Well… I love Udon… and grilled unagi as well. Oh there is a dish that Jamil made and I got to try it. It was a spiced vegetable dish from his hometown. I really loved the taste of it. I told him how wonderful it was and if he can teach me how to make it someday… it was weird though, he became quiet and his face turned red, mumbling "Anytime is fine" before walking away. I guess it must be a secret family recipe or something… I hope I did not put him in an awkward position.
NCR Interviewer : I'm sure that's not the reason… anyway before we wrap up, do you have anything to say to all you wonderful guests?
TSUKIKO : To my sisters and Grim…. Thank you for this beautiful party. To the headmaster, thank you for allowing us to stay in you school. To everyone thank you for celebrating with me today… let's continue to create special memories together!
