NORMAL POV
HALL OF MIRRORS
After discussing their plans… The group then travelled towards the hall of mirrors of NRC.
"So which dorm shall we head off first, Cater?" Himari asked.
"Well, first off we will head off to Pomefiore." Cater said, "I've marked third year, Rook Hunt in my 'Cater Check'."
"Ah, I see…" Himari said. Deep down though, She is a bit unconvinced given that she knew that's where the arrogant Dorm Head Vil resides. Given what Cater has told them before, she doubts if there was anyone who were actually into sports in the dorm that only cares about beauty and make up.
They all then stood in front of the mirror that will lead them to Pomefiore dorm. The design of the mirror frame shows a silver peacock statue adorned around it, with the emblem of the dorm on top.
The group then stepped in and in a bright flash of light they came upon a majestic castle.

POMEFIORE DORM
"Oh wow!" Hoshiko breathed out in pure wonder. "It looks just like the castle in one of Tsuki-nee's fairy tale books!"
"Yes, it's truly magnificent," Tsukiko said looking around the garden in amazement.
Himari just whistled out in awe as she thought, "Well I guess each dorm must be really grand… considering this is a school for the Rich kids."
"Let's all head inside." Cater said. Everyone nodded and followed the Red-Haired student.

HIMARI POV
POMEFIORE DORM : LOUNGE
We all then entered the hallways of the dorm, the inside was even grander than outside. The walls are covered in purple colors and gold linings adorning every nook and cranny. Golden elegant chandeliers lighting up the hallways. I swear, I feel like we were in a 5 star hotel rather than a school dormitory.
"So Cay-kun," Hoshiko asked, "Do you know what this Rook Hunt looks like?"
Cater nodded as he looked at his magicam and answered, "Yup, his trademark look are his blond bob hairstyle and hat."
"Last year, Rook was a stand out player." Riddle remarked, "But, there's something off about him…."
"Really?" Tsukiko asked.
"Isn't that him sitting over there?" Deuce pointed out.
We stopped to looked ahead to see three individuals sitting by the lounge and drinking tea. Ugh… I couldn't help but cringe as I saw that one of them was that prissy snob Vil. Sitting next to him was Rook Hunt, Cater was definitely right in regards to what he looks like, he had bob hairstyle, average build and wearing a wide brimmed brown hat with a feather attached to it. Across the table looked like a freshman, hey wait… that's the guy that Deuce and Grim mistook for as a girl.
Maybe it was because of the interior but they seem to sparkle a lot….
"Wow!" Ace breathed out, "They almost look shiny…."
We silently got closer just a bit to observe their conversation. We then could hear Rook speak out to the young freshman in an slight French accented voice, "Non non, little Epel. It is not elegant to put your fingers through the handle when you drink tea."
The one called, Epel looked a bit startled and nervously tried to hold the cup right while mumbling, "Eh… ah…. Alright. I'm sorry."
Vil looked at Epel in disapproval before he went back to contemplating on his own thoughts as he said, "Hmmm… I am still undecided about the makeup for the tournament. I'm very curious about the new foundation from Felicite cosmetics."
Ugh… seriously he is still worried more about make up?!
Rook on the other hand looks more pleased than worried about what Vil said, he laughed softly as he said, "Ah hahaha! My lovely Vil, our Rois de Poisson! Your light is not so fleeting that it needs cosmetics to compensate."
Vil then sighed out and spoke in a haughty manner, "I am aware, my dear. But if I want to aim one rank higher, I can't hold back."
"Wonderful! That spirit of yours. It is truly marvelous!" Rook said as he looked utterly impressed.
I groaned and massage the bridge on my nose as I felt a bit annoyed by the conversation. Seriously, if that Prissy guy breaks a nail during the magift tournament he would probably shriek like a little sissy.
"Hmm… that guy doesn't seem strong at all. If I was the culprit I wouldn't go after him." Grim muttered looking as unimpressed as I was.
"I don't know…" Hoshiko said looking earnestly at the trio, "Remember what Trey-nii said, they may be into beauty and stuff but they are strong in regards to creating potions including poisons."
I looked at my younger sister and looked back at the three… I can't help but agree with my little sister. Hoshiko always has a keen sense when it comes to observing people.
I then noticed Cater looking at Hoshiko with an impressed look in his face. (I really hate it when guys look at my sisters like that… it could only mean one thing.)
He then noticed me glaring at him before he looked away and cleared his throat saying, "L-Let's go check the next."
We all nodded and left.
If I had turned around I probably would have noticed Rook staring at us silently as we left.

NORMAL POV
NIGHT RAVEN COLLEGE : COURTYARD
The group were now at the courtyard and Cater was looking at his Magicam as he said, "Next is Octavinelle Dorm. For my 'CATER CHECK', I marked the brothers Jade and Floyd Leech as high probability. According to my info, they're know for their combo attacks and using them to wipe the floor with any opponent."
"So you mean those two over there?" Himari asked looking at someone.
The group looked at where the elder Akari sister was pointing at, at a nearby tree were 2 students. Both sharing identical features short, straight-cut hair that's teal in color, with short bangs and one long streak of dark-gray hair framing on one side. Both boys eyes have only one yellow and one olive-brown color.
"Wah!" Grim exclaimed, "There's two dudes with the same face."
Ace nodded and gulped nervously as he added. "And… those two… they're so tall they make all the other students around them look tiny."
"They're tall and lanky but they look like they aren't ones to mess with." Grim continued.
"Then you wanna mark those two?" Deuce asked looking at Riddle.
The Heartslabyul dorm leader crossed his arms as he said, "Hmm… if I was the culprit, I'd save those two for last." His frown deepend as he added, "Those guys…. Especially Floyd, aren't people I want to get anywhere near to."
"Hmm… sound like you had a bad issue with them, eh Riddle?" Himari asked.
Riddle was about to reply when all of a sudden.
"Ah! It's Goldfish!"
The group jumped in surprise. They were so preoccupied in their conversation that they failed to notice that one of the twins has already approached them.
"Gah! He found me!" Riddle cried out.
Floyd leech looked down at Riddle as he chuckled out, "Goldfish, what're you doing? Hide and seek? Hehehe… it looks fun."
Riddle then composed himself before he scowled and said, "F-Floyd. How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that weird nickname?"
"Oh… but you're small and red, just like a goldfish."
Hoshiko, who was carrying Grim, giggled at Floyds remarks while the cat monster grumbled out, "This guy's a weirdo."
Floyd overheard Grim's remark and towered over the youngest Akari sister and Grim as he said, "Wow! A talking cat! So funny! Hehehe…. And look at you…." He then leaned closer and smiled wider as he looked down at Hoshiko, "You're so cute and bubbly like a little starfish… I'll call you that from now on okey little Starfish. Hey hey hey, can I give you both a tight squeeze?"
Grim looked really scared as he cried out, "S-squeeze!? No way!"
Just then both Hoshiko and Grim were pulled back by a not so happy looking Himari as she snarled out, "Hey! Back away from my sister!"
Floyd looked surprised for a moment before he gave a care-free laugh and said, "Wow, you sure remind me of an old grumpy shark that I met as a kid. I know I'll call you little Sharky how about that?"
It took all the efforts of Ace, Deuce, Cater and Riddle to hold back Himari, who was ready to pounce and beat the living daylights out of Floyd. Himari growled and shouted, "WHO ARE YOU CALLING 'LITTLE SHARKY', YOU BIG GOLEM!?"
Tsukiko frantically kept trying to calm her sister down while Hoshiko had to hold back her laughter.
Instead of being scared Floyd was rather enjoying the scene and laughing even more.
"Hmm… what's this? Heartslabyul and the mysterious sisters are all together." Everyone stopped and turned to see the other brother Jade was approaching them. Unlike his twin who seemed carefree, Jade gave a prim and proper look.
"So I guess this guy must be, Jade." Himari thought, as she has calmed down.
Jade Leech looked at the group with curious gaze and he smiled and asked, "Are you perhaps doing reconnaissance for the magical shift tournament?"
"Uuummm… well…" Tsukiko said looking nervous.
"Ah hehehe…. Um… it's actually a rather long story…" Cater mumbled scratching the back of his head nervously.
Both twins now looked at the group with matching mysterious smiles as Jade remarked, "We cannot simply overlook your attempts at spying now can we. Could I trouble you to go into details about your reasons for coming to spy on us?"
"Uh Oh," Hoshiko whispered knowing it's looking bad.
"This guy's demeanor say's calm and collected but his eyes aren't smiling at all…." Ace muttered nervously.
Although the twins looked pleasant and friendly, behind their smiles the group can sense a menacing aura from both of them.
Himari slowly and cautiously backed away while silently pulling her sisters and Grim away slowly. Even the Heartslabyul students began follow Himari's action.
"Anyway…"Cater chuckled nervously, "Pardon for the intrusion!" As if that was a signal, both Ramshackle and Heartslabyul made a mad dash away from them.

NORMAL POV
NIGHT RAVEN COLLEGE : COURTYARD
"WHAT IS SERIOUSLY UP WITH THOSE TWO!? THERE IS NO WAY THAT THE CULPRIT WOULD BE DUMB ENOUGH TO GO AFTER THEM, ESPECIALLY THAT FREAKY GOLEM!" Himari cried out while all of them were still running.
"FGNAH! NO KIDDING!" Grim groaned.
"Uuum guys…. They seem to be chasing after us," Hoshiko chirped, despite the situation they were in the youngest sister seems to find it all to hilarious.
"GEH! HOSHIKO'S RIGHT! THEY'RE COMING AFTER US!" Deuce exclaimed.
"Hey, hey, wait up~" Floyd called out playfully.
"WHO IN THE THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WAIT?" Riddle snapped while glaring angrily at the Leech twin. "EVERYONE RETREAT!"
The group nodded and quickly made a right turn before disappearing down the hallways of the school.
"Aahh… there they go." Floyd sighed out looking rather disappointed.
The twins have already stopped chasing after the group and just stood there. Jade gave a hearty chuckle as he said, "Hehehehe, it was an enjoyable game of tag. We even got a chance to finally meet with the infamous Akari sisters. They really are such a lovely trio, especially the one with Golden hair."
"Booo…" Floyd pouted out, "I really wanted to play with them some more, especially with Little Starfish."
Jade just smiled before he looked at his watch and said, "My my, Floyd. It is almost time to get ready at Monstro Lounge. We'll have to save playing with them for another time."
Floyd simply shrugged and smirked as he replied, "Fiine."

NORMAL POV
NIGHT RAVEN COLLEGE : MAINSTREET
After running for some time, the group have finally managed to stop and take a breather.
"That was scary!" Grim cried out nervously, "What's their deal?"
"Don't ask me." Riddle huffed out, "They have been that way since last year and I just can't handle them."
"W-Well… like Neesan said, there is no chance that the culprit will go after those two." Tsukiko said while trying to catch her breathe.
Cater nodded and said, "I'd be afraid of their revenge if I went after them."
"I wouldn't even try." Ace muttered.
"Well the sun's going down soon," Cater said, "So let's get to our last 'CATER CHECK' for today."
"Ok so who is it then." Himari asked, internally hoping it's not another freaky character.
"Jack Howl from Savanaclaw Dorm. First year." Cater said, "He's super good at anything involving physical activities, and I heard a rumor that he's got a flood of invitations from every sports club."
"Oh wow, he sounds so cool!" Hoshiko chirped in.
"Hmm…. It may be that he could be targeted next…. He would most likely be a threat if he is really that good at sports." Himari nodded.
Deuce looked in the sky and said, "It's late enough so he might already be back at his dorm."
Riddle took out his pocket watch and chimed in, "Aah… it's already 5:00. 'LAWS OF THE QUEEN OF HEARTS NUMBER 346: ONE MUST NOT PLAY CROQUET IN THE GARDEN AFTER 5PM'." He then turned to look at the others and continued, "I need to return to the dorm. There are those who break the rules if I take my eyes off them."
Grim muttered out, "I thought you'd loosened up a bit but you're the same as ever."
"Grim!" Tsukiko gasped out, shushing the little feline monster.
Riddle looked a bit flabberghasted before muttered out nervously, "Guuh… I thought I have loosened the rules up a lot, like a lot."
Himari gave a slight bop on Grims head as she smiled at Riddle and said, "Don't mind this little furball! Relax Riddle, you have changed a lot… in a good way."
Cater nodded and said, "Hmmhmm…. You are much more lenient than before. Your seriousness is one of your good points, Riddle."
Riddle couldn't help but blush a bit. Once again, he felt the same fluttery like feeling upon gazing at Himari's smiling face. Both Cater and Hoshiko gave knowing smiles at the Heartslabyul dorm leader's reaction, knowing full well what is happening.
Unknown to the group, Ace couldn't help but frown and feel a bit annoyed… for some reason he didn't like the way both his Dorm leader and Hima were looking at each other.
Riddle then cleared his throat trying to calm himself down as he said, "W-well then… I will head back now. Have a good evening everyone…" He looked at Himari and quietly said, "and you as well, Himari." He took a few steps back before giving her a gentleman's bow and then walking off.
Himari smiled, while she nodded and waved at him saying, "yeah see you tomorrow, Riddle."
As soon as the red-headed dorm leader was gone, Ace then cried out, "Okay, We should get over to Savanaclaw!"
"Right!" Himari agreed.
The group went straight to the Hall of mirrors and stood in front of another mirror whose frame was covered in small boulders, there appeared to be Elephant tusks surrounding it, as well as claw marks. And on the top of the mirror frame is the emblem of a Lions head with a scar on its right eye. The group looked at each other and nodded before stepping into the magical gateway towards Savanaclaw dorm.

NORMAL POV
SAVANACLAW DORM
"Whoa~ So this is Savanaclaw dorm." Deuce said in awe.
Unlike the previous dorms that the Ramshackle and Heartslabyul residents have visited, Savanaclaw was more of a wild safari look. The area itself seemed to be in a deserted area, the structure of the dorm itself are made of large rocks and boulders.
"It's amazing, it's as if we were in Africa or something like that." Tsukiko breathed out in amazement.
"Hmmm….what animal did that big skeleton come from?" Grim asked as he poked on a large animal skeleton.
"Got to say, this place looks cool!" Himari said.
Ace nodded and said, "It's got a totally different vibe from our dorm."
"Right. It's like, rough and tumble? Just the air feels wild, y'know." Cater remarked.
Upon hearing the last part of what Cater said, Tsukiko felt the sense of familiarity and in a brief second the memory of her strange dream came back to her. "The wind…. Huh…" Tsukiko whispered.
"Something up, Tsuki-nee?" Hoshiko asked.
Tsukiko smiled and slightly shook her head… for now she decided to stay quiet in regards to her dream.
"So anyway," Himari said looking around, "We need to look for this, Jack right? So what does he look like anyway?"
Cater took out his phone to check as he said, "Tan skin with silver hair. His wolf-like ears and bushy tail are his trademarks apparently."
"Oh… isn't it that guy over there that's running around the yard?" Hoshiko chirped out.
The rest of the group turned to where Hoshiko was pointing at. There running around was a young muscular student with wolf ears and tail.
"Bingo! Hoshiko chan wins this one." Cater said in a sing song tone." He fits the description perfectly. There's no doubt."
Ace gasped out, "We've got another big one after those twins earlier!"
"That's why all the clubs were trying to scout him." Cater said.
"He's probably good at martial arts too with that brawn." Deuce added.
Himari observed the wolf boy and couldn't help but feel rather impressed by him. He looked like the kind of guy who always gives his all in whatever physical work he does. "Let's go and talk to him then."
"You're so enthusiastic, Himachan. Okay… lets go." Cater replied. He looked at Hoshiko and added, "Don't worry… if he tries to bite any of you girls, I'll protect you, okay."
Before he could put his arm around Hoshiko's shoulders, he stopped in midair as he saw the intense glare of the older Akari sister. Laughing nervously he took a few steps away from Hoshiko, before the group then approached Jack.
"Hey, prickly guy!" Grim called out.
"Huh?" Jack muttered looking at the group curiously.
"Some bad guys might be coming after you so we decided to protect you! Aren't you happy?" Grim said with a smug look in its feline face.
Jack frowned as he growled lowly, "What's your problem? Don't get in the way of my running."
The rest of the group quickly rushed forward in panic.
"Aah" Ace sighed out.
"Wait a second, Grim!" Cater exclaimed as he grab hold of the little feline monster, "Your way of confronting him has way too many problems!"
"He's right Grim! You're being too forward." Tsukiko gasped out nervously.
As Cater covered Grim's mouth, Himari stepped forward and said, "Sorry about this little furball. Hope you don't mind, but do you think you can hear us out for a moment?"
Jack crossed his arms and looked at the group as he asked, "What do you want out of the blue? You're going to protect me?"
"Recently there have been a large number of accidents around campus involving students likely to be playing in the upcoming magical shift tournament.", Deuce explained.
"And we're looking for the culprit." Ace added.
"What's that got to do with me?" Jack asked.
"To put it bluntly," Cater replied, "we think you're likely to be targeted next so our plan is to put a mark on you and catch them in the act. Thoughts? Would you be willing to help us out?"
Jack then coldly said, "I refuse. I'll figure something out on my own so there's no need for you to protect me."
"But… it might be dangerous if you're by yourself." Tsukiko said in a concerned tone.
"Look, I admire the fact that you try to find the solution on your own." Himari said, "But in this case, there's more safety in numbers."
Jack glared down at the oldest and growled out, "I said I don't need it! And…." He looked away as he muttered, "Me being targeted… probably wont happen. See ya." He then turned and walked away.
"Aah… and there he goes." Cater sighed out.
"He sure was a rude jerk, huh." Grim huffed out.
"Maybe because you were a bit pushy Grim chan." Hoshiko giggled.
Grim cried out in annoyance, "Gaah! Having to pick a different way to talk to everyone makes humans such a pain!"
Tsukiko then noticed her older sister was quiet all that time, she approached her and asked, "Neesan.. is something wrong."
"What Jack said in the last part… what did he mean by that?" Himari said.
"OI! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?"
The group turned to see 3 largely built students from Savanaclaw dorm approaching them. One of them looked at Ace and the other boys as he remarked, "Ah… they're from Heartslabyul."
The 3rd one laughed as he mockingly said, "They're that red brat's grunts!" He soon noticed the Akari sisters and said, "Oooh and its those chicks from that worn down Ramshackle dorm!"
The 1st student growled out, "Did you really think we'd let you come onto our territory and just leave like that?"
"Ugh… this Pattern…" Deuce gulped nervously. Himari pulled Tsukiko behind her as she glared at the three, already prepared to take them on. She took a glance to her youngest sister and was surprised and slightly impressed that Cater suddenly stood in front of Hoshiko in a protective stance. Ace chuckled nervously as he and the others were slowly walking to leave, "Ah, we're leaving! Sorry about the intrusion~" Before the group could walk any further, the 3 blocked their path as they smirked and looked down on them like a predator about to devour it's prey.
"Hey don't be like that," said the 2nd Savanaclaw resident, he looked at them and finally at the Akari sisters with a hungry look as he added, "come and hang with us!" His buddy joined in as he said, "Hehehe! Let's play a game of cat and mouse! Ya'll are mice of course!"
The Heartslabyul and Ramshackle group looked at them both looking scared and at the same time ready to fight. Himari was about to take them down when a voice called out,
"Knock it off."
The group then turned to see the Dorm leader of Savanaclaw Leona with his 2nd in command Ruggie.
Tsukiko's eyes widened and whispered out in surprise, "Oh… it's you again!"
