SAVANNACLAW DORM

"Dorm Head Leona!"

Both the Heartslabyul and Ramshackle residents turn to see the Dorm leader Leona Kingscholar and his vice dorm leader Ruggie approaching the group.

"Huh… it's that guy again." Himari thought. Remembering him from the Dorm leader meetings.

One of the Savannaclaw students then pointed at Himari's group saying, "These guys are the ones that thoughtlessly encroached on our territory!"

"We were gonna rough them up a bit and maybe have some fun with those girls! Hehehe!" Another resident smirked looking at Akari sisters with hungry eyes.

Himari glared back at him while already cracking her knuckled and growled out, "Oh… you're so welcome to try, jackass!"

Ruggie lazily blinked at the sisters and Grim before exclaiming, "Aren't ya'll the guys I met at the cafeteria?" He then looked directly at Hoshiko, who smiled and gave a friendly wave. Seeing again the cute girl who offered him food made him feel a little warm and fuzzy on the inside. Ruggie's cheeks gave a small blush but he then quickly composed himself and gave a wave back with a mischievous grin.

"AAHH, YOU! DELUXE MENCHI KATSU SANDWICH!" Grim cried out angrily ready to charge towards the Hyena boy.

"Woah, woah, woah! Don't go around giving people delicious sounding names!" Ruggie said looking a bit annoyed. "I have a proper name befitting my manly stature. It's Ruggie Bucchi. Don't wear it out!"

Hoshiko just giggled while still holding on to Grim who was ready to pounce at him.

Leona raised one eyebrow up as he stared at Himari saying, "So… what brings the Dorm leader of Ramshackle and her little cronies here sneaking into our turf."

Himari crossed her arms and glared back at the young Lion as she said, "Well for your information we were about to head back, but then these trio of morons decided to pick a fight with us."

"HEY! WHO ARE YOU CALLING MORONS!" The 3 larger bullies growled angrily, but then all 3 fell silent as Leona glared at them. Leona once again looked at the other group but his eyes widened as he saw Tsukiko.

"Hey….I know you…" He then came closer to the blue haired sister who gave a flustered noise. Her cheeks turning slightly red. Himari and Deuce quickly pulled Tsukiko behind them in a protective manner while glaring at Leona.

Leona then crossed his arms looking at the two in annoyance as he drawled out, "Ah… now I remember you…. You're that herbivore that stepped on my tail in the botanical gardens."

"Eh?!" Himari blinked looking a bit confused.

"WHAT!? DORM HEAD LEONA'S TAIL?" One of the 3 bullies growled out in anger.

"No forgiving that!" His other companions growled out also.

Tsukiko once more gave a small eep before bowing and saying, "Ummm… yes… and once again I'm really really sorry!"

Himari blinked looking back and forth at her younger sister to Leona, then something clicked inside of her before she looked back at Leona and roared out, "WAIT! SO THAT MEANS YOU WERE THE JERK WHO THREATENED MY SISTER AT THE BOTANICAL GARDEN!? IF I HAD KNOWN IT WAS YOU, I'VE WOULD HAVE ALREADY WHOOPED YOUR DUMB ASS BACK THEN DURING THE MEETING!"

"E-EEP! Please calm down sister!" Tsukiko cried nervously. Ace approached Himari and was ready to hold her down again just in case. Cater looked nervous as he whispered, "ooh boy…."

For just a brief moment, even the proud lion felt a something that he never thought he would feel… a slight fear.

The other savanaclaw resident gulped as he also sensed danger coming from the Elder sister. He plucked up the courage and sputtered out, "H-HEY! Just because she said "SORRY" doesn't mean it fixes everything!"

"Oh yeah…" Ruggie said calmly as he looked at Tsukiko, "I was wondering where I saw you. It was the botanical garden." He then gave a small snicker as he remembered the state he found them.

Tsukiko then looked at her sister and said, "N-Neesan its ok… it really was my fault to begin with so please calm down."

Himari said in a rather eerie calm tone, "I know that… but the thing that irks me is that you already apologized, but this guy still goes and threatens you. That I will never overlook!"

"Yeah!" Deuce replied also looking just as angry as Himari, "I agree with you there, Himari!"

"HUH?!" Ace, Tsukiko, Cater and Grim looked at Deuce in surprise. While Hoshiko just gave a knowing smile.

Whatever fear the Savanaclaw residents had a while ago seems to have dispersed before one of them said, "Leona, Ruggie, let's show them who's boss!"

Leona yawned as he drawled out, "Stop yapping' like a pack of wild dogs! What are you gonna do if your little fit of violence interferes with the magift tournament?"

The other students looked at their dorm leader in disbelief and cried out, "You're saying that we should ignore these trespassers? But, they're such tasty looking prey."

Leona's face then chaged into a sneaky smirk as he replied, "Nobody said anything about ignoring them. We'll solve this 'peacefully' with a game of magical shift."

"With magift?"

"We can go crazy with magic during the game without breaking any rules." Leona explained smugly.

"Shishishishi!" Ruggie snickered and said, "Leona, you're such a bully. These guys don't look like they could handle more than one game."

Grim who has had enough quickly squirmed himself out of Hoshiko's grasp as he stood next to an already fuming Himari, an annoyed Ace and an offended Deuce. The little feline then growled lowly, "Mmggh mmggh mmggh! I'm not gonna just take that lying down!"

"Yeah…" Himari answered, once again cracking her knuckles.

"Ugh,"Deuce sighed out, "Doesn't feel like we can refuse and go home."

Ace then smirked and said, "Alright, let's do this." He then turned to look at Cater and added, "Cater! Don't forget about the tryouts."

"Eeeh… seriously?" Cater sighed out in defeat, "You're all hopeless…"

Hoshiko just smiled and gave a small shrug.

Tsukiko then grabbed Himari's arm as she said, "Neesan… wait! Please don't tell me you plan to fight them also?"

Himari gave a smirk and said excitedly, "Of course I'm gonna join! I'm gonna make sure that guy pays for threatening you like that."

Tsukiko then sternly looked at her older sister and scolded, "But neesan! You don't know much about magift! You just only started playing the game, how can you just jump in like that?!"

Himari, blinked in surprise, there were very rare occasions where her gentle younger sister gets angry and it seems this was one of those moments.

She then looked at Tsukiko and with a serious face she said calmly, "I may not be a pro… but I just can't let it slide of anyone who would threaten or disrespect my family in any way!"

"But neesan…."

Himari's face soften giving Tsukiko a reassuring smile as she added, "Don't worry too much okey. It's still just a game… and besides I have these knuckleheads to help me up also."

"HEY!" Ace, Deuce and Grim exclaimed all three looking really annoyed.

"Still…." Tsukiko whispered looking more worried.

"Hey!" Himari grinned as she swung her arm around her sister's shoulders, "You need to have faith in your Big sister ok. We can do this ok."

Leona who was watching the who scenario, felt a bit of annoyance seeing the two sisters interaction. In a brief moment, an image of an older man with lion ears and tails popped up in leona's mind.

"Leona!"

Leona scowled as he brushed away that image immediately. He then drawled out, "So what… are we just going to stand here all day or are we gonna have our little match?"

"Yeah we're coming." Himari snapped back. "Come one guys."

All of the boys of Heartslabyul nodded and along with the Akari sisters, they followed the Savanaclaw residence towards the Magift Stadium.

NORMAL POV

SAVANACLAW DORM : MAGIFT STADIUM

"Whoa! So this is where the matches will take place!" Himari breathed out in wonder.

The stadium was set near the Savanaclaw dorm itself. A vast area that looked similar to that of a football stadium. Only each end of the goal post is shaped in a giant ring like structure with a smaller ring in the center.

"All right now, Tsuki chan and Hoshiko chan…." Cater said while guiding the 2 younger Akari sisters on the side. "both of you need to stand somewhere out of the way. Please watch the other team and help us figure out their plays ok."

Both Tsukiko and Hoshiko nodded and watched as Cater ran off to where Himari, Grim, Ace and Deuce were huddled.

Tsukiko whispered in a concerned tone, "Neesan… please be careful."

"I know you are really worried about Himanee, and it is understandable." Hoshiko said looking at the group, "But you know how she is… especially when it comes to us."

Tsukiko sighed out, "Yes that is true…"

Hoshiko then giggled and chirped out, "Although the main reason was because Leololo threatened you (*AN: yes that's what she is calling Leona.^v^), I think she is doing it because she is getting more interested to play Magift."

Once again Tsukiko sighed out and said, "Yes… I am sure you are right about that one as well." She then looked on at her older sister as the memories of the overblot incident with Riddle and how Himari almost got consumed by the darkness. "But still….."

After a quick strategy talk each team now faced each other.

"Heh… I'm about to tear you guys apart!" Grim huffed out.

Ruggie snickered out, "Keep that talk up while you still can! Shishishishi!"

"Be ready, Leona!" Himari said while glaring at the Lion, "I'm going to make sure you pay for threatening my sister like that!"

Leona just smirked lazily as he drawled out, "Fine by me… There's no fun in prey that doesn't bite back."

Himari then smirked and retorted, "Oh I will do more than just bite back, don't worry."

Leona's grin widened revealing his canine teeth, "Let's go herbivores. Do your worst!"

"COME ON GUYS! YOU CAN DO IT! DON'T GIVE UP!" Hoshiko cheered on.

It was already half time, and Himari's team were still way behind in the score. "Damn it all! So this is what a real Magift tournament is!" Himari cursed out in thought. For the first time ever, the golden haired sister felt helpless as she and her friends were being pummeled by Leona and his wild cronies.

"What's wrong, little herbivore?" Leona chuckled as he looked at Himari, "I thought you were gonna teach me a lesson? Or maybe it was all just empty talk eh?"

Tsukiko watched worriedly as she can see her older sister struggling to control her temper. "This is not right…" She whispered, "He knows that they have more experience than them and yet he is showing no mercy towards them."

"We were so close! We could have reached the goal if he hasn't swiped the disc." Deuce panted out. Him, Ace and Grim looked more beaten up than, Cater and Himari.

Ruggie once again snickered out, "Not the sharpest claws in the plains, huh? We've just been toying with out prey."

"Huh… OH CRAP!" Himari gasped out as she realized what Leona was about to do, but it was too late as Leona then shot the spinning disc all the way to their goal post.

Team Ramshackle and Heartslabyul gasped looking at their goal post back to Leona.

"DUDE! WHAT WAS THAT?! THAT LONG SHOT WAS INSANE!" Ace cried out in disbelief.

Leona smirked as he taunted out, "And now it's back to the game. I'm far from through with you… Heh heh heh…."

"Uh oh… it doesn't look good…" Hoshiko whispered.

Tsukiko nodded grimly as she looked on worried at the current state of her sister and her friends. The game has ended and although Himari and the others were giving their all, they all are too far behind to catch up with Savanaclaw's leading score.

"No way…" Ace panted out, "We hardly scored much!"

"There's not a single weak link in their defensive line!" Deuce muttered still in utter disbelief.

"…." Himari stayed silent as she just glared at the Dorm leader of Savanaclaw who was still smirking at them mockingly.

"Listen, Leona, sweetheart…" Cater said in a cool tone, "Everyone knows you're a Spelldrive legend. You know we can't compete against you!"

The opposing team are already chuckling at the pitiful state of both Ramshackle and Heartslabyul. Leona grinned and called out, "What's that now? You giving up already?" His team mates chuckled even more as Ruggie chuckled out, "Shyeheehee! Where'd all the swagger go?"

"How cruel!" Tsukiko gasped out looking even more horrified. "Its bad enough they defeated my sister and the boys… but to mock them like that!"

Leona then looked at Himari and continued, "On your feet Herbivores. We're having a rematch!"

Himari gritted her teeth and as tired as she was she looked ready for another round.

"Please! Stop already!" Tsukiko cried out.

"What's going on here?"

All turned to see Jack approaching them. He looked rather disgusted and disappointed.

"Huh?" Leona drawled out lazily, "We're just having a little fun with some trespassers."

"What's fun about tormenting amateur players?" Jack growled out.

"What's thiiis? Look at you, Jack!" Ruggie teased, "Heroically standing up for the downtrodden! How woefully admirable. Shyeheeheehee!"

Jack glared angrily at the laughing Hyena as he snapped back, "I'm just saying this is a disgusting spectacle and I don't wanna have to see it."

Leona frowned and said, "… Well thanks. Now you've ruined all our fun."

"Whoa, Jack! You DO realize who you're talking to, right?" One of the savanaclaw students approached Jack and grabbed him by the collar angrily.

Unshaken by the size of his senior, Jack jerked free from the students grip and looked up at him with a steely gaze saying, "If you're gonna play the upperclassman card, you outa act the part."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Another student growled in anger as he also approached Jack, "YOU WANT A PIECE OF THIS TOO?!"

Unfazed, the White wolf boy stood his ground as he prepared himself for any type of fight that might occur. Leona scoffed saying "Pretty bold, frosh. I guess I can respect that." He then turned to look at Himari and her teammates again as he drawled out, "All right, I'm bored now. Running up the score against you chumps ain't accomplishing a thing. Let's go Ruggie."

"Right!" Ruggie replied in a sing song voice. As they were about to leave, Himari called out "Hey…."

They turned to look at the golden-haired sister. To their surprise, her calm and determined look was not something they expected. Himari then said, "I hate to admit it… you guys may be good and you did beat us fair and square. But don't think this is the end. We will have our rematch and I promise you this…" She pointed her fist at the surprised Leona as she grinned back, "I AM GOING TO PAY YOU BACK WITH EXTREME VENGEANCE!"

For a moment Leona was silent before he gave a roar of laughter as he glared back at Himari, "Oh yeah… well then I will look forward to that day! See you later little Herbivore!" With that he and Ruggie left.

Soon the other residents of Savanaclaw also left not without shouting, "You lot better think twice about invading our territory again!"

Tsukiko and Hoshiko then rushed to their sister and friends. Tsukiko asking, "Is everyone okay?"

Cater chuckled looking really embarrassed as he said, "Heh… well I can't say that was my finest moment on the field."

Tsukiko sighed out as she grimly said, "Yes… but it still wasn't right for them to do that to you." She then looked at Jack and said, "Um… your name is Jack correct? Thank you very much. You really helped us back there."

Jack tsked and said "Save it… I ain't in the business of charity work."

Hoshiko said in a sing song voice, "But still… you stood up for us like a knight.. it is soo cool!"

Jack looked away while scratching the back of his head… he felt awkward at being complimented by the sisters.

"Ugh… I'm drenched in mud over here!" Ace grumbled out…"Let's call it a day and go home."

"Yeah, I am getting pretty hungry." Grim whimpered as he jumped in Hoshiko's arms.

Cater nodded as he gave a wave to Jack saying. "All right, Jack. We're taking off. Don't get in any accidents you hear?"

Jack scoffed out in annoyance as he said, "You've got a whole lotta nerve to be worrying about me. Now scram already!"

Himari just sighed before looking at Jack. She smiled as she said, "Yeah we can see that… but really… thanks a lot."

With that they left leaving Jack along silent watching them seriously.

Hello everyone. I am back… I sincerely apologize for such a long delay… but I want to thank everyone for their patience and continuing support for this story. Work has been really hectic… and in all honesty I needed to rest for a bit as I was feeling a bit burnt out… but I am now back and full of energy… but I am still swamped at work and with new comic projects… so pls be patient with me with updating the next chapter. I am excited as the next one is where my favorite Diasomnia student will finally be making his appearance.
