RAMSHACKLE DORM : HIMARI'S ROOM
Himari gazed silently in the ceiling. Once She and her companions left Savanaclaw dorm, they decided to call it a night and both parties left for their respective dorms. It was already midnight, however the oldest Akari sister was having trouble sleeping. All her life she never thought much about sports, given she never once participated in any activities… part of the reason for this was her reputation as "THE GOLDEN BEAST" as well as getting involved in juvenile brawls with delinquints. But ever since her loss at the Magift game with Savanaclaw, something inside her sparked. For the first time in her life… she wanted to train harder… to become better…. It was the first time she wanted to become strong for her own sake…
"Geez… what is wrong with me…" Himari muttered sitting upright and scratching her hair in frustration.
"Snnoore…. Mmmm… Didja see that… Snoore… totally wrecked 'em with my power shot… Snoore…"
Himari looked to her side and couldn't help but give a small laugh. Grim decided to sleep in her room tonight and now the little furball was sprawled on the bed smiling and mumbling in his sleep.
"Geez… even in his sleep he is such a little chatterbox…" Himari said as she gently stroked Grims belly. The little monster seems to enjoy it as he gave a small little giggle all the while still in dreamland.
"Sigh… I really can't sleep… better go out for a walk…" Himari breathed out, she carefully got out of bed and headed outside.

NORMAL POV
RAMSHACKLE DORM
Walking down the path that connects to the forest… Himari taking a casual walk was deep in thought. "It's been how many days now since we got here…. I wonder when we will be able to go home." She then stopped and frowned as she continued in her thoughts, "but then… what is there waiting for us back home?" Memories of the abuse and neglect she and her sisters experienced while living with their relative's place… moving from one horrible foster home to another. Dealing with Bullies and Assholes in their school… is it really a place she wants them to return to? She then sighed out as she whispered sadly, "But… we don't really belong here, also… even though this place is really amazing…" Himari then looked down in surprise as she noticed her Sundrop giving a small and gentle glow. She couldn't help but smile and clasped on the jeweled piece.
Just then a sound of loud rustling is heard, Himari quickly turned to see a figure behind the bushes.
"Hm… Who might you be?"
"I SHOULD BE ASKING YOU THAT!" Himari cried out her fists up ready to fight.
The figure soon stepped forward into the light and Himari couldn't help but give out a small gasp in awe. Standing in front of her was a tall young man with pale skin, cool long black hair mostly cut mid-length. He has bright green eyes with vertical-slit pupils and long eyelashes. As Himari continued to gaze at the stranger, her eyes widened upon seeing his long black horns on the top of his head as well as his pointed elf-like ears.
The man's eyes widened as he looked at Himari in surprise. "Well now this is a surprise…" His voice sounded deep and velvety, "You are a child of man."
"Huh?! What's he talking about?!" Himari said looking rather confused at what he said. Taking a better look at the man, she could see that he was wearing the school's uniform. But the color of his armband… "Which dorm has a green armband again?" Himari thought trying to remember what Cater and Trey said about the dorms. Her thoughts were then interrupted when the Man asked, "Do you live here? This building has been abandoned for a long while."
For some reason, Himari soon put down her guard as she looked at Man in a cool gaze saying, "Well… yeah… me and my siblings are staying here for the time being."
The man, who did not look pleased with Himari's answer, gave a small sigh and said, "such a pity… I'd been quite fond of it as a place I could be quietly left alone."
Himari looked at him for a bit before she crossed her arms and asked, "Oookay….Sooo… who are you?"
The young man looked surprised at Himari's words, "Who am I…. you don't know who I am? Truly?"
Himari's frowned and felt slightly annoyed as she replied, "Uuuh no… should I?"
The man looked at her in silence before he gave an amused smile as he said, "Hmm… is that so? That is extremely rare." He then came a bit closer to the golden-haired girl as he asked, "What should I call you then, my lady?" Himari blinked and felt a bit weirded out… she didn't know why but her heart was beating a bit faster that usual. She then shook it off and stared back at him in a determined gaze, "I'm Himari Akari… Dorm Leader for Ramshackle."
The man contemplated on the name as he said, "Himari Akari… what an interesting name…."
Himari then crossed her arms again as she said, "You know… it's actually common courtesy to tell me Your name since I told you mine."
The young man's emerald green eyes locked on to Himari's sunny orange ones as he said, "My name…. hmmm…Actually no I am not going to tell you." He then smiled mysteriously as he continued, "Not knowing is for your own benefit."
"HUH?!" Himari cried out… whatever weird feeling she had just a moment ago soon vanished now replaced with an urge to give this guy a taste of her MEGACHOPS.
Sensing her annoyance, the Man smiled coolly and said, "The moment you hear it you'll feel a frost spread over your skin." He then took another step closer to Himari as he gazed at her saying, "For your ignorance, as an exception, I'll allow you to call me whatever you like." His voice then lowered a bit as he added "Though… you may come to regret that someday…."
Himari silently stared at the man not knowing what to say… The young man then took two steps back as he looked again at Ramshackle dorm and sighed out, "Hmph… nevertheless… if there are people living here it means this abandoned building is no longer abandoned. That's too bad."
"I'll have to find another abandoned place for my nightly strolls." He turned to Himari one more time as he gave a graceful bow saying, "Well then… I bid you, Adieu." With a flash he was gone.
Himari just stared at the spot where the man was before she regained her senses and cried out, "WHAT THE WHATNOW?! WHO WAS THAT GUY, AN ABANDONED BUILDING MANIAC?! JUST MY LUCK TO MEET ANOTHER WEIRDO IN THIS SCHOOL?! GEEZ!" She then took a deep breath and gave a long exhale to calm herself. "Okay… no use getting so worked up about him…. Ugh… I'm going back to bed!" With that Himari started to head back inside… unbeknownst to her that her Sundrop glowed even brighter all the while during her Midnight encounter.

NORMAL POV
SAVANACLAW DORM: LEONA'S ROOM
"Leona, Good evening. I bought your dinner. And I took care of another job."
Leona cracked one eye open to see Ruggie entering and placing his food on the table. The young lion gave a great yawn before he got off his bed and towards the table. "Ahh… aren't you an efficient one, Ruggie." He said as he plucked off a piece of grape and ate it.
Ruggie chuckled saying, "Well naturally. If it's for you Leona, it's easy."
"Ha, don't flatter me," Leona scoffed out, "You're doing this for yourself."
Ruggie looking a bit offended then seriously said, "Oh no Leona. This is for us, y'know. Everyone wants to turn this world on its head. The hyenas in the legend of the King of Beasts followed him but they wanted to improve their lot in life. I'm just doing the same."
Leona crossed his arms as he coolly stared at the Hyena boy as he said, "Hmph. Then be discreet while you "hunt". Don't leave evidence."
"Shishishishi!" Ruggie snickered, "Of course. Its hyena policy to never leave a scrap of their prey behind. By the way, Leona. For the next prey, which dorm and who should we target?"
"Let me think." Leona said, "How about a wolf that likes to sneak around eavesdropping on others?"
"Huh?!"exclaimed a confused Ruggie.
Leona then called out, "I know you're there, fresh baby. You might want to find a new hobby with those giant ears of yours."
Both him and Ruggie looked on as the door slowly opened and in came none other than Jack Howl.
The young wolf silently stared at his Dorm leader and Vice Dorm leader. A grim expression seen on his face.
"What do you want this late?" Leona asked, "Are you homesick and need a lullaby?"
"I'll sing one for you. Shishishishi!" Ruggie teased.
Jack remained his calm composure and asked, "Tell me the reason. Why are you guys doing something like this?"
Leona sat by the edge of his table while still looking at Jack in the same cool composure, "I see. You're looking for a bedtime story. Alright, I'll tell you one." He closed his eyes as he continued, "For two years in a row we played against Malleus and Diasomnia Dorm in the first match of the tournament. The result, we were crushed. A participation trophy… Savanaclaw has taken down opponent after opponent but even we were like newborn kittens who hadn't even opened their eyes. That unsightly state was broadcast to the world. Do you know what happened in the end? The dorm leader was branded as incompetent and scouts from pro leagues and sponsors dried up."
"That's because… you just weren't good enough…" Jack replied.
"That's precisely it." Leona said. "Until last year we literally weren't committed to personal affairs. Having an honest match with that monster-like opponent without coming up with something in advance was stupid. We knew we'd loose but we still didn't come up with a plan. To hear that about Savanaclaw, the dorm that is founded on the persistence of the King of Beasts, it must have been a shock."
"THAT DOESN'T MAKE THE COWARDLY WAY YOU'RE ATTACKING PEOPLE ANY LESS WRONG!" Jack cried out angrily.
"It's wrong?" Leona scoffed, "Jack… you know I'm only thinking about what's best for all the members of Savanaclaw? If we shoot down Malleus, we'll get revenge of all of that and the value of Savanaclaw will be restored. It's already been decided that if we don't win this year Malleus will be entered into the hall of fame." He then turned to Jack with a steely cold gaze as he added, "This is our last chance. But you want to give it up for your sense of justice? Do you want to destroy your upperclassmen's futures?"
"T-That's…." Jack muttered… unsure what to say in the situation.
Leona continued, "Using your head when chasing prey is the basics of hunting. There's nothing cowardly about it."
Ruggie then snickered saying, "Shishishishi! In this school, it's survival of the fittest. Goodie two shoes can't survive here."
"Dorm Head!" Jack protested, "If you gave it your all you would have no problems against Diasomnia!" He looked down and gritted his teeth as he said in a soft and pained voice, "I still remember your play from three years ago. I…."
"DON'T TALK LIKE YOU KNOW EVERYTHING!" Leona snapped angrily, "Give it my all? Utterly foolish. Even if I did, nothing would change." His green eyes narrowed dangerously at the white-haired wolf as he said, "Leave….. if you want to see the morning sun."
Jack looked at Leona in silence, before he silent shook his head and walked out.
Ruggie frowned and said in a concerned tone, "That guy's a liability. Should I get rid of him?"
"Just wait." Leona said as he walked to his bed. "Even if he goes and tells Crowley, he has no evidence. That and we need him to crush Malleus. Keep a close eye on him for now." He then lay down again on his bed ready to take a nap.
"Riigght…" Ruggie agreed before he left as well.
Leona tsk and stared at the ceiling feeling more pissed of as it is. "Damn fresh-baby… Sounds just like my brother." In a brief moment, the image of the Himari and Tsukiko popped into his mind as he growled even more in annoyance, "Those two as well…damn it all!"

From another place… deep within the darkness of the cave. A shadowy figure is conjuring up a dark crystal that is taking the shape of a Black lion. Droplets of Ink is soon echoing withing the caverns…

YES! I FINALLY REACHED THIS CHAPTER…. I hope that everyone is enjoying the progess of the stories…. I am happy to finally have Himari meet up with Malleus… sorry I really am a Malleus fan… but like I mentioned before… you are free to root for your favorite shippings between my OC's and any of the boys of NRC. The next chapters will take time as I will be planning to add original chapters within this arc. Hope you all will enjoy it. Wish me luck as well as Summer is coming up and that is my busiest time for me at work. I will do my best to manage my time so I will be able to write the next chapters faster.
