Another time, in the far future

" Nngh... " Hestia groaned while biting down on her fingernail anxiously.

" Kami-sama...I assure you, all will be well. We had prepared most thoroughly for the occasion, after all. " Bell said gently to his lady, trying to ease the worry in her heart even a little.

" That is right, my lady. " Another voice chimed in from her side.

The owner of said voice is Yura, the former ringed knight having replaced her hood for a red-colored one for the special event that is being held tonight at their restaurant, Hearth Spices.

The knight then continued

" Mine lord, Lady Alfia, myself, as well as the others had put in extensive efforts in order to ensure that all will be running smoothly during the feast...so please, cease your worries, Lady Hestia. " She said in her usual blunt tone when talking to anyone other than Bell.

...However, beneath her monotonous, she showed a great concern towards the anxious goddess.

After all, unlike the previous events that had been held at their restaurant, the scale of this one is much grander in comparison, which involved the almost the entire city of Orario.

Yura herself is worried that her lady might collapse due to all the sleepless nights she spent in preparing for the event called...Christmas.

It was only after Bell and Lili had forced her to go to bed did she finally complied and took a rest.

" ...Do you guys think...that they will enjoy it...? " Hestia said towards the two.

" Thine- " Yura began, however shortly after was cut off by Bell.

" ...Kami-sama. We had done our part in the preparations for this year's feast...however, there is no denying that it was due to your planning that we are able to achieve all of this within time. "

" ... "

" ...My point being...as long as you had given us your blessing to host this great feast, I believe that they will indeed, enjoy it. "

" ...Bell-kun...Thank you. That is all I needed to hear. " Hestia said while wiping a tear that spilled on her cheek.

Suddenly, the front door of their restaurant is opened with a great force. Thankfully, the specialized iron hinges made by Welf held sturdy even against such great force.

The one who had opened the door with such strength was none other than Keaks, his hulking figure looking more comical than anything as he crouched down in order to enter through the doorway.

" Boss! It's urgent! " He called out to Bell, his mighty voice reverberating throughout the entire restaurant.

" What is it? Did something happen, perchance? " Bell said sharply.

" Kinda...It's nothing serious but...the line's outside getting too long! Elilly's had her hands full trying to herd 'em up! "

" What of Pock and Pot? " Bell said.

" I asked them to go to the orphanage to pick up the kids and Miss Maria as you asked. "

" Good. Then, what of Jose? " He asked about the bard of their familia, since the former had volunteered to perform for the occasion.

" That...well, he said he had to go pick up "something"...I don't know how long he'll be gone for...But regardless, if we don't open soon, then the crowd will be too much for us to handle! "

" ... "

" Bell-kun...what should we do...? "

Author notes : Merry Christmas! I hope y'all enjoyed the first part of DanSouls Christmas side story. Now, what is this you ask? It's just a little something that I thought I'd leave here...before my finals. And since Christmas is coming, i thought this would be appropriate. So, yeah. Merry Christmas to all those celebrating!

I read y'all comments and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and positive words. It may not be much, but consider this side story as my gift to you guys for this Christmas ;)

Now, when exactly did this side story happen, you ask? Well...somewhere in the far, far future. So you guys don't have to worry about that. I'll also leave the canonicity vague for continuity purposes(Cuz im way too lazy to think of a proper sequel which is an entire series before this happened. )

Also, for those of you guys who noticed, some of the characters that are mentioned here are actually the ones from Hermes familia...yknow, the ones from sword oratoria.

And lastly, this one is for the readers of my kamen rider and honkai fic. I'll also be releasing a Christmas chapter soon for that fic as well. Take this as an apology for going off the radar for nearly two months.
