Since future updates on Cassandron are going to take a while, I decided to go forward with this rather than sit on it until the end of the arc

True Ancestors, Blood Dragons and Blood Barons
USA players, rejoice! Fresh from Cassandron, the hidden stalkers have arrived to bolster your forces!

The True Ancestor is an ancient being sworn to the cause of the Liberation. One of the most customisable HQ to date, the True Ancestor must purchase a Generation, and can then purchase a number of Bloodline Disciplines corresponding to their Generation. A cheap high Generation* melee blender with the raw stats from Potence and Celerity, or a truly ancient one who dominates the Psyker phase with Blood Sorcery**, Oblivion, Dominate and Obfuscate? You choose!

Accompanying her (or just by themselves) are the Blood Dragons. This squad of vampires may only be able to pick one Discipline (and only the fighty ones), but they're still power armoured, power weapon wielding elites. Additionally, they become more ferocious when hunting Worthy Foes and can even give them the Blood Kiss for additional VP!

Both True Ancestors and Blood Dragons can be mounted on their signature Red Twelve Jetbikes. They lose their potent Camera Invisibility*** rule, but the raw speed and natural deflection of a jet bike makes up for it. Skewer enemy vehicles and monsters with their signature Power Lance! Unlike regular calvary, they are trained to dismount in combat, so if you have both set of miniatures you can swap as the situation demands.

Last but not least, the Blood Baron upgrade sprue contains all you need to upgrade your Cainwings to the Mark V. In addition to the speed increase, the Blood Barons have access to the Worthy Foes rules and alternative advantages from the single Discipline they may select. Our favourite is the Fortitude Discipline, which lets a crashed Cainwing land a single Blood Dragon within scatter of the crash site.

True Ancestors, Blood Dragons, Red Twelve Jetbikes and Blood Baron upgrades will be in all Workshop stores end of the month.

*Higher Generations are weaker... and cheaper
**Particularly good for a Warlord, as that's where the main benefit of her Warlord Trait sits
***While on foot, Infantry and Monsters get -1 to hit for every 6" over 12", every 6" instead for anything mechanical. We've bugged The Workshop to do a feature on how they arrived at that next month!
