Thought for the Day:
Blessed is the mind too small for doubt.

While much focus placed upon the Cainite Protectorate is upon it's large and varied military force (see reports C-0303-∑, C-1000-β and C-0001-µ among others) and the Government (see reports C-0001-α and C-0020-η among others), merely focusing on the heretics' military forces and central administration (among various system governments) gives an inaccurate image of the heretics as a whole.^1 Thus this report, compiled by contacting individuals from the fringes of protectorate space, focuses on the various civilian holos and other video based entertainment. These analyzed pieces of media are available for further review (see attached files) in case deemed necessary.^2

The most notable of the various holos produce by the heretics is the Liberator's Exploits Series, which describes the various major incursions to and of the Cainite Protectorate. The first of them is the so-called original trilogy. While holos describing the happenings from later in the protectorate exists, including the annexation of Torredon in Blood and Pirates among others, I have concluded that the only accurate information contained there, is that the Cainite forces did have a space battle in the Adumbria System against one Jeremiah Smiles. The result of the battle as described in the holo is impossible. Regardless Faith and Duty is the first of the original three holos. It's description of the battle between Inquisitor Fyodor Karamazov and the Black Commissars minions matches approximately what little information the astropaths managed to send before the destruction of the Pyroclast Retribution.^3 It's sequal, Against Alien Foes describes two separate yet suspiciously timed invasions by the orcs and drukhari. It is well known that the Black Commissar has a drukhari bloodward, and according to the holo, it is the result of this invasion. The third holo is Cleansing of Skitterfall. It is a description of how the Cainite forces managed to be rid of the Nurgelite contagion from the world of Adumbria, saving the remaining civilians, guard forces and a single chaos space marine of the 12th Legion. While what the film states about what happened to the guard forces and civilians is possible^4, it is well known fact that the chaos marine of the World Eater's fights alongside the protectorate forces.

Other notable holos by the protectorate exists, including For All Mankind which follows the story of an Imperial Army regiment during the Great Crusade becoming corrupted by chaos, and By Blood Alone the sequel to For All Mankind, where the now rebellious regiment fights alongside the World Eaters during the heresy. These are clearly fiction, though they certainly tell a story that is rather accurate.^5 There exist a veritable sea of shorter holos, describing everything from cooking to boxing matches, including some, where followers of the imperial creed participate.

The longer holos are almost all made by the Slaneesh cult of theirs, though specifically a subsection called Warnerius Sisters & Co. It is unclear whether these Warnerius sisters exist, but the organization has multiple crews writing, filming, and editing the various holos made by them. The shorter holos are made by dozens of different groups, though most with the aid of the Sisters.

In short, the Cainite Heretics make high quality propaganda films, that are as accurate as can be expected, and relatively entertaining^6, and were they not written by heretics, would likely be a popular in the Imperium at large.

1. Despite the initial intensions of [REDACTED], reading further, it becomes clear, that he has become under the influence of the dark gods. This was an attempt at sabotaging the Inquisition form within.
2. All known copies of the holos have been destroyed, as they likely contain metaphysical corruption that will make the watcher a servant of the dark gods.
3. While the analysis seems accurate, [REDACTED] clearly has a bias towards the Cainite dominion, further re-enforcing the likelihood of heresy.
4. Certainly lies, as the servants of Chaos likely sacrificed the civilians and most of the guard, while a small portion has been allowed to live after embracing the dark gods.
5. Likely a coincidence, as there is no way they could have gained such restricted information. The World Eater can be considered a non-source, as their kind cannot remember details in their constant rage.
6. Once again, a sign of heresy, as no true servant of the Throne would consider anything made by heretics entertaining.
