Nos-4-a2 did not know how far he could hide long from the tyrant that had made peace in a way no one could reject the new ruler. Opposing the tyrant was a definite no when he controlled the internet and all galactic defense. He neither sided with the tyrant, nor did he oppose him but the only time he opposed the tyrant was when he found out a new discovery and a hard reality check.
"Waaaaaah!"
Nos looked at the baby that was awake and went to see the small child who woke up again as his counterpart, his sister, was asleep. He picks up the baby and sees the baby, revealing the baby to be a robot. "There there, little one." Nos hums away and keeps him in his arms. This was his discovery and this was the harsh reality that the children can be used against the tyrant or himself. He wondered if the tyrant knew this about him? Why and how could he? Was it out of love or was it out of possession? To keep him by his side? He did not get to ask when he disappeared before he knew or even found out. But ever since he ran away, the tyrant has put wanted posters on him.

He has slipped away from the tyrant and many bounty hunters failed to catch him. Of course he was able to hide thanks to his allies and friends. Gravitina and Warp and Miss Mira helped him disappear after finding out the truth. He was able to live peacefully and away from the problems and the troubles that the tyrant made and the safest planet was Montresa. He holds the baby up and sees the baby's cp-22 series bright. Their father was none other than the tyrant searching for them.

He smiles and gushes at the baby who only whimpers now. "Now who is an amazing little boy? You are my little one~" he kisses his head and nuzzles him. Whatever the answer, he is thankful for the gift of having his children. They are the reason for him to keep living and to have a purpose. He smiles and nuzzles to his son as he lies the baby down. He watches them asleep as he thinks of the past.
The past.
Nos-4-a2 was curled in his cell, within the dungeon of the tower. He was forced to wear a collar to keep him from self harm as he was resisting his abusers' command to harm an innocent robot. He could not and will not and when he pierced his arm, he was shocked.
"Nos-4-a2, you failed to kill a robot. Again."

Nos shook at the sight of the destroyed robot and looked to Zurg.

Nos was deeply engraved with painful agony and guilt that was pushing him into despair. Wishing for death to end it. "... I j-j-j-just want to end this…. P-p-p-p-please just destroy me…."
Zurg only smirks down at the pathetic robot. Normally He would destroy the weak but he finds this pathetic robot fun to torture. This so-called powerful weapon that could destroy him, was broken and begging to be destroyed. He was hoping for this poor excuse to destroy Star Command's hero and wondered how to get rid of him. "Now Nos, you have one chance today to end Lightyear. Do this, and I will end your miserable life for you."
Nos dare not look at him and curls to himself.
"Pathetic. Guess I will make it painful as I dismantle and put you back again." He hears him leave but shook at the memory of being taken apart.
"What in the nova are you-"

Nos was startled and sees the sight of blood across the floor.
"Wow, when I thought killing him the 2nd time was gonna be fun, it bring me some giddy feeling. Yet it's not really thrilling like before."
Nos-4-a2 perked and looked up to see a robot wearing red chrome Paint with purple outline and gold shoulder pads. He shook at the sight of Zurgs's decapitated and crushed head in his clawed hand.
"I'm XR. I am- well, I was a space ranger from a different Dimension. In my defense, I hate him a lot for a lot of reasons. But luckily I got rid of him before he could do something serious. You're Nos-4-a2, an energy vampire right?"
Nos hesitated but stood up. His new legs were still new so he had a hard time standing. "I- I am…." He never met any robot so violent before, and seems unfazed by the fact of who he killed. He noticed the robot waited and then hummed.
"So in this universe, you never met Buzz Lightyear right?" The said killer robot asked.
Nos shook his head. "I f-f-failed to m-m-m-murder on the 1st trials and have a sp-sp-sp-speech problem…. C-ca-can you d-d-d-destroy me?" He asked. "I am n-n-n-not good en-en-enough t-t-to l-l-l-live. I am br-br-broken."
"Having a tough speech impediment there. He really hurt you that bad…..." XR hums tossing the head away. "Well I'm not gonna destroy you, that defeats the purpose of why I'm here. I want you to work with me."
Nos hesitated.
"Hear me out; you want to die right?" XR asked. "I need help changing my appearance cuz let's face it, I'm not good at looking serious. Would you take me seriously?"
Nos hesitated and shook his head. He waited for a hit but instead felt a hand on his shoulder.
"See? I had been looking for specific help on that and you're just the right person I need! You see, I made a special portal that opens to many dimensions. And I need your skills to help-"
"I c-c-cannot…. I…. I…."
"Never experienced on the job, right?" XR asked. "Back to what I said. If you fail the job, I will destroy you as painlessly as possible. But if you succeed, then you don't die but live! You can be my confidante, my right hand pal. Either way it's a win for you right?"
Nos was filled with hesitation, never left his cell, much less ever stepped out of line. "... P-p-p-promise?"
"I promise and if you want, I can help with that speech impediment when we get home to my dimension." XR opens the cell and holds his hand out to him.
Nos hesitated but he took the hand and was pulled forward. He had trouble moving but XR was so gentle with him. He looked so happy and yet it seems he feels it was not much to care.
"Now to get rid of that disgusting collar. Might hurt a bit but think you can manage it?" XR ask.
Nos only nods to him but sees XR frowns. "Yes or no? Answer."
"Y-y-y-yes." Nos answered but flinched when XR moved his hand.
"First thing I will say, I will not hurt you, got it? But if I ever do," he takes his hand and places it over his face when his dome opens. "You have my utmost permission to hit me, and I won't fight back." He keeps Nos hand against his face. "So be honest with me from here on out."
"Y-yes." Nos did not try to pull his hand back and can see XR was grinning.
"Now ready to get this collar off?" XR ask.
"Y-yes." Nos said with his optics glowed.
XR grips on it and there was a hard shock on them both but it disappeared in seconds when Nos feels the collar off. Never had he felt relief or a sense of freedom and looked at the ki- his savior shook the shocks away.
"Sheesh! He was really sadistic to you! That could kill anyone in a second!"
"Th-thank you." Nos felt relief and looked to XR and bows. "M-m-m-"
"As much as I like to be called that, I don't want to hear it from you. Not till you do the job ok?" XR spoke and Nos nodded. "Now then first let's get out of the dungeon and back on top and leave this dimension! Lightyear and his team will be shocked to find their major villain out."
Nos walks but just a few steps he falters and falls. He waited for the impact but instead fell into his savior's arms.
"You didn't eat any energy before?" XR asked. "That's your programming and your nature! How do you expect to live!?
Nos looks down in shame. "I-I f-f-feel b-b-b-bad."
"Easy there, the more you get anxious the more you stutter. Well you can't go out there weak and if people think you're weak, that can be a problem…. Got a Coffin?"
Nos perked and XR took him to the lab. All the energy robot could do was follow this robot and trust him. He was the only one who showed him such care and kindness. And as soon as he serves his purpose, He can end peacefully with the feeling of completion.
The present
Nos woke up and had not thought of the past since he lived in this new dimension. That had been 3 years serving and working with XR in his growing empire. The first year was Nos studying the many types of metals and was given a program up to date about everything and anything he requested. It took over 5 months to perfect the program he made and used himself as a guinea pig to test it. Of course it was a painful process and a longer time to heal. XR was the most angry about his self experimentations. He reminded XR that only two robots with the existing cores were the only ones that could be tested. If it went horrible, everyone would try to destroy him at his worst. It was the only logical way.
He wondered then whether XR was worrying for him or for the project. He then remembered the success and later made another special shifting to help XR to change any forms. That however meant his service was no longer needed.
2 years ago.
"Come again?" XR asked.
"I have served my purpose to make you the perfect shifting form to not only be just one, but many." Nos bows, XR using his own core to help fix his speech and gives him all he needs to help him. "However, I withhold the information that can ruin you-"
"You know Mira and Booster and XL knows the truth. Gravitina and Warp know it so that means I have six, including you, that know the truth. You want to leave my side to some galaxy you don't know?"
"I am requesting to be offline." Nos spoke. "I do not feel any sense of belonging. I am just a speck in your world-"
"Leaving would be fine because I could change your mind. But destroying you, that's a huge no." XR stated and Nos was shocked. "I gave you everything you could want! I can offer you so much more-!"
"I DO NOT WANT TO LIVE! I NEVER WANT TO LIVE!" Nos shouted and all the power went out. In a few seconds they went back on and Nos was still standing. "You have no idea how painful it was to live with suffering. To beg for death and wanting to live but living with these marks, even when they faded or removed, the mental scars never faded." He cried and felt his core ache.
XR stood up, in his organic form. He walks over to Nos and holds him tightly. "I may not have been tormented but I know what it feels like to be put down under someone. I was a small robot made to mimic the now dead Space ranger Lightyear. I was content before but I hated him because my pops had given him all the fatherly love I wanted. Everytime I tried to do something good, he would take in and swipe the credit and when I failed the examination, I was almost put offline. I thought it would be better than living under the shadow of the oh so hero Lightyear! The galaxy hero who everyone loved and respected! But I was kept online out of pity. Maybe Lightyear saw me as a friend, or some kicked poolini puppy but internally, I felt utter shame."
XR let's go and Nos looked at him in shock. "Why keep going?"
XR sighed and took his hand to walk into the personal garden Nos did not know about. They walked in and sat on a bench. "I wanted to show everyone I was just as good and I hoped to impress pops. One day I had to save the system of the galaxy so I literally took over the online internet access to everything and anything. I even hacked into Zurg's system and found something unbelievable."
"The portal." Nos spoke.
"Yep and I saw a lot of things. But I saw many universes with Buzz and Zurg either ruining lives, or destroying their goals either good or bad. I knew this Lightyear was no different than the evil Buzz and the Zurg in my universe was just near the deep end to destroy everything. So I made the inevitable choice."
"End both pieces." Nos answered.
"Yep. I then saw other alternate universes. Some good, some sad and some were…. Great." He answered with an unreadable expression.
"Was there a Nos-4-a2 in this universe? Am I…. A replacement for him?" Nos was wondering why he chose him when there were other scientists far greater and experienced.
"You can't replace someone you never existed. The Nos in this universe was thought of…. but Zurg scrapped him after this DRAC was displeased by the features. I'm not gonna lie to you, I wanted to find a Nos-4-a2 for me. One that wasn't with an XR or with someone. At least I was being nice and not stealing them."
"Pretty sure there were better ones." Nos spoke.
"I saw your potential even though you're not so open to hurting someone. I needed someone who would keep me level headed. And you're perfect."
"A babysitter who is also your conscience." Nos glares at him.
"I need a real friend who isn't scared if I might destroy a planet. You have gone toe to toe with me and even when I was so angry, you didn't care. I think most of the time you thought I destroyed you right then and there."
"You treated me like a person." Nos spoke mulling over his choices. "What happens now?"
"First things first, I need a drink. You need batteries." He stood up and Nos did but stopped. "Want something else that doesn't involve dying?"
"I want to say I am sorry for what you went through. No one should be pushed down or belittled like that. You have as much right as anyone." Nos spoke.
XR perked and waved it off. "Well I'm amazing already now-"
"You are amazing then too." Nos spoke. "I would not be here-"
"OK before we leave, you gotta stop that too. I mean I don't but you know you've been better than what that stain of the galaxy says." XR turns around and leads. "And since you swore to me, I forbid you to die."
Nos perked and simply smiles. "Of course…. Master." XR halted but kept walking as Nos did not think much of it.
Present.
Nos shifted his form and felt a bit better in it as he went out to get some rest first as it was late. He lies back in his coffin, the same one XR made for him. He closes his eyes and falls asleep….
Nos woke up in a bed and sees the light coming in and sits up.
"Don't get up yet." XR mumbles.
"I need to check on the babies." Nos was about to get off when his husband pulled him back. He rolls his servos and holds his mate. He chuckles and feels XR kiss his neck.
"They are mine….?" XR mumbles.
"Of course they are." he purrs, nuzzling him, hearing XR sounded half asleep. He dreamt before they were organisms living on the outskirts of a thriving planet. He chuckles. "You were so surprised when they came."
XR pauses but grins. "Of course I was, still amazed we made them together." XR cups his face and leans for a kiss but Nos pins him down. "Being so dominant now~"
Nos leans down but kisses his head and jumps out of bed and makes his husband chase after him. He would have succeeded had XR not tackled him. "Charming, but I caught you." XR grins and Nos snickers, he watches tired eyes before leaning in and kisses him. He feels XR moans into the kiss and pulls him closer. He wraps his arms but feels different.

Nos pulls back and look around.
"Everything ok there beautiful?" XR asked, kissing his neck.
"I thought I heard something- mmoomph!?" Nos feels XR kisses him. He was dazed until he pulls him for a kiss and lies down.
XR kisses him once again and kisses his way down.
"Tell me you want me…." He said between kisses down on his chest.

"I…. I…. I want you… I need you…!" Nos arches and feels XR kissing back up and kisses his lips. He leans to his ear and grins.
"I'm coming for you soon…. my beautiful star~" XR groaned and was pinned by Nos. "I love it when you take control~!"
Nos eyes widened when he saw their chest opened and wires were connecting to each other. "H-how?!" Nos gasps and moans, feeling his body in some dazed.
"You and I," XR caresses his side and moves up to his face and arches to him. "You and I are bonded deeper than anyone will ever know and never will. And you have no idea how long I was looking for you everywhere." He pulls him down and kisses his cheek and nuzzles him. "I love you Nos, and I'm coming soon." XR kisses him one more time before hearing something.
[Location Found]
Nos gasps and sat up in shock. He feels normal and unscathed. He tried to think of the dreams but when he tried, it was fuzzy. "I cannot help but feel worried." He sat up and went to check on his children to see them resting. He smiles and picks them up and carries them out.
"Alright, time to go to the garden my little ones." He kisses them both on the head and using his connection to them, changes their forms to actual babies. He cooes away and carries them in his greenhouse. It was not as grand as the one back in XR's kingdom but he did not mind the size. He brings them in and prunes the flowers before sensing someone coming and recognizes the energy reading.
"XL." He sighed annoyed and both babies cooing and he knew where XL was, so was he. He takes the children inside to keep safe and froze to sense something off and holds the children protectively. He tenses when he feels arms wrap around him.
"Miss me gorgeous~?" XR grins.
Nos keeps cautious and feels XR smirks against his shoulder. "So this is where you've been hiding. Pretty nice planet. Who'd thought you'd hide literally under my radar. I just need to know why and who helped you."
"I hid because I needed to. I found out I was carrying twins." Nos growls, his instincts kicked in and placed his children on the counter carefully before his eyes glows.
"Well as much as I want to celebrate-!"
Bamm!
XR groans at the back headbutt and releases him. "Rings of Saturn that hurted!" He cracks his nose back but dogges another blow and doesn't fight back but was not going to back down. "Did I just switch your instincts babe?" He ducks when Nos throws a plate at him and then moves away when Nos swings his claws and gulps at the clean cut chair. He didn't plan right but he kinda was getting turned on by the little fight. He blocks the punches and switches spots and pins Nos down. "Sweetheart I'm for foreplay but the children are here~"
Nos growls and kicks him off before pinning him down. "You have any idea of this?! That I can reproduce?!"
XR blinks. "Is that what made you leave me?! You think I trapped you by reproduction and made you my baby daddy?! I should have thought of that- WAIT!" XR stops him when he hears a growl. "Look, I did know it was possible- BUT! But I didn't know you could with me being from different dimensions. Technically it shouldn't be possible." He holds Nos close. "Babe, had I known this, wouldn't I have planned better? Or tell you first?"
Nos stops and lowers his claws. "You wanted me yours no matter what! You keep trying to keep me in your room, you possessive, egocentric tyrant!"
"Your possessive egocentric tyrant and I acknowledge that." He crosses his arms. "And yeah I did but only because I feel scared to lose you. You have no idea how much it scares me to lose you! You're amazing, this great wonderful person who can stop me from killing a bunch of amateur rebels! I had to keep you safe and I didn't want anyone to take you from me!"
"I love you! I want only you!" Nos shouted and froze.
XR was wide eyed and blinked in his cp-22. "What did you say?"
Nos was quiet. "You heard me-"
"I need to hear it-"
"You better get off my lil brother or I'll do something to them!" XL holds a claw over them.
Nos growls but XR get out of the hold and stops his brother. "XL! Those are your niece and nephews! My kids!" He shouted and XL was confused. "It's a long story but XL they are mine and Nos's kids." XR takes the little ones away and holds him. "Go outside nowl!"
"But-!"
"Go!" XR stated and holds them carefully to him. He sees him go and keeps them on him but hisses when they bit him.
"They are imprinting you." Nos spoke calmly, he can tell they had sensed it and curled to him even more.
"Really? So they like me?" XR asks and smiles with hope and hugs them. Nos watches and sits on the broken chair but sees XR sitting with him and frowns. "You don't want to leave here."
Nos shook his head. "I love you. You cannot leave the empire."
"I can, you know, control the internet access across the galaxy and all doesn't need to be in the empire…. But do you want me to stay?" XR asked
"I cannot force you," Nos answers. "But I very much love it if you could."
"Then I'll stay." He smiles. "I can just work remotely. Are you ok with that?"
Nos nodded and kissed him sweetly. XR kissed back but tried to keep it pg. "So…. Can we redecorate the room?"
He nodded. "But we need to put the babies to rest." He leans against him. "I need batteries and you need a drink." Nos answers.
"You know me so well~" XR grins and kisses him.
In Nos's home dimension.
"We need to find Nos-4-a2." Buzz Lightyear stated as he and his team were tracking the energy vampire who holds the secrets to Zurgs's information and power.
"Buzz, are we really sure this is the right thing?" Warp walked over to him, he was the 2nd in command. "This is not something we need and you know it."
"Warp is right." Mira spoke. "Zurg is gone, we are making peace and if this energy robot ended him and hid those access codes, it's for a good reason." She was now chief of star command and defense.
"Mira, Warp, the fact it was murder is still murder. We can't let history tell us that murder solves everything."
"And the point is, Nos-4-a2 may not be it."
They look to the head of the tech division, Xavier Richard Nebula, walk up. "Look I was looking through the files and I don't think this Nos guy did it. I can feel it in my gut." XR added. "Plus I want to help him in any way I can."
Buzz was not accepting that but he only agreed because XR was to him his brother they were raised together by commander Nebula. "Alright but soon as we find him, we get answers."
XR nodded but looked at the last image of Nos-4-a2. It was Nos curled in a ball, hiding away and despite what anyone sees, he couldn't help but want to find the energy vampire and keep him safe. He knows from the other images, Nos was abused and hurt and even evil made, no one deserves that treatment. 'It's been only a week since his disappearance, but I hope I can find you, Nos-4-a2.' He thought as he turned away to leave. He just hopes he can save him from whoever killed Zurg.
