I'm Done ~~ Tory leaves Cobra Kai after she finds out the tournament was rigged.

Part One

Tory was smiling, walking back into the arena to grab her bag when she heard Silver talking to the ref.

"I almost thought you were gonna back out of our deal a few times. You know what? You played it just right. No one suspects a thing." Tory frowned. "Money will be in your account tomorrow morning. Thank you, Mr. Silver."

Tory looked down at the trophy and quickly walked past the office they were in to get her bag. Her heart felt heavy. She had finally won something but now it was tainted.

Tory woke up as her alarm sounded and she groaned. She did not want to go to school today and have to see everyone after ditching them for the after-party. There would be so many questions.

"Hey, where did you go after the All-Valley?" Kenny asked.

"Why did you miss the after-party?" Kyler asked.

"I wasn't feeling well, that's all." Tory tried to play it off as nothing. "Sorry, guys."

Later in the day, she made her way to the new Cobra Kai location and all attention was on her.

"Let's all give it up. Champ is in the house." Silver said as Tory entered the Dojo and everyone clapped. "She's allowed to be a little late. Today."

Tory didn't smile at all. She just went to the mat and got in position.

"When you gonna bring your trophy in?" Kenny asked from beside her.

"Not today," Tory said, and Kenny left it at that.

After the session for the day ended.

"I need to talk to you," Tory said from the juice bar to Silver.

"Nichols, what's on your mind? Excited to take things to the next level?" Silver asked.

"What's the point? You'll just pay to make me champion again." Tory said, not wanting to dance around the topic.

"So, you know about the ref." Silver paused. "Told anyone else?

"Not yet," Tory said. "So, you don't deny it?"

"Not at all. I paid him off to make sure Cobra Kai won. It was an insurance policy. You still won the fight." Silver told her.

"Did I?" Tory asked, knowing that it wasn't a fair fight with the ref already on their side.

"Of course you did. You're the champion. I know it. LaRusso knows it. The whole Valley knows it. If you don't believe it, you're the only person who doesn't." Silver told her.

"What am I supposed to do? Just go back to normal? Act like nothing happened?" Tory asked, angry.

"Listen. I'm not Sensei Kreese. I don't have the connection you two had. I never had to scrape and claw my whole life, like you. But what I do know is how to use every advantage to ensure victory."

"You mean cheating.''

"The tournament was a matter of Cobra Kai's survival. If a person steals food to survive, are they cheating? Or are they doing what must be done?" Silver paused, "I want you to be here. And I want you to be you. If you choose to leave, I won't hold it against you. But if you come back tomorrow, I will make you the future of this dojo. The decision is yours." Silver told her and then walked away, leaving her to think about it.

Tory didn't know what to do. She didn't know how to feel. She just felt so betrayed as she was left standing in the middle of the dojo, tears almost pooling in her eyes before she pulled herself together and rushed out.

Tory went home and thought about what Silver said. She frowned and thought about the LaRusso's. She sighed. They deserve to know what happened. Tory groaned. She picked up the trophy and made her choice.

Across the valley, Sam was at home, in the kitchen getting a drink, steaming about the loss to Cobra Kai when she heard a knock. Sam sighed and walked over to open it.

When she saw Tory she went to slam the door in her face.

"Wait! Please don't close the door. I need to talk to you and your family."

"What could you possibly have to say to us?" Sam glared at Tory but was surprised when Tory only looked down. "Why did you bring the trophy here."

"I didn't win," Tory told her, not looking at her.

"What are you talking about?"

"The ref," Tory said, and Sam knitted her eyebrows together. "My foot was in bounds," Tory told her.

"Was he paid off or something?" Sam asked, cluing in.

"He was," Tory said, letting the trophy slip out of her fingers, crashing to the floor.

"What's going on in here?" Daniel asked, seeing the trophy on the floor. Amanda came in beside him and looked at Tory. She saw her downward gaze and was concerned.

"Tory?" Amanda asked and Tory looked up. She saw the pain in Tory's eyes and grew concerned. "What's going on?" Amanda asked as Daniel picked up the trophy. "Talk to us."

"I came here because I can't keep this up anymore," Tory told them, looking at each of them. "Silver paid off a ref at the All-Valley Tournament to make sure Cobra Kai wouldn't need to shut down."

"You're kidding, right?" Daniel asked, pissed off.

Tory shook her head and looked down. "I'm not," Tory told him and looked at him for the first time. "I went back into the arena to get my gym bag, and I heard Silver talking to the ref. When I confronted him about it he didn't deny it."

"Why are you telling us this?"

Tory sighed and looked at Sam. "Because I don't want to live a lie." Tory looked at Daniel. "I'm so sorry for everything I've done to your family, Mr. LaRusso. None of you deserved what I did, and I am so sorry for coming to your house. I went way too far." Tory apologized. Daniel and Sam looked at each other, both shocked by the apology while Amanda heard Tory sniffle.

"Tory," Amanda walked up to Tory and made her look her in the eye. "Is there something else going on?" Tory shook her head. "You sure?" Tory nodded.

"Look, I just came to tell you that, okay? Nothing else." Tory looked longingly at the trophy. "I have to go," Tory said, beginning to walk out of the LaRusso house.

The LaRusso's watched Tory leave the house and when the door closed Sam and Daniel looked at the trophy that Tory left behind.

"I'm done, Silver," Tory said, coming into the dojo while he was in the middle of a session the next day.

Everyone turned to look at Tory and had shock written on their faces.

Kenny stopped and walked closer to her. "What the hell do you mean you're done?"

"I mean I'm quitting Cobra Kai," Tory said, staring back at him. "Look, it's just not working out," Tory told him. She turned around and started to walk out when Kenny, Kyler and more Cobra Kai students blocked her way. "Get out of my way," Tory demanded. "I'm getting out of here."

"Good look with that," Kenny said, leaping forward to punch her.
