Part 2

"I mean I'm quitting Cobra Kai," Tory said, staring back at him. "Look, it's just not working out," Tory told him. She turned around and started to walk out when Kenny, Kyler and more Cobra Kai students blocked her way. "Get out of my way," Tory demanded. "I'm getting out of here."

"Good look with that," Kenny said, leaping forward to punch her.

Tory blocked his punch and punched him in the stomach, but Kyler swiped her legs, and she landed on her shoulder, hard. Tory heard a pop and yelped out. Kenny jumped on her and began hitting her in the face. She heard her nose crack and was trying to get up, but she was being held down. Tory began to panic, it was at least four vs one and Silver was just watching, not doing anything.

The beating went on for a few more minutes before it stopped. Tory saw spots and lost her bearings.

"Take her out in the alley and leave her there." Silver ordered and she felt herself being picked up and then dropped outside. She cried out when she fell, felt herself being kicked and heard a couple of ribs crack and when the pain became too much, she became unconscious.

It was the next morning when Devon was coming to the dojo through the alley when she saw what looked to be a body. She quickly ran to the body and when she saw it was Tory she pulled out her phone and called. 9-1-1.

"Tory." Devon breathed out. "Tory, please wake up." Devon shook her but received no reply. Devon brought a hand to cover her mouth, she tried to shake her some more, but Tory didn't move at all.

An ambulance had arrived and hooked Tory up to a heart monitor. Her heartbeat was slow but once they got her stabilized they rushed her into the ambulance and took her to the hospital. Devon was left in the alley, still in shock but she pulled out her phone and called Robby.

"Devon? What do you want?" Robby asked, annoyance clear in his voice.

"I found Tory in the alley near Cobra Kai. She was badly beaten." Devon told her, voice shaking.

"What? What do you mean badly beaten?" Robby asked and Sam looked over to him. They were in Miyagi-Do, and he attracted a few people's attention with how loud he shouted.

"From what I saw she had a broken nose, a dislocated shoulder and I'm sure a lot more. She was unconscious and I couldn't wake her." Devon explained and Robby's mouth dropped open. "She's on her way to the hospital right now."

Robby was in shock but shook out of it. "Thanks for letting me know, Lee," Robby said and then hung up.

Robby looked at Sam and saw that she had questions. "Tory was beaten and found outside of Cobra Kai," Robby explained. "I'm going to go to the hospital. Please let Sensei know." Robby asked her and rushed away, not waiting for a response.

When Robby got to the hospital he quite literally ran into Miguel's mom.

"Oh shoot. I am so sorry, Ms. Diaz." Robby said, embarrassed.

"It's okay, Robby," Carmen said. "Wait what are you doing here?"

Robby swallowed. "Tory was brought here. She was found badly beaten in the alley near Cobra Kai." Robby looked down. "Apparently she had a weak heartbeat when they found her. I just need to find out what's happening to her right now."

"Hey, hey. I'll go and try to get an update. Come with me." Carmen offered and began the walk to the nurses' desk. She searched the computer for 'Tory Nichols' and waited for the results to load.

"Anything?" Robby asked, anxiously.

Carmen raised a hand, instructing him to wait a moment. A full minute later Carman saw her report and frowned. "Um, Robby. It's not great news."

"Is she alive at least?" Robby asked, concern growing.

"She has a broken nose, a dislocated shoulder, four broken ribs, a sprained wrist and ankle. And it shows they're scanning for any brain bleeds right now." Carmen told him, her blood turning cold at Tory's injuries. This isn't good.

Robby had his mouth agape. He had no idea it would be so bad.

"She's going to be okay though, right?" Robby asked, trying to keep it together.

Carmen looked up at Robby, sympathy on her face. "Robby, right now she's stable, until I talk to her doctor, I really can't say anything about her condition."

"I can though," someone said, walking closer to the pair.

"Dr. Karson, can you tell us anything?"

"Depends. Who is this?" Karson motioned to Robby.

"He's her boyfriend." Carmen raised a hand, stopping the doctor from speaking. "She doesn't have any family besides her younger brother. Can you please tell us her condition?"

The doctor looked at Robby and saw the concern written all over his face. She sighed. "Tory has some broken ribs, thankfully no collapsed lung, a dislocated shoulder, a broken nose and a sprained wrist and ankle. We scanned her brain and noticed a slight brain bleed so she's in surgery right now." The doctor finished and Robby felt lightheaded. He walked away from Carmen and Dr. Karson and sat down.

Carmen looked at Robby with sympathy, she knew how hard it was watching a loved one be in such a serious condition in the hospital. Carmen looked at Karson.

"I'm going to call Amanda LaRusso. She's been helping out Tory right now."

Karson nodded and watched Carmen walk away. Carmen walked outside, took a deep breath and dialled Amanda.

It took a few rings before Amanda answered.

"Hey, Carmen. What's up?" Amanda asked, working on some sales reports at the dealership.

"Amanda, I need to talk to you."

Amanda dropped her pen. "What's going on?" Amanda asked, worry growing.

"Tory was badly beaten and she's in the hospital," Carmen said, and Amanda's mouth gaped open just as Daniel was coming into her office.

"How bad is it?" Amanda asked, voice almost shaking she walked to Daniel and held her arm, putting the phone on speaker.

"She has a broken nose, a separated shoulder, a sprained wrist and ankle and four broken ribs," Carmen said, and the couple looked at each other, shock on Daniel's face while Amanda was extremely concerned.

"Is there anything else?" Amanda asked, scared of the answer.

"She has a brain bleed and is in surgery right now," Carmen said, and Amanda gave the phone to Daniel and sat down.

"Carmen, it's Daniel," Daniel said, letting her know that he was with Amanda. "Do you know how much longer she'll be in surgery?"

Carmen sighed. "I don't know," Carmen told him, and he sighed. He looked at Amanda and saw her head in her hands, elbows on the desk, she was panicking. "look, right now Robby is here, I figured he may need someone here with him."

"Who found her?" Amanda asked, calmed down.

"Devon Lee found her in the alley near Cobra Kai. She was unresponsive and she called 9-1-1 right away."

Daniel sighed and Amanda stood up. "Carmen, did Robby tell anyone else?"

"No. That's why I called you. I figured he might need someone with her."

Daniel and Amanda looked at each other. "Carmen, I'm coming," Amanda told her and hung up, not waiting for a response.
