Part Three (Final)

Daniel sighed and Amanda stood up. "Carmen, did Robby tell anyone else?"

"No. That's why I called you. I figured he might need someone with her."

Daniel and Amanda looked at each other. "Carmen, I'm coming," Amanda told her and hung up, not waiting for a response.

When Amanda got to the hospital she rushed in and looked for Robby. When she found him in the waiting room she bent down to look at him at eye level.

"Robby," Amanda called, and Robby looked up, tears in her eyes. "any updates?" Robby shook his head and looked down at her hands again. "Who's her doctor? Carmen called me but I know Carmen doesn't do neurology."

"Dr. Karson," Robby told her. Amanda nodded and watched Robby and started to see him tear up.

"Oh, Robby. I'm sure she'll be okay. She's a tough girl, okay?" Amanda tried to comfort but it didn't work and when she saw the first tear roll down his face she pulled the boy into her arms, and he sobbed into her shoulder. "Shh, Robby. It's going to be okay, it'll be okay." Amanda rubbed Robby's back, trying to soothe him.

It had taken Amanda a few more moments to calm Robby down and when she did she sat beside him, keeping a hand on his back, rubbing circles, hoping to keep him calm.

It was 10 minutes later when Carmen came into the waiting room and walked over to them. Amanda gently shook Robby since he was looking down.

"Ms. Diaz, is she okay?"

"She's still in surgery right now. I don't know how long it's going to take but Dr. Karson wanted me to give you the update that she's still alive." Carmen explained, resting a hand on Robby's shoulder.

Robby nodded and Amanda sighed in relief when her phone began to ring.

Hubby-Son

Amanda sighed again and excused herself from Carmen and Robby and walked out of the waiting room, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

"Hey, Hun," Amanda said, running a hand through her hair.

"Where are you, Amanda?"

Amanda closed her eyes and swallowed. "At the hospital, Daniel," Amanda told her. "Tory was badly beaten."

"What? What happened?" Daniel asked with shock in his voice.

"She was found outside of Cobra Kai in her Gi by Devon Lee earlier this morning," Amanda told him.

"Is Robby there? He took off from training today and Sam wouldn't tell me why."

"He is. Carmen called me to let me know. I'm going to stay and make sure he isn't alone."

"Do you want me to come too?" Daniel asked, wanting to support his wife if needed.

Amanda shook her head before remembering that Daniel couldn't see her. "No. No, it's okay. She's in surgery right now."

Daniel's mouth gaped open just as Sam was walking into the house with Anothy.

"Surgery? For what?" Daniel asked and Sam's face dropped.

Amanda gulped. "She has a brain bleed, Daniel," Amanda told her, tearing up. She hated that this was happening to Tory.

"Oh, my God. Is she going to be okay?"

"Carmen and the doctor won't know until she's stabilized and the bleeding stops," Amanda told him.

"What the hell is going on, Dad? Robby ran out of the lesson after telling me that Tory was badly beaten. Is she okay?" Sam asked, worry on her face even though she and Tory weren't exactly friends.

Daniel shook his head and put the phone on speaker. Amanda repeated what she told Daniel and Sam was tearing up. She hated Tory but she never expected this could happen to her.

"Any idea who did this?" Daniel asked.

"No, we have no idea," Amanda told her. "As I told you we just know that she was found outside in the alley near Cobra Kai."

"Is it possible that someone in Cobra Kai did this to her?" Sam asked.

"I don't know, Sam," Amanda answered, rubbing her forehead, a headache growing.

Sam sat down on a chair by the kitchen table. She couldn't believe this was happening.

Daniel said goodbye after telling Amanda that he would come by the hospital.

"I want to come too," Sam told her dad. She wanted to be there for Robby. Daniel just nodded and they rushed out of the house.

When Sam and Daniel arrived at the hospital they rushed to the waiting room and saw Carmen, Amanda and Robby sitting next to each other.

Sam sat next to Robby when Carmen got up while Daniel sat next to Amanda and grabbed her hand.

"Any updates?" Sam asked, looking at Carmen. Before she could answer Amanda noticed Dr. Karson coming and stood up.

"Dr. Karson, how is she?" Amanda asked, heart racing.

"She's out of surgery. We got the brain bleed under control, but the next 24 hours are critical." Dr. Karson told them, and Robby bent over, letting out a sob of relief. Sam rubbed his back, trying to comfort him as best as she could.

"I'll take you to go and see her if you want. Two can go at a time."

Robby stood up and nodded. "Please," Robby said, and Amanda stood behind him, hand resting on his shoulder. She also wanted to see Tory. She knew that Tory had hurt her daughter, multiple times, but she still found herself caring for the girl after learning what she was going through.

Amanda and Robby got to the room and when Robby saw the state Tory was in, his face crumbled and he rushed to the bed, grabbing the hand that wasn't injured.

It was silent between the two of them when Robby let out another sob before turning to Amanda.

"I love her, Mrs. LaRusso," Robby told her, and Amanda nodded. "I just wish I had the chance to tell her.

"You still do, Robby. She's going to be okay," Amanda tried to reassure.

"I need to be able to tell her. I have to tell her. I have to be able to tell her and be there for her. She deserves better than she's had life treat her so far," Robby vented, and Amanda walked over to him and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"You will Robby, you will." Amanda looked at Tory and was horrified by the bruises on her face. She needed to know who did this.

It was two days later when Robby came to visit Tory. Tory still hadn't woken up and Robby was slowly losing it. He was using his anger to fuel his karate and while Daniel tried to balance him out, he couldn't get him to balance out. He didn't care about Kata when the love of his life was in the hospital.

It was after school when he entered her room. He was pleasantly surprised to see Tory awake.

"Oh, my God, Tory," Robby said, racing over to the bed. "When did you wake up?"

"Only a few minutes ago, Robby," Tory told him, voice raspy. Tory's eyes teared up.

"Tory, can you tell me who did this to you?" Robby asked and Tory looked down at her sprained wrist.

"Kyler, Kenny, and a couple of other Cobra Kai's," Tory told him, and his mouth opened.

"Oh, my God. I am so sorry, Tory. Why did this happen?"

"I tried to leave Cobra Kai but obviously they didn't like that," Tory told him, tearing up.

"You need to report this, Tory," Robby said, and Tory nodded.

"I will. I just need to say something to you first." Tory said, trying to hide her smile but Robby noticed.

"What do you need to say?" Robby asked, slightly concerned.

"I love you, too, Robby," Tory told him, and Robby's face lit up with a smile and he leaned down to gently kiss her, being mindful of the cut.

"I love you so much, Tory. I'm so glad you're okay," Robby said, gently stroking Tory's cheek.

"I'm glad I'm okay too," Tory said. "I'm so glad I get the opportunity for a second chance with you," Tory said. She pulled Robby into another kiss, also smiling.
