Chapter 39 – Yui's Hidden Feelings
Azusa's POV
"…And the cherry burrossom turrees burroom arru throughout the yearu. Making any taim the perfect day tū just rerax and enjoy the scenery. Especiarry with the person you rove."
"*giggle* Zoé-chan…"
"Woah…I still can't believe that we have a foreigner in our class." One of our classmates said as most (if not all) of them were meeting Ui's new girlfriend Zoé-san and learning what France is like.
"I heard that she's a friend of Neroni-senpai of Class 3-2." Another girl said.
"Woah, really? Her French is so cool and soothing…I always wanted to get close to her."
"Aw, well…too bad. Nakano-san's dating her."
"Aw, what?! You're so lucky, Nakano-san!"
"Uh…thanks(?)." I said with a sweatdrop as Jun and I were watching it all unfold.
"Geez, they've been going at it since this morning." Jun said.
"Well, can you blame them? Most of them have never seen a foreigner before and the fact that one was joining our class is a huge shock to them."
"Yeah, I guess…speaking of huge shocks, who would've thought that Ui would be a lesbian?"
"Tell me about it. I mean…I know she can be a siscon at times, but…I certainly didn't think she would ever go through with dating another girl."
"And on top of that, this "other girl" isn't Yui-senpai. I honestly believed she would eventually confess to her and they would secretly make their incestuous relationship work out somehow."
"Jun, what the hell…" I gained a sweatdrop.
"What? You can't deny that it was a possibility."
"Yeah, but…"
*INSERT CLASSIC JAPANESE SCHOOL BELL CHIME HERE*
"Oh hey, guys…" Ui said to us. "Zoé-chan and I are going to go on ahead. We'll see you tomorrow, alright?"
"Goodbye foru now, Azusa and Juné." Zoé-san said before the couple left the classroom and headed off to what was most likely a date.
"She just screwed up my name…a three-lettered name and she screws it up! How is that even possible?!"
"Let it go, Jun. She is a foreigner." I said to her as I grabbed my schoolbag. "I'm heading over to practice. I'll text you later tonight."
"*sigh* Alright. See ya."
As I made my way to the clubroom, I started thinking about what exactly the hell happened this morning. I'm still shocked that Ui has a girlfriend and that she's kept it a secret for a month.
And I'm even more shocked that it all happened 15 minutes after they first met. That's completely insane! Never would I think that Ui would do something so extreme. Yui-senpai, definitely. But not Ui.

Speaking of Yui-senpai…I couldn't help but notice a change in mood in her after it was revealed that Ui and Zoé-san were dating. She looked rather sad about the whole thing. Did it really bother her that much? I don't think she's the type of person to discriminate against same-sex couples. If that was the case, she would've said something during the party back in December. Right?

But…knowing Yui-senpai, I'm pretty sure this has already blown over and she's back to her usual self. So, maybe there's nothing to worry about.

I opened the door to the clubroom and saw the usual people doing their usual thing. Mio-senpai was bickering at Ritsu-senpai for doing something stupid again. Miharu-senpai was trying to not eat Mugi-senpai's sweets again. With the latter really pushing it.
And Yui-senpai was…wait…
"Uh…I'm here." I called out to the four third-years.
"Hey, Azusa. Just in time." Ritsu-senpai said. "Help me get Mio off my back, will ya?"
"Seriously? I'm right here." Mio-senpai retorted.
"H-Hey, Azusa! Just in time!" Miharu-senpai yelled out. "Quick! Snarf down Mugi's sweets so that I don't have to! Please!"
"Seriously? I'm right here." Mugi-senpai retorted.
"Aren't both of those things Yui-senpai's job? Where is she, anyway?"
"Oh, that…" Ritsu-senpai said. "…Yui went home during lunch."
"She did? What happened? Is she feeling okay?"
"Nothing physically. But I think she's still in shock about this morning."
"I don't know, Ritsu…she looked more depressed than shock." Miharu-senpai added.
"Depressed?" I asked.
"I mean, I kinda get how she feels." Mio-senpai said. "Finding out your sister's dating a girl and she's kept it from you for a month…she must have a lot on her mind."
"But Yui-chan never thinks that deeply. Or…at all, now that I think about it."
"Sick burn, Mugi…" The rest of us gained sweatdrops.
"M-My point it, I'm really worried about her."
"Well, did you try talking to her?" I asked.
"We did." Miharu-senpai said. "But she kept saying "I'm fine". We all knew she was allongée hors de son putain de cul, though."
"She was what?" Mio-senpai asked.
""Lying out of her fucking ass" is what she basically said." Mugi-senpai translated.
"I-I see…" Mio-senpai then gained a sweatdrop.
So, Mugi-senpai's learning French now, huh? Makes total sense considering who she lives with...
"Even if she was allongée hors de son putain de cul, you should've at least stopped her." I said.
"We tried to. But she wouldn't stop for any of us. We soon decided not to push her and just let her go."
"We're hoping she'll be her normal self by tomorrow." Ritsu-senpai said. "But the more we think about it, the more doubts we keep getting."
"I see…" I went silent for a bit. "…Then I'll go talk to her."
"If she won't talk to us, then what makes you think she'll talk to you?"
"Please…if anything, nothing will get Yui-senpai to open up than a private talk with "her precious Azu-nyan"."
God, I hate that name…
"Yeah, you do have a point…"
"And besides, Ui went out on a date with Zoé-san. So, it'll really be just her and I. That'll get her to open up."
"*sigh* Fine. I guess we'll leave it to you, then."
"Let us know how it went when it's over, alright?" Mio-senpai asked.
"Yeah, yeah. I will." I said as I made my way out of the clubroom and soon out of the school to talk with Yui-senpai about what happened this morning. I may have sounded confident back there, but even I don't know how this conversation will end.
It could make things back to normal…or make it a hell of a lot worse.
Yui's POV
I didn't do much of anything once I got home. Which may sound normal…but this time it was due to pure sadness and mild depression. I didn't really want to do anything. I just went to my room, changed out of my uniform, and went to bed. Wanting to be alone for…who knows how long, really.
"Ui…has a girlfriend. I knew one day someone will come and swoop her off her feet…but to think that person would be another girl…I should be happy for them. I really should. But…I can't. It hurts too much for me to be happy. At anything anymore."
It was at that moment I fell asleep. Letting my depressed emotions take hold of my dreams as I drifted off into the deepest parts of my mind.
Just to see where I went wrong…
"Onee-chan…Onee-chan…"
"*tired moan*"
"Onee-chan, come on. You're gonna be late for your first day of high school."
"H-Huh? Oh…morning *yawn*, Ui." I said as I rubbed the back of my head. Mildly staring at my little sister's middle school uniform.
Even now, it still looks cute on her…
"Geez, Onee-chan. You seem to get more relaxed whenever Mom and Dad go out on their "Romance Trips"."
"Sorry, Ui. But I was up for most of the night. I was just so excited…I'm actually starting high school today! I can't wait to see what new classmates I'll have and…"
"Right…new classmates…" Ui then gained a sad look on her face as she tried not to cry. But ultimately failed.
"Ui…"
"*sniff* I-I'm sorry, Onee-chan. I-It's just…y-you're going to high school today and I'll *sniff*…I-I'll be left alone! I-I don't want you to leave, Onee-chan! I-I'll…I'll…I'LL MISS YOU SO MUCH! WAAAAAAA!"
"Ui…" I grabbed hold of my dear little sister and hugged her as tightly as I could to comfort her. "…It'll be okay, Ui. It'll only be for a year. Then, once you pass your high school entrance exam, you can come to the high school and we'll be together once more."
"*sniff* R-Really? Y-You promise?"
"I promise. Your precious Onee-chan would never lie to you."
"*sniff* Onee-chan…"
With a smile now on my sister's face, we both slowly inched our faces forward and soon connected our lips together in a sweet passionate kiss filled with a huge burning rush. *sigh* I guess the others told her that I left during lunch. And she's probably concerned about me...
But…why would she be concerned about me? She has Miharu-chan now. She doesn't have a reason…to be worried about me...

"Yui-senpai! It's me, Azusa! Open the door, please!"
"She sure is persistent. A trait she never had when Miharu-chan wasn't here. *sigh* I better go see what she wants."
I then left my bedroom (a-after changing my panties. I-It took me a while to notice that I was actually touching myself while deep in that dream.) and eventually opened the door for the little kōhai. She was still in her school uniform. So, I knew in my mind that school had just recently let out for the day.
"Geez! There you are, Yui-senpai! Are you THAT much of a heavy sleeper?!"

But once I noticed that Azu-nyan had placed her foot in between the door, I knew it was far from over.
"Yui-senpai…we need to talk."
She's not gonna let up, is she? *sigh* Damnit, Miharu-chan! You made Azu-nyan assertive!
"F…Fine. Come on in." I gave in to the kōhai's demand.
"Thank you, Yui-senpai. Pardon the intrusion." Azu-nyan said as she came inside my house.
This is going to be hell…
I offered Azu-nyan something to drink and soon it was just the two of us sitting in my room in deep silence. With me being a mix of annoyed and nervous as hell that she's even here right now.

Which is kinda ironic. Since I'm known to be always clinging on to her at times. I mean…I did stop. Mainly because Miku-chan is even cuter. But that's beside the point.
"So…you really want to know what's wrong with me, huh?" I asked the kōhai.
"Not just me, Senpai. The others want to know, too. They were really worried when you said you were leaving so early."
"I see…"
I should've kept my mouth shut and snuck off…
"Senpai…did what happened this morning truly bothered you?"

"Why would you even assume that?"
"I'm sorry, okay? It's just…you looked really upset when it was revealed that Ui and Zoé-san were a couple. Almost like you were about to cry."
Sh-She noticed that?! Wh-What is she, Nodoka-chan?!
"Well…" Right now, I was mentally deciding what to do in this situation. I could straight-up lie to her. But as I've noticed recently, she'll figure it out in just mere seconds and I'll be totally screwed afterward.
So, now my only option is…
"…*sigh* H-Hey, Azu-nyan…you're an only child, right?"
"Yeah, why?"
"So, then…you probably won't understand what I'm about to say."
"Say what? What are you talking about, Senpai?"
"W-Well…y-you see…"

"H-Huh?" I gained a blank look as Azu-nyan looked at me with an exasperated look.
"You had us all worried because you love Ui? Geez, Yui-senpai. Way to make a big deal over nothing."
"N-No, Azu-nyan. You don't understand. I LOVE Ui. From the bottom of my heart."
"Well, duh. I get that. You two are sisters, aren't you?"
She still doesn't get it…
"N-No, as in…I'm IN LOVE with Ui."
"In love?" Azu-nyan went silent for a bit. Then, after thinking about it fully, she gained a completely blushed look of pure shock all over her face. Which told me that she finally understood. "Y-Yui-senpai…y-you don't mean…"
"Yeah…I do mean it. I'm in love with my younger sister."
"No way…never would I've thought that BOTH Hirasawa sisters would be total siscons. This could change up the dynamics of K-ON FanFictions for years to come! A total mind-blow!"
"Will you be serious?!" I yelled. Completely pissed that she's even breaking the 4th wall at this particular moment.
"Sorry…" Was all she said.
"*sigh* I can't believe I actually told someone that. I bet you think I'm a freak now, huh?"
"N-No! Not at all, Senpai! But, I gotta ask…what made you gain these feelings for your own sister?"
"Well…" Now what I was about to say next might just blow this little kōhai's mind to the deep end. "…back in middle school, I had this boyfriend…"
"W-Wait, what the hell?! YOU had a boyfriend?!"
"I know. Crazy, right?" I said while rubbing the back of my head. "Nobody would expect the ditzy Yui Hirasawa to have a boyfriend. Especially one at such a young age."
"Yeah, you definitely have us all beaten there…" Azu-nyan gained a sweatdrop.
"Anyway…this boyfriend and I…we were okay. As far as relationships go for a couple of middle schoolers. We had our moments and it was a pretty blissful time. But then…he asked for something that was a huge dealbreaker for me.
"Dealbreaker? Why, what did he do?"
"Well…"
How do I explain this without shattering her innocence?
"…He wanted to…slide a pickle inside a taco…if you get what I mean."
"Slide a pickle inside a taco…" It didn't take long for Azu-nyan to figure it out. And when she did, the huge blushed face from before had returned with full force. "Wh-What the hell?! He asked for THAT?!"
"Yep. With no hesitation, either."
"Y-Yui-senpai…PLEASE tell me you didn't…"
"No. Of course, I didn't. No way in hell would I do something like that at such a young age. And that's what led to us breaking up."
"I-I see…"
"And as you would expect, I took it pretty hard. For nearly 2 days, I kept crying over losing my first love over something so…dirty. I thought to myself that maybe I should've gone ahead and done it. Just so both of us would be happy in the end.

…And that's when Ui came to comfort me."
"Ui did, huh? That's expected of her."
"Yeah…" I said with a sigh.
"So, what did she say?"
"You know…your usual stuff. "It's okay, Onee-chan." "That boy was no good for you." "You can totally do better." All that stuff you normally hear in some cheesy romance anime."
"I see…"
"But…what really did it for me was how Ui started cuddling with me. And said the 9 words that would forever change my view of my own little sister for the rest of my life.
Onee-chan…I will always love you. No matter what.
A normal person would push that aside as a sister trying to cheer their Onee-chan up. But because of my broken early-teen heart, I took those words personally. And haven't seen them as anything else since."
I then made a huge sigh. Preparing myself to reveal the deepest parts of my secret incestuous crush on my own sister.
"For a full year after that, I've been having the same dream about Ui and me. To where it's just the two of us and…we end up kissing…and topless…and then right when things are about to get dirty, our parents walk in on us and that always ends the dream. "Here you are, Onee-chan." Ui said as she came into my room. "Oh, hello, Azusa-chan. I didn't know you were coming over."
"Oh, um…I was just…asking your sister about our next live gig. S-Since summer break's coming up and all."
"I see…"
Yes! Thank you, Azu-nyan!
"Well…I'm gonna go now. Before it gets too dark out. See you both tomorrow."
"Bye, Azusa-chan."
"Yeah…bye." Was all I said as we watched Azu-nyan leaving my room and soon the house in general.
I hope she keeps all of that a secret…
"You two seem to be getting along nicely." Ui said.
"Yeah…" I said. "…So…where were you? You normally don't come home this late."
"Oh, that. I was on a date with Zoé-chan. We were just walking around while I showed her what a Japanese town was like. Even then, it was so romantic. Walking alongside your one true love as you talk about whatever comes to mind. Just the thought of it makes my heart flutter. I'm so glad I get to physically be with Zoé-chan. Best surprise ever."
"R-Really now? Th-That's…g-good…" Was all I said.
"Onee-chan, are you okay?"
"I-I'm fine. I-I'm just…I-I'm just gonna take a quick nap. I've had a long day."
"Oh…okay then. I'll wake you up when dinner's ready, okay? Try not to sleep through it this time."
"Hahahaha. I won't."
Ui then left my room and closed the door behind her. Once I knew she was fully gone, I collapsed onto my bed and released all of my emotional tears on my pillow. Now reliving an emotional nightmare that plagues my shattered heart all over again. Just like it did in middle school.
U-Ui…y-you idiot.
Mugi's POV
"S-Seriously? Yui-chan has a crush on Ui-chan?"
"That's what she told me. And she's really struggling with it, too." This was told to me by Azusa-chan as she had called me right when I was going to bed. I had a feeling that something was wrong with Yui-chan. But that "something" being her having taboo feelings for her younger sister was WAY off from what I was thinking.
I guess you really do learn something new about your friends every day…
"So, this is something she's dealt with since middle school?"
"Well, kinda. She said that once she started high school, the feelings went away. It wasn't until Ui and Zoé-san did that reveal this morning that they started showing up again."
"I see. And this "Dream" you mentioned before…th-that's HER own telling of it?"
"Y-Yeah…i-it's all true. E-Every word of it."
"I-I see…" I gained a light blush.
Based on that dream…the situation is worse than I thought.
"S-So…*clears throat*…why did you call me about it? Pretty sure Yui-chan doesn't want any of us to know, right?"
"Yeah, but…I really want to help her. She is still my friend. And I called you because you're the only person who would take this seriously. Ritsu-senpai would be completely useless, Mio-senpai is completely dense when it comes to love, and there's no way in HELL I'm involving Miharu-senpai in this. She'll just send our efforts straight down to hell."
"Unfortunately, that's so true…" I gained a sweatdrop.
"So…can you help me out, Mugi-senpai? I'll owe you big for this."
"Well…" I went silent for a bit. Normally, I'm all in for prying into other people's business if it means helping them. It's pretty much how Miharu and I officially met. But with a topic as…obscure...as what Yui-chan is dealing with, this may be breaking my boundaries a little.

But…even then…Yui-chan did help me when I was struggling with my own problems. So, I do owe her greatly.
"…Alright, Azusa-chan. Count me in."
"Great! Thanks, Mugi-senpai!" The junior cheered. "So, what do we do?"
"Just leave the planning to me. I'll let you know tomorrow after practice."
"Okay, then. Goodnight, Mugi-senpai."
"Goodnight, Azusa-chan." I then hung up my phone and looked up at the night sky above. "*sigh* This is going to be a tough one…"

But…now that I think about it, I could use this to solve another problem I'm currently working on. Giving how they both involve the same person.
I then went through the contacts on my phone and called another person I had in mind. Hoping she'll pick up.
"Hello?"
"Hello there, Himeko-chan."
"Kotobuki-san? Well, this is rare…what made you call me this late at night?"
"Hey, you're not busy this Sunday, right? Wanna go on a date with Yui-chan?"

"Wh…WHAT?!" Was all the hopeless romantic said before going in a panic.
And so, it begins…
Author's Note: Yeah…Yui has taboo feelings for her sister. Normally, it's the other way around, but…I've always wondered what it'll be like if Yui was a total siscon like Ui. A small peak of that was made in that dream sequence of hers. But due to this story's current rating, I didn't go any further. Probably for the best.
So, this basically means that, since Miharu and Mugi have had personal problems in this story, now it's Yui's turn. And it will continue into the Summer Break arc, too. So, this is gonna be a doozy.
