Summary: Team Danger faces off against Rick Twittler
Evie's Notes: Happy Sunday! I hope you all are having a wonderful week ! As always, thank you so much your support of this story, it really and truly means the world to me ! I hope that you all enjoy the this new update .
Puzzles and Puppies awareness week was always a big deal in Swellview. For Charlotte, Henry and Jasper though this one was even more important. This would be the week that Rick Twittler would attempt to destroy the internet. The trio planned to use their foreknowledge to stop the man's trap.
Following the same script as last time, Charlotte clued in Jasper, Ray and Schwoz as to what she had 'found' in the hostage video the man had sent in.
"Do you hear that loud buzzing sound in the background?" she asked. "I isolated it and ran it through the man cave computers and you'll never guess what I found".
Unfortunately her bosses and her boyfriend were too busy playing with the dog Ray stole to listen to her.
"Hey!" Charlotte yelled, getting the trio's attention. "As I was saying I used the man cave computer to isolate the buzzing and…"
"Man cave computer? Didn't that get hacked during Cactus Con?"
"It did," agreed Charlotte.
"Schwoz, I feel like you should know who hacked the man cave computer by now" snapped Ray.
"I feel like you should know how to shut your mouth" sassed Schwoz.
"Excuse me!" shouted Charlotte, frustrated with being ignored and wanting to move them along. The three men turned to give her their attention. "Now as I was saying, I isolated the buzzing in the background of the video and you will never guess what it was"
"Bees?" asked Ray
"Gonna guess bees," agreed Schwoz.
"Or you'll guess it right away" sighed Charlotte.
"It's probably the beekeeper. He's usually up at the Swellview honey factory. I'll go check it out" decided Ray.
"Are you sure you don't want to wait for Henry before you go?" asked Charlotte, already knowing his response.
"You're right, somebody should watch Kaitlyn while I'm gone" said Ray.
"Oh my God, you named her Kaitlyn," cooed Schwoz as he cuddled the puppy Ray passed to him.
"She is such a Kaitlyn" agreed Jasper, cooing happily at the dog.
Charlotte shook her head in disappointment, the three males couldn't stop focussing on the puppy.
"Triple beep Henry and tell him to meet me at the Swellview Honey Factory" ordered Ray as he headed over to the tube pad and launched himself up into the air.
"Okay", sighed Charlotte, before motioning for Jasper to go get their gear so that they could eventually bust in and save Henry and Ray.
Like before, her messages to Henry didn't go through, Piper had been ranting to Charlotte yesterday about how Jana Tetrazzini had gotten in the news by doing a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle. When Jasper and Charlotte had left for work, she noticed that the girl had already left for the store in search of a 10,001 piece jigsaw puzzle because "she does not lose to Jana Tetrazzini". Henry had promised to distract his parents, make the puzzle and head over to the honey factory to get 'captured' and meet them there.
With Schwoz distracted by the dog, Charlotte and Jasper donned their costumes and hurtled up the tubes towards the Swellview Honey Factory.
*A New Hero - A New Hero - A New Hero*
Arriving at the Swellview Honey Factory, Charlotte and Jasper climbed up to the roof and peered in on the scene below them through the glass ceilings. They could see Rick Twitler actively trapping Henry in his machine, while Ray lay under the heavy broken trap.
As they listened to Rick ramble about how he was going to destroy the internet forever, Charlotte gave the go ahead signal. Jasper cut a hole in the roof and tossed down a length of rope which they both quickly slid down, Jasper landing on top of Rick Twittler.
"Guys! I literally just said you were about to show up!" grinned Henry as Charlotte landed next to Jasper.
"Really?" asked Charlotte, as she moved over to remove the broken machine parts from Ray and free Henry.
""Yes!""
"So uh, who'd we land on? Good guy? Bad guy? What are we talking here?" asked Jasper
"Bad guy is what we're talking here. Rick Twitler. Tried to steal our powers" said Ray as Charlotte helped him to his feet.
"Not cool, Rick Twitler!" sassed Jasper as he tied up the tech genius.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, I thought he was the hostage?" said Charlotte, playing the part of 'person not from the future who knew all of this'. "And what happened to the Beekeeper"
"He faked his kidnapping and we lasered the beekeeper" explained Ray
"Yikes. Wait, so why would this dude kidnap himself and then try to steal your superpower?" wondered Jasper
"I dunno, I wasn't listening" shrugged Henry
"I was going to take your super power and put it in that" snapped Rick Twittler, struggling against his bonds.
"A lava lamp?" asked Ray
"No. It's a computer virus. A living, organic computer virus. Nasty stuff… It's going to infect every computer, every laptop, and every phone on Earth. I'm going to destroy the internet. Forever" explained the man.
"Not cool, Rick Twitler!" snapped Charlotte.
"I have a question" said Ray "You invented Twitflash. Why would you want to destroy the internet?"
"Because the internet ruined everything! It's partially my fault. Everyone just stares at their phones all day now, scrolling through Twitflash. It's terrible".
"But, dude...memes" smirked Henry.
"Yeah, Memes are hilarious," agreed Jasper.
"I don't care about memes! That's why I was going to create an indestructible computer virus with super fast reflexes, unleash it on the world, and destroy the internet forever".
"Well we certainly are not going to let you do that" scoffed Charlotte, hoisting the memory wiper. "Say goodbye to your memory Rick Twittler"
"NO!"
"Okay" shrugged the girl, as she flipped the switch activating the weapon.
"Charlotte!" scolded Ray "Why the hell did you do that?"
"So that he won't break out and finish his evil plan, duh" sassed the girl.
"Kid Danger, you wanna call the cops?" asked Jasper, as he lifted up the unconscious Beekeeper.
"Yup. I'll let them know that we're on our way over to drop them off at Swellview Jail".
"Alright, let's go!" cheered Charlotte.
"Wait a second I'm the boss and I will say when we go" snapped Ray angrily. "NOW we'll go".
The three teens rolled their eyes at the childish man before following him out of the honey factory carrying the two villains.

Charlotte was sitting in bed swiping through Twitflash on her phone as she waited for the boys to be ready for bed. Henry was saying goodnight to Piper and cleaning up the kitchen while Jasper took a shower.
KLVY News:Captain Man and Team Danger have apprehended the Beekeeper and the newest Swellview villain Rick Twitler. MolLol6:WAIT?! I thought Doc and the Professor were dating? But Doc and Kid Danger are so cute together. I kinda ship it?!
MadamDanger:y'all went out for froyo without me? #traitors.
Laughing at Mia's comment, Charlotte sent a quick text to her friend telling her that they would buy her Froyo next time they came to visit to make up for it.
Her eyes kept being drawn back to MolLol16's comment. It was true that Jasper and Henry were cute together. Her boyfriend and best friend were extremely handsome and she would be lying if she said that she had never thought about Henry that way but it had always been kind of a background thought. She considered both boys to be her soulmates, and ever since they had been blasted into the past her background thoughts had been forced into the front. She suspected that Jasper felt the same way, but was struggling to figure out a way to bring up the topic.
Charlotte looked up as the shower shut off and Jasper entered the room dressed only in a pair of plaid pajama pants, his blond hair wet and falling in his eyes.
"Hey babe" said Jasper, as he laid down on the bed next to Charlotte. "Whatcha thinking bout? Your eyebrows are doing that cute thing they do whenever you're thinking too hard".
Making up her mind, Charlotte took a deep breath as she turned to face her boyfriend, "Jasper I think we should talk".
