Notes: Michael wakes up in a strange place. After doing some investigation he finds out a startling truth.
Spoilers for Fnaf Help Wanted, and possibly Security Breach.
Michael's POV:
Coughing, I open my eyes. I'm in some sort of park. What happened?! The last thing I remember is the fire! I'm not supposed to be alive! This was all meant to end once and for all. No more me and more Freddys! After getting scooped the remnants injected won't allow me to die anyway beside fire! Even if that didn't work it still doesn't explain why I am here.
Despite my initial shock my eyes widen as I catch a glimpse of my hands. Instead of the rotting zombie-like hands that I still never got used to, my hands are normal! That's not the only weird thing. I also notice that I am shorter than usual.
WAIT!
I rush over to the pound and I jump back once I see my reflection. Staring back at me is a face I haven't seen in a long time. A face I have grown to hate with all my heart.
I'm…. fifteen again! How can this be? In all fairness I have already witnessed things unnatural already. Ghost, remnant, living even though your body is completely rotting…. A freak. Maybe this has something to do with remnant. Someone could have injected me with a modified version that healed my body and returned me to this age. But that still doesn't explain why I am here.
Dammit! This wasn't supposed to happen! I wanted to die there; it was destiny! I don't want to go on! Now that Henry is gone along with Elizabeth, I have no one left. I hit a tree with all my might despite the pain that surged through my body.
I sigh rubbing my hand. I have to get out of here and find out what happened. First thing I need to do is to find out if our plan worked. I need to make sure he didn't escape, and that all the kids are free.
Emily's POV:
Ever since we have taken Evan home from the hospital, he seems different. He seems more nervous, and I can tell something is bothering him. It's like when we first welcomed him into our family. I tried talking to him about it, but he just told me that everything is fine. I don't know what upset him, but when the time is right mom and dad will probably ask what happened.
Right now, I am in my room painting to take my mind off of things. Painting has been a hobby of mine ever since I was little. I have been taking classes for a while now and I have greatly improved. Right now, I am painting a picture of our neighborhood. I'm just putting the finishing touches on one of the houses. Suddenly my hand freezes as my eyes widen.
There is breathing on the back of my neck.
I turn around as I prepare to face whatever is behind me. But my fear becomes confused as there is nothing behind me. What….but I know I felt something! I just don't get it; the breathing didn't feel human. It was just too vicious. Ok, maybe I'm just nervous. I know that I am worried about Evan and maybe I am not getting enough sleep that's got to be it.
I try to focus on painting, but I just can't get what happened out of my head. My handshakes as I have to repaint a few sections I messed up due to my nervousness. It wouldn't be really realistic to have a smudge of red on the blue sky, would it. As I finish up the painting, I set my paint brush down and sit down on my bed. I just got to relax now; everything is fine.
As I begin to close my eyes, I notice something standing near my door. I can only see it out of the corner of my eye but what I can see terrifies me to my core. The skin on it looks metallic and pitch black. On top of its head is a yellow hat. Its red eyes are staring at me…. as if I am prey!
I quickly open my eyes, as I gasp and turn my head to face the door. I am left confused when there is nothing there. Was I starting to drift off to sleep! I heard of some cases of sleep paralysis where people see things that are not there. It has to be that! But this feels all too real. Getting up I begin to start looking around the house. I know it was probably nothing, but I just can't shake the feeling that something is wrong.
Heading over to the living room I open the closet door. When I see nothing out of the ordinary, I close it. Leo is sitting on the couch in the living room. He looks both concerned and confused by what I am doing.
"Em, are you ok?"
"Yes, I just had a bad dream. That's all." Leo frowns as he stands up from the couch.
"A bad dream doesn't usually make you do this sort of thing. Are you sure there is nothing else bothering you?"
"Yes, it was just a little real. That's all." With that I decided to end my search. I can't believe I let my imagination get the best of me. I need to be there for Evan, yet I let this sidetrack me.
"Emily! It's time to go to the store! Are you ready?" Leo still looks worried, but he looks more relaxed now. That's right, mom and dad said we are going grocery shopping today. I get up and head downstairs with Leo. It looks like everyone else is ready. Hopefully a fun family outing will take my mind off my nightmare.
Nightmare POV:
His wickedness is not part of this world. We are weaker here, but that will never stop the pain.
Even without his influence in this world, there is still the fear and pain that his son holds. We will never leave him.
When the time comes, we will come upon him in a merciless wave. He will know true horror then. And when that happens nothing can save him.
Michael's POV:
To be able to walk out in public in broad daylight is strange. Ever since my body rotted, I always had to go out during dark or hide my features under clothes that were way too big for me. I remember the look people gave me as I passed them on the street after I had been scooped. At first, they were all nice and friendly. But as the days passed and my body rotted, they were not smiling any more.
I still look at my hands expecting to see them the same rotting purple color that I have been living with for many years. But each time I only see the healthy skin of a 15-year-olds hands.
I suddenly feel something weird. Looking down at my stomach I hear a growling sound as I feel a weird sensation. Am I hungry? It's not like a rotting corpse needs food to nourish it, I found that out soon after I was faced with my new reality. I haven't eaten anything in so long the thought of eating has become foreign to me. But I can put off eating for later. Right now, I have to focus on finding out what happened.
In order to do that I went to the nearest public library I could find. Right now, I am sitting at a computer going through all the information I can. I so far have googled the name of the location I was managing in the hopes that it would tell me about the fire. But I got nothing from it, all that came up was a bunch of stuff talking about the Fazbear brand in general. I also looked up the location in official business websites, but I am shocked to see no location registered.
Fazbear Entertainment is greedy and corrupt, but even they register the buildings. I'm going to have to take a different approach. Inside I'll try calling up Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's in general there is no way there will be no search results for it. The company and the disappearances were too well known for absolutely nothing to come up.
Thankfully when I press enter, I have tons of results. I might as well check the Wikipedia page first. It should at least give me the bare minimal information on new locations. But strangely the wiki is called Five Nights at Freddy's wiki. That's odd but I'm sure I'll see what it means in a bit.
10 minutes later:
I can hardly walk as I stumble out of the library. What I have just seen has left me stunned. My world is a video game? And I have just been transported here after my death? It's too much to take in. I sit down on a bench as I am left trapped in my thoughts.
Apparently, what just happened at the Pizzeria in my world, is a part of the events of the Fnaf game Pizza simulator. Then they made a VR game called Help Wanted. I checked it out and it's also a part of my world as well.
As I looked into the lore of the games past Pizza simulator, it made me more and more drained.
It angers me that despite all me and Henry done they will still continue the franchise. We meant for it to be the end. Fazbear is supposed to be a forgotten horror, with the pain supposed to fade with time. But they did more than that, they also brought back him. That fire was supposed to finally get right of him, and no more making it back after that.
Apparently, the villain in the newer games who is known as Glitchtrap is theorized to be William Afton! Either that or a copy of him, but I don't care! Even if it's something mimicking him, it's too horrible to be around. The world needs him gone, but there is still a trace of him left!
In the newer games in some of the endings he is stopped. But not before he caused more pain, and torment. That's something I promised I would never let happen again. Either way I have failed.
Slowly standing up, I start walking down the sidewalk. I need to think about what I need to do next. I stop as I notice the door of the store in front of me open. I see a woman holding grocery bags come out followed by the rest of what I think to be her family. I'm about to continue walking when I feel all the life drain out of me as I can only stare. The last person coming out…. It can't be.
"Evan."
Author's Notes:
Michael is alive again, and he has just seen someone very, familiar. How will Evan deal with seeing his big brother again?
In the shadows something dark is plotting something.
