Chapter 6: Carla's True Love
Carla was out in the jungles, practicing her singing.
"Ohhhhhh, it's a jungle out here."She crooned."Ohhhhh, it's a jungle out here." Carla sings.
As she finished, she heard someone land behind.
"Wow, that was great."Tomada Junior said. Carla turned around and see a male young peregrine falcon.
"Thank you." Carla said.
"My name is Tomada Junior." The Peregrine falcon introduced himself.
"My name is Carla." She introduced herself.
"I love your singing." Tomada Junior said.
"Thanks do you want to sing with me?" Carla asked him.
"Yes I do." Tomada Junior said.
Carla:
You gotta stand tall
Even when you're small
You gotta sing loud
When they tell you not to talk
You need to believe
That you were born to be free
You gotta let go of all your fears
Cause it's a jungle out here
Tomada Junior joined in on the second verse.
Tomada Junior:

Where everything's pretty

They then sang together.
Carla and Tomada Junior:

They finished the song in perfect harmony
"That was impressive." Carla said.
"It was my friend. Carla your name is so pretty." Tomada Junior said.
"Why aren't you a charmer?" Carla asked him.
"You wanna see my parents." Tomada Junior asked her.
"Yes." Carla said.
Tomada Junior takes Carla to see his parents.
"Mom, Dad I would like you to meet my new friend, Carla." Tomada Junior introduced his parents to Carla.
"Hello Carla my name is Sorrel, this is my husband Tomada and our daughter Bobbie." The Spix macaw introduced herself and her family.
"It's nice to meet you three." Carla said.
"What you two up to?" Tomada asked his son.
"Me and Carla are going to hang out." Tomada Junior answered his father.
"Have fun you two." Bobbie said.
"We will." Carla said.
The two birds hung out together for most of the day, talking about things like singing and life in the jungle. As the sun started to set, Carla decided it was time to go.
"I gotta go home. My parents will be worried about me." Carla said.
"Okay now problem we should hang out again." Tomada Junior said.
"Indeed bye." Carla said.
"Carla wait." Tomada Junior said.
"Yes Junior." Carla said.
"Do you want to go on a date tomorrow?" Tomada Junior asked her.
"Yes I would love that, see you tomorrow. " Carla said.
The two flew off to their respective homes and they look at each other and smiled.
Carla is washing herself up and getting ready for her date. She even placed a flower amongst her head feathers.
"Well look at you. Where are you going?" Jewel asked her daughter.
"No where special. Just going with a friend." Carla said.
"Well you look gorgeous." Jewel said.
"Thank you mom, see you later." Carla said.
Carla joined Tomada Junior on the canopy.
"Wow you look beautiful." Tomada Junior said.
"Thanks." Carla said.
Carla perched herself beside Tomada Junior, and they watched the sunset together.
"The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?" Tomada Junior asked Carla.
"Yes it is. I love the sunset. " Carla said.
"Me too. We can do this more often." Tomada Junior said.
"You know how to charm a girl?" Carla said in a sweet way.
As the darkness fell, they went to their separate homes.
"See you tomorrow." Carla pecked Tomada Junior on the cheek.
"You know it." Tomada Junior said.
After a couple more dates, Carla felt the time for Tomada Junior to meet her family.
"Are you sure about this songbird?" Tomada Junior asked his girlfriend.
"Yes, my family are cool. Tiago is a bit of a prankster and Bia is smart." Carla said.
"It's not them I am worried about. I am worried about is your parents." Tomada Junior said.
"My mom is awesome and my dad is the nicest bird around. They will love you." Carla said.
"Okay if you say so." Tomada Junior said.
Carla and Tomada Junior entered the hollow together.
"Hi sweetie." Jewel smiled.
"Who your friend?" Blu asked.
"Guys this is Tomada Junior, he is my boyfriend." Carla introduced him to the family.
"Hi." Tomada Junior said.
"Yay my little girl is growing up." Jewel said.
"I am so happy for you." Blu said.
"Good for you Carla." Tiago said.
"Way to go Carla." Bia said.
"Thank you everyone." Carla said.
"Tomada Junior, it's a pleasure to meet you. I am glad you are treating my little girl nice. Remember treat her with love and respect." Blu said.
"Dad he loves me and he will never do anything to hurt me." Carla said.
"Understand." Blu said.
Carla and Tomada Junior shared a passionate kiss.
"Awwww." Blu, Jewel, Bia, and Tiago cooed and looked at this moment.
After Carla introduced Tomada Junior as her boyfriend to the family. Carla and Tomada Junior spend time together every day and Tomada Junior told his family about having a girlfriend and they are happy for him. They will get married in the future one day.
