—Day 4 of Glory being in a coma—

I teleported to Glory's room and Deathbringer was sleeping on the floor. He started to wake for a few moments then jolted awake.

"She's fine Deathy" his muscles relaxed a bit.

"Now that you realize that you can't defeat your insomnia, I'm going to restate my idea, if you're going to protect her every second at least sleep with her so you can protect her and get some sleep." He gave a look that suggested he was considering it. I walked over to Glory and checked her for any injuries

"Well Deathy some more good news, Glory is void of any injuries, well except for the coma anyway. Well I hope that made your day I said leaving the room. Just before I left I snapped my fingers and a cow appeared in front of Deathbringer.

I started to walk towards Qibli/Turtle's room. Kinkajou was already visiting them (though mainly Turtle.)

"Well hello there, I'm here to bring good news"

"Mason. Really? What is it!" Turtle asked

"Well Glory is healed from all her injuries-"

"Really! She's awake! That means-"

"Except for the coma, sorry Kinkajou."

"Oh" she said in a disappointed tone.

"Anyway more good news you two have healed enough that you can walk and fly, but take it easy because your muscles are stiff from not moving much for 4 days."

"Here I'll help you." Kinkajou said walking over to Turtles hammock. I walked over and helped Qibli

"When are those two going to get together"

"If I have anything to say about it, in a few weeks." I replied "hey Turtle you probably shouldn't go home for a day or two because of your stiff muscles, that goes for you too Qibli"

"That's fine, I can just stay with Moon but where is Turtle going to stay"

"He can stay with me" kinkajou said excitedly.

"I-thank you Kinkajou"

"Of course"

"Um Qibli are you sure you want to stay with Moon" I said teasingly "you're going to have to stay with her mom too"

"So, I've met her before" he said defensively.

"Yeah and every time you were scared shitless. But if you're sure, do you think you can make it"

"Yeah I think so."

"I'll escort Kinkajou and Turtle then."

"In that case we should probably get going now" Qibli said

—-Roughly 10 minutes later—

We were flying slower because of Turtle, me and Kinkajou were in the front and Turtle was in the back.

"You must really like him to let him stay with you."

"I-no, no it's just that spell messing with my emotions.". I rolled my eyes.

"It's really not you know, any effect the spell had wore off almost 2 years ago."

"W-well even if that's true what if he's lost interest, I mean it's been 2 years."

"Well-"

"Mason what ever you're pestering her about could you please stop." Turtle said

"How did you know I was pestering her."

"She's pale pink and clearly uncomfortable"

"Well we're here anyway"

"Wait isn't this Glory and Deathbringer's hut."

"Yeah this is where she lives, well have fun you two." Then I lowered my voice to a hush "and tell him how you feel, you never know until you try. Well bye!"

—Sunset—

I heard Starflight call my name and I teleported to him, he was in the library at J.M.A.

"What do you need Star"

"Well I want to see Glory again incase she doesn't wake up again so could you restore my eye sight just for a day please."

"You know what, I'll do you one better. You'll be able see for a day then after that all your other senses will be enhanced. you'll be able to see using vibrations, sounds, smells and touch. You'll be able to "see" in, let's say 60% detail in a 40 foot radius and every 10 feet outside that radius the percentage will decrease by 10%. And every week the the percentage will increase 0.01% and the radius will increase one centimeter so in 77 years you'll be able to see in 100% detail in a 171 foot radius and then a extra 100 foot radius because every 10 feet outside the initial radius the percentage will decrease by 10%. Sounds good?"

"I-that would be incredible, but are there any drawbacks, this seems too good to be true."

"Well you won't be able to see color and just don't tell anyone the details, just say that your senses are enhanced a bit because you're blind. But other than that you should be good."

"Thank you Mason" he said hugging me "this means a lot to me"

"No problem anything for a friend." Has he was hugging me I checked to see what Deathbringer was doing. I saw him get into Glory's hammock, put his wings over her to protect her then go to sleep. Glad he followed my advice. I snapped my fingers and said

"There now at midnight you'll be able to see for 24 hours then the previous agreement will activate."

"Thank you, I can't wait to see Glory and my other siblings but especially Fate."

"Speaking of your wife, where is she"

"Oh, she went to bed hours ago, I should probably go to bed now too."

"Well then goodnight Star."

—Day 9 of Glory being in a coma—

I was in Glory's room back against the wall, Deathbringer was in a corner. Then I noticed a flicker of consciousness in Glory. Her eyes blinked awake.

"Uggggg What hap-" she said before a black blur collided with her and started hugging her, one which she recognized instantly:Deathbringer. Then he did something she would have never expected, he started crying. She rapped her wings around him.

"Hey, hey. It's okay I'm here, I'm here." This continued for a few hours until the crying stopped and was replaced by the slow sound of breathing. Glory rested her head next to his and fell asleep.

I decided to do the same, and with my back against the wall, sat down I went to sleep.

—The next day—

I woke up and a few moments later Glory did too. She looked at me and said.

"What happened?"

"Darkstalker knocked you out of the royal hut and you fell to forest floor, you would have died of blood loss if I hadn't gotten there in time. You now have a huge scar on your right arm and you've been in a coma for the past 9 days.". Her face filled with worry.

"Don't worry, Darkstalker is gone and Grandeur has been running the kingdom." She sighed in relief. There was a pause for a few moments

"I remember everything that was said around me while I was in the coma."

"It's not unheard of" I shrugged

"Kinkajou… called me mom."

"Have you ever considered adopting her, officially I mean."

"W-wait what!"

"I mean she's practically your daughter already, she lives with you already for crying out loud."

"I…guess she is."

"And she already sees you as her mom and you already see her as your daughter."

"Huh" she looked down at Deathbringer.

"I've never seen him so upset before"

"Well he cares about you a lot, but he also thinks that he failed himself but more importantly you". And his mom. I added in my head. "He hasn't gone to get food ever since you got hurt, he hasn't spoken he didn't sleep until the fourth night." Just then he started to wake up.

"Hey, are you okay."

"No! I almost lost you Glory and it's all my fault, I failed-"

"Deathbringer, there wasn't anything you could have done, you did fail anyone but especially not me." He didn't say anything for a few seconds.

"I'm just glad you're okay." He said hugging her.

"I should probably tell my kingdom I'm awake."

"No, I'll do it, you should probably go see Kinkajou instead, it is her hatching day."

"Her-oh I don't have anything to give her."

"I think you being okay is the best present she could ask for." With this Glory tried to get out of her hammock, despite Deathbringer still being on top of her.

"Hey you should probably take it easy, your muscles are stiff from not moving for 9 days."

"Here I'll help you" Deathbringer said getting out of the hammock. He helped her get out of the hammock and walk then fly to there hut. Just before they got there, the gang was with Kinkajou for her hatching day.

"Thanks guys, really the gifts are nice but it's just not the same without Glory." She said curling up on the floor.

"Hey I'm sure she'll wake up soon." Turtle said lying down next to her and putting a wing over her.

"But what if she doesn't. Mason said she might not wake up for-" she was interrupted by the door opening and Deathbringer and Glory walking through.

"Glory!" Kinkajou screamed running up and hugging her.

"Yeah, I'm awake. I'm here". While they were doing that I was setting up my radio and microphone.

"Hello Dragons of Phyria and Pantala, and a few humans. Today we have some short but sweet news. Queen Glory has awoken today and will be taking back over control soon and everything will go back to relatively normal. That's all for now, this is Mason Riviera, God of the Multiverse, signing out."
